The Pittsburgh Airport Marriott was the perfect place to have our wedding reception! From the start, they were so easy to work with and made sure to meet all our expectations and then some. Catering staff, front desk staff, and everyone else we interacted with were so kind and did everything to make sure we got what we needed. We would definitely host another event here.

The Pittsburgh Airport Marriott was the perfect place to have our wedding reception! From the start, they were so easy to work with and made sure to meet all our expectations and then some. Catering staff, front desk staff, and everyone else we interacted with were so kind and did everything to make sure we got what we needed. We would definitely host another event here.

The wedding coordinator is extremely disagreeable, combative, and very hard to work with. I went into the wedding planning process with the understanding that it would be challenging and stressful, but this was next level stress/frustration. The pricing and options change based on the time of day, and what she feels like offering you in the moment, and that is all subject to change, at any time, based on what she feels like. Until its in a contract a few days before your event, it is nebulous. In fact, I was so desperate for answers and assistance in planning, we almost backed out of our contract a month before the wedding to go with an alternative venue. I was planning my wedding from another state so we were somewhat \"stuck\" with this. Just as an aside, the coordinator was not just difficult with us, she was rude to our musicians, and to the photographers. The quality of food is NOT what they tout, and they were so ill prepared for our event that they ran out of appetizers? For a 60 person wedding? No one in the bridal party including the bride and groom, who hadn't eaten all day, were offered any of the hot appetizers. Be prepared for extreme disappointment with the quality and preparation and presentation of the food, the steaks were low-quality, and completely over cooked, and the salads were wilted, and somehow over-dressed, but at the same time, bland? Pasta option was also tasteless, and the gnocchi was overcooked and mushy. Altogether just awful, tasteless, and poor quality. If you are looking for a pleasant vendor, with great food and easy experience, look elsewhere.

The food was out of this world, and we heard compliments about it all night. The staff were so welcoming and kind. They went above and beyond for me and my guests. The Pittsburgh Airport Marriott was the perfect venue for us. Jeannie and her team made our reception absolutely magical! The Marriott made sure that we got the celebration of our dreams. They made the planning process so smooth and easy, and every last detail was taken care of. Our reception went flawlessly and our maitre d Amy was so helpful and kind and made sure that everything was taken care of for us. It is clear that Jeannie truly cares about every single one of her brides and wants their day to be special. I would 100% recommend this venue to other couples.

Jeannie and her staff take complete and total care of you from day one, and you'll know that your reception is in good hands with her on your team. My husband and I got married in May 2021 at the Pgh Airport Marriott with the help of Jeannie and her amazing team. Jeannie is extremely attentive during the planning process and makes sure every box is checked. You can definitely tell she has 20+ years experience in the wedding planning field and we were so thankful to have her running the show on our day. We had an unforgettable wedding day and our vision was displayed perfectly in the courtyard for cocktail hour, grand ballroom for our reception and the cookie room. In addition to Jeannie, she is surrounded by an extremely talented team. Our day could not have been completed without Rich, the maitre'd. He was constantly checking in on us, and our parents, to ensure everything was going smoothly. Georgia was the waitress for the head table and was beyond great. She made sure we had everything we needed at all times throughout the night. Jean constructed our \"cookie room\" and it was so beautifully put together, complete with decorations and 88 trays of cookies. The chef was great to work with for the tasting and the food was delicious! We continue to get compliments to this day on the food. We also chose to have the \"bon voyage\" breakfast the morning after our wedding and it was beyond our expectations. Not only did they move all of our cookies into the room to make a new cookie table but they also had the space decorated with our flowers, candles and other decor. It was like a second mini wedding!In addition to the above, we also worked closely with the housekeeping staff, front desk staff, and hotel room coordinator and have no complaints. We would absolutely recommend having your wedding day at the Airport Marriott!

From the initial planning meetings, to the countless phone calls, to the rehearsal, to the actual wedding day - every single aspect of our wedding was handled with so much love and care. Jeannie and the Airport Marriott staff went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make our day absolutely perfect. Like many couples, we had a few COVID complications, ours being with our church where the ceremony was to be held. We had to move our entire ceremony over to the Marriott about 3 months before our day. However, with a stressful situation like that, we could not have felt more supported by Jeannie and the Marriott team. They were patient, diligent, and so creative with making our ceremony (& reception) come to life. I cannot stress enough how wonderful every staff member was throughout our entire wedding process. If you are considering a wedding at the Pittsburgh Airport Marriot - we HIGHLY recommend! You will NOT be disappointed!! P.S. Jeannie really is a fairy god mother who is there to make all of your bridal dreams come true!

I truly don't even know where to start. To get married at the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott is to become a part of their family. Jeannie and her incredible team guided us throughout our planning process, including becoming our personal advisors in all things COVID. Our wedding reception went from the Grand Ballroom to the parking lot, but our guests didn't know the difference because Jeannie, Rich, Amy, and all the amazing staff members made sure our wedding was exactly what we had envisioned. Their care and attention to detail cannot go unnoticed! Not to mention, the food was absolutely to die for. Our families had an amazing time and the general consensus is that our wedding was unforgettable! Thank you Pittsburgh Airport Marriott!

Absolutely phenomenal! You are truly in the best hands at the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott with Jeannie Dankowski and staff. We started planning our wedding pre-COVID, and Jeannie was wonderful. She provided us with recommendations for vendors, of which we had absolutely terrific experiences with. Her guidance and knowledge of the wedding industry is absolutely amazing. Jeannie thinks of EVERYTHING and every detail is covered to make sure you have the smoothest and most beautiful wedding day. When COVID-19 hit, Jeannie was with us literally for every step, every restriction change and provided countless creative options for us to still have the wedding of our dreams while being in compliance with the restrictions. Jeannie never gave up on us and we do not know what we would have done without her. She answered every call, every question, every panic text and is one of the biggest blessings we could have asked for in 2020. Our wedding day was truly a dream come true and I would recommend anyone to have their wedding at the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott!

Epic wedding of 2020, Jeannie, Rich, Cheryl from Parkway Florist and all Marriott staff are phenomenal. Words canât describe how amazing they work together and make a beautiful memorable wedding ever during COVID-19. First, we was impacted by Noahs Event Venue bankruptcy. Pittsburgh Airport Marriott did their best to accommodate our original date, wishes, vision that was already placed before the bankruptcy. Then, coronavirus definitely put a hinder on our dream wedding. Two days before our wedding the governorâs orders put all of us in a panic and a rush on what to do we do now. With our guest list being around 130 dropping it to 50 in one day was shocking. We planned to continue with our ceremony outside rain or shine. With the high chance of rain, found out that we was the first couple to have a wedding/event in the front entrance of the hotel (Porte-cochere). Marriott arranged a Zoom company to video live for all guest that could not be there. Was able to rent a small ballroom for guest to visit, sign our signature item, get a piece a cake, some cookies, a picture with us under governorâs restrictions. The ballroom was more beautiful than my husband and I could imagine. The detail planning that they do is so amazing. Not able to have our reception like we wanted but the day of our food tasting was delicious. We will have One of a Kind wedding story to tell with the help from Pittsburgh Airport Marriott. Above and Beyond for Jeannie, Rich, and Cheryl. Thank you for your support, professionalism, and wonderful personalities. Highly recommended.

When restrictions switched to outdoor dining only and there was a chance of rain, they roped off their front portico, added a little stage and social distanced our tables. With linens and table decor it was beautiful and innovative. The brunch and mimosas were so good and many of my guests said it was the best shower they ever went to. Jeannie and Rich are amazing and helped turn this day into a ray of sunshine after all of the cancellations and postponements we have had to face. I highly recommend the Marriott- I couldnât have asked for a better wedding shower during Coronavirus! Thank you! It was perfect and safe!

We also want to thank Rich who was so helpful and attentive on our wedding day. Everything was beautiful! The entire staff was very professional and we couldnât have asked for more! Jeannie was awesome during the whole process. From the initial meeting to the end of our big day, she was so calm and helpful. She told us right away that she would be honest (even if it was contrary to what we were thinking) about what works and what doesn't work in her opinion, and where we should spend our money versus where we could cut back and save a few bucks. She gave us deadlines on when we should have things done, and made sure we were always on track. She even came up with our signature drinks for us, and made the signs which was totally above and beyond. Even though she has her plate full with events all day every day, and sometimes took a day or two to address our requests, she always delivered on what we needed. Even the day of, she was running and getting the bridal party drinks. And when the power went out during our cocktail hour due to a storm, she was so incredibly calm, which is contagious. Overall, very happy with choosing Jeannie and the Marriott to host our reception, and would recommend it to anyone.

Where do I begin! The Pittsburgh Airport Marriott is the perfect location to hold a wedding. Our daughterâs wedding was January 19, 2019. Jeannie Dankowski and her team are absolutely amazing. We had planned this in under a year and there was no detail left undone. The ball room was stunning; it literally took my breath away when I saw it for the first time. The food was outstanding, the bar service was on point! I heard nothing but praise the whole evening. The servers in the ballroom were just fantastic. Food came out hot and there was never a dirty dish.There was a little emergency that came up prior to our arrival to the hotel. When I made my way to the ballroom Rich Price was finishing the set up and as I explained my situation he enlisted the help of Rich Evans. The two of them âmade it happenâ. I then encountered Jeannie on my way to my room and as I was telling her of the situation she assured me that thereâd be no interruptions to our plans and we could âgo with the flowâ and she would make sure that the bar staff and the chef were aware of the changes. Once cocktail hour began she was always present making sure we were all ok and was ready to go when my daughter and son in law were. And once we were ready to goâit was perfect.We also had the âBon Voyage Breakfastâ Sunday morning. It was a fantastic way to end the weekend. It gave everyone the opportunity to talk about the events of the evening and to have the proper goodbyes. And the food and serviceâagain..perfection.My adviceâsee Jeannieâbook the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott. You will not be disappointed.

When you choose a venue for your wedding, your buying into the people who work there as much as anything else that the physical location has to offer. Led by Jeannie, Rich and their support staff, I can say with absolute certainty, they will not disappoint. I can think of hundreds of things that could have gone wrong with the coordination, planning and execution of the wedding day. I really can't think of any and all of our guests had a phenomenal time. We visited several hotels for the possibility of hosting our reception and Jeannie sold us on why Airport Marriott was best. Once they had our deposit, it could be easy to let the customer service level, attention to detail and care for our specific event decline. It just kept getting better! Every single step of the process Jeannie put us at ease, she had great advice, and she made it enjoyable for us. Industry veteran. Customer service champ. Not afraid to give opinion and valuable advice.The day of, Rich was running point and he paid attention to our every need. He thought ahead, he was attentive. He rolled up his sleeves and he delivered. After the wedding, being able to utilize the lobby bar to host and entertain was great and the party kept going. Many of the guests also stayed overnight so we knew they would get home safe. The next morning, we saw half our guests again as they were heading out of town and eating breakfast. It made it feel more like a weekend with friends and family, not just one day. We also had our shower and rehearsal dinner there. All of them were excellent and gave us a go-to location we could trust and take pride in. I could go on about reasons to 1) go with a hotel for your reception and 2) choose Airport Marriott. Hopefully you get the gist and understand why we would recommend to anyone.If you're unsure about this venue or going with a hotel versus a different type of location for your reception, give Jeannie a chance. You'll get it.

Our daughter's wedding reception for 200 was at the Airport Marriott this spring. We are still hearing compliments from family and friends about how wonderful everything was...the cocktail hour, the meal, the beauty of the tables and ballroom, the cookie table display, bon-voyage breakfast, etc. Jeannie and her team are top-notch and guided us well. Every detail was handled with utmost professionalism and kindness. They made the planning of the reception fun, and turned our dreams and visions into reality. I highly recommend this venue!

We held our daughters wedding here June 23, 2018. I honestly cannot say the Marriott could not have been more wonderful to work with! The ballroom was absolutely elegant, time line ran perfectly and the food was delicious! We had a sit down dinner for 200 and from the tortellini salad to the dual plate beef tenderloin and chicken toscana, or beurre blanc Mahi mahi...all of our guests complimented on how well the food was executed, temperature and taste. Jeanne is a pleasure to work with and if anyone knows weddings..its her!! We had approximately 40 guest rooms stay the night of the wedding and the post wedding breakfast was a wonderful experience as well! Kristen the Executive Room Director was on top of all our room reservations and requests as well. I would highly reccomend this Marriott and their highly professional staff! Thank you all!!

We recently had our wedding here on May 6, 2017. We planned our wedding for about 2 years, we had decided a hotel as our venue since it would be easier then trying to find separate vendors for each detail. When we met Jeanie at the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott, she was nothing short of amazing. At our very first meeting, she introduced us to the Marriott owner and actually took time to get to know us personally over lunch. She and her team are very professional and helped make our wedding dreams come true. She would respond to every text I sent her, no matter what time of day. She offered great opinions on linen, which made that process a lot easier. We decided on a buffet instead of a sit down dinner, and all the food was absolutely delicious. We have had multiple people from the wedding praise the food and the service. The ballroom looked beautiful and was everything we could have imagined. I would definitely recommend this venue for a wedding.

I had my rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception all at the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott. I mainly worked with Jeannie Dankowski. Jeannie is very knowledgeable and really helped us pick a custom wedding. I got so many compliments on all of the little details from the uplighting to the signature drinks to the decor. So many guests raved that even though it was at a hotel it did not feel like the standard hotel wedding. I was very happy with Jeannie and her team dedicating their time to make my special day so perfect.

We are SO happy with chose the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott for our wedding reception!!!!! Everything the Marriott did was absolutely perfect and I am not exaggerating! The lighting, the food (their beef tenderloin is AMAZING!), the colors, service, linens, etc. Not one detail was missed. We had our cocktail hour outside which was a large beautiful space and the grand ballroom which was absolutely stunning. 2 months later and we are still getting comments on how beautiful everything was and that our wedding was the best wedding they have ever been to! We had a late night snack and signature cocktail which our guests loved! My parents have trouble giving up control of things and the wedding planner Jeannie dealt with everything with ease and got our input about every detail about the entire day and was VERY helpful and understanding throughout the entire process-even talking late at night sometimes! She is an amazing planner and an expert at what she does!! She even helped me choose what shoes to wear at the reception and snuck them over to the head table for me. I was so impressed that everything the night of the wedding was so well organized and the service staff was so helpful and accommodating to everyone! They are a great team and exceeded all of our expectations. We had a breakfast the next morning which was also amazing-not only the food, but our flowers were moved to the breakfast area as well as our leftover cake and cookies from the night before! We would really not change one thing about our experience at the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott and would recommend them to anyone wanting an absolutely beautiful, perfect, and amazing wedding day!\r

Working with Jeannie at the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott to plan our wedding reception put me at ease. I knew from the first time we met that the Marriott would make sure every part of our wedding day would be spectacular, and it was! Their cooking staff is very talented as well, and the tasting may have been my favorite part of planning the reception! Our wedding guests had nothing but great things to say about the food at our wedding, and the chef went the extra mile to make sure my husband and I had a meal to remember. The day of the wedding, our Maitre d' Lauren was nothing short of fantastic. She was so accommodating, attentive to all of our needs (even the ones we didn't know we had), and gave my husband and I a sneak peek of the reception ballroom all setup before they let guests in. Jeannie and her team made sure every detail was accounted for, and Jeannie even wore my wedding colors that day! There's no sugar coating the fact that weddings cost a lot of money, but there's something to be said about knowing that your money is well spent and the Marriott made sure of that.

y husband and I got married on 9/6/2015 and what can I say our wedding was beautiful. Our wedding was outside in the courtyard with the cocktail hour and reception inside. Everything this was beautifully done and very organized. The planner Jeannie and I got very close throughout the planning process and she delivered exactly what I wanted and more. Jeannie's staff was also very organized and helpful as well! I would recommend this hotel to anyone that wants to have an amazing wedding. My guests have told me that it is the most beautiful wedding they've even been too! Im so sad its over, it was an amazing time!

We chose the Marriott because we heard great things about it and because of it's location being convenient. To our guests everything turned out awesome and we've had so many compliments on how good the food was and how nice everything was at the Marriott. My experience as the bride was very different. We worked with the Marriott for about a year planning every detail (they do make sure that every detail is planned out); however, the Director of Sales was late to every meetings (we had around 5 meetings over the course of the year) and not just 10 minutes late, sometimes 20 minutes, for various reasons each time. The meetings lasted about 2 or 3 hours each time, which meant she was thorough (which was awesome), but not efficient. They were always gracious to offer us food at each meeting which was nice. I wasn't treated like a priority until a month or two before the wedding. When I asked questions 10 months before the wedding and didn't receive a response within a week or two I was told that they had to take care of their \"brides\" first... hello, I was a bride of yours too... and that's why I wasn't a priority to get back to... I was NOT happy. Overall we had a good experience a month up until the wedding and on our wedding day, but I was caused some stress and anxiety while planning just because I wasn't treated how I would expect to be treated for spending $20,000 at their hotel. Wedding planning can be stressful at times and several vendors we used offered all the help they could to make the process easier, but sometimes the Marriott made things more difficult for me and I was disappointed.\r\rI don't know if I would suggest someone to use the Marriott for their wedding and I would be honest with them to explain our experience as I wish it would have been better.

We worked with the Marriott for about a year planning every detail (they do make sure that every detail is planned out); however, the Director of Sales was late to every meetings (we had around 5 meetings over the course of the year) and not just 10 minutes late, sometimes 20 minutes, for various reasons each time. The meetings lasted about 2 or 3 hours each time, which meant she was thorough (which was awesome), but not efficient. They were always gracious to offer us food at each meeting which was nice. I wasn't treated like a priority until a month or two before the wedding. When I asked questions 10 months before the wedding and didn't receive a response within a week or two I was told that they had to take care of their \"brides\" first... hello, I was a bride of yours too... and that's why I wasn't a priority to get back to... I was NOT happy. Overall we had a good experience a month up until the wedding and on our wedding day, but I was caused some stress and anxiety while planning just because I wasn't treated how I would expect to be treated for spending $20,000 at their hotel. Wedding planning can be stressful at times and several vendors we used offered all the help they could to make the process easier, but sometimes the Marriott made things more difficult for me and I was disappointed.\r\rI don't know if I would suggest someone to use the Marriott for their wedding and I would be honest with them to explain our experience as I wish it would have been better.

My husband and I got married on April 6, 2013 at the Airport Marriott. We had a blast! We dealt mainly with Maria and she was amazing. She always got back to us quickly and was funny and sweet and a pleasure to deal with. We would definitely recommend working with her! Overall, the Marriott did everything that we wanted. Nothing went wrong on our big day. The ballroom was set up perfectly and looked gorgeous. We received so many compliments on the food. I thought that the entire staff did a great job taking care of us and our guests.

We had a wedding for my daughter on 5/26/12, Memorial Day weekend. It was our first wedding and we were concerned about selecting a great venue with great food ambience and service. We had 230 guests and the ballroom was large enough to have a nice dance floor, bars, cookie tables and several other serving stations. We worked with Jeannie Dankowski she was the Marriottâs wedding planning guru. Jeannie took us through a planning process that covered all of the large details down to the napkin fold. While the process seemed tedious to a guy, it paid off in the end. We used the courtyard for our cocktail and hors d'oeuvres reception; we had music plenty of food and a lot of space for guests. \rJeannie had a lot of great suggestions which all added to great worry-free wedding experience for the wedding party, family and guests. The food was wonderful, we did the buffet and the presentation and quality of the food was a 10 on a scale of 1-10. From the view of the guests, our wedding was a complete success, and, in some ways, that's all that matters. However, I had several issues working with the staff prior to the big day. \r\rWhen you work with this venue, you are assigned to either Jeannie or Maria. Both talk a wonderful game. However, Maria, my planner, was late to every appointment we ever had. Excuses ranged from conference calls to meetings and beyond. By late, I mean no less than 10 minutes late. \r\rTwo nights before the wedding (at approximately 5:30pm), we received a phone call from our baker telling us the following, \"Maria called and said that you are not allowed to have the pies you chose in your cake package, but she said that it would be better if I called you.\" Not only was Maria aware of the cake package, but we had planned where and how the cakes/pies/cookies were to be laid out. Because Maria had dodged the issue in favor of the baker calling us (at 5pm), we had no way to get in touch with absolutely anyone at Marriott to discuss how me might change the package. \r\rWe were charged incorrectly. We had booked a room for an out-of-town guest for two nights, then cancelled one night. When the guest went to check in, he was told that there was no record of his reservation whatsoever, THEN we were charged for two nights instead of one. In addition, we had two phantom charges on our credit card that required no fewer than 5 phone calls...on our honeymoon...to correct.\r\rAfter spending what we spent on the wedding, we were going to be charged \"at least $50\" to have our cookies (from our baker) plated. Four dozen cookies...plated for $50...when we spent $6,000. My husband's aunt did it instead. \r\rIt was a wonderful day. As I've said, from the view of the guests it was flawless. However, as much as the organization touts \"taking care of the customer\" and \"taking care of brides\

The Marriott was amazing. The staff were so good to us the night of the wedding. It was so easy to plan a wedding with them. They were with you every step up the way. We were able to incorporate all of our ideas, while still keeping the soty down. The day of the wedding went very smoothly. The wedding coordinators kept the wedding party on the timeline. The food was excellent. The servers were quick and friendly. I received all of my personal items back after the wedding and had no complaints about the venue. This was a great place for a wedding and the atmosphere was beautiful. We used the outside courtyard for the cocktail hour and it was amazing. We had a great and memorable evening.

After we reserved the space (June 2009) until June 16, 2011: C-\rIt was extremely hard to get a hold of our wedding planner while we were planning our wedding. My emails were never returned in a timely manner and if I wanted an answer to anything I had to call, but felt uncomfortable calling because I was afraid of our planner. She sometimes spoke down to us and even at one point made me cry. I felt like when I wanted to do something or have something done with my idea she would suggest something different or try and take us another route.\r\rFrom June 17, 2011 until we left the hotel: A++\rThe Thursday before the wedding I met with our wedding planner and she was amazing! I told her of some of the stress I had with some of the vendors and she called them right away and got it figured out. She helped bring my dream wedding to a reality and the hotel staff is so nice and very accommodating. I felt like I was staying at a four star hotel the weekend of my wedding and I would recommend this reception site to anyone! We did have a few problems after the wedding with missing items that were never packed up and given to us and that are still missing. There were so many people on board with set up for our wedding little things like that were overlooked and DH and I were barely out of the ballroom when everyone started tearing down the tables and packing things away.
