I had my wedding ceremony and reception at Parkway Place, and it was the perfect venue! Alicia at Parkway was a total professional and kept all details of my day in order. She was extremely helpful with her recommendations, and was so kind and easy to work with! The staff at Parkway do everything for you - setup, teardown, ceremony coordination, etc. As an event planner myself, it was a total relief knowing that Parkway would handle every detail of my day, and I had nothing to worry about. It’s also a beautiful venue that can seat large groups comfortably. I highly recommend anyone considering this venue to check it out - it’s completely worth it!

We were married on NYE 12-31-22. I am a very particular person and was more than impressed with the service, decor, and friendliness of the staff! Our original coordinator took ill within a week of our wedding. God gave us BREANNA whom EVERYONE LOVED! We couldn’t have chosen a better person! She was beyond accommodating, friendly, upbeat and positive! It was well worth the money spent! I would re-book at the Parkway Plaza again! What an awesome experience!

This venue is very pretty and we loved having the option to use the larger or smaller ballrooms (based on guest count). We planned on using the Mt Vernon room due to having about 130 guests, however we found out our photo booth we had booked would not fit. Our coordinator Breanna called to make sure we were okay with moving our wedding to the larger main ballroom (same price). It was so nice not having to worry about how we would fit everything and that they had already figured it out for us! All the staff was friendly, our food and alcohol was delicious and we were able to come set up the day before. I highly recommend this venue for any event you may need!

Our daughter's wedding was held at Parkway Place on June 18, 2021 after a year postponement due to the pandemic. We could not have asked for a more beautiful setting and a more dedicated, attentive staff as those we had at Parkway. Working with Parkway for two years was seamless and the communication in reference to pandemic state/national guidelines were welcome. We worked with Cindy who paid attention to so many of our wants/details. We highly recommend her expertise and care. It truly was more than we ever hoped for our daughter and we highly recommend Parkway Place for any of your meetings/wedding needs.

We had our wedding reception here and we are so happy with how everything turned out. We used the main ballroom which I loved the layout so much! It was very open and has a nice big dance floor. The staff did a great job and the food was very tasty! We had to reschedule our wedding due to covid and the staff was very understanding and worked with us no problem. The manager Elizabeth and event coordinator Cindy were both a great help! I appreciate how responsive they were through the whole wedding planning process. We got so many compliments about how beautiful and nice our reception was! I recommend this hall!

We loved our wedding reception and everyone who helped make it amazing at Parkway! The place was beautifully decorated, the staff was so polite and the food was amazing! They even did extra little things like a fresh plate of appetizers in the bridal suite when the wedding party arrived and frequent check ins to make sure everything was going well. I can’t recommend them enough!

Parkway Place was the best reception hall ever. They made my dream come to life. The staff was amazing and very prompt. The coordinators took care of scheduling my vendors drop off time and cleaned and packed all my items after the reception. The food was amazing and hot. Bartenders were very knowledgeable and quick. The coordinators were fantastic and always available to answer our questions. The best was our first dance under the twinkle lights on the dance floor with all our guest surrounding the dance floor. Parkway is truly amazing and will make your wedding \"the best day ever\".

My entire experience with Parkway was incredible: beginning to end! The coordinators were always prompt, punctual and thorough throughout all of our communicating/meeting. They were so easy to work with and so helpful bringing my vision to life. They even gave incredible vendor recommendations for DJ’s, floral arrangements, lightings, etc and all of the additional vendors I chose were outstanding! Those recommendations took so much off my plate as a bride as it eliminated hours of searching and guided me in the right direction toward some of Toledo’s best wedding vendors. I had both my rehearsal dinner and reception at Parkway. The food is incredible, the wait staff/bartenders were so kind and helpful and worked so quickly to accommodate and serve all my guests. Everyone loved the food and complimented the staff, cleanliness, and organization of the entire venue. Both ballrooms are beautiful and have so many additional components that can be added through them (Parkway) or accommodated with other vendors. Unlike many other reception venues, Parkway provides nearly everything - from linens, to chair covers, to a huge array of napkin/chair bow colors, to lighting options, a huge menu, etc. They invite the bride and groom to a sit down dinner prior to the big day to try the food and see all table/decor options in person to personalize your event! It was amazing! I have recommended this venue to so many friends and family because it was such an amazing experience and I’m so thankful for the entire staff for making my dreams and vision a reality. Please, look no further than Parkway Place for any event! They are the best!

Very organized, extremely professional, and genuinely willing to help. They took care of almost everything for me, including reaching out to my private vendors and staying in contact with them. Their cake lady Paula did a phenomenal job and our DJ John (both through parkway) was superb! We set the standards for weddings amongst our family and friends. 10/10 would recommend to anyone and everyone getting married! Cindy and Tracy were our coordinators for the night and would highly suggest you request either one of them!

The dance floor in the middle was great, and the stage for the bridal party made the party stand above. We had two bars, which kept the lines flowing. I would recommend this venue to anyone!

Parkway Place was absolutely amazing. Elizabeth and Cindy executed everything perfectly! We had a change in our planner since our previous planner had left her job there. Cindy was assigned to us just a couple weeks before our big day, and while that undoubtedly made us nervous, she could not have done a better job! She was so calm, organized, and truly helped me relax and just enjoy our day! She made sure our ceremony was completed in a timely manner and helped keep the whole event on track according to our timeline. The parkway staff were so helpful in rearranging the space since we had our ceremony in the same space as our reception. It was absolute perfection and I couldn’t have imagined it going any better. Thank you Parkway!!!

Parkway was a true dream come true! I had my December wedding here in the mount Vernon room! From my initial commutation with Elizabeth and my final details with my coordinator Katie, everything went smooth. Elizabeth went out her way to ensure I had everything I needed, she went above and beyond to make my wedding day special! Once I meet Katie to go over my day of coordination she was just as great, very supportive and always offering ideas and advice. I got so many compliments on how beautiful everything turned out. The food was amazing, we chose the beef brisket and air fry chicken, we received many compliments on how wonderful food was. Staff was friendly, bar was great! Also we used in-house cake decorator Paula and she was theeee best! My cake was exactly what I wanted and the flavor was phenomenal! I could go on and on about the services Parkway provided, if your looking for a venue Parkway is the way to go!

From my initial commutation with Elizabeth and my final details with my coordinator Katie, everything went smooth. Elizabeth went out her way to ensure I had everything I needed, she went above and beyond to make my wedding day special! Once I meet Katie to go over my day of coordination she was just as great, very supportive and always offering ideas and advice. I got so many compliments on how beautiful everything turned out. The food was amazing, we chose the beef brisket and air fry chicken, we received many compliments on how wonderful food was. Staff was friendly, bar was great! Also we used in-house cake decorator Paula and she was theeee best! My cake was exactly what I wanted and the flavor was phenomenal! I could go on and on about the services Parkway provided, if your looking for a venue Parkway is the way to go!

From the moment I walked into this venue I knew I wanted to book it! It was like when you find the perfect dress, it just felt right! The staff was very friendly and accommodating through out the entire planning process. I was always able to get a hold of my coordinator Katie via email whenever needed. The problems started to occur the day before my wedding. Rehearsal was so stressful and I felt rushed the entire time. I also had a random coordinator that I had never met until that day! Katie my initial coordinator was there but was focusing more on the wedding in the main hall, which made me feel pushed aside. The day of my wedding everything was beautiful and couldn't have been better!! The cake was beautiful which I was made through the venue and the catering was efficient and delicious!! I'm still getting compliments till this day! Unfortunately my coordinator for the day was not aware I wanted floating candles, I just had vases with fake flowers in them, which I stayed up the night before my wedding anchoring down so they wouldn't float! We also had a few problems with dimming the lights because the coordinator was not familiar with them (Awkward). Although their were moments where I was disappointed my vision wasn't completely followed through with, I still loved my wedding day and was happy with the venue overall.

If I could do my wedding day over again I would choose parkway place again and again and again...We had the best experience. The staff is friendly, amazing, organized, patient, and easy to work with. They not only did everything to make my wedding planning experience easy and stress free. But they helped me turn my wedding day dreams into reality. The wedding reception flowed smoothly in a well organized manor that kept guests engaged and happy. The food was delicious, some of the best food I've ever eaten at a wedding. We received many favorable compliments. We also received many compliments from guests in regards to sound quality. Parkway place has a sound system designed around the center dance floor. Making the dance floor a hot spot filled with music, but also making conversations easy amongst the guests seated at their tables. The room in which our reception was held is spacious and comfortable. We hosted just under 300 guests. It is beautiful with a classy and elegant feel. It doesn't require a lot of additional decorations, only enough to give it your own personal flavor. I created most of my own additions, and was able to set them up myself (with plenty of help from the staff) at a comfortable time before the event. Afterwards the staff made tear down 100% stress free by tearing down and packaging all my personal touches and decorations. They only asked that we pick up the belongings early into the following week.Again, I cannot say enough how satisfied I was with the whole parkway place experience for our wedding day. And the number of compliments we received from family and friends was reassurance to how well the party went :)

We had an amazing wedding with Parkway Place. We used the Main Hall for our ceremony, Cocktail Hour in the Mt. Vernon room, and then had our reception back in the Main Hall. Elizabeth, our coordinator, was outstanding to work with. From the start, she provided us with ideas, options, and ways to do things in a cost effective manner. Her personality was a perfect match for us and she completely took our dreams and brought them to life. We owe her so much for making our special day absolutely amazing. The food was incredible. The chef plated beautiful meals that were served quickly to our 280 guests. Everyone raved about the food. It was just perfect. The wait staff was professional, friendly, and prompt. They did things just the way we wanted. Elizabeth rallied her staff and was able to flip the Main Hall from a ceremony to a reception, with a completely different look in just a very short time. We were amazed. Absolutely incredible. The cake, DJ, and lighting vendors were on site and part of our package. Our cake was unforgettable... gorgeous and so yummy. The lighting absolutely made the day. We had soft uplighting for the ceremony and a completely different look for the reception. The DJ played the music we wanted and knew how to keep the party going. He did not do too much talking and kept everyone on the dance floor! Hats off to Memorable Creations, DJ Pete, and Ambient Effects! Our guests have not stopped talking about how beautiful our event was, how great the food was, and how perfect the entire day was. The food was amazing (I'm still getting comments on how good it was), the open bar included in the price, as well as the coordinator. Look no further.. Parkway is the best around. \rMy husband and I had our reception at Parkway Place in May, and we could not have chosen a better venue for our reception! Let me start with our coordinator, Megan. She was so incredibly helpful. She genuinely cared about making our day the best it could be for us. Not only did she have wonderful recommendations, but was always available when needed. From providing us with samples and letting us come in any time to check things out, Megan truly went above and beyond to help make our day special. Megan was not the only amazing staff member at Parkway; We could not have been happier with how every encounter was, from the bar tenders to the waiters/waitresses. They were all great. \rNow on to the food.. It was so delicious and there were so many other delicious choices to have had. People would not stop talking about how great everything was. I love food and theirs was to die for. \rThe venue itself is so beautiful! All of our guests were highly inpressed and commented all night about how gorgeous of a reception hall Parkway is. Look no further.. Parkway is the best around. \rMy husband and I had our reception at Parkway Place in May, and we could not have chosen a better venue for our reception! Let me start with our coordinator, Megan. She was so incredibly helpful. She genuinely cared about making our day the best it could be for us. Not only did she have wonderful recommendations, but was always available when needed. From providing us with samples and letting us come in any time to check things out, Megan truly went above and beyond to help make our day special. Megan was not the only amazing staff member at Parkway; We could not have been happier with how every encounter was, from the bar tenders to the waiters/waitresses. They were all great. \rNow on to the food.. It was so delicious and there were so many other delicious choices to have had. People would not stop talking about how great everything was. I love food and theirs was to die for. \rThe venue itself is so beautiful! All of our guests were highly inpressed and commented all night about how gorgeous of a reception hall Parkway is. Their options for decor are endless, and again Megan was very helpful in this aspect. \rI would highly highly recommend Parkway Place for your wedding reception venue, or any other event for that matter. \r

The staff was wonderful at helping to keep details outlined with a timeline established to make us feel as if every second of our special day was accounted for and covered. Elizabeth and Rachael were wonderful to work with - easily accessible whenever needed and helpful when providing suggestions! I would recommend Parkway to anyone planning an event. The centrally located dance floor with plenty of room for tables circling helped make the environment so much more inviting for guests. There are so many venues in the Toledo area to choose from but Parkway was worth every penny! I received so many compliments on the great food and service - a big kudos goes out to the Parkway staff!!

This venue gives you access to a wedding coordinator. But make sure you get every detail on what she is there for because we were very disappointed. I had trouble getting into contact with her leading up to the wedding and the night of my reception she was nowhere to be found- they had assigned me an \"event manager\" that I never heard about beforehand. Even with this event manager I felt like I had to run everything myself- not something the bride should have to do when she has a coordinator that should be assisting! When I wrote to the head of the venue about my disappointments I never received an apology. Her responses to my concerns were defensive and she made me feel like it was our fault and she felt the need to \"clarify\" what we didn't understand. Her words were \"sometimes the coordination between the client and our staff can develop glitches\" and yet she never provided an apology to these \"glitches\" that occurred during my reception. So if you do choose to use them, make sure they \"clarify\" things with you up front so you know exactly what you're getting.

They were so accommodating and helpful throughout the entire planning process and the day of. The venue is so well-kept and the layout is fantastic. Our wedding at Parkway in August was absolutely perfect. The moment we walked in to the venue, we knew we had to have our wedding reception at Parkway Place. The staff, especially Megan, our event coordinator, gave us such a wonderful settling feeling throughout the entire planning process. She helped me with the littlest details any bride can imagine, and was always getting back to me quickly whenever I had a question. They were extremely flexible in accommodating our needs and gave us everything we wanted. Parkway is one of the most elaborate venues in town for a large wedding.

Parkway place did a phenomenal job of making the planning of our reception so easy that when it came down to the actual day, I was so relaxed & didn't have to worry about a thing. Our wedding coordinator, Mandy, was incredible. (You receive one when you book with them. They go with you from start to finish in getting everything organized). She was so easy to get into contact with, answered all of my questions (even the ones that seemed silly to me but I needed to know) and took care of so many little details which made my night SO fun and enjoyable. They even tear down your centerpieces and box up your stuff so that all you have to do is come and pick it up in the morning. We did a photo repeat banner and the staff was so great about letting us set it up. They even got us a tall ladder to use if we needed it. We didn't have everyone show to our reception so whatever food was leftover was boxed up and we took home the next day. The main room is so beautiful and perfect for weddings. I really could not have asked for better service. This very happy bride definitely recommends going with parkway--it's a no brainer if you want to actually enjoy your wedding night!!

For the alcohol all we had to do was go off their estimate which turned out to be very accurate and pay. They took care of the delivery, set up and take down. I could not have been happier with my experience of my reception at Parkway. The entire staff was wonderful, especially my planner Mandy! They take care of absolutely your every need, and the day of the wedding I was worry free. Our families didn't have to lift a finger, which was also equally important to us. The venue is gorgeous, and the food was amazing. Every guest I have spoken to said it is the best food they have ever had at a wedding! The service during the wedding by the wait staff also received a lot of compliments from my guests.. I didn't hear one negative thing about our reception! They accommodated special requests for certain guests and made sure that everything was taken care of as they night ended, with all gifts, centerpieces and leftovers boxed up and ready to go. I would highly recommend this to any couple who is looking for an elegant venue that allows your personal touch and for you to actually enjoy your special day without worrying about things getting taken care of.

I could not have been happier with my experience of my reception at Parkway. The entire staff was wonderful, especially my planner Mandy! They take care of absolutely your every need, and the day of the wedding I was worry free. Our families didn't have to lift a finger, which was also equally important to us. The venue is gorgeous, and the food was amazing. Every guest I have spoken to said it is the best food they have ever had at a wedding! The service during the wedding by the wait staff also received a lot of compliments from my guests.. I didn't hear one negative thing about our reception! They accommodated special requests for certain guests and made sure that everything was taken care of as they night ended, with all gifts, centerpieces and leftovers boxed up and ready to go. I would highly recommend this to any couple who is looking for an elegant venue that allows your personal touch and for you to actually enjoy your special day without worrying about things getting taken care of.

Parkway was the perfect place to work with! It all started when my husband and I first stopped by to take a look around. We were greeted, shown around, introduced to the DJ and had our questions answered. When we finalized our decision, we chose the Mt. Vernon Room for our 120 guests. Elizabeth in the office was wonderful with discussing the planning process and the different package options. We went with the Premier Package which included so much and was an amazing deal. Throughout the year of planning my mom and I would stop by to see samples, ask questions, or stop to preview the hall setup for that weekends event and the staff was always more than helpful! Our wedding coordinator, Danielle, was excellent to work with and answered all of our questions, worked with our requests, and used her experience to recommended great ideas. The night of the wedding was absolutely perfect. We did a sit down meal and the service was professional and timely. We went with steak medallions and chicken marsala and they were both delicious. The linens and chair covers were gorgeous and the bows were tied to perfection! The whole place was clean and well kept. DJ Pete did a great job with the music and was very open to the personal touches we added for introductions and first dances. I could not have asked for a better experience. Thanks Danielle and Elizabeth!!! \rThe only thing we came across was that the food we were interested in wasn’t at the large taste testing. We did have a wedding of about 110 people, so price would naturally be higher for larger parties. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding venue!

The staff went above and beyond the entire time I worked with them. There were two staff changes in the time before my wedding, but it never seemed like it. Each person who helped my husband and I did all they could to make the process stress-free. When we took concerns to them, they met our needs, sometimes giving us even more more than we expected. Also, they always got back to us quickly. We were never stuck wondering about a question. I loved that they were willing to put out our centerpieces; we just had to drop things off (which we were able to do a couple days before). Our coordinator, Mandy, also set up the table with our CDs (the gift to our guests) and our cake table (because there was miscommunication with the florist and baker). I didn't even know about the cake table until my husband said something. The hall (Mt. Vernon room) looked beautiful! We had table changes up to that morning and they moved things without complaint. When I arrived, I had to wait in another room for a bit until the ceremony started, and Mandy kept me at ease. We hired 2 bartenders for the night. Right after the ceremony, I only saw one and there was a line. Another bartender was there in minutes. That was the only hiccup that night. The food was delicious. Although my husband and I did not get any of the appetizers, everyone told us they loved the brie and shrimp. The staff kept offering to bring us some while we were taking pics, but we never took them up on it. One of our entrees was cubes of filet on an asparagus spear. It was so clever! We also had the broasted chicken, parmesan red skin potatoes, and key largo vegetable blend. The blue cheese sauce was not as rich as we wanted, but I was more than happy with the food (as was my husband who is a chef), and I heard all good reviews from my guests in the weeks after. We had our cake baked by the baker associated with them, Paula. She was great to work with, and her cake was so moist and tasty. We loved that we could choose a different flavor for each layer. It was hard choosing just 3, and neither of us are cake people. (She also includes a cake at your 1 year anniversary.) We also worked with one of the DJs associated with Parkway, Pete. He played music during and after the ceremony. He was great about taking requests and keeping things moving without anything seeming rushed (pictures, dances, speeches, etc.). After the bridal couple duties, I was on the dance floor most of the night. Things went smoothly the whole time. This was my second wedding, and I wish I had had half the service the first time as I did with Parkway. I honestly can not say enough good things about the place and the people. I also know that not many people will really tell you if there were things about your wedding that they weren't happy with, or thought went badly. However, the people in my life who would be honest, had the same things to say. Parkway was a big hit with everyone. I will say, when my husband and I first checked it out, the price per person was a little higher than I thought we would spend. We really liked the hall, but we also loved that a personal cooridinator and a lot of extras were included. The little extra cost was completely worth it. Mandy, Elizabeth, Kathy (?), the chef, and the owner made us feel like we were working with family. I'm not someone who usually says things like that, but it is so true in this case.

Our wedding coordinator was Mandy, and she was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. We were planning a wedding from Chicago and additionally, I was in my final year of law school which made for a hectic schedule and an even more hectic wedding to plan. Mandy made time to talk with us when we were free, meet with us when we were in town, and most importantly, she took care of everything! We literally didnt have to worry about one thing. Any questionwe had she was quick to answer. When we walked into the hall on January 7th, it was perfection. I have never been a fan of wedding food but we all had RAVE reviews from our guests on the hall AND the food. Best decision we made was choosing Parkway! We couldnt have asked for more.

Going into planning the event I wanted simple elegance, and to have an evening that went off without any worries on my part. That is exactly what we got. \r\rWe worked with Danielle starting 2 months before the party and she was the best asset to our party planning needs. Friends and family have raved about the food, the staff and the classiness of the location. Guests had a great time, food was served on time and the evening was executed exactly as I had envisioned. I had a WONDERFUL experience with Parkway Place. I was very pleased with the tremendous help, excellent accommodations, and turn out of the enitre event. My husband and I could not have imagined it any other way. It was a dream come true and every possible detail was perfect! The staff at Parkway is so easy to work with. Their director, Elizabeth was a SUPER big help in making our day everything that we wanted. Food was delicious, bartenders were great, cake was awesome, big dance floor that not only we loved, but our guests loved as well; and their bridal suite was so nice to have to keep our bags in, and to freshen-up if we needed! My overall rating is without a doubt, 5 Stars and I reccomend Parkway Place to anyone! (Even those not in the area....I live almost 2 hours from Parkway Place and it was still PERFECT!) \r\rI am SO glad I was able to use Parkway Place and have such wonderful wedding memories there!

They have a lot of great connections for everything they don't cover (dj, cake, liquor, etc.) and they take such great care and pride in their facility. So many of my guests complimented the location on the food or the decor or the staff... Everyone had a great time!\r\rBe sure to clarify with the Office Staff or your Coordinator exactly what is included in your package and what is not covered. All the amenities are available, but some things (cake cutting, projector use, etc.) are at an added cost if you don't go the all-inclusive upper tier plans.

I chose parkway to hold my wedding...from the moment the groom and I stepped into the hall we knew it was where we were going to have our reception. The people were great to work with, helped set up, tear down, food was great, hall was wonderful and would highly recommend it to other brides looking for a place in Toledo OHio. It by far is well worth every penny and the reception was a wonderful evening with a great in house DJ (pete) and awesome cake by Paula and lots of friendly helpful staff too. Everyone who attended the reception said it was one of the best they had ever been to.

The people were great to work with, helped set up, tear down, food was great, hall was wonderful and would highly recommend it to other brides looking for a place in Toledo OHio. It by far is well worth every penny and the reception was a wonderful evening with a great in house DJ (pete) and awesome cake by Paula and lots of friendly helpful staff too. Everyone who attended the reception said it was one of the best they had ever been to.

I used the Mt Vernon room which is the small room next to the ballroom but it was just as perfect and beautiful! The staff worked so well and they were all so nice. We were allowed to begin setting up table decorations 2 days before which was great. Best is that they purchase alcohol from michigan...anything we did not open was returned and we got money back!We went with the premier package which included the dj and cake and they were both sooo great! It also included full length table cloths and chair covers which made the room look beautiful. This hall was even cheaper than every other hall we looked at..great value! I would 100% recommend using this hall!

The moment I walked in I knew this was going to be my reception site! They're so eager to help, and I've never had any difficulty reaching them. Not to mention how beautiful the site is! I can't wait for my reception I'm confident with the help of the staff, everything will go perfectly! And it was a great value for the amount of guests i have attending!

The hall is amazing..with being only about 2 years old...everything is great. The food is great too, and all my guests were incredibly impressed with the food. I personally had some communication issues! My coordinator (resigned the day before my reception) was frustrating to work with and there were many things last minute that changed/had to be fixed because nothing was written down, etc. Worst thing that happened..the DJ we met with was not our DJ for the night..and he was NOT good...but the alcohol was flowing and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. The other coordinator for the hall(Elizabeth) however, was amazing to work with and helped make some things right for us after the fact. Overall I would recommend the hall, but make sure you ASK ASK ASK questions and make sure you are clear with what you want.
