Joanna Salmon(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 02-10-2021 If I could do it all over again (and I wish I could!), there is not a shadow of a doubt that the Pere would be the ONLY venue I would use. Susan was so amazing to work with. Even after our big day, my mom and I still meet with her to catch up and talk weddings. She has become a friend. She is professional, so kind, and an absolute blast to work with. Every request made was met with a warm, thoughtful response and a \"we can find a way to make it work\". The food was INCREDIBLE. I am positive that no caterer could have done as good of a job as they did. Our day was truly magical and it was all thanks to the Pere Marquette, Susan, and her amazing staff. Also, Wes blew us away with the management of the food/wait staff. If you are on the fence, don't think for another second. The Pere Marquette is the only way to go. Reviewed on 10-10-2021
Alexandra Lombardo(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 09-11-2019 The easiest and best to work with! Tessa was amazing and so helpful. The chef was AMAZING. They made sure everything was perfect and detailed for our day. I couldn’t recommend them more enough! We got compliments on the room, cocktail and the food. Was told by many guests it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. Reviewed on 18-01-2020
Brooklynne J(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 06-01-2018 BEAUTIFUL venue. We used the La Salle ballroom for the ceremony and the Cotillion Ballroom for the reception and it was perfect. The food was also impeccable and the servers were so friendly and professional. We worked with Meghan for the planning and she was so kind and helpful. Entire experience was amazing. We enjoyed our room and our guests did as well - clean, updated, and quiet. Nice gym and pool too. Great!! HIGHLY recommend. Reviewed on 04-01-2020
Elizabeth Hayes-Weiser(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 22-06-2019 We had our wedding ceremony at the Pere Marquette and our reception at another downtown location. We were able to have a block of rooms in the Courtyard by Marriott right next door, which we appreciated for out-of-town guests who prefer recognizable hotel branches. The downstairs bar and eating area was wonderful for friends and family to gather throughout the weekend. We were able to take beautiful pictures throughout the upstairs area of the hotel. We were happy with how everything went, but there were a few cons. Getting up to the ballrooms is a little bit of a maze for those who have trouble with stairs. I also had some communication and planning issues that were likely due to our wedding coordinator leaving the hotel and being replaced. Overall, would highly recommend. Reviewed on 25-06-2019
Abigail Fleming(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 01-12-2018 We LOVED our reception at the Pere. The wedding planning process was amazing with Jada Carlson, our wedding planner. She went above and beyond. In addition, the food was wonderful and the setting of the historic hotel was great. We loved working with the Pere!!! Reviewed on 15-01-2019

Carrie Knapp(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 23-09-2017 The Pere Marquette was so wonderful to work with, and they made our wedding everything we ever wanted it to be. The staff is incredible...from planning every detail to the last minute when we decided to keep our reception going for an hour longer than we had originally planned, and the bar staff stayed with smiles on their faces. Aaron was our coordinator and I don't have enough good things to say about him. He and everyone at the Pere were so accommodating and made us feel like our wedding was the only one on their minds (although I know it wasn't!) I am so happy we chose the Pere and there is nothing I would have changed about it. Reviewed on 10-10-2017
Tawnie Rashid(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 16-07-2016 I have nothing but the VERY best to say about the Pere! I have my wedding reception there last July with 350 people and everything went INCREDIBLE! Everyone at the Pere were extremely professional and did such an amazing job at accommodating to our needs. Also, it is so insanely beautiful! Reviewed on 11-04-2017
Ashley Norton(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 31-12-2016 We used the Pere Marquette Cotillion Ballroom for our reception. The room was absolutely gorgeous and fit our wedding theme perfectly. The staff there was very accommodating to our requests. The banquet manager, Stephen, worked with us to provide the alcohol of our choice. Kelly was responsive to our requests and went out of her way to answer our many questions. The food was absolutely amazing. Our guests continue to talk about the food, venue, and services provided. We highly recommend the Pere Marquette! Reviewed on 04-01-2017
Stacey Brewer(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 09-04-2016 Although we did not book the Peoria Marriott Pere Marquette for our reception venue, we did block a book of rooms and they treated us just as well as anyone who had booked an event at their hotel. Ana was helpful in organizing welcome bag drop-offs and a Sunday brunch at the Table 19 restaurant. We used one of the luxury suites to get ready the morning of the wedding and with 2.5 bathrooms it was perfect to bring hair and makeup to us. The downtown location was perfect to get to all of our wedding venues. Reviewed on 25-04-2016
Megan Adams(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 10-10-2015 We had our block of rooms at the Pere. It was beautiful. At times, the service was a little spotty. I was constantly getting passed from employee to employee, computers were down, and my family complained about snotty employees when booking their reservation. However, the hotel is the most beautiful in the Peoria area. Our rooms were also very reasonably priced compared to other cities. Reviewed on 05-11-2015

Krystal Adams(bride)3 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 02-08-2014 We set up a room block for our guests at the Pere Marquette in Peoria after our initial hotel, Four Points by Sheraton, informed us that they were closing for renovations and would not be open in time. The Pere Marquette was nice looking, but they're clearly still working out some kinks. They only have 2 bellhop carts, so don't ask for one unless you're ready to be rushed and watched as you try to check in or out. None of the rooms have mini-fridges or microwaves. And the staff only kinda knows what's going on. My hope is that with all the changes they're going though, they're still trying to get on their feet and get stuff figured out. They do have a complimentary parking deck, its located on Fulton Street next to Sacred Heart Church. Its not very clearly marked, so make sure you're going into the right one. Also, as many people told me, don't bother eating or drinking at Table 19 - its very overpriced. There are plenty of bars on Main street that are more worth your money. Reviewed on 20-08-2014
Lacy Johnson(bride)3 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 29-07-2011 Getting in touch with the wedding coordinator was extremely difficult, and very stressful. Not to mention my \"wedding coordinator\" no longer worked for the hotel half way through planning my wedding with them. The venue is gorgeous, we didn't have to spend a ton of money decorating because it was great as is. However, our suites had no working air conditioner. They gave us box fans. Being a bride and trying to keep my makeup from going all over with sweat pouring down my face was impossible. The food was incredible. Reviewed on 04-09-2011
Liz Lee(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 25-09-2010 I absolutely loved having our reception at the Pere (Cotillion Room). I didn't compare many places because I knew I wanted the reception to be there. The room was gorgeous, and the food - chicken cordon bleu and au gratin potatoes - was AMAZING. If you get the Cotillion room, I would recommend getting their portable dance floor if it's available, and putting it in the middle of the room so all guests can easily see everything. Otherwise it is all the way at the end of the long room. The prices were reasonable... We had a 5 hour reception for 200 people, sit down meal, champagne toast, butlered cocktail hour, open beer and wine, and room fee for under $10k. The bridal suite is HUGE, and they may be willing to comp it for the wedding night. I also got it reduced to $200 for Friday night so my bridesmaids and I could get ready there on the wedding day. The wedding coordinator there was easy to work with, and would answer any questions we had. I would absolutely recommend the Pere Marquette to anyone looking for an elegant place to have their reception! Reviewed on 12-10-2010
Paige Dean(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 12-04-2008 The Cotillion Room was so beautiful and romantic with high ceilings and the most gorgeous chandeliers. The Pere Marquette ia a hotel so the rooms were just right upstairs from the reception which made the whole evening relaxing and convenient for guests. Carnegies the higher-end restaurant catored the wedding and had the most amazingly wonderful tasting and looking heordeourves and dinner. I felt like a million bucks-a night I will never forget!;It is an older more historical hotel. I loved it because it really made the whole look of my wedding more of what I wanted though.
