My husband and I had our destination wedding at the Opal Grand in March and our experience was wonderful. The space is beautiful, newly-renovated and conveniently located next to the beach and action on Atlantic Ave. The staff was professional and their execution was smooth and seamless. Highly recommend working with Ana as your event manager - she was friendly, communicative and went above and beyond to fulfill all of our wedding requests. If you are an out of town bride, you are in good hands with the Opal!

My wedding day went so smoothly due to the amazing staff that work there. They were so accommodating to work with over the course of my 10 month of planning! I had booked my wedding here a year in advance and I was promised my special day would be perfect. It is now three months before my wedding and they just advised me that they're having a major renovation on the property and it will be affecting my ceremony. They claimed that they just found about the major renovation the day prior, however their GM was posting on trip advisor as early as 10/2018 that renovations would be taking place during this time. I am now in a complete panic looking for another venue. There has not even been as much as an \"Im sorry\" from this property. The sales team will lie to you, and continue to lie just to obtain a sale. If you're looking to get married this year or next stay away.

We had our daughter's wedding reception at the Delray Beach Marriott and the venue was just beautiful. Brittnee McGrath was our event coordinator and was terrific to work with. She helped coordinate and was able to answer any and all questions we had leading up to the weekend. Because it was an out of town wedding, we were concerned about long distance planning but she made it seamless. The night of the event was absolutely perfect. From the chef's excellent main course of filet and shrimp, to the attentive and kind servers, bartenders and the dining room coordinator, it was a perfect evening. We are grateful to the entire staff at the Marriott for a making it a beautiful weekend!

Delray Beach Marriott gave my husband and I the wedding of a lifetime! Everything from planning to the actually reception party has been so easy and professional. The hotel is gorgeous and the even coordinator, Brittnee McGrath, made planning and organizing so easy for us! She did an astounding job in communicating with me, which was difficult as it is because I live in Georgia and had to plan long distance. I was only able to visit the venue two or three times the year I was planning and Brittnee really worked with me in between visits to make planning this important event so much less stressful. Brittnee was so patient and informative whenever I was unsure or needed advice. The week/day of we had some issues with guests reservations for those guests who booked through different means or didn’t use our wedding code, and Brittnee made sure every one of our guest was included. During the wedding, the catering staff was so kind and helpful. If there was anything we needed they were on top of it and ready to go. Everyone was extremely professional and the overall set-up and execution was phenomenal. I heard from some guests that the cocktail hour rooms were a little hot, but I’m sure if someone had said something they would have been able to fix it. I had previously heard amazing things about Delray Beach Marriott and I’m happy to say I will add my own incredibly impressed and thankful thoughts and praise to the mix. Our wedding was so beautiful and I had a great time planning it and partying during it thanks to the amazing staff at Delray Beach Marriott.

Our March 23, 2018 wedding at the Delray Beach Marriott was absolutely amazing. We worked with Brittnee at the Marriott and she was AWESOME! Brittnee is super organized and was always available for us to ask questions. She made our day run smoothly and we couldn't be more thankful. The venue itself is absolutely stunning as well. Our ceremony was in the courtyard in the center of the hotel, cocktail hour was on the terrace by the pool, and our reception was in the larger ballroom- all PERFECT! I can't explain how pleased we were with the entire Marriott team and we 100% recommend this venue and the team to anyone who asks!

We cannot speak highly enough of The Delray Beach Marriott and its' staff, especially Brittnee Monti. This was only the second (and last) venue we visited because we knew we had found the best location right away. Brittnee was extremely responsive throughout our 16 month planning period, almost always responding to e-mails within an hour. She and the rest of the staff at The Delray Beach Marriott were always so friendly, professional, and accommodating (especially for the Kosher meals we requested). Everything ran smoothly the weekend of our wedding, and we received so many compliments regarding the beauty and elegance of the venue. My bridal party and I got ready in the Island Breeze Suite, staff members escorted us around the hotel anywhere we wanted pictures, and they even transformed our centerpieces for the Farewell Brunch we had at the hotel the next day. Best venue ever!!

Brittnee was our wedding coordinator and she was absolutely amazing! We planned our whole wedding from Michigan and she was very accommodating through out the whole process. When ever i called her or sent an email, i got a response within 20 minutes. The week of the wedding we checked into the hotel and she surprised us by getting us the presidential suite an extra night. She is super organized. The hotel is just beautiful, by far the best venue for a wedding.

WARNING!!! All the wonderful staff mentioned in previous comments no longer work there!!!!!The venue is beautiful and the food was great but unless you hire your OWN wedding coordinator, DO NOT USE THEIR WEDDING COORDINATORS!!!! I expected some things to go wrong, but I do not even know where to begin with the amount of things that should not have happened. Let me begin with the breach of contract...We specifically requested the wireless lapel microphone and we were assured we would receive it, because it was included in our wedding package. About 20 minutes before the ceremony, Britney tells my Groom that the microphone was unavailable and she asked our officiant behind our back if he needed it and she told us he said no, so she sent the guy home that had the mic. It was never his call and she waited until there was nothing else we could do about it to tell us!!! People sitting in the back couldn't hear us during our ceremony and it RUINED my wedding video! I can't hear my husbands vows, but that is not my videographers fault when they were told we would have a microphone, otherwise they would have had a different set up!!! My groom had to request for a gift table to be set up, because people had no place to put their gifts and she didn't bother at first \"because usually there aren't that many gifts for destination weddings and I had too much stuff on my guest book table\". They waited until last minute to set up the ceremony space and put chairs so far to the right guests couldn't see us from that side. I literally drew a map of the ballroom for the table set up and she managed to mess that up too and blamed it on the florist. She was going to let MY FAMILY SIT IN THE BACK of the ballroom, thank goodness my MIL saw the mistake and fixed it before introductions. She rushed us so much, she wouldn't even let me bustle my dress before introduction. And when I tried to talk to the wedding party before introduction she shushed us!!! She was so rude. It was our special day, but she was so concerned about being on time, so she could go home! Also, they used a broken chair I got caught on during table visits and it ripped the front of my $2000 Alfred Angelo gown!!! They threw away half of my decor although I was promised they would save everything I requested to have saved. We just found out they lost more than one of our Wedding presents, we were supposed to have a plate of hors d'oeurves, but we never saw that and Britney called my GROOM all day about crap going wrong and stressed him out so much, he couldn't even enjoy his time before the ceremony. I also asked her to pin corsages to my grandparents and when she walked up to the wrong people and I tried to get her attention she just looked at me and kept doing what I was calling for her not to do. I wasn't going to leave a negative review, but after I got the wedding video back and knowing that it is her fault for ruining it and just finding out that there is another present that they \"lost\

We looked at many venues in the South Florida area - from West Palm, down to Miami Beach. The Delray Beach Marriott was, by far, the best quality and value. The hotel overlooks the beach, and has wonderful spaces for photos and weekend events. We held all three events at the hotel: the rehearsal dinner was in one of the smaller ballrooms, the wedding in the large Seacrest Ballroom, and the brunch was outside by the south pool. \rThe amenities at the hotel were wonderful - both bride and groom & families stayed there the full weekend. The location is perfect for those of us that wanted to continue the party at a bar down Atlantic Avenue. \rSonja was our event planner, and she was absolutely fabulous! We loved working with her.

The hotel is beautiful and is located right next to the beach. The guests will love staying there because everything is walking distance. The ballroom was perfect for the amount of guests we had and I love the lighting. The atrium where we got married gave rustic feel and looked phenomenal with all the flowers. The food was great and everything the hotel provided was perfect. Angie who is the event coordinator was amazing and did her job with such ease.

The location is perfection, especially if you have a lot of out of town guests - it's within walking distance of the beach, and tons of food and nightlife. Tami, our event coordinator, was wonderful at making the day easy for me. She made everything so easy so that I could relax and just enjoy my day. I cannot recommend this venue enough!

From start to finish, Tami Vickery and her staff at the Delray Beach Marriott were amazing. I had my reception herein April 2013. The food and service was about what you would expect from a hotel, but the location is awesome with terrific views of the beach! Special props to our wedding coordinator that did a great job staying on top of everything and communicating with our vendors!

Our wedding was perfect! We couldn't have asked for anything more. Angie Smythe was our wedding coordinator and she was fantastic!! I would recommend the Delray Beach Marriott to anyone and would definitely tell them to contact Angie. It was a pleasure working wit her!!

The Delray Marriott was an excellent wedding venue. We worked with Jill, who could not have been better. She was so hopeful and was just amazing. The service was great, the food great. Everything turned out even better than I could have imagined!

We booked the 2 bedroom presidential suite for the weekend of my wedding. While we did not have our wedding at the Marriott, we chose the hotel for ourselves and for our guests.\r\rThe Marriott was accommodating as far as getting us a wedding room block set up especially during a busy weekend close to their high season.\r\rThe 2 bedroom suite was amazing (but definitely pricey). I can't say enough about the view and the balcony/patio. It was very nice to have all the extra space the 2 bedroom suite provided when getting ready for the wedding (hair/makeup/lunch/etc...)\r\rThe bellmen were also very quick and helpful as well in regards to getting all of our bags in and out of the suite.\r\rIf I had to have any complaints, I'd say that at the rate we paid for the suite, it would have been nice to have somethings included in the price (although we did have valet included) such as breakfast. But overall, it was a nice stay. They were able to accommodate both early check in (which we didn't end up using) as well as late checkout (which definitely helped).

I do not know where to start on how Delray Beach Marriott made my wedding day perfect!! Every thing went smoothly. I still have my guests talking about the cocktail hour and how the food was absolutely delicious. Many compliments on the mozzarella station, shrimp cocktail, lamb station, and cheese station... I could keep going on! Not only was the food extremely delicious but Tammy Vickery, the Senior Event Mgr- did a superb job!! She is very organized and on top of everything. I felt so calm before my wedding b/c I knew every little detail has been taking care of. Tami is amazing and she makes sure that everything will run smoothly. Delray Beach Marriott is highly recommended by me, the food and venue was 100% delightful!!

Our coordiantor was Angie Smyth. She was AMAZING!!!! Angie seriously made every accomadation we asked for. The food was great, banquet servers, and bartenders were also very good :) I also had my rehearsal dinner on the deck. All of my guests were talking about how wonderful it was .... Things we discussed were issues with being executed: upgrades, blocking rooms, offering upgrades per past discussions, delivery of welcome baskets to guests, charging for services that were never used. If you use this hotel, expect happy guests, but please look at your bill and contracts very carefully.
