Situated in Santa Rosa, CA, Paradise Ridge Winery is a scenic wedding venue that boasts 156 acres of natural beauty. This rustic getaway is nestled in the heart of Sonoma County, boasting views of the stunning Russian River Valley. Its picturesque vineyards and romantic atmosphere are bound to delight you and your loved ones. Fine wine, milestone memories, and wholesome fun are par for the course at this Golden State gem.
Paradise Ridge Winery has been welcoming soon-to-be newlyweds and wine enthusiasts for decades. Walter and Marijke, the original owners, became inspired to start a vineyard after falling in love with the Californian wine country. They discovered Paradise Ridge in 1978, and it has been a staple of the area ever since. Its charm lies in its beautiful outdoor spaces, perfect couples who desire a countryside celebration. Couples can exchange their vows at the intimate ceremony area before enjoying a photoshoot in the vineyards. The venue also features an indoor space that can be used for dinners and wine tastings.
At Paradise Ridge Winery, the team will work diligently to make your once-in-a-lifetime occasion a truly memorable one. It can accommodate up to 200 of your nearest and dearest. You can enjoy every stage of your wedding here, from your rehearsal dinner to your reception. As a welcoming venue, the vineyard can set the scene for a variety of wedding types, including religious, secular, and interfaith. In addition to weddings, it can host business events and other social celebrations.
Kim Geiger(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 07-11-2018 The venue speaks for itself, as do the wines. Paradise Ridge is a magical space to have a wedding. Ours was 150 people in April, and we used the outdoor space for the ceremony, the space outside the tasting room and the big deck for the cocktail hour, the upstairs space for the dinner and the tasting room for dancing. Having so many different spaces really breaks up the day and each space is so beautiful in its own way. Martha is a joy to work with, the wines are delicious and reasonably priced. And the views. LOVE. Reviewed on 07-09-2017

The venue, the view and the vineyard was a spectacular site to see! Everything was so beautiful! Martha (Wedding & Event Manager) was such a huge help whenever we had questions, and very accommodating when we had issues. She assisted us with solving any problems we ran across, and made sure we were taken care of. We highly recommend having a wedding at such a gorgeous venue!! Reviewed on 12-04-2017
Alisa Kearney(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 20-05-2016 Paradise Ridge was absolutely stunning and we are so glad we chose it for our wedding venue! We toured a lot of venues before selecting Paradise Ridge. Although it was a bit more costly than we had originally budgeted for our venue, it was absolutely worth the value. The pros:1) The reception/dancing can go into the night. Most Napa/Sonoma venues have a hard 10pm music cut-off time due to city noise ordinances. PRW allowed our reception to go until 1am, so we didn't feel the need to provide an after party. You pay overtime beyond midnight, but it's definitely worth it. 2) The scenery. Your photos will be amazing. The LOVE sign lit up at night is stunning. You also save on decor because the venue speaks for itself!3) One location for everything. You can have your first look and photos in the vineyards, a beautiful outdoor ceremony, cocktail hour on the veranda, and indoor reception in the ballroom. They even have an indoor space downstairs as a backup for the ceremony in case it rains on your big day (wedding tents are expensive!).4) Martha is so fun to work with. We are members now and love going back! The cons:1) Cost. We saved a bit by having a Friday wedding. But the exclusive vendors (although lovely) are kinda pricey. Definitely price out the exclusive caterers before booking if you're on a budget. 2) Some guests sit outside on the veranda for dinner if you have a large wedding. We had 144 guests, so 2 tables of guests were outside for dinner. It was beautiful, but on a May evening it was pretty chilly even with the heaters. In the summer this wouldn't be a problem at all. 3) Some firm rules/restrictions - but you'll find this with any winery venue. They are a winery by day so you can't have your rehearsal any old time...you have to work around their schedule and other weddings/events. Also, no throwing of anything or any fresh flower petals. We were allowed to have our puppy in the wedding though :) Reviewed on 09-08-2016
Lauren Birnbaum(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 10-07-2016 We've been members at Paradise for several years, and when it came time to plan our wedding, Paradise was the clear choice. The staff is wonderful to work with - patient, responsive, and extremely accommodating. It was not inexpensive, but it was completely worth it. The location really just can't be beat - I used minimal flowers and decor and just let the room, the view, and the surroundings speak for themselves. Cannot recommend having a wedding here enough. Kristine Rustad(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 30-04-2016 Beautiful venue with very pleasant staff and venue coordinator. The second we stepped into Paradise Ridge we knew it was where we want to get married. The view of the valley is spectacular and the venue itself is gorgeous and intimate. There is an outdoor patio area for the ceremony and a champagne cellar (in case of rain). The reception in the tasting room was beautiful with an outdoor/indoor bar and windows facing that stunning view. Reviewed on 13-05-2016

Cassandra Hoyt(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 21-09-2013 This venue is absolutely gorgeous and we both fell in love the first time we visited the winery. The Love statue is an awesome landmark and looks so nice in wedding photos. We planned on getting married outside in the courtyard but the morning of our wedding, it was raining like crazy! Martha, the event coordinator, called me in the morning to give me a couple options for moving the ceremony inside. She reassured me that everything would look great and that I would be pleased with the outcome. When I arrived, I couldn't have been any happier. She went above and beyond to make sure the new ceremony area looked gorgeous, there were candles lit and a beautiful fire blazing. After the ceremony was over, the rain stopped and the sun broke through which made for beautiful pictures. I wouldn't have changed anything about the day and was so happy with the venue and Martha. Patricia Souza(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 09-08-2013 We got married here August 2013. It is a beautiful location for a sunset wedding - I wanted to snap photos of the view during my own wedding!! We were bathed in warm golden sunlight during the ceremony and surrounded by rolling green hills and vineyards. In the evening the city lights shimmered in the background. My guests said it was breathtaking. Reviewed on 26-08-2013
Abby Mercure(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 27-04-2013 Paradise Ridge does a lot of weddings, and with good reason. It's a beautiful venue, with a gorgeous view overlooking a vineyard, and at night you can see the lights of Santa Rosa. They have a nice terrace for ceremonies and a champagne cellar if you happen to have bad weather, so you don't have to stress about rain options. We saved 25% by booking in April, as they have discounts for events between November and April. Everyone we worked with was reliable and helpful, and the event went very smoothly, with some gorgeous pictures to show for it. The one thing to know is that you're a little limited with caterers and DJs -- you have to choose off of Paradise Ridge's list. We found great vendors off their list, but at the same time, it does lock you in to their options unless you want to spend more money -- so there are a few costs you'll have fewer options around. But working with vendors that have worked at the venue before worked out really well for us, the photographer, caterer and DJ all knew Paradise Ridge really well, making for a seamless experience day of. Plus, unlike a lot of wineries, you're really close by hotels and other amenities, not out in the middle of nowhere, which is a big benefit to your guests. Very happy with our choice!
