PIER 22 Dining and Catering is a stunning wedding venue located in Bradenton, FL, offering services to couples hosting their special day. This magnificent waterfront property features Spanish-style architectural design elements, and it is conveniently located close to local attractions and amenities. Featuring a beautiful modern interior, fantastic views, and waterfront access, this venue has everything couples need to create the bespoke wedding experience of their dreams. With several event locations available, PIER 22 Dining and Catering can host weddings with up to 300 guests. There are both indoor and outdoor ceremony and reception options available. The available venues include the Dockside Lounge, the Waterside Terrace, the PIER 22 Grand Ballroom, and several private and semi-private rooms. Each location features panoramic views of the Manatee River and provides the perfect backdrop for wedding celebrations and photographs. There are also get-ready rooms available where the wedding couple can enjoy some privacy and prepare for the day. PIER 22 Dining and Catering offers a range of services and packages that couples can customize to their needs. A dedicated wedding planner is available to each couple who will ensure every celebration is as seamless as it is spectacular. Catering is available in-house from a team of executive chefs who will prepare a custom menu to each coupleâs exact specifications. We had our wedding reception at Pier22 and it was the best experience ever. It was incredibly beautiful, the team was fantastic, and was all under our budget! All of our guests raved about each food dish and every bar drink. They all took the time to deliver quality food and drinks. Our cake was amazing. Working with Hannah was great. She really made this whole experience stress-free and really made sure everything was the way my husband and I wanted things. The ballroom was incredibly beautiful and I was particularly happy that we were able to have candles lit- it really created a beautiful ambiance. We recommend Pier22 to everyone who is looking for a unique venue on the water and on a budget. Thank you Pier 22 and Hannah Stevens!

Pier 22 & Kim were amazing from start to finish. Kim was always responsive to emails and so helpful when we had questions. The food was delicious. We had so many options to choose from, our guests loved all the food and the cake was beautiful. Our wedding was a dream and Pier 22 helped make it happened. We needed a tent last minute due to rain and Kim helped make it possible for us within 48 hours. Definitely recommend Pier 22 for anyone looking for an amazing vendor for their wedding.

I have been waiting until the wedding was over to say anything, for fear that our reception place would cancel our reception. Pier 22 in Bradenton, Florida was absolutely AWFUL to work with. I would NEVER recommend using them for any event, especially a ceremony or wedding reception. In March of 2022 we looked at different venues for our reception and ended up landing on Pier 22 because of how the space was presented to us. We were told by Hannah that we could have the ballroom upstairs for the reception and for $1000 we could rent two areas outside on the patio for cocktail hour. My fiancĂ© and father both asked if we would have access to the outside area after cocktail hour was over for those who wanted to just step outside or have a smoke break. We were told Yes. We knew that the bar would no longer be there and there would be no service but were happy to pay the money for guests to be able to go outside. We paid the deposit, signed the contract, and were all set to go about a week after viewing the place. Time goes by and now weâre 3 months out from the wedding and there is another payment to be made. We now notice that we are being charge more for the space outside that we already contracted on and now the venue is saying that we do not have access to the outdoor place after the cocktail hour at all. One of the reasons we went with Pier 22 was because of access to the outside during the reception. My fiancĂ© is an attorney and went through everything they gave us and on the sheet the âsite feeâ is $500 per tent and they are all four hours, besides the ceremony space where it is defined as 2 hours only. When the issue was first brought up we were told that they donât ever do that and we were misunderstanding what they advertised to us when we book the reception. We then asked to speak to someone higher up named, Nicole, who was nothing but nasty to us from the start. She explained to us again, that they have never done that so that raises red flags for her. My fiancĂ© was emailing them to create a paper trail and had said that if someone messed up, thatâs ok, we understand, but they need to accommodate us somewhere else. Nicole had told us âabsolutely notâ that it was a âmisunderstanding on our part.â There was back and fourth but we were always very kind and understanding. She then asked us âwell what do you want us to do.â My fiancĂ© and I talked and were fine with just having access for cocktail hour, but that we should not be charged for the space. Nicole got back to us with our request and said No. The De Soto parade is the same day as our wedding. If someone just made a mistake, thatâs fine, but we felt we needed to be compensated somewhere. We understand that maybe they didnât realize the parade was the same day and could make money keeping the patio open to the public. They were completely unwilling to do that and charged us $750 now for each tent. I then called Nicole and she was so nasty to me on the phone. I asked her if I could speak to someone else and she said âthatâs fine, but he already wants to cancel your reception and cocktail hour since you have done nothing but cause problems and if you keep pushing we will cancel it.â So I asked her if I left him a message on his voicemail he would cancel our reception, to which she told me âyeah, probably.â I then got upset and a bit snarky and asked her why that was their solution, that we were understanding of a mistake but they did not want to do anything to try and fix it. She then told me that âit is not a mistake on their part but a mistake on ours and something we misunderstood and that they still have a business to run.â She told me that the chef of Pier 22, Greg Campbell, said that he âdoesnât understand why Nicole is even putting up with us, just cancel it.â I was heartbroken that they would cancel our reception knowing that there was no way we could find another one within 3 months. We planned everything to be in walking distance. The hotel, church, and reception. We havenât had any contact with anyone from there since and have had our wedding planner be the person of contact with them. We did ask them how much it would be if we wanted the patio for the evening, to which they responded, $8,000. Which obviously just isnât right. They are absolutely AWFUL and will never ever give them any kind of business again. Itâs one thing to make a mistake, but to continue to lie about it and turn it around on your customers is just beyond me. To tell a bride that they still have a business to run while being so nasty is disgusting. Hannah also told us that Pier 22 could get any brand of wine, mixers, and alcohol that we wanted. Just to let her know and she would contact the vendors to get what we wanted. Well, that turned out to be ANOTHER miscommunication/lie that we were told. They can NOT get whatever brand/kind we wanted. This place has been so disappointing and there is no excuse for it. They should be ashamed of themselves and should not be hosting ceremonies or weddings because of how nasty they are. I have not had any issue with any of my other vendors at all. They have been amazing and so kind! I share this so no one else has to deal with what we did. Your wedding is supposed to be the happiest day of your life and these people could care less. UPDATE: day after the wedding. Pier 22 really dropped the ball. Our tents that we paid for were nowhere to be found for our wedding yesterday. So our cocktail hour got rained on, along with our guests and everyone had to go inside. I never had a problem with any of my vendors, besides Pier 22. Absolutely awful!

We had a great experience with Pier 22. They were flexible the day-of and very responsive to any questions via emails and phone calls. Excellent caterer! Great food and great service! Ultimately picked this caterer for our wedding at the Powel Crosley because of their flexibility and quality of food. They easily accommodated gluten free dishes for our celiac guests that most vendors wouldnât. They offered MANY dishes and appetizers that easily made our menu customizable.. Went to dinner at Pier 22 and Grove locations in addition to completing tastings, and was never disappointed. Food at wedding was perfectly cooked, hot, and delicious! Would highly recommend the beef tenderloin, mahi-mahi, eggplant torte, and the prosciutto wrapped asparagus. Didnât hear a single complaint about food from guests either. They easily accommodated specific beverage and rental requests we had for our wedding, including a chandelier, cushions on chairs, and specific beers and liquors guests like. We also ordered our cake through the baker at Pier 22 and it was truly delicious! It was a huge convenience not having to coordinate another vendor for cake and we knew it would show up with the rest of the food. It was also very good! We had both chocolate and carrot cake tiers, that were gone by the end of night. We look forward to visiting their restaurants again soon! The staff was friendly and helpful during event and we truly appreciate the care they put into our wedding. Would recommend clarifying bottled versus tap water if have preference for event.

We had our rehearsal dinner here in the ballroom and the staff was excellent. The communication was average leading up to the event, but we couldnât be happier with how it turned out. The views are amazing and we got to see a beautiful sunset as we ate dinner. They were able to accommodate us bringing a groomscake and served it as well. The guests only had compliments regarding the food, and they even had vegan options which was a plus. We definitely recommend this location to other wedding parties and large events. Pier 22 was the perfect venue for our wedding. The staff was accommodating from the beginning helping to build a menu and options that fit our budget. After months of planning I was able to hand everything over to Jillian the event Coordnator who set up the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception sites. She was there every step of the way and pier 22 turned into our dream wedding venue. Our guests had nothing but positive feedback and were shocked at how affordable this venue was. I had many guests assuming we paid more than double what our final cost was. Very impressed and would highly recommend for anyone looking to have a waterfront wedding

Five stars all around!! We had our rehearsal dinner at pier 22 and they also catered our wedding at the Powel Crosley Estate. From the staff to the food it was top notch all the way,our guests raved over the food and how accommodating and professional the staff were. Jillian worked closely with me from the beginning to ensure we had everything we wanted and stayed within our budget. She went above and beyond most catering managers!! Not to mention she was extremely easy to work with! I would not hesitate to hire this restaurant again for another big function!

Five stars all around!! We had our rehearsal dinner at pier 22 and they also catered our wedding at the Powel Crosley Estate. From the staff to the food it was top notch all the way,our guests raved over the food and how accommodating and professional the staff were. Jillian worked closely with me from the beginning to ensure we had everything we wanted and stayed within our budget. She went above and beyond most catering managers!! Not to mention she was extremely easy to work with! I would not hesitate to hire this restaurant again for another big function!

Incredibly rude customer service. Do not show for appointments and difficult to communicate with. Ended up deciding this was not my venue due to the fact that their communication and professionalism was so poor . Very disappointed with this place đ .

Pier 22 hosted my bridal luncheon prior to my wedding. They had a lovely private room with a great view of the fish tank and plenty of room for seating. The food was outstanding. I had the crab cake sandwich and it was superior!The waitress was very attentive and helpful. She even brought in extra forks for us to use for a special dessert my aunts prepared for the occasion.

Jillian did an amazing job coordinating everything, and I honestly couldnât be happier with my wedding. The upstairs ballroom of pier22 has had a makeover in the last year and now looks really classy overlooking the river. It was the perfect spot for our rehearsal dinner. Then we used the outdoor patio for our post wedding brunch and we all enjoyed mimosas in the sunshine. Such a beautiful venue!

The ceremony was wonderful and the reception was great! But just after the delicious brunch buffet, it rained! All of our guests were ushered inside and accommodated. I am very thankful to the staff of Pier 22 for saving the day!

This venue was perfect for our 60 person wedding. We used the patio outside on the river for our entire event and couldn't be happier. The feeling was romantic, intimate and private - exactly what we were hoping for. The management staff (Jillian and Michelle) helped make all of our visions come true - we had the perfect flow of tables (we requested banquet tables vs round tables) and layout. The dance floor was separated from the dinner tables by the bar and high top tables used for the cocktail hour and for places to post up when you needed a break from dancing! I have never seen this set up at a wedding and it was AMAZING. And this layout also made it great for the guests who did not want to dance since they were not bombarded by the loud music. The lights hanging in the trees enhanced our romantic tablescapes. \r\rI heard nothing but praise for the food - I am personally a vegetarian and did not really eat much at the wedding (too busy dancing!), but not one guest commented negatively on any of the dishes or cocktail hour items. Everyone LOVED the house salad!\r\rThe wait staff during the event went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met - you barely noticed them doing their jobs, but everything was taken care of timely (dinner, salads, clean up, etc) there weren't empty glasses laying around or anything like that. And they made sure to fill our glasses whenever they were low and to ask about anything we needed when we were sitting at the table. They even offered to help get rid of a few wedding crashers that found their way to the patio - I really couldn't express my gratefulness to the staff enough! \r\rIf you are looking to get married in the area do yourself a favor and check this place out for your special day!

I got married at this venue this past January, and it was beautiful. I loved how the renovated the outside patio area. My only complaints are that they only provided one heater for outside, and I was expecting more day of coordinating help. The food was pretty good, and the staff is friendly and helpful. I would recommend their services.
