We looked at 3 venues on Ft Myers Beach and could not be happier we chose the Pink Shell. Right from the beginning, Dony was so easy to work with and so attentive to every detail and bringing the wedding we envisioned to life in a way that felt effortless for us. We were able to do a tasting to choose our menu, and the food is fantastic. The staff is all very kind, welcoming, and catered to any random request we had. There were so many personal touches Dony added on the day of the wedding, including adding extra string lights and repurposing some of our ceremony decorations for the cocktail hour and reception. Soooo many of our guests told us it was the best wedding they had ever been to. Even though the Pink Shell has several weddings a week, it always felt like Dony had time for us and was focused specifically on our wedding if we emailed her with a question or wanted to tour the space again. We couldn't recommend the Pink Shell more. It is a 100% personalized experience and we LOVED every aspect of it from the beginning of the planning stages until the wedding day and even the communication afterward. We have already booked a room for our one-year anniversary! Overall, the Pink Shell and Dony made our wedding magical!!

I'm not even sure where to begin, as we're still so overwhelmed with happiness from our wedding day. It was truly perfect, and we cannot thank the staff at Pink Shell enough. It was everything we wanted and more, and the staff went above and beyond. They helped us during a rain delay, and Dony made sure our vision for a beach wedding came true. They also very gracefully removed a man from the beach who was yelling hateful things during our same sex ceremony. They did it so flawlessly that we had NO clue it was occurring. They were willing to do anything in their power to ensure our day was not ruined. The decor was amazing; the flow of the events; the food; the drinks....all of it. People LOVED our bartenders as well. There was not a rude person to be found and every single staff member could not have been kinder. To mention a few people specifically who made our day epic, I would like to say that Dony, Billy P, Edison, Maria, Ramon, Vladimir, Lloyd, and Pfillany were the most professional, helpful, and devoted staff during our events. You will NOT find a better wedding planner than Dony, and you will not find a better location than the Pink Shell. We are thankful to them forever <3

I had my daughter's wedding here on 4/25/21. It was beyond beautiful! Dony and the staff are excellent. Everything is included in the price, decorated wedding arch, chairs on the beach, water station, passed hors d'oeuvres for cocktail hour, linens, chair covers and bows, table runners, centerpieces, charger plates, etc. It was the picture perfect beach wedding with a reception indoors. The ballroom was just redone and is absolutely beautiful.

Getting married in 2020 was one of the hardest things I have gone through but having Dony as my wedding planner made everything so simple. Every problem I ran into because of covid she assured me everything will be ok. Everyone asks how I did it and I could not have gotten through the wedding planning aspect without her, she was truely amazing to me, my husband, and all of our guests. She made everything run so smoothly and my day was what every bride deserves, beautiful and stress free! I felt like an absolute princess and was most definitely treat as one. As for the pink shell I would pick this venue over and over again. From the staff to the resort itself everything was perfect. All my guests complimented our choice over and over again. It wasn’t just a wedding but a vacation for all of my family and closets friends. We were so well taken care of, I plan to continue family vacations here yearly. Thank you again to Dony and the staff at Pink Shell Beach Resort and Marina, you exceeded my expectations times 10 and made all my dreams come true 👏🏻

I cannot rave enough about how fantastic everyone is at the Pink Shell!! They have a fan for life in me! We held our wedding ceremony/reception there on 11/23/2020 and everything went off perfectly! Dony, Charlotte and their team are exceptional at what they do. Not to mention the time Dony spent talking me off the ledge every other week it seemed worrying about Covid! She went above and beyond throughout the entire year leading up to our big day. She truly made the planning process stress-free! The entire staff at the resort is amazing as well. The resort has an amazing beach (of course), but also an adorable hidden garden that was perfect for our first look and bridal party photos. I cannot say enough good about having my destination wedding at Pink Shell! I recently got married on Feb. 24th 2019. From the first moment we had communication with Dony (Pink Shell Wedding Planner) in 2018 we knew we were in good hands. Dony alone was one of the top reasons we chose to have our wedding here, she made the entire process of planning a destination wedding a breeze! (We live in Chicago)Before we got engaged, we knew we wanted a destination wedding. We visited SW Florida once in Jan 2018; after viewing 3 total venues we were 100% confident we wanted Pink Shell as our venue, and we actually picked it the day we visited. Dony was very easy to communicate with, the resort and beach is beyond beautiful, and we knew everything would be handled professionally and effectively. After our initial visit to Fort Myers Beach, all communication was done through email or by phone with Dony. She took all the stress of planning a destination wedding away, she was always organized and easily accessible to answer all questions and concerns.Fast forward to THE wedding day..Our wedding had a total of around 32 guests, traveling from all over the US and Europe. EVERYONE was in agreement that it was one of the most beautiful weddings they have seen. All weekend, Dony and the staff at Pink Shell were helpful, calm, and most importantly excited for our big day! Dony assured us from the moment we landed in Florida, EVERYTHING would be handled and it was our job to ENJOY the moment. Dony was just a text away if we needed ANYTHING. Myself and the girls arrived early on the day of the wedding, and Dony accommodated us is a BEAUTIFUL two bedroom suite that overlooked the gorgeous pool and beach. (The rooms make for gorgeous photography). The staff at Pink Shell was more than accommodating for a crazy wedding party running around making sure everything is perfect and the bar served perfect drinks to our guests who arrived early. Fast forward to the ceremony; we opted for a beach ceremony. The décor was done perfectly, white sand was raked, and shockingly enough we had no interruptions from beach-goers and only a few onlookers who slowly made their way by, but this comes with having a ceremony on the beach. I may be bias but the photography from my ceremony is some of the most beautiful scenery I’ve seen in wedding photos. The rest of the night flew by, but the reception in Banyan Grove was intimate and wonderful. We had no interruptions from resort guests and the staff was very accommodating. I HAVE to mention how DELICIOUS the food was, from the passed HorDourves, to the buffet, to the cake provided by Lady Cakes (included in the wedding package with Pink Shell) everything was phenomenal and had wonderful reviews with guests. Also part of the wedding package, we received a night stay in a honeymoon suite (my husband and I stayed in the beautiful suite as mentioned above so we never had to move our bags or belongings around). The room was complete with champagne, chocolate covered strawberries, waiting for us when we returned and the Jacuzzi bath made for a perfect relaxing night after our absolutely perfect wedding day. I may have gone into too much detail, but I’m passionate about giving credit where credit is due and Dony and the staff at Pink Shell made my wedding day beyond what I would have ever dreamed of.

If you want a beach wedding of your dreams, the Pink Shell is the place to go on Fort Myers Beach! This was hands down the most elegant and beautiful day I could have ever imagined! Charlotte at the Pink Shell was so incredibly important in making all of my visions come to light and she was so responsive that I could get multiple emails per day answered when I needed it. This was such a great experience and it was made easy even while planning out of state. It was a little more expensive than the other options, but trust me when I say it was well worth it and we made the right choice.

On our wedding day the ceremony and reception were set up just how I imagined everything in my head, perfection. Dony was very helpful with my dress too, she tied it up before the wedding and bustled it before the reception. She was always there for guidance too so we looked like we knew what we were doing. I would recommend this venue to anyone looking to get married in Southwest Florida.

Everything about The Pink Shell was perfect! Dony, the coordinator, was the best. She was very responsive and helpful leading up to the wedding. On our wedding day the ceremony and reception were set up just how I imagined everything in my head, perfection. Everything was perfect!!! We had a 3 day party, family & friend’s reunion, sunset beach wedding and reception on October 13, 2018. From the planning stages through the end of our stay we were given white glove service. Our wedding planner Dony was amazing! I have already recommended Dony and the Pink Shell as the ideal wedding experience to several friends. Can I just say... WOW! The Pink Shell was the best decision I’ve ever made. My wedding was a true dream come true thanks to Charlotte at the PS. I booked my venue blind (had never been there or anywhere in the area) and I was so amazed at how clean, upscale and fun the resort was! I booked around 10 rooms and every single person had such a great time and were so happy with their rooms. The space in the rooms are literally unbelievable. The balcony’s are huge and very spacious. All the staff were so nice and made you feel like you were right at home! I’ve never had a hotel experience like the stay I had at the Pink Shell. My husband and I cannot wait to come back in June 2019 for our one year anniversary! If you’re contemplating which venue to book for your wedding... STOP! My husband and I recently got married at the Pink Shell Beach Resort and it was absolutely beautiful! We are so grateful for our wedding consultant, Charlotte Byrne. From the first day we met Charlotte, we knew she was the one we wanted to help plan and coordinate our special day. We were looking for a simple yet elegant ceremony and reception on a budget. Charlotte was full of ideas and suggestions that helped us stay within our budget. Charlotte has a sweet and charming personality. She is honest and always tries to accommodate to what a couple desires. She was a gem to work with! Charlotte was always accessible through email and replied promptly. Charlotte had told me that all I needed to do on my wedding day was to enjoy the day! That’s exactly what I did! Charlotte took care of everything, from the rehearsal procession down to our reception. All my husband and I did that day was enjoy every moment with one another and our loved ones. The original catering sales manager we worked with left the Pink Shell a couple of months before our wedding, and while we were a little nervous about the transition, Charlotte immediately put us at ease and made it as smooth as possible. She worked so hard on the day of our wedding to coordinate with the outside vendors and let us enjoy our day. The best part of our Pink Shell wedding, however, was how little we had to do. We were planning our Florida wedding from all the way in Virginia, but the Pink Shell took care of most of the details, and all the decor they provided was beautiful. The catering was absolutely amazing, and our package also included bar service. For the few outside vendors we did have to book, the Pink Shell was super helpful in providing recommendations. Finally, I cannot say enough about how gorgeous the beach is. I cried happy tears as soon after we left our first visit because it is exactly the location I had always dreamed of. I know that our guests who stayed at the the resort also took full advantage of all the accommodations, and both the bridesmaid and honeymoon suite were perfect for getting ready and for our wedding night. Dony is the ultimate calm, cool and collected wedding planner who knows her stuff, inside and out. Leave it to Dony to make the even run smoothly. My daughter and I were planning for a year for this special day and wanted it in Fort Myers Beach where we have a winter home. Once Dony gave us a tour of Pink Shell, we were hooked. It truly was our only option on Fort Myers Beach and far exceeded our expectations by wedding day. Just as Dony said when we first met with her, \"Just show up, relax and enjoy yourself. We will take care of everything.\" And they did! All guests gave rave compliments of the resort and the entire long weekend with wedding and reception. My daughter and I tend to pay attention to the finest details and Dony pulled this off with Pink Shell's incredible staff. Truly every single person was the best of their profession. Dony suggested Libby's Flowers on Gladiolus for our floral arrangements and Dalia hit it out of the park. After the wedding, the flowers lasted for days on end, out on our veranda in the 85 degree full-sunshine. The mother of the groom has been a wedding planner for 35 years and was very impressed with Dony and holds her with very high esteem. The food from Jacks for the reception was delicious!! What a combination, Libby's Flowers and Dony Lubig!!!!! No worries, they take care of everything for the special day!

The Pink Shell Beach Resort was the perfect place for my daughter's wedding in October. Dony was our wedding coordinator and was so accommodating to our every need (and countless emails). Even after Hurricane Irma came through Ft Myers in September and Dony had her own home to take care of, she made sure were put at ease that all would be good for the wedding! And WOW it sure was! Everything turned out just perfect. We had the ceremony on the beach, and reception outside (Captiva Courtyard) and the setting could not have been prettier. And the vendors Dony recommended for music, cake, flowers, etc. were all top notch. Dr. Dan (Minister) was awesome too. We had 60+ guests and most of them stayed several nights at the resort and everyone had a fantastic time. Accommodations were great, breakfast each day was awesome, and having the use of umbrellas, chairs, kayaks, etc. made for a great vacation for all! The Pink Shell Beach Resort was the perfect place! Thank you Dony for all you did to make it all happen!

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Pink Shell Resort. It was absolutely perfect. We worked with Dony who was amazing and truly made the day run so smooth I had no other worry then to have fun! We live out of state so that was a worry of mine with the planning, but Dony does an incredible job and I really trusted her with it all. As for the resort, I found it fun and relaxing. The rooms are nice, staff is exceptional, and there are several things to do such as dining, going to the pool, the beach, kayaking, etc. I found the resort worth the price and would highly recommend this resort for a wedding destination!

The Pink Shell is an awesome wedding venue. We were married at the resort in late January and we could not be happier. Choosing a venue for a destination wedding can be very challenging but the Pink Shell was the perfect choice. The resort had spacious rooms, all with a beach view, three pools, and several restaurants with great food and included many amenities in the price (breakfast coupons, beach chairs, towels, kayaks, complimentary valet). The marina was right across the street. Due to its convenient location, less than a mile from the center of the beach town, guests were able to walk (or take the trolley) to town to explore the pier and enjoy additional bars and restaurants. This environment made it very easy for guests to gather, relax, and enjoy themselves – and they did. From the time we first spoke to Dony Lubing, the wedding specialist/event manager, we knew we were in good hands. She has a charming personality and worked closely with us from the planning to the day after (even delivering the rented table decorations back to the florist and mailing my husband’s sweater that he left behind). She offered a list of local vendors for us to consider, but there was no requirement to use them. She coordinated with all of the vendors to make sure that everything worked like clockwork. The rooms she chose for the bride and groom and parents had spectacular views. She managed around some weather challenges to take advantage of different ceremony locations available on site. She was there behind the scenes at all times. We can’t say enough about the level of service that we received from the entire staff at the Pink Shell. The guests raved about the food prepared by the Pink Shell chef and staff at the wedding. And, most importantly, we had so much fun!

The Pink Shell made all my dreams come true! I couldnt of dreamed about a more amazing wedding. Ashley and Shannon were so amazing through the entire planning process and answered every one of my questions and made everything perfect! The pink shell went above and beyond to make our wedding day so special. This was not only our reception site but our ceremony and hotel for guests. For a destination wedding I thought I would be stressed but my amazing wedding planner Ashley (from the pink shell) made everything go off without a hitch. Our ceremony was on the beach, we had cocktail hour and dinner outside in the courtyard and the party in the ballroom. You never realize how much planning goes into a wedding until you see your vision on your wedding day. Ashley and I had the same ideas and I trusted her with everything, I knew she would make everything beautiful. The pink shell provides centerpieces for your tables, an arch for the ceremony and gives a list of vendors who have worked with the pink shell for other weddings. I felt so calm the whole day and I didn't feel like I missed anything. Destination weddings are the way to go and if you want a stress free wedding, do it at the pink shell!!!!

We couldn't have asked for a better destination wedding venue in Southwest Florida. The staff at the Pink Shell Resort & Marina were amazing. Very caring and had excellent service. Comparable to any 5-star resort. Dony Lubig was our event coordinator and she was absolutely wonderful. She was very meticulous in her planning and how the event was setup and carried thru the evening. Everything from the beach stage to the reception area was superb and we couldn't have asked for more. The food for the reception was extremely tasty. We loved all of it. \rMost of our guests were from out of town so having everyone stay there made the event so much better. My family was impressed with the rooms and service. The group rate was very affordable and Dony placed our guests in 1BR Villas and we were in a 2BR Villa. The rooms were super-clean and modern with outstanding views of the Ocean and the sunsets were awesome. The amenities on the beach like cabanas, paddleboarding, kayaking and waiter services were nice. Many other things to do in the in the area making it an all-inclusive venue. \rWe are in awe of how our wedding event panned out… couldn't have had a better time anywhere else.\r\rSome other staff that were really awesome and worth mentioning was Bob (Bellman) and Julio (reception bartender) along with all the front desk staff. Bob was always there for us.. helpful and kind. \rWe will be going back there for another weekend just for the heck of it very soon. We can't wait. We highly recommend this venue for your wedding or event needs.

She made our dreams come true and did everything we asked her and more. The hotel itself was beautiful, the food was amazing, the ceremony at the beach was breathtaking, and the Captiva Ballroom was just incredible. We had the most amazing day of our lives and this was mostly because of Dony and the Pink Shell Beach Resort! I would do it all over and in the exact same way (maybe only make it last longer because the time flew by!)

Amazing wedding the exceeded my expectations. Dony was always available to answer any questions or concerns I had. The day of, she was very organized and took all the stress off of me. All we had to do is provide the decorations, party favors, etc. we wanted and she set everything out. The bartenders and servers were on top of everyone and catered very well to myself and husband. My husband and I were married in December 2011 at the Pink Shell Beach Resort and Spa. We would highly recommend this venue to brides and grooms who are looking for a fairytale beach wedding that they will never forget . The Pink Shell offers something for everyone, which makes this a no brainer for destination wedding such as ours. \r\rWhen my husband and I got engaged in August of 2010 we had already shared our hopes and dreams of getting married on a white sandy beach with all of our loved ones there to watch. My husband and I live in Omaha, Ne now which is landlocked and we knew we’d better begin searching for our sandy beach elsewhere. Since my husband’s is from Miami and I am from Baltimore we began our search in Fort Myers.\r\rPlanning from afar immediately seemed like a challenge. After web surfing and numerous calls and emails exchanged with not so responsive staff I was beginning to feel frustrated, that was until I started my communication with Dony at the Pink Shell. Dony is a dedicated professional who goes well above and beyond the job description to ensure that your wedding is everything you’ve ever dreamed of. From our initial email correspondence and phone conversations Dony was warm and responsive, she made me feel like I mattered and that the Pink Shell was interested in having my business. She made me feel like she had a genuine interest in helping my husband and I achieve our dream wedding. \r\rAlthough planning from thousands of miles away, it was a breeze with Dony. She was always just a phone call away. Throughout the entire process she listened with intent and I could tell she understood my vision of having Cuban themed food and an elegant holiday backdrop. Additionally she truly has a gift for planning and an incredible eye for detail. She was always one step ahead of me and prompted me with thoughtful and guiding questions. When I arrived at the resort days before the wedding Dony was prepared and available. Her cool, calm, and collected nature put me at ease. She assisted us in taking care of last minute details such as printing out pictures that we forgot, seating arrangements, and gathering all the decorations into one area. \r\rThe day of the wedding moved like clockwork. Dony was up early setting up the perfect backdrop for our beach wedding. She pre-coordinated with all our vendors (all of which she recommended, and who were all incredible) and they all worked seamlessly with and around each other. Everyone was on time and they far exceeded my expectations. As I walked into the Captiva ballroom where our reception would be held I was moved to tears. With the decorations that we had provided Dony, she had transformed the ballroom into a magical and stunning venue that was full of warmth and love. Dony coordinated our entire day, every moment and every detail wouldn’t have been possible without her. My husband and I are from IL and we flew down to Florida one time just to pick a venue and when we walked into the Pink Shell we knew that was it. Very friendly staff, good drinks and food and on the beach. It is very comfortable and great for couples or famlies. After deciding on the Pink Shell for our wedding it got even better. Dony was our wedding coordinator and she was awesome! Went above and beyond. Our wedding day was beautiful and more than I had ever imagined. It was truly an unforgettable day.

Nothing short of incredible thanks to EVERYONE at the Pink Shell. I Cannot thank Maredith enough for all of her help coordinating everything from the start to finish. From the moment my guests stepped into the resort the customer service was impeccable. They treated the Bride and Groom like King and Queen for the entire stay. The place was beautiful, fun atmosphere, well kept and just a relaxing place to bring our wedding guests and party. I couldn't have wanted any other way. The wedding coordinator for the Pink Shell, Dony Lubig, went above and beyond and I felt no stress with her taking care of everything and then some. Truly Amazing and there are not enough thank you's to her and the Pink Shell for making my wedding event a dream come true.

My wedding was February of 2010 and I could not have asked for more than what the Pink Shell provided. My ceremony was on the beach and was absolutely beautiful with the stair case that I was able to walk down for a grand entrance to the setup on the beach and the seating for my guests. The reception was held on the pool deck, and although it was a bit chilly the hotel provided heaters that completed the perfect night. The scenery was perfect and the food was the best I have ever had anywhere, never mind at a wedding. For serving so many people at once, the food was cooked perfect and was delicious. They thought of every detail, if I was to do my wedding over, It would still be at the Pink Shell, their service is well above average! They were amazing and created the perfect day for my husband and I.
