Peek'n Peak Resort Reviews
Chelsea Smith(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 18-06-2022 The Peak was a fantastic place to have our wedding! We loved that it was able to accommodate everything for the day, from getting ready, picture locations, the ceremony, reception, after party activities and lodging! They were very responsive while working with them to prepare for the big day with my many questions and the food was excellent! The day went to quickly, but everything was perfect! Devonna Velazquez(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 15-01-2022 The vendor was amazing, especially their wedding planners. The venue provided lodging for my guests, a spot for our ceremony and reception in one building. It was very convenient for our guests who were from out of town and very unfamiliar with our winter weather. The wedding planners essentially took care of everything and I had to do very little as far as planning and coordination. The day went so smooth I never had a moment of worry and was able to just enjoy every moment! Reviewed on 04-05-2023
Andrew Double(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 10-09-2022 Our wedding at Peak'n Peek was great. The wedding coordinator was always easy to get in touch with, very responsive, and organized the day itself very well. Some minor issues were that they had one of the larger bathrooms closed for renovations during our night, and the bar actually ran out of several types of drinks a little less than an hour before the end of our reception. The reception hall itself looked great, and Peak'n Peek staff took care of the tables/chairs/cutlery/etc, leaving only the decorations to us. Reviewed on 03-05-2023
Emily Zaczkiewicz(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 10-09-2022 If you are looking for a venue in the NWPA or WNY region, look no further than the Peek'n Peak! I grew up and have family and friends in the area, but my now husband and I live in his hometown over 400 miles away. What drew me to the Peak in my search for the perfect venue was the \"all-inclusive\" nature, as packages included catering, bar service, decoration rentals, a coordinator, and more! This venue was perfect for accommodating the 45+ people traveling from out of town, most of which live in urban areas. We heard so many compliments from our guests about the beautiful location, the numerous activities, and several lodging and food choices on the property.I did most of the planning with Laura B. at the Peak, and she was FABULOUS to work with! From providing me with a planning guide that included dates for deliverables to a list of preferred vendors in the area, Laura was super helpful and made long distance planning a breeze! She did a great job of explaining the various options for a rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception in the numerous indoor or outdoor spaces on the property. Laura was great to accommodate some of my \"out of the ordinary requests,\" such as coordinating a shuttle to take us to a nearby church for the ceremony, then back for the reception.Starting with the rehearsal dinner and throughout our weekend, we had nothing but great service and great food! Planning a wedding is no easy feat (especially when you have a major Type A personality like me), but I really was so happy and pleased with how our weekend unfolded. Because of the hard work, hospitable nature, and attention to detail of the staff at the Peak, I was able to relax, have fun, and truly enjoy the best day of my life! Reviewed on 14-09-2022
Lauren Fetter(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 14-08-2021 This was the perfect venue for my wedding! We got married in the main ski lodge, and it was beautiful. High arch ceilings, a large fireplace, and strung market lights. The outside of the venue has a green ski slope as the background. I can imagine it looks great during the winter with snow. The venue placed fire pits on the patio, and our guests enjoyed the fresh summer air and made s’mores. I was not able to do a menu tasting prior to the wedding, and was pleasantly surprised! I have worked and been to many weddings and have never been served food that good. The filet mignon was cooked perfectly! Sammie, one of the wedding coordinators, was extremely helpful and professional! She was very responsive and proactive when I asked to make changes, even changes the day before the wedding. I cannot recommend this venue enough! Reviewed on 31-08-2021
Samantha B(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 02-11-2019 This venue was everything I could’ve ever imagined for my day. It was beautiful and easy for guests to get to and from the reception from the Inn or condos. My only issue was communication with our coordinator. Sometimes I waited more than two weeks for a reply and felt maybe he had a little too much on his plate. As a bride, I wanted to feel confident and comfortable my questions were welcomed at any time and unfortunately I didn’t always feel that way. If you are a more laid back bride, it may not be as much as an issue. Reviewed on 04-01-2020
Hannah Finegan(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 30-06-2018 My wedding coordinator was incredibly helpful and was willing to meet me or call me regarding any changes or questions I had. He accommodated my family when changes in the wedding packages as time changed, he made the planning process very easy! On the day of the wedding, it was sweltering in and out of the reception hall and the staff found fans to cool down the building. The staff truly went above and beyond the day of the wedding! Leila Shields(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 16-09-2017 We loved having our reception here. Our wedding coordinator was Kim K and she did everything in her power to make our reception perfect. She responded to my emails promptly and was always available by phone. We did have problems with the service--some of our dinner food was cold, they didn't keep up with the dessert table, and they failed to have 1 of the beers there that we paid for. Outside of those issues, it really couldn't have been easier to plan with them. We were able to check into our hotel rooms early, the staff handed out welcome bags we made for our guests, and we had a delicious brunch the day after our reception. Our honeymoon suite was beautiful, big, and clean. We were unable to use the hot tub or the shower because the hot water didn't work, which was a huge bummer! That hot tub would have felt amazing after the reception! All of our guests had good things to say about staying there and the staff couldn't have been nicer. Compliments to Kim K for making our reception as fabulous as she could. Reviewed on 16-10-2017
Lauren Larson(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 09-07-2016 If there was a way to rate my wedding coordinator, we would give her 5 stars. Karen Baggiano was great. We liked the Peak for the option to be indoors if it rained but stay outdoors if it was nice and have time to make the call up until 2.5 hours before. Our day went off without a hitch but because of the PGA tour (which we were booked for our date before it was scheduled) we had a very difficult time during planning getting answers, our guests were told there were no rooms in our block when they'd call, and we almost didn't get to rehearse at our ceremony site. Most other people will not have a conflicting event as large as this but it certainly seemed as though the Peak could care less about us having been scheduled first because the PGA tour was going bring in so much money. Although they did make it right in the end it would sometimes take weeks for answers during the planning stages and the communication was very poor. Our first wedding coordinator quit her job during our engagement and we never found out; our DJ was the one who told us! We ended up getting Karen who filled the spot and she worked so hard to make sure that we had everything we needed despite the PGA tour being there and she really made it feel like our wedding was the only event on grounds that day. On the wedding day, our only complaint was that we found that our meals did not match the plates that we had had at our tasting but the food was still very good and no one else would have known that it's not what we had chosen. Laura Hunter(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 30-08-2014 We had both our ceremony and reception at the Retreat. The venue is beautiful and gave us a great backdrop for our pictures. The food was also very good and many of our guests mentioned that it was the best wedding food they had ever had. Paula our wedding planner was very nice, however was somewhat difficult to get a hold of and could have been more involved in the process. \rThe Peek provides a great location for a wedding weekend. We spent 2 nights there and couldn't have asked for a better time. Make sure to note the service, tax and gratuity fees that are added on as they can make your final bill quite a bit more than expected. Reviewed on 04-10-2014
Elisabeth Carr(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 06-07-2013 The venue itself was incredible. The wedding planner that came with the resort left a lot to be desired. She was very disorganized and it took 3 or 4 times of me telling her about any changes before she remembered. Reviewed on 19-08-2013

Rachael Ours(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 26-05-2012 Perfect location, lots to keep guests entertained, food was AMAZING on all counts.. Our rehearsal dinner was at the restaurant on the upper golf course and it was perfection! Rooms were being renovated and the honeymoon suite was not done yet so that was a bummer as our jacuzzi tub didn't work.. But all in all the wedding was great! The coordinator was quite helpful in keeping things organized as welll.. Kept in touch via email which made everything easy when keeping all conversations documented! Highly recommend the Peak! Kylie Strohmeyer(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 24-09-2011 This was a beautiful resort with many amenities and 2 different locations to get married. In the winter it's a ski lodge and in the summer it has a pro golf course. This was a plus for our guests since it is out in the middle of nowhere and at least 45 minutes from the closest airport. They have putt putt, a driving range, two golf courses, a heated pool, a playground for kids, and a spa to fill everyone's time. The venue is gorgeous with vaulted ceilings and dark wood beams throughout. We used The Lodge which turned out to be a nice set-up since it had an upstairs. We placed all the younger people upstairs since that was where the bar was and we didn't want grandparents climbing up and down stairs all night. \rThe resort was also great because there were many options to hold the reception dinner and all the food was delicious.\rSince it is out in the middle of nowhere I would recommend having your hairstylist and/or make-up artist come to you. We ended up driving to a salon 40 minutes away and ended up completely rushed and frantic before the wedding. \rRoom accommodations for the guests were easy they have the old Inn which is very outdated but clean. As well as condo's which are brand new and have multiple bedrooms in them. The resort also offers a shuttle to get people to and from the wedding venue...very convenient.\rThe best part of all is the spectacular view from the 18th hole. Your pictures will be amazing!
