Throughout the 2 years of our engagement, we had 4 different coordinators through Par 5. The first 3 were not helpful at all, but once Kesha came into the picture 6 months prior, everything was SO much better. I cannot say enough about Kesha to get our point across. She was nothing short of amazing and was such a huge help. Very responsive and the best communicator out of all of them. Aside from having so many people that we went through, we were also never informed that the coordinators were no longer with Par 5. We went weeks without responses before we would finally hear back that the old coordinators were no longer with them and that \"so and so\" was taking over. The food was great and we have no complaints about that. They were able to work with us and give us exactly what we wanted even though it was not on the menu of their typical wedding food. We were there for rehearsal the day prior, and it was very uncoordinated. Felt very unorganized, mainly because we were the ones trying to run it ourselves. Kesha was not there to help us, it was someone else that didn't seem to know exactly what was going on. Upon arriving in the ballroom to decorate Friday afternoon, about half of the room was set up according to how the map that I was given. There were extra tables that weren't supposed to be there which made it look like we had too little decor to cover everything. The arch was not on the golf course to be able to decorate until phone calls were made to Kesha, so that was also frustrating. On Saturday for our actual wedding, we were 4 tables short. We had less guests there that we had actually planned for, so there was simply not enough tables set up. This made our DJ and photographer, as well as some of our guests, not have a spot to sit. Kesha did great scrambling to try to get this problem resolved. We really can't thank Kesha enough for what she did for us and she truly made our day so much smoother despite all the hiccups. The space was clean when arrived to decorate. Only issue I have was when got there to pack up decorations they had touched and packed almost everything up. Made a mess of my aisle runner and not the way I had planned to pack my items up neatly... Reviewed on 11-09-2023
Ann Bergschultz(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 09-10-2020 We needed to postpone our wedding from April to October due to the pandemic. We were blessed with great weather so our ceremony was outside. Everything was set up exactly as promised. My husband arranged for Bernie Brewer to visit during our cocktail hour. Stephanie was very instrumental in execution. The waitstaff was very attentive to our needs. We received many compliments on the foods from our guests. Both bartenders were great. When we started our planning we had Heather as our planner, but she decided to leave the company 4 months before our wedding. Once Stephanie was assigned to our wedding, we set up meetings with Stephanie to ensure that our vision wasn't lost. Stephanie was quick on responding to any email. Reviewed on 03-11-2020
Tasha Motto(maid of honor)1 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 17-10-2020 So I am a full time wedding planner so I've been in the industry for many years. My sister got married here last weekend and the entire process was a disaster. The planning was frustrating with all the turn over. The couple was never kept updated with who they would be working with. The day of we had Stephanie. She was nice and polite but useless. There was a larger wedding the same day and that wedding got the entire support of the venue. She was present for the rehearsal but did nothing but stand in the back. No help. The day of the wedding was a mess. The ballroom was disgusting. I asked her multiple times to steam the linens (she did for the other wedding) which she never did. The linens were so dirty and stained. We asked for new ones multiple times but she told us they had no more on site so we got the dirty ones. I couldn't eve get the carpet to be vacuumed. The entire staff was a joke. Typically a venue coordinator would be on-site to help with some minor setup, tell the couples when to walk for the ceremony, and be there to run dinner service. Nope! We were left completely alone. The decor/linens for the ceremony were blowing into the water and when I asked her for help the response was \"we don't do that here\". The food was awful. The bride had to yell at the staff serving the head table because she kept giving us the wrong food. The food we did get was disappointing. 100% different from the tasting which was good. The cake was supposed to be placed on the dessert table and instead the girls were passing slices to the tables so guests couldn't even request a flavor. I stopped the girls and explained this was incorrect but they just kept doing it. The entire reception we were left with no staff to help with anything except one bartender who kept getting pulled away to help with the other wedding. So there were multiple times guests would be in line at the bar with no staff anywhere in site. It was a complete joke and I will never recommend this venue to another couple. Stay far away. You get what you pay for and even that isn't worth it here. Reviewed on 22-10-2020

Karen Kline(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 17-08-2019 I recently had my wedding at Fox Hills and I do not regret one thing! The whole day ran smooth thanks to Fox Hills; from our outdoor ceremony, to the cocktail hour, to our dinner, everything was perfect! Heather and her team were very organized and helped in anyways that we needed them. They took care of setting everything up as well as taking it all down that night! Our food was great and we heard nothing but positive comments from our guest. If I had to do it all again, I would choose Fox Hills! Reviewed on 27-08-2019

Carly S(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 26-05-2019 Fox Hills is a beautiful venue. We had our wedding at the Summerhouse. Part of the reason we chose Fox Hills was because of the simplicity of how they present their package. They give you one price per head, which includes everything such as alcohol. I was disappointed that their adult price includes everyone over 12. So we had to pay the same price for those under 21, who can't drink, as those over 21. Same price for the vendors as well. The staff was very helpful and available to answer all questions. Our day of coordinator was amazing. It ended up raining and we weren't able to have our ceremony outside. He handled everything, getting soaked to help us get set up. Reviewed on 19-07-2019

Tayla Tetzlaff(bride)3 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 10-09-2016 Overall I love the crystal room that we had our wedding reception at. I have no complaints on food, service, or anything. Everything we heard from our guests was compliments to Fox Hills. The reason I gave them a 3 star review was because the dance floor was sticky. And cleaning up the next morning (getting our decorations out) it looked like the floor still had not been mopped for the next event that was being held there. Also, the doors to the hall were not locked. And when we sat down for dinner, there were pieces of paper put under our plates with very disgusting quotes/phrases written on the paper. It was written on fox hills stationary, and we know that it wasn't any of our group, because myself and the groom were the first ones in there that day. I was not happy. So, if you have your reception here, tell them that the doors need to be locked! Reviewed on 05-10-2016
Kelsey Brick(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 26-09-2015 Most venues have hidden costs or charge you for little things like cake cutting or using the projector and microphone. Fox Hills is not one of those vendors! They didn't have an extra charge for anything besides beverages, food, and Up lighting. It was also nice that we didn't need to have a licensed baker for the wedding cake. The coordinator we worked with, Heather was very helpful and made sure everything was exactly how I wanted! The food was also great but some of the tables didn't get all the food (we had family style) but that is my only negative experience with this vendor. Reviewed on 27-10-2015
Lauren Schultz(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 03-10-2015 My husband and I hosted our rehearsal dinner (30 people), wedding reception (150 people), and Sunday morning brunch (100 people) at Fox Hills Resort, and we were so happy with how everything turned out. The wedding coordinator, Diane, had a huge part in the success of the weekend. She's a seasoned planner who is a pleasure to work with - she's very responsive and had great recommendations throughout the planning process. She also kept the behind the scenes running that resulted in a flawless execution. Another thing we liked about Fox Hills was the flexibility they allowed with vendors. Since there were so few restrictions, we were able to use Pick N Save for our flowers and cake and we skipped the DJ in favor of Spotify, which saved us a ton of money. In general our wedding reception was a great value - the food, booze, space rental and service charge pricing at Fox Hills were the best we found in our search (although, for reference, we are from Milwaukee and were comparing pricing to our local venues). All in all, we highly recommend Fox Hills Resort! Reviewed on 21-10-2015
Beth Bauknecht(bride)3 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 20-10-2012 Everything went perfectly with the hall except 2 things. We ended up arriving a little late due to pictures taking up a lot of time and the representative said to me \"You better review the hall, or do you want the food to be bad?!\" which I found unprofessional because I'm sure the bridal party being a few minutes late isn't that uncommon (we were 15 minutes past the time we were supposed to arrive). The 2nd thing was they had security and I heard from several guests that they bullied them. They were rude to my parents and I thought it was unnecessary. Reviewed on 05-11-2012
