Otter Creek Farm Reviews
Meagan Fountain(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 02-11-2019 My husband and I were not to sure about spending the money on this venue at first, but we are so glad we did! Otter Creek is gorgeous and the staff is fantastic. The day was nothing short of the beautiful dream I always imagined it would be and a huge part of that included this venue. Reviewed on 16-11-2019
Kathy Gross(parent)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 29-07-2017 My husband attended a corporate dinner hosted by Frank and Jane Brown, at Otter Creek Farm and came home describing it as a \"Majestic Oasis.\" My daughter had recently gotten engaged and we were looking for a wedding venue. I called Jane and asked her if they had considered hosting weddings and she told me that they had discussed it and that she would talk to Frank. A day later, I received a call from Jane inviting us out for a tour.We were in absolute awe of the beautiful foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, ponds, and rolling-meadows as we drove into the entrance. We were promptly welcomed, by their precious rescue dog, “Le Roy Brown”, who serves as the unofficial concierge of the property. The lodge, game room, locker room with kennels, barn, and bunkhouse were meticulously designed and decorated by the Brown’s. We knew immediately that we had found the perfect location for Stephanie and Jeremy’s wedding. The Brown's had an unbelievable schedule and were booked at a 100% capacity during hunting season, but they were never too busy to promptly respond to questions I had as we were planning. The venue was in spectacular form the weekend of the wedding. Stephanie and her bridesmaids stayed in the “Bunk House” Friday night and on Saturday, enjoyed having their hair and make-up done, after being served a delicious Bridesmaids Brunch prepared by Jane and hosted by friends. We chose to have our Rehearsal Dinner in the “Grand Room” which is equipped with a “state of the art” commercial kitchen and sound system. Words cannot describe the beauty and details of the “Grand Room.” The chandeliers and lighting, “custom built” tables, beautifully decorated veranda overlooking the infinity pool, with its waterfalls, all are breathtaking. The “Grand Room” has a Bride’s Suite that is exquisitely decorated and allowed privacy for Stephanie and her bridesmaids to savor the anticipation of the wedding in an intimate setting. It also allowed me to spend some precious time with my baby girl before her walk down the aisle with Daddy. The wedding day on July 29, 2017 was a glorious day blessed by God. We had unseasonably cool weather and a majestic sunset as the service was coming to an end. We feel so honored and blessed that Stephanie and Jeremy were able to have the First wedding at Otter Creek Farm. Frank and Jane Brown are a charming couple and entertain with perfection. They were wonderful to work with and helped make Stephanie and Jeremy’s dream wedding a reality. Reviewed on 17-08-2018

I searched and searched for a wedding venue, but nothing seemed to be what my (now husband) and I wanted. We went to take a look at Otter Creek a few months before our wedding and as soon as we arrived we knew we were having our wedding there! EVERYTHING about this place is beautiful. The stables, cabins, scenery, barn, etc. was absolutely perfect. Not only is everything beautiful, but the owners were absolutely fantastic and made our rehearsal dinner and wedding day flawless and stress-free. That is saying A LOT coming from a worrier like me! My husband and his groomsmen stayed the night in the rooms above the stables and also had a game room to play in before the wedding and a fire pit to sit in the night before! The fire pit was a huge hit at our rehearsal dinner and the wedding. My bridesmaids and I also stayed in a beautiful cabin on the venue, along with having brunch prepared for us the next day! (I'm not talking just eggs and bacon) it was delicious home cooked food with a beautiful set up for our pictures in our \"getting ready robes\" as well. We did not have to provide any tables/chairs for the reception. We had a wedding with over 350 people and there was enough room for everyone to sit and eat comfortably. It was a literal fairytale from the start of the rehearsal dinner to the end of the night! I would recommend this place to any couple who wants a stress-free, beautiful, PERFECT wedding day!!! Jan Gilmer(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 05-10-2019 As a Wedding Planner, Floral Designer, Cake Designer and Baker, venue choices are important to me as they are to the bride and groom. At Otter Creek you have the very best of everything. The grounds are well kept, the outdoor scenery is awesome, and the ceremony site is beautiful. The indoor reception site, better known as “The Grand Room” is first class. It works extremely well for my decorating and floral designs and is very adaptable for all types of catering. I have done quiet a few weddings at this venue which has accommodated 150 guests to up to 450 per event comfortably and if the rain decides to show up there’s a Plan B.The owners, Frank and Jane Brown are great to work with and Otter Creek is one of my favorite venues for weddings.Did I mention my brides...they are the VERY BEST!! Sydney Ernst(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 09-06-2018 What an amazing place! And what amazing people! Jane & Frank Brown are absolutely the sweetest people who made our dream come true at Otter Creek Farm! The couple may be pretty new to the wedding scene, but boy do they know what they’re doing! They were always there for any questions I had and made everything I wanted happen. They made the whole process so easy and stress free for me and are a couple whom Hunter and I admire and wish we could just go hang out with all the time! So many things they did for me come to mind, but one sticks out the most — When we all went into the grand room for the reception it started pouring rain...we realized my guest book was still out there and sweet Jane ran outside and got it and used a blow dryer to dry it and placed a paper towel in between each page to try and salvage it, such a precious thing she did and I will be forever grateful!! They treated us like family and we couldn’t have asked for more. Otter Creek Farm was the PERFECT place for us and I wouldn’t have changed a thing! Reviewed on 23-07-2018
