They ruined our wedding. If you are planning on having your wedding here, please read this. We spent a year and a half planning and it was ruined in one night. In the lead-up to the wedding, they had three different wedding coordinators, the reason being that they kept quitting the company. We were never told that they quit; we found out because every time we had an appointment with the coordinator, there was always a new one. Also, every time there was a new coordinator, we had to explain our plans from the beginning. The third coordinator we met the week of our wedding the company never bothered to notify us about the coordinator's quitting, and she didn't even know about our rehearsal dinner that was planned that Friday. Day of the wedding No coordination was made when guests walked in, so they didn't know to go outside for the wedding, so they had to figure it out. Fast forward; the ceremony was great. After the ceremony, it all went downhill. No one directed the guests to the tables outside for them to sit at, so everyone went in the reception room and sat down, even though we told them to block off that room. There were supposed to be golf carts at the golf course to take us out to the field to take pictures, but there weren't, and we waited 40+ minutes for the golf carts to arrive. During the 40-minute wait, our wedding coordinator disappeared. We had three people looking for her, and no one could find her for a whole hour. I had to get one of the bar tenders to help me with the golf cart situation. On top of that, for some reason, the waiters started bringing out our cupcakes that we had brought when we cut the cake. After all was done, we were gone for almost 2 hours to do our pictures, thanks to the golf cart situation. When we got back, we found out that they ran out of appetizers. We found out that they didn't cook enough; the appetizers that were cooked were overcooked and tasted plain. At this point, people were starving. We finally got our food, and the food was also bad. Our steaks were supposed to be medium well, and they were crispy burnt on the outside and bloody raw on the inside. They were also small (4oz.). The risotto we served came out looking like oatmeal, and no one knew what it was. It tasted as plain as it looked. The bruschetta chicken was our second choice; it was completely overcooked and dry; it was missing the balsamic glaze; and it was also small and thin. At this point, no one ate the food. We had people get up and leave our wedding because they were starving; by the time we got to the cake, more than half were gone. Speaking of the cake, they never even cut it, so that night we took the whole thing home with us. We found out that the cook who made our food for the wedding was not the same as the cook who cooked for us for our tasting; that cook had quit. Also, what was shown at the tasting was nowhere near the same quality, size, or display that we got. Three days later, we sat down and talked to the GM. He said he would remove the cost of alcohol from our bill since we were paying for the alcohol after the wedding, and he also said he was going to give us back 25% of what we had paid. Overall, we spent about $10,000, and over half of that was just food. When we got the check, we found out they still charged us for the alcohol and only gave us 19% back. We talked to the GM again, and he went back on his word and refused to remove the alcohol bill like he said he would. Reviewed on 12-06-2023

I received so many compliments on how beautiful my wedding was and the only thing I did was centerpieces. I think the view overlooking the golf course played a huge role in that. The food was very good and everyone had a great time. Reviewed on 20-09-2016
