We loved the idea of having our ceremony and reception all in the same place, with in-house catering and bar as well. They made it so easy to plan our day! We were assigned an event manager at the beginning of the process, and we found out a few months in to the planning process that she was leaving and we would be getting a new manager, Andrea. Andrea made the transition process a breeze and picked up exactly where our first manager left off! She answered all the questions we had and happily accommodated us when we had to have our food tasting while she was out of town. All of the Pinstripes staff that we came in contact with from the initial planning stages to the very end of the wedding night were fantastic! The food was delicious and we absolutely loved that it was served family style. The venue was beautiful and having bocce ball during cocktail hour and bowling during the reception was a blast. Pinstripes was perfect because of the casual atmosphere and tons of natural light. For the most part, my family and my fiance's family had not met prior to the wedding. Having bocce for cocktail hour made it way easier for everyone to get to know eachother! Eric Itow(groom)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 24-03-2019 My first career and still passion is cooking and so good food was a very important aspect to our wedding. We were also looking for a very affordable wedding for around 100 guests (with +1, 50 invites). Normally these two things don't go together. Finally I wanted a buffet and not platted. This is because I've been to plenty of weddings/ formal events where tables wait so long that by the time the food comes out its cold...To be honest... Pinstripes was the last place on our list, just a filler so we could get a 3rd place to visit and get a feeling for what we want. After touring the place and talking to the event coordinator we were hooked. We went with a Sunday Brunch (who dosent love breakfast?). A FULL buffet that blew us away... Omelet bar, waffle bar, meat carver, & a freaking chocolate fountain!Because it was a Sunday and there was no other event we got the whole ballroom (splits into 3 spaces by divider walls) which was plenty of space. Probably could have fit 150 people with the buffet in the ballroom. We got all this for $22 + tax&tip. We provided unlimited mimosa and bloody marie's 4 bowling lanes 3 boccie ball lanes and a bartender for a total (estimating 2 drinks per person, free soda and juice) of about $45 a person. Our while wedding was under $5,000.Great value service and food. The event coordinator was there with us the whole time and made it sooo easy to plan the day of.The only gripe I had was that the bloody mary bar was not stocked with the add-ons for over half the wedding. Other than that it was perfect and we had a great time!Everyone told us they were floored by the food and service and they have never heard of the place. We definitely will keep this as one of our top brunch places from now on. Reviewed on 06-10-2019

The day of our wedding there were a few things wrong - our draping was not as we ordered, the menus we purchased were nowhere to be found for our guests, one table didnât get part of a course and there was not enough dessert at the end of the night. With that being said....Pinstripes in Edina was the perfect fit! We personally dealt with Hannah who did everything in her power to make it our perfect day!!! She checked in almost everyday to see if anything changed and give ideas! We decided to pick the deluxe package because it included linens which we wanted to help reduce the stress of searching for decor. We decorated the areas ourselves and I was embarrassingly happy that we could have open flame candles! Most places I searched did not allow them. We also decided to have the ceremony at Pinstripes which helped reduce more stress! They only charged extra for the chairs! We had about 40 people in attendance. (adults and kids) Each adult came out to be about $95 and for each kid it was about $45. They included a 5 course meal (apps, salad, pasta, entree, vegetables, and dessert) 4 hour bar package (wine, beer, and house liquors and cocktails) and 4 hour drink package which was everything from pop to milk! I can not praise Pinstripes enough for how quick we were able to work everything out and how amazing it turned out!!! And not to mention how beautiful the outside area is! The staff did such a good job! They were easy to talk to and accommodating. They were efficient and respectful. The actual event was perfect for anyone that attended. We did a courthouse ceremony (which I highly recommend) and had dinner and a larger reception at Pinstripes. There was dancing in the ballroom, along with a caricature artist, beautiful view of Centennial lakes from the balcony, a bonfire on the balcony, open bar (included in the packages), and bowling. There was something for everyone. I could not recommend the event at Pinstripes more. It was perfect for what we were looking for. I really liked the packages they offered. The wedding package included the cake, so I did not have to worry about coordinating that. Overall, our guests had a great time, and so did we and we had very little stress the night of, which was exactly what we wanted.Seeing is at was my first time getting married or planning a large event, I was not sure what to expect in terms of coordination with a venue. I think it is important to remember the basis for the event managerâs job is sales and that is their primary focus (They call themselves event SALES managers). In working with Pinstripes, I felt like there were things said to us in the beginning of our planning that did not hold true later when we asked about it. For example, we were told we could reserve the bowling lanes, then give them back to the venue to offer to other people if needed at a later date. We did reserved all the lanes, but as we were planning, our vision changed slightly. The coordinator we were working with then told us this was not possible, so we were responsible for paying for all of the lanes. It was a little frustrating that there was no room for flexibility and that the coordinator we started with and felt comfortable with was changed midway through our planning. This left us feeling like we got a little lost in the pile of events they were working on. The second event manager did not know us at all. We were an event she was planning on a piece of paper. She did not know or even really seem to care about our vision of our wedding, nor did she take the time to help us. Every time we met, the conversation felt rushed, like taking time to actually talk to her clients was an inconvenience. Even on the event night, the event manager said âI am here tonight.â That was the only time I saw her.We were wed on May 6th, 2017 Reviewed on 08-05-2017

Sarah Phanco(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 02-10-2016 Absolutely amazing. Everything you could ever want for a fun wedding day Service: The staff were incredibly responsive - with questions answered immediately through the whole wedding process. They are in the business of fantastic service, and having one venue that took care of food, drinks, tables/linens, lighting etc meant I barely needed to do a thing. They came to check in with me a few times through the evening to ensure everything was what I had expected and to address any unmet needs.Venue: Plenty of space for whatever size of wedding you are going to have. We were a little worried we had too much space with a wedding of around 55 people, but it ended up being absolutely perfect. The balcony was available to us as well all night so our guests could either be inside dancing the night away or outside with some crisp fall air. The decor there with wine barrels and huge open windows meant it already had a lot of great elements to design around. Food and drinks: No one around had a single complaint about the food. Everyone raved about it. We were able to provide so many choices for our guests due to the family style option, that no one felt like they couldn't have something that they would not like (so much better than a \"chicken, beef, or vegetarian option in my opinion!). We opted for the gelato bar which everyone LOVED. The drinks may have been a little more pricey with the package, but given the quality of the drinks - it is WELL worth it!Entertainment: We initially weren't sure how our guests would react to the bocce and bowling, but WOW was that a hit!! We got back from our taking pictures about an hour into game time, and it was as if all of our guests didn't even realize we were gone and were having tons of fun without us!! It made for a truly unique experience of having people get to know one another more rather than just knowing the 7 other people you may sit with at dinner. So many people told us that our wedding was the most fun wedding that they had been to in years. If you want to have a wedding to remember, this is the place for some fun! Stephanie S(bride)1 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 26-07-2017 Wedding reception October 2014. Beautiful , fun space; great food; horrible service. The space and atmosphere were wonderful and fun for everyone, and the food was delicious. We had bowling and bocce as well, which was a hit with our guests, especially the kids. The only negative part of the experience was the service. Absolutely terrible service! Unless they have improved on that area I cannot recommend Pinstripes for an event. The wait staff was very rude. We had family style meals served for the adults and menus were supposed to be available at the kids table for them to order whatever they wanted to eat. That did not happen and the kids sat with no food for almost 2 hours. We paid for cake cutting and service, but when it was time the waiters said they don't cut cake or serve it. We asked for a manager and he argued with us as well. Finally, when he checked our contract he agreed to cut the cake. They took both the grooms cake and our wedding cake in the back to cut and brought out a few plates. It took so long for them to come back out, that most of the guests were already in the bowling and bocce area and did not eat the cake and the grooms cake was never cut. We had one cake completely untouched and the other 80% untouched. We also paid to have an ice cream bar that was to be served as well. They didn't say anything, and who knows when they wheeled it out, but they just left it there in a corner and didn't serve anything so it all melted before anyone noticed it. That was not eaten either. The bowling and bocce was fun for all, but again, terrible service. You pay for a certain amount of time and have a scheduled time the lanes turn on for your event. There was another event there and people in our time slot. There were no reserved signs and they didn't make any efforts to coordinate the switch. We had to find a staff person to ask if they could open up the lanes for us. The waiter said it had to be turned on for our event and that we had to tell people to move, then he just walked away. Talk about awkward position being the bride and groom and having to ask people to move. Once we got that rearranged, we had also lost time that we had paid for. Despite the bad service, I don't think our guests really noticed much. The atmosphere is good and the space is fun. It just put stress on us trying to figure out what was going on and making sure things were being served etc. Not something you want to have to worry about on your wedding day. Plus, a lot of wasted time and food that was paid for went to waste. I would say the worst part of the evening was the manager on duty. He was so rude and snotty. I called to complain after the fact and did eventually get a return follow up from a higher manager weeks later. It wasn't until then that I received an apology, and a refund for the cake service and ice cream. Even though that manager tried to make it right by refunding those two things, and the food and atmosphere are great, I would not recommend based off of the service. Service really makes all the difference and the poor experience put a damper on our event. Reviewed on 26-05-2016

I have a husband who hates going to weddings and wanted to elope who is now saying we should have a second wedding because it was so fun! The food was amazing, the rooms are fantastic, and the view is spectacular. All of our guests commented that they had never been to a wedding where they were so torn between the dance floor and all the fun activities. a member (bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 10-10-2015 I don't know where to start with the review of Pinstripes. The entire process was seamless and so much fun! \r\rThe SERVICE: The staff was available any time for questions, and they went above and beyond normal customer service. I loved that they did almost everything, from food, to drink and they even set up the reception! I dropped off all decorations and the staff set everything up during the day off, so I did not need to do anything. \r\rThe SPACE: We had enough guests to book out the entire upper floor and it was amazing. The balcony was available to us as well and it never felt cramped. We did not need much for decoration since the building is newer and they already had great permanent pieces/decor that we worked into the overall look. \r\rThe DRINKS: The drink packages are expensive, but we had a later wedding and were able to keep the bar open for the ENTIRE reception and since it was per person and not based on consumption, we did not need to worry about the bill. The options they have surpass any wedding I have ever been. There was something for everyone and the cocktail service made everything easier. \r\rThe FOOD: Everything was so delicious and even better than I remembered from the tasting. Everyone was stuffed and raved about the food. We were able to provide so many choices, that it did not have the normal wedding feel. \r\rThe ENTERTAINMENT: We had dancing, bowling, bocce and a fire pit... There was so much to do that our guests stayed all night. We also brought our own lawn jenga that guests could play with. \r\rIf you want to have a wedding to remember, this is the place to go. The food, drinks, entertainment and atmosphere was 10x better than any wedding I have ever been to. It was nontraditional without being rebellious. I will recommend this to anyone and everyone. We saw our wedding coordinator as we were setting up showing a potential customer around. We had a great event coordinator who helped to put our minds at ease in the months leading up to our day. I e-mailed her frequently and she always responded promptly and accurately to my questions. Our guests loved Pinstripes for the reasons we thought they would - It's a unique venue with AMAZING food. I've had guests tell me it's the best food they've ever had at a reception! We chose the family style service and everyone liked this. Our guests also appreciated the variety of entertainment options available to them - We had a band playing in the ballroom, and rented out the 3 bocce ball courts for 2 hours and 2 lanes of bowling for 3 hours. Guests also really enjoyed the large wrap-around deck with fire pit. I loved that there were different entertainment options to suit everyone's preferences. The only snag was in locating some of our decorations - We had dropped them off the day before our wedding so that our decorators could simply show up and decorate the morning of. Because I had several boxes, they ended up being placed throughout Pinstripes and our decorating crew spent time trying to locate everything they needed the morning of the wedding. However, all of this was partly my fault because I didn't tell our coordinator in advance the number of boxes we would be dropping off the day before the wedding. Had I done that, she maybe would have been able to tell me that this was too many to store in one convenient spot. I'd also recommend having a very organized system for packing up your decorations at the end of the night. A couple things were left behind and it was a little difficult to locate them in the days following the wedding. However, our coordinator was persistent and eventually found what we were missing. So, if you are really organized with your decorations, you shouldn't have a problem! Overall, we would highly recommend Pinstripes for a wedding reception venue! Reviewed on 12-10-2015

Good service and very happy with the venue overall.\r\rThe only thing they could have done better was to provide a more dedicated day-of co-ordinator. \r\rFor eg., the walk for the bride during ceremony from the wine room downstairs to the ballroom upstairs was pretty far and with no one from Pinstripes helping us, the groom had to awkwardly stand for 10 mins on stage and wait for bride to show up. The access to the deck was key for their group of friends. It was beautiful weather also. We ran a little short on time for decorating, but the staff was super helpful . Jana was great. Jessica Jansen(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 03-08-2013 My husband and I got married in Mexico and decided Pinstripes would be a great venue to have our at-home reception at. We sat down with Janna, who was our Event Manager, and she reviewed all the details to assure us our event would turn out as pictured. \r\rWe hosted an amazing brunch, which featured prime rib, waffles, build-your-own omelets, pizza, salad, salmon, and a fondue chocolate fountain with an array of amazing desserts. Everyone was thoroughly impressed with the brunch, and most of our guests have returned because of its popularity. \r\rAfter brunch we had three hours of bowling and bocce. I would highly recommend gaming because it gave everyone something to do while we made our rounds greeting and speaking with our guests. Everyone stayed busy and had a blast at the same time. The bowling lanes were very impressive. There are leather couches, credenzas in the back to accommodate those not playing, and we were able to have our wedding pictures playing on the flat screen TVâs. \r\rMy husband and I canât say enough about the food. Brunch is an amazing layout, and everyone was able to grab a few plates of the food they love. Along with the amazing food was the genuine service we received. Janna greeted my parents, husband, and I and from there we were introduced to the manager and the staff taking care of us. We all felt very special and well taken care of. The staff was polite and patient with all of our guests! The beverage service was spot-on, no long waiting time periods or lack of service. Since we were a large group, we were impressed with the ability to get everyone their drinks in such a short time.\r\rOverall, the event space was clean, with tons of natural light. We felt very comfortable and right at home. Janna was very easy to work with, asked all the right questions (including those we didnât even think of!) and was present at the beginning of our celebration to greet us and say âcongratulationsâ! The sense of urgency and care that was taken by the team, made the entire experience stress-free, simple and complete. We literally showed up, and everything was ready to go and on time! The event was an investment, but a great value!\r\rMy husband and I would highly recommend Pinstripes to anyone who is looking for an upscale, but approachable venue, where their guests would feel at home, while still enjoying a semi-formal reception. We were truly impressed with everything! Thank you Pinstipes for taking such great care of us! \r Reviewed on 15-09-2013

Here is what I say about Pinstripes \"they just get it\". I would highly recommend them for ANY private event. They are efficient, thoughtful, timely and so easy to work with. They know the questions to ask and make you feel very comfortable. I have personally planned a bridal shower there for over 50 people and a groom's dinner for over 100 people. Both went off without a hitch and exactly the way I was promised. Food is plentiful (almost too much), delicious and servers are friendly. Everyone - from top to bottom was great to deal with.\rI wish the hotels in the area were this easy and conscientious. Customer service prevails at Pinstripes!\r Reviewed on 21-08-2013

Amanda Wutschke(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 07-06-2013 We would recommend Pinstripes to anyone! We were looking for something unique and memorable for our guests and we found just the thing at Pinstripes. We did not want to have a dance, so the bowling, bocce, and close proximity to Centennial Lake walking paths was PERFECT! Even a month after the wedding, we are still getting rave reviews from our guests. From the planning process until the end of the reception, we were treated with respect and everyone we came into contact with was very helpful and friendly. The servers for our dinner were very professional and kind. Pinstripes even allowed our guests to get gluten-free meals at no extra charge to us!! A big plus! :) Also, the reception room is simply elegant the way they decorate it, so we did not feel like we had to enhance anything with flowers or other decorations, which helped us keep our cost lower. The food at Pinstripes is absolutely delcious! We could not have asked for a better meal. We loved the fact that we had leftovers at home for the next few days because it was so good. The desserts they have were sufficient for us, so we chose not to have a separate caterer bring in a cake -- and our guests loved that as well. They even were generous enough to substitue one of their menu desserts for a special request we had. \rThe event planners at Pinstripes are phenomenal! We faxed over a seating chart and room layout plan and it was set up for just the way we requested - perfect! The day before our event, we brought over the table numbers and wedding favors, and they got those arranged just the way we wanted, too! \r\rGive Pinstripes a try - you won't be disappointed! She is very nice and knows how provide a very high level of service. We had a few hiccups in the planning (which I think is pretty normal), but she was quick fix any issue or concern.\r\rThere was an event right before mine, and I was concerned about the Pinstripes team being able to turnover the room. I didn't hear any issues from the guests/family about things not being set up and the room was set just as I had instructed.\r\rI heard very good things about the food from the guests (the tasting was DELISH!), but on the big day, I was too preoccupied to really taste anything. I still regret not eating more of the risotto and not making it to the bruschetta or profiteroles... Guess I will have to go back when I am back in town.\r\rWe had 140 guests and brought in a DJ. Plenty of space, food, drink, dancing and games. The bowling lanes were packed all night. It was a wonderful, wonderful day/night. Reviewed on 22-05-2013

Laura Larson(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 10-09-2012 One day I took my fiance to Pinstripes to show him how a \"classy bowling alley\" would look - and while we both loved the atmosphere, the service they gave us - as walk-ins - blew him away. They continued to provide exceptional service and even recognized us when we stopped by with friends to show them the place. We served a Sunday brunch which was very reasonably priced and several guests said it was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding. Every detail I wanted help with was attended to and they even took care of renting a chocolate fountain for me which was one less thing for me to worry about. Michelle Hurley(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 24-09-2011 I thought this worked so well for our rehearsal dinner. Everyone had a great time bowling and playing bocce after dinner. The only complaint is that we were charged extra to have someone attend the bowling and bocce, where if we had reserved the bowling and bocce separately we would not have had to pay the extra fee.
