Pelazzio Reception Venue is a full-service wedding venue in Houston, TX. This sophisticated event space is handled by a full-time staff, well-experienced in making the wedding weekend memorable and elegant. They have an arsenal of in-house services available to make sure nothing at your reception is forgotten. Pelazzio Reception Venue was established in 1999 and has been home to all types of weddings, from low-key to extravagant, over the decades. Their location in the heart of Houston’s Westchase and Energy Corridor has allowed them to service happy couples from all walks of life. The decor in the ballrooms gives every reception a magical vibe, with high ceilings, ivory chiffon drapery, and a classic chiffon wedding arch. They prioritize tradition to give couples the wedding of their dreams and tailor their services and packages to fit the couple’s budget. The property holds four different venue options in the two grand ballrooms. The most popular event space, The Grand Ballroom, can hold from 125 to 250 guests. It features large mirrors, chandeliers on the ceiling and walls, and a large, sophisticated staircase as a choice for a grand entrance. The Tuscany Ballroom can cater to weddings with as many as 550 attendees and has partitions that can split it up into three rooms for more intimate affairs. Linens, centerpieces, chairs, and lights come in a variety of colors and styles to match your wedding theme. The available wedding packages are fully customizable to fit every couple’s needs and preferences for their special day. Each package features talented full-time staff to make sure you are taken care of every step of the way. Their onsite wedding consultants and planners are dedicated to working out the smallest of details to create a seamless planning process. Their inclusive services keep the journey down the aisle as stress-free as possible. The in-house catering is made fresh by the property’s chef and includes options for plated dinners, carving stations, chocolate fountain stations, and a custom buttercream cake. Bar packages include skillful bartenders to serve unlimited drinks to your guests to keep the party energy high. Modern ice sculptures can be carved into any shape with whatever initials or romantic symbol you want. UPDATED Now that I've had my wedding:Please understand the food, venue, decorations, dj, photo booth, etc. were all absolutely amazing. Where the low rating review comes in is from the pelazzio personnel.I'm tired. Plain and simple. We've had 4 coordinators due to high turnover on their side. We discussed every single detail with the 1st two, including videography as we added that with the 2nd coordinator not in the original contract made. Every single detail discussed with the first 2 was lost by Pelazzio. Every single thing had to be rehashed with the 4th and final coordinator and even then numerous questions could not be answered due to how new she was at the time (only a month or 3 into the job). The 3rd coordinator we met at our food tasting event and only discussed simply alcohol details, but she was quickly replaced with the 4th coordinator due to reorganization on their side. This has now turned into a multiple week long problem on how Pelazzio is restricted and cannot send us our wedding video raw footage as was discussed and agreed upon with the 2nd coordinator. They also cannot send us the restrictions placed and have simply kept to our video is locked up behind red tape. This is extremely upsetting. We paid for a 6 hour videographer and only received a 45min condensed version missing several key scenes. I have given the key scenes missing and yet again we are back to square one of they won't provide the missing footage due to contractual restraints. A contract I did not sign and am not allowed to see. It is purely between them and the videographer hired for the event through them. For reference, the key scenes missing are our version of the bouquet toss and our sparkler exit. These are essential scenes they cut pretty much everything out of in the video sent to us. Mind you this is also the same videgrapher we had to have 3 re edits of our 45min video done because of messups on their end and lack of communication from them. Now don't get me wrong the videographer is definitely good and worth it, but dealing with the Pelazzio personnel is simply not. Our coordinator messed up several things day of and beforehand and really just didn't have a lot of answers. This is purely to them being so new.Because of all of these issues, I highly recommend if you choose to go with this venue: - Get a coordinator you trust to deal with your coordinator provided by the venue- Get a videographer for the ENTIRE timeframe which you know and trust and can easily work with directly- Do appetizers and buffet immediately after ceremony if both being done- Make sure games and favors are out on tables immediately after ceremony, your coordinator will not help with this even if they're aware

My husband and I recently (Sept 27th) had our wedding at the Pelazzio. It was amazing. The decorations were beautiful, food tasted great, and all their vendors were professional and provided excellent work. we had the pleasure of working with Kristina, her and our coordinator made sure everything went according to plan so that we were able to enjoy our night. I love that this venue has everything you need in one place and if you want more they have contacts to get what you need. Our day was one for the books due to this venue, our families are saying it is the best wedding they have been to.

Our day was really nice. The food was excellent, the bartender made really good drinks and the decor was really beautiful. We loved the fact that everything was all inclusive - from the limo, the wedding photographer, the DJ, the wedding cake, the liquor, the real roses with the vases and place settings. Everyone commented on how beautiful everything was. The staff was also great to work with!

My husband and I got married on January 18th, 2019. We had our ceremony and reception at Pelazzio. The main thing I really like about the venue, its an all inclusive venue. They took care of the food, flowers, decorations, dj and photos. Abraham was our wedding coordinator for the evening, he was amazing! I felt like a queen the whole night, Abraham really took good care of us.

They took care of the food, flowers, decorations, dj and photos. Abraham was our wedding coordinator for the evening, he was amazing! You would think that having an all-inclusive venue is too good to be true, well… I am here to tell you, it is not! Pelazzio Reception Venue is definitely a place worth considering for a stress-free wedding. My wedding was absolutely beautiful!! My guest raved about the food and the open bar was also a HUGE hit!! My event manager Luis did everything he could to ensure that my wedding ran smooth, even when things looked like they were about to fall apart. I am extremely blessed to have gotten an event manager who cared so much about my event...even after my event. Everything was great! Beautiful venue and great staff!! Not only is it a one stop shop, but the cost is very affordable for the amount of service, and quality you get.

This is a top notch reception venue. At first I was kind of skeptical because of the location within a shopping center but the inside is absolutely beautiful. From the first day we felt special, not just like any customer they can make money of. We decided to go with the paradise package which has everything included you can dream of. (Cake, DJ, open bar, centerpieces, Buffet, etc.) Besides that there are a ton of upgrades and also whatever you want to bring in or add they def will make it happen. From the first day of planning leading up to the event, there were no issues so whatever and having so many things included already takes a lot of stress of you, i know what i'm talking about :) The night of the wedding was perfect. Eddie, our planner, made sure everything was the exact same way we planned it with him 3 weeks before and he also made sure that Abraham, our Banquet captain, had all infos. Abraham and the service staff were top notch. Always checking on us, we always had food and drinks which is not very common for the newlyweds. The food was so tasteful, especially the chicken cordon bleau. We got so many compliments on the food, on the DJ, the decoration, the lights, like literally everything was perfect. This was our day and the Pelazzio exceeded our expectations by a lot. I can truly recommend this location to anyone. Don't be scared away by their location, it was the best night ever.

Everything was PERFECT!!! I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful wedding. They coordinated everything perfectly. It’s all inclusive so I was worried maybe the photography might seem cheap but she was WONDERFUL! We got our pics back in 10 hours!! Food was great, DJ was upbeat, our coordinator Eddie made sure I had a glass of wine at all times. I wish I could relive it over and over again!!!

It’s all inclusive so I was worried maybe the photography might seem cheap but she was WONDERFUL! We got our pics back in 10 hours!! This place is an all-inclusive, one-stop shop location. The inside is wonderful, and the service was great when we went in for their Open House event in March. I had been emailing Lizbeth since August 2017 about a wedding for December 2018, and from the pricing that was given to me through email I thought my wedding was set. However, when I went in, Lizbeth said that the wedding date was not available due to repeat business for corporate events. WHY WERE WE NOT TOLD THIS BEFORE WE DROVE FOUR HOURS TO CLOSE A DEAL?! Apart from that, Lizbeth could not shake off the Paradise package ($79/pp). While yes, I did think it was a great choice in the beginning, she could not explain why $3,500 had been added as fees. Could not break it down for us and was UPSET when we asked for the explaination. When I say upset, I mean “huffing and puffing” upset. When my fiancé stepped in to speak on my behalf (I was red-faced at this point) she was belantently rude. She was not sympathetic about the situation. Said that she’d speak to upper management about making that day available to us and “let them know that we drove four hours away, and BLAH BLAH BLAH.” Those were her exact words... BLAH BLAH BLAH. The amount of unprofessionalism was enough to make me want to scream. If one were to consider this place, then I recommend speaking to another sales associate.

The Pelazzio staff took care of everything, and I couldn't have asked for anything more. They were on top of it all. Luis and Eddie, the banquet managers were very responsive to my questions, and helpful in their recommendations. The waitstaff were attentive and professional at our reception. Even accommodating us to serve dinner a little earlier. I cannot rave enough about this venue. They made the whole planning process easy and stress free.

Pelazzio was an amazing venue for our wedding event! My now husband and I had our Indian wedding celebration here and could not have been happier with how it all turned out! They have a wonderful \"Aroosi Package\" to cater to traditional Asian events, which includes delicious food. We wanted the grand ballroom but the Saturday was booked for the weekend we had in mind - we ended up going with Sunday and it worked out great! Having our event on a Sunday made it even more affordable and they also threw in free photography and free limousine service, which was great! My mother-in-law was the person primarily in communication with the Pelazzio, but every time I met with them or emailed them, they were very responsive and helpful with me too. They even added some upgrades for us with little or no additional charge and everything turned out beautiful on the day of! Overall, it is a very reasonably priced and beautiful venue with the option to customize the event to your individual style.

I think the only thing good about this venue is the price, the service wasn't that great when I was there. The staff wasn't that organized, and they weren't friendly when I got there either. I also don't like the idea of having my ceremony and reception in the same room. Great price, but not so great service.

My reception was held here on November 6,2015 in the Grand Ballroom. Pelazzio exceeded my expectations they went above and beyond to make sure that I had everything I wanted. We were running a little late from the ceremony and they made sure that everything ran smoothly. A special thanks to Luna and Erika for making sure that everything came out perfect and for always being willing to assist my calls. I was very statisfied with everyone there and in the future for any other event that I might have I will be coming back.

So I had an appointment with Lizbeth to look at the venue. I had already did my research online and wanted to view myself along with my mom. So after looking at the ballroom, Lizbeth wanted to start off with the packages. She first offered the Paradise package. Most of the things in the package, I did not need like dj, ceremony, photography, flowers. Basically she took out a good chunk. I made sure I had my phone up with their pricing so I knew what my best options were so I was fully aware of what I needed from them and didn’t get in over my head by a sales pitch. She quoted a price of $79 per person (even after taking out most items) and I questioned her about it. How can the packaged be still $79 person when you took out most of the items, a price that is listed online as well. She stumbled on her words and didn't know how to answer. At that point she knew she lost a customer. She proceeded to tell me about other packages but at that point I was done listening. She lost business that day. I am not going to spend my money where I feel like I'm being upsold instead of hearing what I need and trying to find me a reasonable package that fits my needs.In the end, I felt like they were just trying to make a sale.

So I had an appointment with Lizbeth to look at the venue. I had already did my research online and wanted to view myself along with my mom. So after looking at the ballroom, Lizbeth wanted to start off with the packages. She first offered the Paradise package. Most of the things in the package, I did not need like dj, ceremony, photography, flowers. Basically she took out a good chunk. I made sure I had my phone up with their pricing so I knew what my best options were so I was fully aware of what I needed from them and didn’t get in over my head by a sales pitch. She quoted a price of $79 per person (even after taking out most items) and I questioned her about it. How can the packaged be still $79 person when you took out most of the items, a price that is listed online as well. She stumbled on her words and didn't know how to answer. At that point she knew she lost a customer. She proceeded to tell me about other packages but at that point I was done listening. She lost business that day. I am not going to spend my money where I feel like I'm being upsold instead of hearing what I need and trying to find me a reasonable package that fits my needs.In the end, I felt like they were just trying to make a sale.

When I first meet the sales representative at the Bridal Extravaganza she lead me to believe that I was going to receive an all inclusive event package. (I did, however it did no meet my expectations based on photos) I would suggest you not select the all inclusive packages for exclusively because of the flowers. I went outside of what was offered as I felt it wasn't enough for my taste. I also didn't understand why this team would wait until 8 weeks before the event date to go over details with the client. In my opinion, this makes for disappointment from the perspective of money and having to settle because you can't afford the upgrades. Thankfully I am a Type A Personality and don't wait until the last minute to go over things and get things done. I would have been upset on my wedding. I will say they may want to consider a more mature professional staff. There team should reflect the type of clients they represent and that's not what I saw when I walked in the door. Not the worst venue but ask a lot of questions and stay on top of them.

Problems with the sales staff (never met the first person we initially talked to, she was never there). Promised things and then when we actually met the customer service staff she keeps saying it's another upgrade when we thought we got the whole package! the staff in the office aren't that helpful during the planning stage. So we got outside vendor for cake, the type of chair we really wanted (not their shabby mocha colored cushion) decorated the venue ourselves! and when we wanted something they kept saying that the other event that morning will need it. Our event was 4pm so we felt that they prioritized the other event than ours. Overall the event went great and the food & service during the event was awesome. The photographer and DJ were both superb! and the master coordinator was very accommodating. Still I won't recommend this venue;-( because of the attitude of the staff in the office.

There were several things not set up as requested (requested several times during the planning stages). My wedding was supposed to start at 5pm. I was, as most brides, late. I was later told my my friends and family, the Pelazzio was still setting up the room at 515pm. When I arrived at 520pm, there were several things not set up as I had directed them to do which I noticed immediately upon walking in. The furniture was not correct, the sign-in table was not set as directed. My canvas portrait was not placed where it was requested. The Grand Ball room was not completed as I was promised. When I viewed the room, it had white draping throughout the ceiling (which is what made the room \"Grand\"). When I came the week before the wedding, the draping was gone and the ceiling was bare. Agast, I was told they would be putting lighting on the ceiling (like christmas lights). I was PROMISED it would be up on my wedding day. IT WAS NOT. The ceiling was bare and black. The carpet I was to walk down, was laid out only 5 minutes before I came out.\rThe Pelazzio included the food, which was great. I have never had better food at a reception or any buffet meal.

Pelazzio was an excellent choice. They were a one stop shop. For the price we had the venue,the dj,the limo, the food,open bar and a great waitstaff! My guests complimented on how beautiful the place was and how great the food tasted. Only thing I found a complaint with is during the time we were giving nuptials the wedding party in the other party room were actually well into their party and we could hear their music.

At first, I didn't want to have my wedding reception at a location within a shopping center, but after viewing the inside of the Pelazzio, I couldn't resist myself. They offer great rates and worked within my budget. The food taste amazing, and every one is professional.

I had a large wedding (over 300 people) so my venue options were limited. This venue was beautiful and the prices were reasonable. I started out working with one lady who was very nice but quit before my wedding. I then had to work with the receptionist, who isn't the friendliest person in the world. I hired a wedding coordinator and the receptionist would not give her any information or discuss anything with her. The day of my wedding, my coordinator was there setting up but the receptionist kept calling me about issues. Really?! I have a coordinator that is there! Talk to her! Alas, the food was great and everyone had a good time. The final thing that was a little odd was, not 5 minutes after they closed the bar I went to get a beer and the guy told me no. Again, Really?! I'm the bride and how much money have I given this place?! You can't give me one beer! Ridiculous.

I loved all the sparkling chandeliers from the ceilings and the chandelier wall sconces. The interior decor was perfect for my theme. They provided almost everything in the price so there was very little I had to do outside the location.;They changed managers/wedding planners on me three times.
