Come experience Pinecrest Gardens where you will have similar experiences and so many more during your visit!
Pinecrest Gardens is a lush, botanical garden located in and managed by the Village of Pinecrest dating back to 1936. It is a 14-acre, historic property that originally housed Parrot Jungle, one of the Miami area’s earliest tourist attractions. Among the highlights of Pinecrest Gardens are the numerous cultural events, concerts, art exhibitions, and family-friendly activities. Seasonal celebrations, holiday festivals, and outdoor evenings add to the charm and appeal for locals and tourists alike. A petting zoo offers an opportunity for children and families to interact with various domestic animals. The garden also features playgrounds, a splash zone play area, picnic areas, and open spaces for leisure activities and gatherings.
Owing to its historical significance, natural beauty, and extensive public programming, Pinecrest Gardens is one of the most significant cultural assets in South Florida. It is a beacon for the residents of the small Pinecrest community in which it is situated and serves as a model of excellence in civic engagement and community history for surrounding communities. Significantly, the citizens of Pinecrest celebrate the spirit of entrepreneurship and civic pride, history, and community through its ongoing support for the preservation and cultivation of Pinecrest Gardens.

Pinecrest Gardens Reviews
Laura Rushing(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 19-03-2022 Gorgeous backdrop for our small, vintage tropical themed wedding ceremony in March 2022. We had our ceremony in the Hammock Pavilion and did not need any additional floral or greenery. Perfect for us and our aesthetic. Thanks so much. Reviewed on 04-04-2022
Alexa Williams(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 11-11-2021 I fell in love with Pinecrest the first time I ever stepped foot onto the property. When I suggested to my husband that he check it out as a potential wedding venue option, within minutes he said “yes, yes this is it”. Our small, intimate wedding of 53 guests utilizing the hammock pavilion, pergola & lake view terrace and cypress hall were perfect !! Elis & Maria we’re fantastic and easy to work with. Everything turned out perfect !!! Reviewed on 01-04-2022
Nicolle Nie(other)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 11-03-2022 Pinecrest was fantastic! It was an absolutely gorgeous venue and the staff was wonderful to work with, very accommodating. As a Wedding Planner I often come in after the venue has been booked by my couples and I was able to step in seamlessly with Pinecrest. My couple was very pleased and the wedding was beautiful. Week of the Wedding the staff Elis, Ryan, Alex, Jose and Cheryl were Rockstars. I can not thank you all enough. Reviewed on 15-03-2022
Benjamin Leis(groom)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 03-07-2020 With such a wide variety of tropical plants we had so many amazing backdrops and landscapes to choose from not just for our photos but also for our ceremony. We love looking at our photos and marveling over the incredible natural beauty of the property. The staff was extremely helpful, responsive and accommodating. Providing us with a tour of the property, use of rooms to prepare and store our cake and assisting us on the day-of with our items and logistics. Reviewed on 07-08-2020
Brittany P(maid of honor)1 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 24-08-2019 Do not waste your time and money here. These people are not organized AT ALL, not accommodating at all and charge a ridiculous amount for such a small space. My best friend tried to rent cypress hall, which is their newest room and largest. It’s absolutely beautiful, but comes with too many restrictions. They have a bunch of furniture in the room (tables, chairs, large sofas, etc.) and on top of the crazy amount they charge for the small space, they want an extra $500 to have the furniture moved around or removed. You’re not allowed to use any of the equipment in the kitchen either except for the sink and the table because it belongs to a coffee shop attached to the hall. No ice machine, nothing. Also, they have tables and chairs on site but it’s not available for cypress hall for whatever reason. We had multiple people telling us different things about what we could and couldn’t do, and it honestly became too confusing and unnecessarily stressful. We tried to write another staff member to see if it was possible to get in touch with the director of the facility to see if we could get permission to move a sofa around since the contract stated we could, as long as permission from the director was granted, and I guess the staff member notified the event coordinator so she wrote us saying we were only allowed to talk to her, and no one else until the day of the wedding. Sketch! They were very prompt with replying to all of our emails and calls all until it came down to asking for our deposit back. Again, sketch. It took several emails and callss throughout the day to finally get a response from the director saying that the refund has been processed. It’s a shame because this venue has a lot of potential to be great but they need to get their stuff in order and be on the same page, and a little more accommodating since their new room doesn’t have much to offer. Thankfully we found a venue not too far from them for the same price and MUCH more space to work with, and comes with tables and chairs. Save yourself the money and the headache and look elsewhere. Myia Woodmont kk(bride)2 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 08-07-2018 I visited this venue this weekend and I got an odd vibe from someone who gave me a tour. It seemed liked the person was not in the mood or did not care to give me a tour. The venue is beautiful but there are a lot of restrictions (no loud music, closes at 5, etc.) Reviewed on 11-11-2017
Cynthia Cortina(bride)3 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 09-03-2013 The venue is absolutely gorgeous and perfect for the type of wedding that we wanted. \r\rHowever, they double booked our wedding date. Luckily, it was almost a year in advance and my other wedding vendors were available to switch the date. In return, they reimbursed me for the full price of the venue, so it was free in the end!\r\rThe staff isn't exceptionally knowledgeable or professional, which you would expect from a venue that is used to hosting weddings and important events. However, everything was seamless the day of the event. \r\rLastly, be aware that they don't allow alcohol on site or music other than that of acoustic musicians. This makes it perfect for a ceremony/photos but not for a reception. Reviewed on 08-04-2013
jacqueline alsina(bride)3 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 10-10-2010 Ok, first of all the place is amazingly beautiful, everyone at the wedding loved it and it was perfect for what we needed for our casual wedding, but its not good for a traditional wedding. It's only good for daytime weddings (they close at five), you really can't have dancing (they don't allow loud music), the rental is only for 4 hours (you have to pay for extra time), they don't provide anything except the space rental, which isnt that big, so if you rent more than one space it gets pricey. The staff isn't very organized, every time i called they would tell something different (example one person told me i could have a tent the other one told me i couldn't etc). They also told me that they never book more than one wedding a day, when we got there the day of there were two other weddings going on. It depends on what you're looking if you want a casual short daytime garden wedding they are perfect. Reviewed on 07-11-2010
