We recently had our wedding at Piney Branch and we could not be happier or say enough good things. Besides it being beautiful and the great food, Emily was a life saver! Every problem we encountered she had a fast solution to it. She was very quick in her response time, always there to answer my millions of emails and made a very stressful time planning and day so much less stressful. She is absolutely amazing at what she does and the venue itself is just so perfect!

My husband and I recently were married at Piney Branch Golf Course and Wedding venue. Wedding planning can be a very stressful experience but not when you have Emily the venue’s event coordinator. Emily goes above and beyond your expectations even when you think things can’t be possible. From last minute changes or odd requests this amazing coordinator made it happen. As far as the venue goes it was absolutely perfect for what we wanted. Perfect setting on the outdoor covered terrace for our marriage and then the inside ballroom was the perfect layout with plenty of space. Our guests are still messaging us about how much they enjoyed the whole wedding. This wouldn’t have been possible without Ms Emily and the gorgeous venue. Thank you very much for making our dream come true. Book this venue TODAY!

My husband and I recently were married at Piney Branch Golf Course and Wedding venue. Wedding planning can be a very stressful experience but not when you have Emily the venue’s event coordinator. I have been dying to write my review of Piney Branch since we signed our contract there over a year ago! From start to finish this venue is TOP KNOTCH. Their wedding planner, Emily, is incredibly easy to work with and very accessible. The venue is beautiful with an outdoor pavilion and indoor ballroom. We got multiple compliments from guests on how beautiful the ballroom was. The best part was how affordable it was and how much it included! I would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a beautiful golf course venue with good food, lots of items included (hello chivari chairs included?!) and a wedding planner that is on it!

As a guest, I was highly impressed with everything. The location, food and service was fantastic. Being in the middle of a pandemic, I was pleased with the masks on policy to help make a special day for the couple a safe day as well.

I want to start off by saying that I didn’t book with this venue but I wish I had! We booked another venue and they treated us extremely poorly once COVID hit. I started reaching out to other venues and Emily was so kind and professional! She had empathy for our situation, explained all of the guidelines and how they could work with us to still make our day what we dreamed of! Unfortunately, our original venue wouldn’t refund us and we had already paid in full, so we decided to suck it up and stick with them but if I could do it all over again, I would have chosen Piney Branch in a heartbeat. Thank you, Emily, for all of your help, suggestions and guidance!

None of these examples are deal breakers individually. However, when I look back I am still frustrated with the lack of communication and empathy on Emily's part.1-There was another coordinator when we booked, she was an absolute delight. Emily's initial introduction email reminded us a lot of the previous coordinator, bubbly and excited to get to work. However this was not the vibe we got on the phone and in person. I can say with 100% confidence we were not bride/groom zillas AT ALL, but we were getting married in the midst of a pandemic so yes, we did have questions. I dealt with her once on the phone and she was so dismissive and cold that I made that my husband's job from then on. It was the same for him-she always sounded like \"I was interrupting something very important or she was just about to leave for the day.\"2-He called her throughout the pandemic to make sure no guideline or rules/laws had changed and her response \"No, I will let you know if anything changes.\" Now it's August, our tasting, 2 months until wedding. Within 5 minutes of sitting she says that masks are required inside and outside. When he asked her why she didn't call us she said \"Well, I mean, it was on the news...\" We still felt it was her job to call and review how this pandemic would impact our wedding. Too late to back out, so we fork up extra money to rent siding for the pavilion and outdoor heaters-we would have rather had it outside than make everyone wear masks. We ran around like crazy (and put down a lot of extra money) to make this new plan work. F.F. to 1 month later-1 month until wedding. When I sit down with her she tells me that masks are no longer a rule because no one follows it once they start drinking. Sooo #1-she made it sounds like it was Hogan's law, when it was in fact THE COUNTRY CLUBS RULE & #2, once again, no call when there was a change.#3-The small-time siding/heater company jumped through hoops for us and we felt terrible cancelling, so even though we didn't need them, we kept the heaters. F.F. to cocktail hour a groomsmen saw old people who were clearly cold trying to turn on the heaters...that were off. He asked Emily why and she said \"They're broken.\" Knowing a company would not send 2 broken heaters he opened the bottom and flipped a switch and they were on, it took seconds. #1-she almost wasted extra money we spent, which we would not have spent in the first place if not for her. #2, instead of \"I can't figure out it out\" she either lied or made a ridiculous assumption that BOTH were broken (& when the company dropped them off they told me they SHOWED HER how to use them.)These were the 3 things that still stick with me. This does not count small incidents like eye rolls to my bridal party and guests when they would ask very normal questions. Overall, Emily seems to despise her job and doesn't like to go out of her way to volunteer information. I completely understand it's a crazy pandemic, but this is your job. Would I book here again? Yes, but knowing what I know now I would have been less passive and non-confrontational. We were so shocked by her unprofessionalism that I don't think we would have handled it the same way if we were expecting it. If you book with her, be assertive and ready to demand answers, because it's like pulling teeth to get information. And be ready for a major attitude.OTHER THAN THAT(: The rest of the staff was WONDERFUL!!! Bartenders, waiters, everyone!!!

We got married last weekend at Piney Branch and had an amazing experience from start to finish! Rachel was super awesome and professional and always quick to answer my (many) questions throughout our year of planning. She was able to work with us to answer question, work within our budget, and work out logistics. The venue itself was gorgeous and we have gotten so many compliments on how beautiful the ceremony (outdoor under the pavilion) and the reception (inside the spacious ballroom) were. The food and the staff were excellent as well. Could not recommend enough!

We have nothing but amazing things to say about Rachel and Piney Branch! Their beautiful facilities, both indoor and outdoor, make hosting a wedding (or any event) a dream. The photos of the day by the recommended photographer came out fantastic. From initial contact and planning, all the way through day of handling, Rachel’s wealth of experience and professionalism shined through. Every question was answered promptly and she gave us a great deal of confidence that every facet of the special day would go off without a hitch. If there were any issues, we never knew about them! If you are looking for a beautiful setting with top notch service, we highly recommend Piney Branch and Rachel.

Piney Branch was the perfect all-inclusive venue for our wedding day! Multiple location options to host your ceremony, both indoor and outdoor (covered and uncovered). Then a spacious ballroom and dance floor for the reception. Plus catering, and beautiful grounds for photography! Rachel was so wonderful in helping us plan every minute of our timeline for the day as well as rallying guests or family, helping set up decorations, keeping vendors on schedule, and calming my nerves when I needed it! She basically acts as your wedding planner for free! We can’t say enough good things about our experience for our special day. You get what you pay for in every penny!

Rachel, my daughter's wedding coordinator was on top of everything from our signing the contract to sending off my daughter and son-in-law at the end of the evening. We loved Piney Branch for our wedding! Super affordable, beautiful and accommodating. All the staff, from the bartenders, waiters, office staff and of course Rachel (the coordinator) were all so wonderful, pleasant and efficient. The venue had so much to offer from those sought after chiavari chairs, centerpiece extras to use and all these little things that add up-made things so less stressful. Food was excellent. All of our guests loved it and had a wonderful time which is really what it’s all about. Can’t go wrong with Piney Branch!

We loved Piney Branch for our wedding! Super affordable, beautiful and accommodating. All the staff, from the bartenders, waiters, office staff and of course Rachel (the coordinator) were all so wonderful, pleasant and efficient. The venue had so much to offer from those sought after chiavari chairs, centerpiece extras to use and all these little things that add up-made things so less stressful. Food was excellent. All of our guests loved it and had a wonderful time which is really what it’s all about. Can’t go wrong with Piney Branch!

The venue has both indoor and outdoor space, with everything you need included. The pavilion was perfect for their outdoor ceremony and everyone enjoyed cocktails on the patio. We LOVED our June wedding at Piney Branch and are still getting compliments on our venue months later! We wanted to hold our reception indoors but have an outdoor entertaining space for the cocktail hour, and Piney Branch fit our vision perfectly! We loved the outdoor pavilion space and ended up not only using it for our cocktail hour but also for dancing. Because we had an off-site church ceremony, Piney Branch was able to have the pavilion all set up for the cocktail hour upon our guests' arrival. We then moved our guests into the ballroom for the bulk of the reception: the wedding party introduction, first dance (on the main indoor dance floor), dinner, toasts, cake cutting, and father/daughter and mother/son dances. The party was then moved back outside to the pavilion as the dance music was kicked up! Our older guests and parents' friends loved this setup, which allowed those not interested in dancing to continue conversing and visiting with each other in the ballroom, away from the dancing and loud music. We continue to get compliments about how ingenious this creation of two spaces was.The venue itself was beautiful: stunning grounds, the signature pavilion, a tasteful ballroom, and chiavari chairs. We love all of our wedding photos on the grounds (Rachel, the wedding coordinator, took us and our photographer and videographer around in golf carts for our portraits!).Overall rating only 4/5 because the food could have been better cooked and was definitely inferior to the food at our tasting. The brussel sprouts were significantly undercooked and the beef tenderloin was overcooked; if I were doing it over again, I would have gone with a less adventurous veggie. The crab cakes, however, were divine, as were all the hors d'oeuvres!

Piney Branch was a wonderful site for a wedding venue! I will start out by saying my husband and I live 6 hours away from where we were getting married (originally from MD but now live and work in NC). That being said, I was incredibly picky when it came to the venue because we had to rely heavily on the venue to be very flexible with our schedule being out of town. We started with Abby who was super helpful, professional, and accommodating. Our wedding was not until October 2016 but since December 2015 was the only time we were home for an extended period of time, we were able to schedule our tasting during then. In September 2016, Abby left and Rachel was her replacement. After our first meeting, I knew right away we were in WONDERFUL hands! Rachel reviewed our contract and clarified any questions that she had to make sure everything was going to go smoothly. Rachel answered every email and phone call immediately and was always able to answer all of our questions. The day before the wedding and the day of the wedding she was available and always there if I had a last minute question. She was professional and accommodating and I could not imagine a more perfect replacement for Abby. She truly made our day as smooth as possible and I have not one change to our day. Piney Branch is a wonderful space with an indoor and outdoor venue, there are spacious bridal party suites, and you have everything at your convenience. The entire staff were incredibly professional and helpful. Everything was set up perfectly. We have not stopped receiving complements on our venue. You cannot go wrong with Piney Branch!

I do not even know where to start. I have absolutely NOTHING bad to say about this venue. My wedding day was everything that I dreamed of and more thanks to Dan and Rose at Piney Branch Golf Club. From the start I was in a crunch because we planned our wedding in just six months. When I called Piney Branch they had my date available and were willing to meet right away to show off their beautiful venue! They were never pushy for an answer and understood wanting to visit a couple venues to make sure we had the perfect fit! From the moment we met Dan and toured the golf club we knew that it was the perfect place. We especially loved the fact that they only do one event a day so we would be their focus for the day. We were married at a church on 7/19/14 and then sent our guests to Piney Branch for a cocktail hour outside under the beautiful pavilion while we had pictures. Then we had our reception inside in the beautiful room overlooking the golf course and it was everything I had ever dreamed of! I can not say enough good things! The food was wonderful (the guests loved everything from the appetizers to the chicken and crab cake sit down dinner we chose) , everything was set up for me and exactly the way that I had imagined, and the communication between Rose (the event coordinator) and I was always open and she was willing to help in any way she could to make sure my day was perfect. Prior to the reception we had pictures outside with the wedding party and then my husband and I were taken by golf cart (my husband got to drive...he loved that part) to a beautiful bridge for some pictures of just the two of us. Dan (the club manager) was with us the entire time and helped with everything from organizing people for pictures to holding the train of my dress while I was walking. It was without a doubt an AMAZING venue and a perfect day that I will never forget thanks to Piney Branch and the wonderful staff!!

From answering my millions of questions, phone calls, and emails to emailing and calling me to remind me of those little details that i forgot, I would use them again in a heart beat!! When I first saw Piney Branch online, I knew this was the place I was going to get married. My husband and I visited the venue and my dreams started to become a reality. The staff is so nice and accommodating which made the wedding planning process much easier. I was in constant contact with Rose. She takes the time to really listen to you and is genuinely interested in how you are doing. From start to finish, everything went smoothly and Dan and Rose made sure of that. I was able to put aside my worries and trust that they would take care of everything. The golf club is gorgeous, and I was getting so many compliments from my friends and family on how beautiful it was. I would highly recommend it for a wedding or any special event!

Great Location with beautiful views for photos. My only minor complaint was te amount of response time to calls or emails. Other then that the food was delicious, the servers friendly and the venue itself was clean, and perfect.

From start to finish I loved working with the owner, who was very involved and was present at the reception, and his amazing staff! The food at the tasting and the actual even were top notch! We chose to do a buffet and picked three 'meals' worth of items for guests to chose from, they could get at much or little as they wanted! They were efficient in replacing diminished dishes and in taking care of guests. There were many more service staff for our event then I was expecting, which only meant more attention was paid to my family, guests, bridal party, and the groom and myself. I could go on forever, but just trust me. Call the venue and set up a meeting, you won't be disappointed!

Aziz made our experience with Piney Branch wonderful from the very beginning. During our initial visit, we and our families felt very welcomed by Aziz. We had a specific date in mind, and when we decided to go with Piney Branch for our wedding reception, Aziz went out of his way to accommodate us on that date. During our tasting, we felt at home and were able to try anything and everything we wanted. To make the experience even better, everything we tasted was absolutely delicious!\r\rOn the day of the wedding, we were running a bit behind schedule due to a long ceremony and lots of pictures to take. Aziz and his staff shifted our planned timing as needed to ensure our guests were able to enjoy the cocktail hour, and got dinner out as quickly as possible as soon as we were ready. We had steak and crab cake, and our guests raved about the food as we knew they would. The staff were also extremely helpful, and we did not need to worry about a thing. They let us know when it was time for father/daughter and mother/son dances, and directed us when it was time to cut our cake, throw the bouquet and remove the garter. We had such a fun time dancing that we did not want to leave! We asked Aziz if we could extend our reception for an extra hour and he quickly accommodated our request. When the party finally ended, the staff at Piney Branch took care of everything from getting our flowers together to wrapping our cake topper and helping us pack up our things.\r\rOverall, I would recommend Piney Branch to anyone who wants to have a wonderful and worry-free wedding reception! Piney Branch was about a half hour from our ceremony location, but we (and our guests) felt it was well worth the drive. Thank you to Aziz and everyone at Piney Branch for making our wedding reception such an amazing time!

The weather was beautiful which complemented the cocktail hour on the covered pavilion giving guests a great view of the golf course and surrounding area. Aziz and his staff did everything to accommodate us and our guests. His staff is detail oriented and take pride in their work. The food was absolutely amazing!! The covered patio just outside the banquet room offered high top tables for guests to enjoy a lovely evening while still being part of the party inside. The layout of the room was easy to navigate and provided an intimate atmosphere. I highly recommend Piney Branch to any bride & groom looking for the perfect place for their perfect day!!!

My wedding was picture perfect. The club manager, Aziz, was the perfect host. He helped us every step of the way. Every detail was attended to. The food was unbelievable. My guests went on and on about the food which was not your typical wedding type of food. The seafood alfredo was a huge hit. I received so many phone calls the day after my wedding from family and friends who said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. I feel that is largely in part due to the staff, Aziz and his staff took care of our every desire. From the beautiful pavillion where we got married to the stunning ballroom. They allowed me to enjoy my wedding day! You really need to check this place out! You won't be sorry.

Piney Branch Golf Club is a great place for a wedding reception! They are very accommodating, friendly, and reasonably priced. Aziz worked with us from day 1 and helped us to plan our entire day. Working with Aziz took alot of pressure off of me. He took care of everything for the day of the wedding! The grounds are beautiful and the food was amazing! I would recommend using Piney Branch!

The first thing that we noticed about Piney Branch was that the first thing the coordinator, Aziz, said was, you CAN do this and we WILL do that, as opposed to other venues who start spitting out all the don'ts as soon as you walk in the door. Aziz was more accommodating that I could have ever dreamed and as he stated when we first met with him, they are not a cookie cutter place. This was my wedding and he wanted the venue to reflect my husband and I. Aziz was there for us every step of the way (including staying at the entire reception) and didn't miss a beat. As anal as I am, he saw to it that every detail I envisioned came to life. The food was INCREDIBLE and came out exactly as presented at the tasting. The grounds were gorgeous and our pictures turned out absolutely perfect with the beautifully manicured course. The staff were all friendly and helpful! I can't say enough wonderful things about Piney Branch- see for yourself!

Emily Murphy (Director of Catering) Emily has been with Piney Branch for seven years, and has enjoyed every aspect of working weddings and events. She is a graduate of the University of Maryland. When she is not helping couples put together their perfect day, she is hiking, cooking, or going to concerts with friends.
