Maggie LeGendre(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 09-04-2022 We opted to have both our rehearsal dinner and wedding event at and we cannot stress enough that Pinstripes made our wedding absolutely amazing. We may be biased, but it was the best wedding we've ever been to. The service was outstanding- truly above and beyond, for both the rehearsal and the wedding event. They were there for us so much over year leading up to our wedding and we are so appreciative! Our lead server Miguel was absolutely amazing and attentive at both events, servers Sarah and our manager Daniel were both so fabulous at the rehearsal dinner. Having our events here felt like being around friends, which is truly more than we could ask for. Even when we showed up on Sunday to grab the last things, many of the staff that worked at our event were there for their AM shifts and they were so kind and friendly, it just sent us away feeling so happy. Beyond all of that, food and drinks were delicious and plentiful and so reasonably priced. It was just perfect. Throughout the entire planning process we were supported by our wonderful event manager, Meryl, who answered many an email and was willing to chat on the phone any time we had questions. Also, to be able to have a built-in bowling after party that included food!? We could not have had a better time. We cannot recommend it enough! Reviewed on 02-08-2022
Elizabeth Roy(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 13-06-2021 Although Pinstripes is listed as a venue, I had the pleasure of using their offsite catering to cater our small picnic wedding reception. Bobby (offsite catering manager) and Tanner (general manager) were professional, courteous, and honestly bent over backwards to work with us and our (challenging) venue to make sure we got what we needed on a short timeline. The food was incredible and there were plenty of vegetarian options, which I appreciated. All our guests went home full and happy and I was actually thrilled that I ordered a few extra entrees and so got to stick them in the fridge for the next day :) The one minor issue I had was that I occasionally didn't get a response to my emails or messages within 24 or 48 hours, and when I first contacted them I didn't get a response until I called back 3 days later. Each time they had been working on our event needs and were just waiting to respond until they had an answer to a question, however, I would have appreciated a quick response just letting me know that so that I didn't worry about my messages getting lost, since I think they're super busy! I'd probably give them a 4.5 if I could. So if you have a few communication blips like I did, persevere! The food and the genuine dedication the staff has is 100% worth it. Reviewed on 22-06-2021
Julianne Woo(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 06-09-2019 Our wedding at Pinstripes was a huge success!! Mackenzie was absolutely fantastic and easy to work with. She was able to help us with all of our needs including getting specific beers on tap, signature cocktails, and helping us with our set up. The team here is extremely professional, the food is delicious, and all of our guests had an amazing experience. Reviewed on 09-10-2019
Devin Dunn(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 22-09-2018 Pinstripes is amazing! While looking for wedding venues I wanted a space that was bright, fun, and refreshing. Pinstripes checked off all of those boxes and more! My husband and I booked the venue for our wedding before the venue was even open (it was still under construction). I fell in love with the large open ballroom with wood floors, tall ceilings and huge windows. We included the amazing 2nd floor patio for our cocktail hour and our guests loved it.It was also super easy because basically everything is included. The packages include tables, chairs, linens, food and alcohol. So you eliminate a lot of hard work and headache for yourself. Also, I can't forget to mention that you get an on site coordinator that you work with through the whole process. We were lucky enough to work with Liz. She was awesome!!! Liz worked with us through every detail to make sure the event was perfect. There were blankets outside by the fire pit for our guests, servers delivering drinks to guests (one guest commented it was the only wedding he ever went to where there was plenty of alcohol and no line at the bar!) She even had our favorite drinks waiting for us at our sweetheart table. Not only is Liz amazing, but the entire staff were so fun and helpful during our wedding. Pinstripes location is also super convenient. It is right across from a brand new Hilton Canopy which our guests loved. Everyone could just stumble home after the event (a lot of people kept partying at the pinstripes bar and hotel bar). Our guests also had places to go for breakfast or explore before/after the wedding. The food is wonderful! I loved that Pinstripes is also a restaurant, so you get restaurant quality food. You have the option of it being served family style or buffet. We chose family style and guest loved it because they got two salads, two pastas, two proteins & two sides so they didn't have to choose. My husband loved that there was a fully stocked bar with so many selections and even draft beer. I seriously could go on and on about all the wonderful things pinstripes has to offer. It has a super cool vibe that sets the scene for an epic party. We had the time of our lives. Reviewed on 13-01-2019
Julia Nulton(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 30-06-2018 I love this place! My husband and I had our wedding reception here and everybody had a blast! They offer a package at a really great value for a private event! Ours included a five course meal, open bar, cocktail hour, tables, linens, glasses, china and an on-site wedding coordinator. Their ballroom is awesome with hardwood floors and floor to ceiling windows that open to an awesome patio and an upscale bowling alley (a great hidden secret)! Our guests raved about how good the food was and loved our classic wedding reception with a flare of playfulness! Even the staff appeared to be having a good time! Weeks later, our guests are still telling us how much fun they had! Highly recommend for an event, happy hour, brunch or even just a sit down meal! The salty dog is my favorite cocktail and the food is really really good! There honestly isn’t a bad choice on the menu (but I love the short ribs). Reviewed on 14-07-2018
Meghan Foster(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 15-10-2016 They were fantastic caterers and very affordable for the city. The catering coordinator thought of everything and even hauled off all the garbage afterwards because our reception was in a public park. Also the food was fantastic. Reviewed on 16-11-2016
Samantha Greene(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 30-10-2016 Pinstripes was a great location for our wedding! The food was top notch - not like regular, boring wedding food. They also took great care to make sure the food allergies of our guests were taken care of. The experience felt very custom. The space is really pretty upstairs (simple brick and hardwood make it easy to look good). While I would cringe whenever we told people it was a bowling and bocce place, you would never have known during the wedding (we didn't utilize the gaming). Only negative is that it was a little tight/hot for 130 guests (but that may also be because it was 80 degrees in October!). In terms of service, we were incredibly happy. We were a little nervous when the event manager we met with when we signed our contract left to go to another company, but her replacecment - Molly - was simply amazing! She was so great to work with, paid attention to all of the little details I cared about, took the time to make sure things were right, and just generally made the day go great. The other benefit of that location was taking photos along the canal and on the brick patio. Definitely recommended! Reviewed on 07-11-2016
Alicia Wilson(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 29-05-2016 I would highly recommend Pinstripes for a wedding location. We worked with Christina throughout the process who was able to accomplish everything we asked. Guests complimented the food and had fun. We had the ceremony and reception at Pinstripes, along with a cocktail hour. They also let us have our rehearsal here the day before. For the reception, we had a DJ, but also included bocce and bowling as an option for guests. The venue was perfect for us (and our 64 guests) and very reasonably priced for the DC area. Anonymous (bride)2 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 31-08-2016 The venue itself is a fun place & it's in a great location. When you go for a normal meal, the food is great, however, when they have to produce in mass quantities for a reception, the quality is not the same & the service staff gets overwhelmed. As a result, we were underwhelmed by the overall experience. Reviewed on 10-10-2015
Monica Rober(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 06-06-2015 While Pinstripes may be an untraditional wedding venue it is an amazing location and value and I could not recommend it more highly! My wedding was gorgeous - elegant, yet relaxed in this space. \r\rWe went into venue hunting knowing we had an uphill climb - we were looking for a venue that could theoretically fit 180 in DC, near a metro, and something that wasn't outrageously expensive. Impossible right? But then we happened upon Pinstripes before it had even opened in 2014 and we knew that we had to take the risk. Well we were certainly rewarded for our leap of faith. We had the entire second floor for the wedding - and it was great. We ended up with only 165 people - but we could've fit more. Everyone loved the space - we glammed it up a bit with uplighting and chiavari chairs to soften the industrial/rustic look - and it was so much more unique than a regular hotel or event space. \r\rWhat's even more amazing is despite the spectacular location on the canal in the heart of Georgetown is that the pricing is EXTREMELY reasonable - well below anywhere else we looked.\r\rThe food was delicious - seriously so good (try to chicken and avocado club flatbread, you won't regret it!) Our guests commented on how yummy everything was - and we certainly can attest to that after eating there numerous times.\r\rTruly Pinstripes is a gem, and I can't speak highly enough about Charlotte Meadows who stepped in midway to work with us after her predecessor left. She was so great about everything, and left us feeling even better about things than we had previously.\r\rWe love Pinstripes, and we know that others will too - you won't regret it! Anonymous (bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 11-10-2014 Loved this venue! Was skeptical at first thinking of having our wedding at a bowling alley and bocci court. Then we went there and saw it and after working with Charlotte, what an amazing experience! Would recommend this venue to anyone who wants to have a fun wedding with great food and great service from the most professional staff I've worked with. Reviewed on 15-10-2014
Anonymous (groom)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 12-10-2014 With everything on line and our day coming faster and faster everyday the only nerves I had as the day approached was that we wouldn't get everything done in time.\r\rWOW. Charlotte Meadows, who had take over our event with about a one and half month to go after her colleague had moved on, went far above and beyond what we could have asked for. Most of our decorations and favors were do it yourself items. On the day of, her and her crew actually set all of our tables based on the design of our DYI, including but not limited to setting Painted bottles with homemade flowers, finishing and placing our guest favors (which required a tedious amount of attention) \r\rAlso, being that the main women planning the wedding was in the wedding, we had an additional person working with us. Pinstripes was able to coordinate with all of our Chiefs and proceed with virtually flawless execution.\r\rIn addition to being a large event, with a very high demand clientele, the women were nearly and hour late!!! Pinstripes was able to adjust and get our timing back on track.\r\rBack to the demanding Guests. With out a doubt our wedding was populated by a lot of heavy partying Service Industry Guests. The staff at Pinstripes was able not only able to keep up with us, they were able to do so in a safe manner. Rob behind the bar I believe made a few friends with my guests. Actually Rob had been at Pinstripes many times while we were planning.\r\rI do not specifically remember his name but we received exceptional table service from all of the floor staff. In particular, the head waiter was attentive and understanding of our timeline and worked diligently to keep our guests happy.\r\rLastly, I was surprised to see how much work was added by the Pinstripes management.\r\rI first met with Ben several months ago when it became apparent the Georgetown Neighborhood Association was going to have objections to the size of our event and that it was happening in the outdoor space we had desired. He went to bat for us and we were able to have the ceremony outside where we wanted. That is not where the Management stopped. Ben took on a lead role towards ensuring my guests were taken care of, and that some of my special requests were accommodated. We were also assisted by another manager, Jackie, who was attentive and helpful when I was trying to set up a slideshow in the bowling alley. \rThat brings us to the next point. Pinstripes itself, is a eloquent yet inviting venue with bowling and a bocce court along with a massive and amazing Ballroom space.\rFor our money we got hours reserving the entire bowling alley and the entire and massive upstairs where there were 3 connected ballrooms and a separate room with a beautiful view of the Georgetown canals that we used to store the wedding party's things, and have a separate space for our friends to relax outside of the general party.\r \rThe food was fantastic and the service was perfect. The Venue went above and beyond for us, and everyone of my 100+ guests will agree that this may have been the very best Wedding that many of them will ever attend! Reviewed on 15-10-2014
