Pine Island Country Club is a charming golf club wedding venue located in Charlotte, North Carolina. This exquisite establishment offers elegant event spaces, tailored services, and a dedicated event team to assist with your special day. Here, couples and their guests can celebrate in style and make many happy memories. Facilities and Capacity Pine Island Country Club offers an array of options to host a spectacular wedding celebration on-site for up to 110 guests. The entire clubhouse can be utilized for full-day celebrations, offering over 25,000 square feet of event space to be enjoyed. For the main reception event, the second-floor Ballroom offers a stunning location. Here, neutral decor and an open-plan layout allow couples to transform this space to suit their style. The stand-out feature of this room is the glass rotunda that offers panoramic views of the scenic surroundings. To lock down your date, you will need to submit a non-refundable deposit based on the space you will be occupying. Each room will have a room rental + set up fee as well as the food + beverage minimum. Services Offered The dedicated event staff at Pine Island Country Club aim to provide for all of your wedding needs. Their in-house culinary team prides themselves on offering quality cuisine to suit all occasions. They are happy to cater your wedding breakfast, cocktail hour, and reception event with their wide array of menu options. This venue can provide a range of bar packages. Their event spaces also boast an array of AV equipment that can be utilized for ceremonies, speeches, and reception entertainment. They do not have an onsite Event Coordinator. If necessary, this will be a third-party vendor.

Our Pine Island wedding was wonderful! The team was amazing! Jaime and her team crushed our wedding, they were so helpful and supportive. We had great communication before and during the wedding, they dealt with last minute changes easily, and managed our stress so well. Jaime is the best and Pine Island was an amazing venue. Jaime literally kept me sane the entire time and I am so grateful for her! We would highly recommend!

I planned and directed a wedding that was held at Pine Island Country Club. The venue is beautiful and met all major needs of the wedding day. My bride and groom were very happy with the venue, amenities, and services received. I had the pleasure of working with the onsite Private Event Director, Jaime Duncan. She was a joy to work with and helped me and my team execute a seamless event. Jaime was very attentive, fun, and professional. I will definitely refer Pine Island Country Club as a venue for future clients!

Pine Island Country Club was such a WONDERFUL place to host our wedding! This venue has been my dream for years! Since 2018, I came across this \"hidden gem\" and decided that this was the ONLY place for us to get married. Being able to have our ceremony, reception, and cocktail hour on the same property added just the special touch! In addition, we had an AMAZING wedding coordinator! Meredith was everything and more; such a pleasure to work with. My husband and I didn't have to worry about a thing! She was always just a phone call away without any hesitation! I would recommend this venue and her exceptional services as a day of coordinator. She is truly passionate about what she does and it shows! Thanks again Pine Island for such a wonderful experience!

Pine Island Country Club was an absolutely wonderful place to host our wedding. Being able to have both our ceremony in one location but two separate spaces was a big factor for us so that our family and friends traveling from out of town did not have to do much driving and they made that possible with such ease. Meredith was an absolute joy to work and made the whole process enjoyable. Pine Island Country Club provided the perfect scenery on their course for our photographer to capture some amazing photos. They really helped make our dream wedding possible and we will be forever grateful. We definitely recommend them to anyone looking for the perfect wedding venue.

Pine Island Country Club was an absolutely wonderful place to host our wedding. Pine island was by far the most amazing venue ever! I was supposed to have my wedding back in June 2020 but COVID ruined that. I moved my date three times. The staff was so understanding and flexible. Meredith guided me through everything and answered emails effectively and timely. The day of went so perfect and smooth thanks to her and her staff. They worked with the vendors and made sure everything was perfect so I could relax with my girls. The rooms to get ready in for the bridal parties were perfect and spacious. They also catered lunch from their restaurant in the venue! So yummy! The ceremony and reception space were set up perfectly and the food was absolutely amazing. The bar tender was a hit and so kind to all my guests. All the staff were so sweet and helpful to our guests. The night could not have been any better and the people golfing were so kind to us as well. I cannot brag enough of how perfect and efficient this venue staff is! I cannot thank them enough for everything they did for us through our long journey. Please look into them for any event, especially weddings!! Best day of our lives thanks to them!!

We had our wedding here last month and I cannot say enough positive things about the venue and the event planner, Maura.From the day we toured the venue up until wedding day, Maura was absolutely incredible! She was on top of everything and really helped guide us through the planning process. She was happy to offer advice and suggestions and always answered our questions. On wedding day, she kept everything running smoothly and I can’t tell you how much I appreciated that as the bride. I didn’t have to worry because I knew she had things covered. She is truly amazing and I’m forever grateful for the role she played in our wedding day.The venue itself was also perfect for us! Having 2 separate indoor spaces was ideal. We were able to have our ceremony in the pavilion then go to the main ballroom for the reception. No fuss of trying to “flip a room” and decorating last minute. If you’re interested in outdoors, they also have a beautiful lawn space overlooking the golf course. With different rooms and space options, there’s something for everybody!The food was unbelievable!! I knew I really liked it after the tasting but wow, on the wedding day the chefs really went all out. That was the most talked about thing at the wedding and still to this day! Everyone could not get enough of the food.Overall, I think this is an amazing venue! Our experience was nothing short of perfect. We toured 10-15 venues when we were looking and this really was #1 on the list from the moment we saw it. I would highly recommend giving this place some consideration!

I can't say enough positive things about Pine Island! Sandi was beyond responsive and helpful with all of my ideas and questions-it is truly like having a built in wedding planner! The food was excellent, our created signature cocktails were delicious, and the entire process was stress-free. We were taken care of the whole way through and the reception was better than we could have expected! Highly, highly recommended (and this is coming from a very detail-oriented bride)!

From the first time we visited Pine Island Country Club, we knew this would be the location for our ceremony and reception. The staff and members are extremely nice and accommodating. The food during cocktail hour and the reception was great. Sandi was a joy to work with and assisted with those last minute decisions. Overall, I would highly recommend PICC as a wedding venue.

From the first time we visited Pine Island Country Club, we knew this would be the location for our ceremony and reception. The staff and members are extremely nice and accommodating. The food during cocktail hour and the reception was great. Sandi was a joy to work with and assisted with those last minute decisions. Overall, I would highly recommend PICC as a wedding venue.

I would like to give a 2, but because in the end our wedding turned out fine I added the extra star. When we booked this venue a year in advance we were promised there was only to be 1 wedding booked. This was with our first wedding coordinator. About 3-4 months after putting our deposit down I received an email from our wedding coordinator informing me she was moving onto bigger and better things. At first, this was not a big deal as I was assured that when a new wedding coordinator was hired we would be in contact. This did not happen. I attempted to contact the new wedding coordinator with some questions several times with no response, until I got the property management staff involved. Once I did get in contact with this coordinator I was told things that we had set up with our first coordinator were now out of the questions. No biggie, right? Maybe if this coordinator did not also leave, now leaving us with a 3rd coordinator to work with. Coordinator drama aside for a few months we put our final payment down to find out we were a double booked wedding that day. Something that from the beginning was reiterated several times, and now all the sudden not true. We heard at least 3 or 4 different versions from different people as to why this would have happened. In the end the blame was put on the 2nd coordinator, and was stated again as I was waiting to walk down the aisle from another staff member. Furthermore, I paid an extra $300 bucks or so the day of to have day of coordination of my wedding. I probably saw my coordinator a total of 3 times. One of my bridesmaids overheard a management team member pull her aside to \"help\" with the other wedding (that should not have been there) because they had a bigger party (meaning more money I am assuming.) My bridesmaids ended up setting up most of our stuff, later that afternoon, because when we got their at 10am to figure out where everything had to go half of the tables were not set up yet. The management told us this property is losing money, as to somehow make up for the fact that no one here gave a crap about our wedding or the money we were spending because they decided to book another wedding WAY AFTER we put our deposit down. We were also told about an hour before the reception ended we were going to be warned so we could extend if we wanted. This also didn't happen, and we were practically shoved out the door. There was also supposed to be clean up included based off our initial understanding. When we were told we had to clean everything up, we obviously did not have this planned causing chaos and frustration for my family. I was told I couldn't come back for my stuff in the morning because there was another bride utilizing the suite. I'm glad they respected her time and money because they certainly did not mine. To make it better- when we collected our car in the morning there was not anyone in the bridal suite . They just flat out lied. Again. Most of these review are old and misleading. I am writing this in hopes that it will save someone else some stress. Actually, I am taking that last star back again. They don't deserve it. This place is a mess, and can not keep staff or structure.

What an amazing venue! Everything about our wedding reception was absolutely fantastic! My husband and I moved away to Charleston about half way through the wedding planning, and Brittanie could not have been more friendly and easy to work with. The attention to detail and perfection that Pine Island brought to life on our special day was truly appreciated. They even arranged a golf tournament for our family and friends a couple days before the wedding. Everyone that was about to attend the reception still raves about the food and about what a great time they had. What an amazing venue! Everything about our wedding reception was absolutely fantastic! Pine Island Country Club was the best choice for our wedding. We wanted a small wedding and found PICC to have the best location, prices and overall décor for us. What stood out the most for us was that this venue provided everything we needed and more at our convenience. If nothing else just stop by and see the view of the rotunda as a backdrop for your ceremony, the pretty bridal suite to take pics in or the well kept golf course for your guests to admire while enjoying cocktail hour and appetizers. It really is a well kept secret in Charlotte. Brittanie, the wedding coordinator, was so helpful and organized. She was available to answer all our questions as well as provide us a list of great outside vendors. If you're looking for easy, breezy and beautiful then PICC is what you want.

This venue has it all! Great location, amazing scenery for perfect pictures and the food prepared by a gourmet chef was absolutely delicious. We were so impressed by Pine Island and their staff we hired Brittanie as our event coordinator to assist us with planning our wedding. Brittanie was absolutely amazing!!!! Before meeting Brittanie we were really stressed about planning a wedding with both of us having busy schedules and then after just having a baby our stress level sky rocketed. Brittanie worked with us and our crazy schedules to pull off a beautiful and seamless wedding. Everyone one of our guests complimented the venue and all of its attributes as well as the food. They said this was the best food they've had at any wedding and I agree. If you're looking for a place to get married that has it all look no further.

The wedding coordinator was really helpful, and let us decorate the place how we wanted. There was several places to take neat pictures, and the rehearsal space was gorgeous. Pine Island was the perfect backdrop for our wedding day and we could not be happier that we chose to have our ceremony and reception at Pine Island. The Pavillion with the beautiful full length windows created a beautiful and open space for our ceremony, while not having to worry about the uncertainty of the weather. The staff at Pine Island did a great job of making sure everything was exactly how we wanted it to be from start to finish. We didn't have to worry about a thing on our wedding day except enjoying ourselves and that is priceless. May 2, 2015 was absolutely spectacular, our wedding day! It was all that we imagined it could be and Pine Island was a big reason why. We loved the location which is on a pristine golf course close to the interstate. We held the ceremony in the Pavilion which is adjacent to the main building and ballroom. The Pavilion was perfect with all of its tall glass windows letting in tons of light with a beautiful view of the greens. After the ceremony our guest enjoyed cocktail hour on the patio, the weather was absolutely perfect! The reception was held in the main ballroom. This room allowed us the space we need to accommodate our guest and enjoy a fabulous meal prepared by the venue. All of my guest said the food was delicious and the beverages were great! The staff did an awesome job making everyone feel welcomed and that we, the bride and groom were happy. We had an awesome time getting down on the dance floor in the rotunda! My husband and I were very well pleased with how everything turned out. I can honestly say the day was perfect. As our guest shared their feedback after the wedding, all of them loved the venue and said they would contract with PICC for their special future events.\rThanks PICC for helping to make that day one we will never forget!\r~Shenine and Kacy!\r

I loved having my wedding at Pine Island Country Club. Tara and Brittanie were awesome and guided me throughout the whole way. The venue is very beautiful and my guest couldn’t stop commenting on the aesthetics of the property. I had my wedding in the pavilion which provided an awesome view of the golf course and allowed the beautiful sunlight to shine through without feeling the heat of being outside. My cocktail hour was held on the patio and my reception was held in the ballroom with a glass rotunda allowing the uplighting to reflect off of the windows and creating an intimate, but yet fun experience for my guests. Tara the event director went out of her way to go with me to different places to pick out the linens for my wedding which was a big help. She was going to be out of town the day of my wedding, but met with me several times to ensure everything would go as planned. Brittanie the assistant stepped in the day of my wedding and really helped things come together as I was very unorganized that day. She was able to keep me calm and remained calm as well while helping to coordinate my wedding day to ensure that it ran smoothly. Without her, I do not know if my wedding would have even happened because so many things went wrong on my behalf. I cannot say enough about these two ladies, they really helped me having the wedding that I always dreamed of and I do not think it would have been possible without them. I never had a problem with them answering calls or emails and they were more than willing to assist me in making decisions if needed. I cannot recommend this place enough, book your wedding with them and you will not regret it!!!!!!

Pine Island is the perfect size for 150-160 guests. It feels cozy but is spacious enough to not feel tight. Having access to the members only grill which has an additional bar and the patio, gives your guests the ability to relax and chat with a bit less noise then the main room where dancing takes place. Pine Island provides ample number of servers so food is delivered quickly and the table is cleaned just as fast, there is never a line at the bar and their staff is top notch at keeping the evening flowing. I most loved their flexibility and willingness to try different table and dance floor layouts, the large linen selection and their ability to pre-order linens in order to confirm you've made the right choice. The day of coordinating with all the vendors involved was fantastic! The staff found a kind and gentle way of telling me that the baker dropped the cake and how they remedied the situation by decorating a sheet cake. I know most Brides would think this was a disaster but the fact that Pine Island took it into their own hands and fixed the situation the best they could, was much appreciated and gives us a great story as we look back on our day. 4/26/14 was the best day of my life and Pine Island is a big part of why I have such fond memories.

Pine Island Country Club was a truly lovely setting for my daughter's wedding reception, very open and spacious, with great views from the windows surrounding the building. The service was exceptional, from the event coordinator and her team that we worked with intitally, all the way to those that helped get the reception room ready for the event! They were so very accommodating, helpful, and gracious! The evening of our event was flawless, we were met by the event coordinator when we arrived in a private setting complete with trays of hors d'oeuvres and cold drinks. From there they led us through the bridal party announcements, first dance, blessing and opening the buffet flawlessly! Immediately after beautiful plates of food and drinks were placed before the bride and groom, the wedding party was invited to visit the food stations before the guests, everything was done to make us all feel special. The staff was present all evening, making sure tables were cleared, and that guests had everything they needed. The food was delicious, hot, and beautifully presented! My daughter and her new son in law could not have asked for a better reception. Our thanks to the PICC team!

Immediately after beautiful plates of food and drinks were placed before the bride and groom, the wedding party was invited to visit the food stations before the guests, everything was done to make us all feel special. The staff was present all evening, making sure tables were cleared, and that guests had everything they needed. The food was delicious, hot, and beautifully presented! My daughter and her new son in law could not have asked for a better reception. Our thanks to the PICC team!

Pine Island was the perfect venue for our daughter's wedding. We had the ceremony and cocktail hour in the Pavillion and the reception in a room upstairs with the dance floor in the Rotunda of that room. The food was fabulous, the service was great without being \"in your face\". Everyone had a wonderful time and wondered where the time had gone when the happy couple were ready to leave. Tara and Rodney made sure that everything went off without a hitch. \r\rThe best part of the whole experience was how happy our daughter was with her wedding! I got married at Pine Island Country Club on May 18th 2012 at 8:00pm. It truley was beautiful! I still have friends commenting on how great the food was and how beautiful they thought the wedding was. I will say that as with all big events there was a few snags... my wedding cake didn't show up until i was waiting to walk down the aisle, so i asked someone from PICC to go to the grocery store and get me a white cake to cut for the pictures which they did, and without me asking started baking cookies for all of my guests- luckily the cake showed up so we didn't need them. PICC charged up a little over $100 each for use of the locker room for the bride and groom to get ready in, which of course we paid. But the day of the wedding there were several men in the grooms room playing poker and watching tv, when we asked the event coordinater about when they would be asked to leave and at this point we were informed that members could not be asked to leave. I just didn't understand why we were being charged to \"rent\" a room if we didn't actually get the room to ourselves? They have very strict rules about how long the food can stay out so that it never gets into the \"food danger zone\" which i do understand not wanting to make people sick, but after 2 hours they were removing the food from the buffet- which i thought was a little early. and lastly they will not tolerate the use of sparkelers at any point during the evening . i know it seems like i listed alot of negative things. But the food was great, the venue beautiful and the staff very helpful. I do highly reccomend PICC. Cassie the event coordinater is awesome!

She walked us through the entire planning stage. She had great input and ideas. PICC is a beautiful place for a reception. The rotunda is gorgeous at night and the grounds are amazing for pictures. The quality of the food was very high. The staff at PICC was professional, courteous, and helpful to us and all of our guests. Seeing as I am an out of town parent much of our planning had to happen over the phone, via e-mail, and during my short trips into Charlotte. Jennifer was always there for us and made sure that we were able to have the reception my children wanted. All of our guests have commented about what a magical reception ours was. We went to go look at PICC and we absoutely fell in love with it, what sold us was the terrifc staff and the gogeous rotunda. Jennifer was great to work with, she was with us every step of the way. Her staff was incredible through out the event. They helped us in every way possible and things were better than we imagined. There were also great photo opportunities outside on the golf course. We had an amazing reception there, I couldn't have asked for anything more. I would recommend this Country club to anyone!

Spacious locker room to get ready and store your stuff (for both parties). 4. for the bride that wants a grand entrance...21 step spiraling staircase down to the tent (it can be done in a tighter gown and 4in heels!) 5. Since it's a smaller club, you get to know almost everyone, and they are all willing to help you out and woo you to use their facilities!\rWe had an awesome ceremony and reception there, and I hope you do, too!

We had a wonderful Sunday afternoon wedding underneath the tent outside. Everything was perfect and Pine Island Country Club went over and beyond to make our day special. Everyone at Pine Island did an excellent job to make our wedding perfect.

My husband & I had our rehearsal dinner at Pine Island back in August. Jennifer was so helpful and so kind. She made me feel as though my event was the only one taking place! She is very organized and creative. The venue is beautiful and the food was delicious! I highly recommend it :)

I had my wedding at Pine Island over the summer. The food was FANTASTIC and had a lot of compliments after the event. I had very high expectations of what I wanted and they met everyone of them!

My daughter and son-in-law were married under the tent in the summer. It was beautiful. So many photo opportunities there! The reception was 1st class with delicious food and a top notch staff. Guests were well taken care of by the PICC staff. Event coordinator was very willing to help and accomodate any requests. Easily accessible via I-485. Highly recommend this club!!!!

We had a beautiful ceremony and reception at Pine Island Country Club. The venue was absolutely beautiful. The food was delicious. The customer service was attentive, courteous, and wonderful. Our guests were very pleased and are still talking about our wedding. I would highly recommend Pine Island Country Club.

I had my wedding here in April 2010. The golf course is a beautiful backdrop with a stunning sunset (if you have a clear day). The ballroom was very nice with enough space for all my guest. The ballroom also has a neat rotunda, or big bay window,for the bride/room, bridal party, and close family to sit. The staff was very helpful and accomodating to my needs and wishes. They evey encouraged me to hang lanterns from the ceiling! it looked really nice! I would highly recommend this place. You get a great deal for a fair price.

Nat Becker (Events Director) Congratulations on your engagement and thank you for considering Pine Island Country Club! My name is Nat Becker. I graduated from Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I majored in Hospitality & Tourism Management with an emphasis of Meeting & Event Management. I have spent several years in and outside of school in the events industry and absolutely adore it. Our overall goal as a team here is to make clients happy!
