Wedding Date 21-09-2020
The staff at the Origin Hotel Red Rocks were simply fantastic. They were pleasant and accommodating. We did run into a number of issues with the wedding block that we booked; however, the issues were technical in nature (website wouldn't load, site stated rooms were unavailable, etc..). We did have to call a few more times than we would have liked to have the issues resolved, but the team at Origin handled our issues with ease. I would highly recommend this hotel due to its location and ammenities.

The staff at the Origin Hotel Red Rocks were simply fantastic. They were pleasant and accommodating. We did run into a number of issues with the wedding block that we booked; however, the issues were technical in nature (website wouldn't load, site stated rooms were unavailable, etc..). We did have to call a few more times than we would have liked to have the issues resolved, but the team at Origin handled our issues with ease. We ended up NOT booking a room block here. We were originally quoted a group rate of $289/night in August, but the salesperson I was working with left the company by the time I reached back out to book in November. I attempted to get in touch with the sales team for 2.5 months through email, going in person, calling both the hotel and corporate and when we FINALLY got the rates mid-January, they were $100 more per night than I was quoted. Again, I didn't book, but I would be concerned how timely their responses would be if you do choose to book here.

🚨CALLING ALL BRIDES GETTING MARRIED NEAR MORRISON OR GOLDEN - strongly recommend NOT getting a hotel block with Origin Red Rocks Hotel.The week before our wedding hotel block cut off date, we reached out to the hotel to confirm the status of our block and see where the reservations were landing. We signed a contract where we needed to reserve X number of rooms or we’d be liable for the difference so we were making sure we weren’t falling behind and guests were still needing to book rooms at that point. We received an email from them saying we were all set on our block of rooms so we started directing guests to another hotel. Fast forward to the week of our wedding, we get an email from them saying we owe them $2,000 in damages to the hotel for not meeting our minimum number of rooms in the block. We were shocked by this news and they have failed to try to make anything right and recognize their miscommunication to us. We asked for rooms upgrades or even just giving us a key to one of the extra rooms for extra family but they wouldn’t do anything… If we had known we were under the number of rooms, we would have guided our guests to book there or at least paid for the rooms ourselves... Now we’re left to pay them for rooms that we didn’t even use AND they resold the rooms to the general public.So disappointing for us as the couple and our families who have chosen to stay at their hotel. Really would recommend my brides to avoid the headache and stress of working with the Origin 😞
