The person we worked with was great, helpful, clear with everything, creative, and helpful. We really appreciated all they did. Food was a little expensive, but overall it was an affordable and beautiful wedding venue.

Overall our wedding was amazing. All the staff is very kind and helpful. I didn't give it a 5 star just cause communication was alot of back and forth through email and sometimes I felt like I was the worker and not a bride.

We had our wedding reception at the Owensboro Convention Center and it was amazing!! All of my guests were blown away by whole facility and especially the food! My husband and I could not be happier with how everything turned out. The whole staff clearly understands how insanely important a wedding day is to a bride and will go the extra mile to make sure it all goes well. Since they're full service, they handled a LOT more of the food, beverage, and set up/clean up that would normally be a huge strain on an engaged couple. It's nice to be able to sit back and actually enjoy the evening instead of worrying about little things before and during the wedding reception. Thank you for making our day so special!!

We had our wedding reception at the Owensboro Convention Center and it was amazing!! All of my guests were blown away by whole facility and especially the food! The Owensboro Convention Center is absolutely beautiful, but unfortunately the management leaves an awful, repugnant taste in your mouth. Dealing with them is an ordeal (the general manager even called me a liar). The food was fantastic so props to the chef, but if you want a riverfront wedding in Owensboro, KY, I would choose the River Park Center instead. It's a little outdated with all that green (just pay to wrap those columns with fabric), but I wished a hundred times that I would have chosen them. You can still get all the beautiful park pictures and the fountain is actually a little closer. \r\rThe person who left the positive review probably dealt with Jamie Johnson, but she left November 2014. Now Kate Douglas is the contact (she's who I dealt with). If she still works there when you are considering this venue, RUN! It will be just one big hassle (she's very inexperienced and extremely UNRESPONSIVE).

The Owensboro Convention Center was a great location for my wedding reception! The staff was very helpful through the entire planning process and the venue is beautiful. They do require you to use their onsite catering but to have a cheaper per person food price steer clear of the \"wedding packages\"
