The Pittsburgh Marriott North is a hotel wedding venue located in Cranberry Township, PA. This hotel has 11,997 square feet of event space, with each room adorning a clean-cut, minimalist design. This will allow you to get creative with your venue and design your ideal theme for your ceremony and reception. Pittsburgh Marriott North adorns elegant, contemporary décor, making it an ideal venue for couples wanting a classic atmosphere. The hotel is less than a half-hour drive from Pittsburgh, which is filled with different attractions for you and your guests to partake in. In addition, a selection of full-service spas are a short drive away, for a relaxing day trip for you and your wedding party. You will have 14 event rooms to choose from, ranging from large celebrations to more intimate affairs. The Cranberry Ballroom can host a reception of up to 700 guests, and has partitions throughout the space that can create six separate rooms. Each room can be customized to best suit your needs, from the wedding shower to the day-after brunch. The team’s event planner will be ready to make your wedding dreams come true, and assist you with design, vendor references, and menu options. Your cocktail hour and full-course meals can be left to the onsite caterers, who can create mouth-watering dishes like bacon-wrapped scallops or filet mignon. Special breakfasts and lunches for you and your wedding party can also be provided, along with late-night snacks for your guests after the reception. Skilled bartenders will be ready to provide you with their signature cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages throughout the night. In addition, chairs, tables, linens, and various pieces of décor will be provided to match your vision. You and your entourage will wake up and fall asleep in luxury, with the hotel’s welcoming staff ready to make your special day unforgettable.

We used this Marriott for our hotel room block. All the staff were very personable and gave us a great deal for our block. Their hotel bar was even open afterwards for a little \"after party\" Love how clean the hotel was!

The Marriott in Cranberry is amazing. We used them for a room block and after party. The rooms were recently redesign and are gorgeous! They prices were great for guests, and because of the amount of rooms booked, they gave us a suite (2 bathrooms, 1 living room, 1 bedroom) for a huge discount AND one night free – it was the PERFECT space for all the girls to get ready in and have hair and makeup done. Or original plan was to have our after party at the bar-restaurant in the lobby, but pandemic restrictions kept it from staying open and limited capacity. Things worked out better than expected because they held two private boardrooms with mini kitchens for free and for the entire weekend! We preordered food to be delivered Saturday night, and setup all the supplies we brought so they were ready when we got there after the wedding – we kept the party going until morning. The space and the hotel were absolutely perfect for everything we needed!

We can't recommend Pittsburgh Marriott North enough. Gina and the Marriott staff were so great to work with and were very responsive to every little request we had. Setting up the tasting, holding meetings, and contacting Gina was convenient and stress-free. On the day of our wedding, everything went smoothly. The reception hall looked exactly like we dreamed it would. Also, the food was amazing - from the appetizers at cocktail hour to the reception entrees! We received countless compliments from our guests about the food and the overall reception. We are very grateful we chose Pittsburgh Marriott North for our special day.

I cannot say enough thanks to Gina and the staff here at Pittsburgh Marriott North. I was an out-of-state bride, so planning the wedding reception and logistics around the weekend would have been impossible without such an organized team on-site.From the initial contract signing, the food/cake tasting, countless general questions over email/phone, our Friday evening gathering at the hotel bar, cocktail hour, the reception, and all the way to brunch over at the Courtyard on Sunday, everything went off without a hitch. The set-up was beautiful, the Marriott preferred florist and bakery did a phenomenal job, and the Marriott event staff were extremely attentive.Our guests all said it was one of their favorite weddings. My only wish out of this entire experience is that the weekend would have lasted longer!!!P.S. If you have your ceremony and/or reception here, but sure to have your Marriott Rewards number on file, as you can put the points you earn on your event spending towards your honeymoon.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! We are so happy with the Marriott from start to finish. The planning and communication was excellent and they were very accommodating. It was wonderful to have trusted florists and bakeries provided as part of the package. We rented the entire ball room with about 170 guests and the space was absolutely beautiful. The staff was so attentive to our needs the day of the wedding and I cannot say enough great things about their professionalism and thoughtfulness. The food was absolutely incredible from the appetizers, soup, salad, filet with crab stuffed shrimp, and Prantls wedding cake. They plated our cookies for us and did such a great job. Our guests were raving about the food, service, and staff and couldn’t say enough great things about the reception. We are incredibly thankful to the Marriott and all of their staff that helped make our day beyond perfect!!

My husband and I had our reception at the Pittsburgh Marriott North in April and we cannot say enough wonderful things about Emily, Joe, and the entire staff. From the very beginning, Emily was kind, patient, and quick to answer any questions we had. I had MANY different ideas and she was always welcoming and offered her opinions and solutions on how to make them happen. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, I felt like I was emailing her every day with different questions and even throughout the entire planning process she was always quick to respond and never made it seem like I was burdening her. Her responses were always detailed and she made sure to completely answer each one of my questions. My husband and I drew diagrams and made lists on how things should be setup that day, but with Joe as our day-of coordinator, we had NOTHING to worry about. He was extremely organized and detail-oriented and everything was setup just as we had envisioned. On top of all of that, we had many compliments from our guests on the food (it was delicious!), the service, and the entire evening. We had around 300 guests and needed the entire ballroom. There was plenty of space for people to move around and not feel cramped. We also held a brunch at the Marriott the next morning with around 80 guests. Emily had no problem reserving a smaller section of the ballroom which worked out perfectly. Our day could not have been more perfect and we cannot thank the Marriott staff enough. We HIGHLY recommend this venue to any couple looking for a location for their wedding.

In the beginning and during the planning stages, Emily Brungo (Stas) was polite, helpful, and never made me feel like a nuisance with all of my questions. She was professional and made me feel like my wedding was the only one she was involved with. On Friday and Saturday, Joe helped execute my dream wedding to a T. Everything I asked for and wanted was perfect. The entire staff at the Marriott was accommodating and if I needed something, they jumped to complete the request. The food was absolutely delicious, the lighting beautiful, and the whole experience a once in a lifetime memory. I can't say enough wonderful things about the venue or the staff.

Emily and Brandi were fantastic and always quick to answer my MANY questions. Amanda our bartender was fun and accommodating to all of our guests. The service staff including the front desk management were so attentive to all of our wants and needs, always checking that our timeline was followed and worked with when needed. Seriously a great experience and I would recommend this venue to anyone looking to have an easy, carefree event.Thank you to everyone there!!

The venue was the first decision that my husband and I made as we started to plan our wedding. We decided to get married within the year and luck would have it, the Pittsburgh Marriott North had a Saturday in September available. From the very beginning, Emily Stas was excellent!! She was extremely responsive, provided guidance, and kept us on track through the whole planning process. As we neared the day of, Emily and the entire staff at the Marriott were amazing. Joe kept the whole night flowing perfectly, keeping us informed of the status of the ceremony and reception starting. Melissa was attentive and on her game! We had a number of people tell us afterwards how wonderful the staff was--noticing things that we, as the bride and groom, did not. The room was beautiful and having everything taken care for us so we could just enjoy the night was the best! On top of all of that, the food was delicious--tons of compliments on this as well! This was easily one of the best and easiest decisions we made after looking at a couple different locations within Pittsburgh. I can't speak highly enough for this venue and if you are looking for a location, check them out!!

She answers all questions within a day, never was annoyed by how many questions, helped with all the details I wanted included, and was there every step of the way during the process. The day of, I was allowed in the room to see the set up prior to anyone entering in and I was blown away. It was AMAZING! It was better than I expected and I was so happy. I looked at several venues before choosing to have my wedding reception at the Pittsburgh Marriot North, and I could not be happier with my decision. The hotel and ballroom are stunning. Emily (sales and catering account manager) worked with me and with my family from the very beginning. She is extremely good at her job and very kind and accommodating. Days before the wedding, I met with Emily and Joe (on-site coordinator), and together we went over every detail of the wedding day. They are very good at what they do, and because of them I was relaxed going into the wedding and confident that the staff had everything covered. On the day of the wedding, everything went extremely smoothly. The guests had a great time and loved the food. I would highly recommend others to check this place out.

We had our wedding at the Pittsburgh Marriott North this past April 2017. I couldn't have picked a better venue!! Emily Stas Is who I worked with throughout the entire planning process and she is absolutely amazing, such a sweetheart, truly cares about what she's doing and she's very good at it. When you put all this time and money into your wedding you expect the best and they did not disappoint. I went into my day without any worries and everything went great. Not one issue. The Marriott staff that worked that day was amazing as well!!! They helped make it all come together, made sure it went smoothly, put up my decor and added a few little touches to make it even better!! The FOOD!!! I wish I personally got to eat more , if only we had more time :) ...but the guests raved about it !! Some even said it was the best wedding food they have ever had. Everyone continued to tell me after how good it was and they were still full the next day from eating so much !! I truly can't say enough nice things about the Marriott. I am so happy we had or wedding there and would recommend everyone to go there!!

We had our wedding at the Pittsburgh Marriott North this past April 2017. I couldn't have picked a better venue!! Emily Stas Is who I worked with throughout the entire planning process and she is absolutely amazing, such a sweetheart, truly cares about what she's doing and she's very good at it. When you put all this time and money into your wedding you expect the best and they did not disappoint. I went into my day without any worries and everything went great. Not one issue. The Marriott staff that worked that day was amazing as well!!! They helped make it all come together, made sure it went smoothly, put up my decor and added a few little touches to make it even better!! The FOOD!!! Pittsburgh Marriott North was amazing - Emily Stas did such a wonderful job of listening to what we wanted, providing suggestions, and creating exactly what we wanted for our wedding day. Emily was very timely with emails throughout the whole process and was just wonderful in general. We had our ceremony and reception at the hotel. We also got ready there that day. Everything was wonderful - we had food catered in for breakfast and lunch while getting ready and the Marriott was there if we needed anything else. The uplighting was absolutely gorgeous and the food was amazing. We heard nothing but compliments from our guests!

Absolutely everything went perfectly the day of our wedding! Emily, Brian and the rest of the Marriott staff were timely, patient and responsive to our emailed questions and our visits leading up to the big day. The room was set up exactly as we had envisioned and they even gave the bridal party a sneak peak of the room before all the guests entered for the reception. The drinks were plentiful, the service was friendly and responsive and the food was good. My only complaint, if it was a complaint, was that the cake was cleared too quickly. Everyone is always torn between dancing and eating cake at the reception and your place is typically cleared before you have a chance to polish off your dessert! Regardless, our wedding went off exactly as we had envisioned and the Marriott staff made it seamless and easy on my husband and me.

We cannot begin to explain how wonderful working with the Marriott has been. We had our wedding reception at the Pittsburgh Marriott North on 10/15/2016 and it was absolutely perfect. We first met with Emily, the main coordinator in January 2016 and from that booking date up until the reception, the entire process was easy (I know that describing wedding planning as \"easy\" seems crazy, but that's truly what it was). Emily is extremely well-organized and personable which makes working with her so great. She would check in with us regularly to make sure she was up-to-date on any and all details, she made sure to schedule meetings with us, set up our tasting, make sure our cake and centerpiece vendors were contacting us/doing their jobs, and it was very obvious that she genuinely wanted it to be the best day for us. The rest of the Marriott event staff, led by Joe, was exactly the same: courteous, competent, pleasant, eager to assist, and kind. They set up the hall and our decorations exactly how we asked and made sure that we, our parents, and all of our guests were happy with the experience throughout the night. We will DEFINITELY be recommending this venue to all who are looking. They helped make our wedding day absolutely perfect. Thank you to Emily, Joe, and the rest of the Marriott staff for everything that you did for us. We loved our reception and are truly grateful for the services that you provided! Thank you!!

My wife and I wanted a short engagement (it was three months total to be exact), so we knew finding a nice reception venue would be a challenge. After several calls around town, to find most venues already booked (and being giggled at by some because of the short notice), we finally got a promising lead with Pittsburgh Marriott North. Not only did they have an opening on our day, but the price was also a lot lower than some other places we were considering. We made an appointment to check out the venue and were utterly blown away by the space. Marriott's have always been known for clean, upstanding, quality stay and service, and this location was none less. Not only was everything pristine, but the whole building had a very new and modern feel to it, as if it was build in the last few years. We took the deal, and our experience just went up from there. Our sales account manager was Emily Stas, and she is completely professional and comfortable. We met with her about 3 times before our event to go over details of the night, taste test the food and cake, and provide our party favors and personal touch decorations. In a single word, I would say that the Marriott was \"accommodating\". My wife had many opinions and preferences on how we would like things to be, and Marriott was accommodating to all. Be it the personal decorations we wanted to bring, to different signs to post, we were able to chose the layout of the room and tables, and do what we wanted with the cookies and the night. The Marriott was there to support us. As a bonus, something I liked about the Marriott is that their package provided our wedding cake (12+ to choose from), flowers on the table, venue accessories, and a night in the nicest room I’ve ever stayed at. The night came and went like a dream come true. My wife and I have no regrets with our choice in the Pittsburgh Marriott North.

I could not have chosen a better venue for my wedding! Emily was so easy to work with from day one, and supported every decision we made. My favorite part was the Wed before the wedding, when she and Joseph, our coordinator for the ceremony and the reception met with me to go over every detail of that evening. They made sure that they understood what I wanted, and then sent me on my way. I didn't have to think about a thing on my wedding day! Joseph and the rest of the staff helped my visions came to life and even created a way to make my table names stand up when they didn't work as designed. Emily referred me to a great lighting company, and they made the ceremony perfect for me. The staff at the Marriott was so nice that evening, they made sure that Dan and I always had a smile on our faces, and were so courteous and helpful to our guests. We even had the option of bringing out late night food at the end of the reception, which was a hit with everyone!! I had many people come up to me and tell me how nice the front desk staff was, and everyone really enjoyed their rooms. Emily was very quick in her responses to my many many questions, and was just marvelous. I would most certainly recommend this venue to anyone looking to have a beautiful, well run reception that is sure to please your guests. I am so happy that we were lucky to find them for our wedding day.

Absolutely perfect! There aren't enough words to describe how amazing our wedding was here. Not only was the reception beautiful and perfect, but all of the planning done up until the big day was great. Emily took care of everything for us. She responded quickly to any question we had and accommodated everything we needed. The event was amazing. The food was great, the set up was exactly as we discussed, and every detail was carried out as we requested. It was a completely stress free process for a completely perfect venue. The food was very good and we had many guests comment on how good it was, they are very accommodating to particular food request (i.e. Gluten free, allergies, etc.) The entire staff was very pleasant to work with I still receive compliments from my guests about how much they enjoyed our reception. The Pittsburgh Marriot North was the best decision my family and I could have made as we planned my wedding! The venue is absolutely stunning as there is ample space for seating, dancing, pictures and more! The staff at the Marriott is by far the most professional and passionate group of people my family and I have ever had the pleasure of working with; we had many guests traveling in from out of town, including my parents! During the week leading up to the big day, guests and VIP wedding party members stayed comfortably with every necessary accommodation imaginable! The staff went over every detail of the day and took care of everything from the linens to the last guest leaving the dance floor! There is no set up or tear down required; all that is required for the bride, groom, family, and friends is to have an unforgettable experience! The staff at the Pittsburgh Marriott North see their role as a passion, not an occupation and put tremendous care into making everything run as smoothly as possible. Emily Stas, the sales and catering account manager, is superwoman! Her hard work and dedication was instrumental in making my wedding day absolutely incredible! My husband and I used the Pittsburgh Marriott North for our ceremony and room block. The service we received from Kate and Emily throught planning process was amazing! They were patient with us, quick to respond to emails and phone calls and overall just made us feel completely comfortable with all of the decisions we made. We had a lot of questions throughout the process and they made themselves available for it all! The day of the rehearsal and ceremony we met with Brian, the banquet manager. He made sure everything was smooth and stress free for me. He handled everything professionally and promptly. I cannot say enough amazing things about him! We had a lot of out of town guests come in for the weekend and everyone commented on how well everything ran. I would highly recommend the Pittsburgh Marriott North for your wedding ceremony! I'm sure the reception would be just as wonderful, unfortunately we already booked our reception venue before visiting the Pittsburgh Marriott North.

I cannot say enough good things about our experience at Pittsburgh Marriott North!!. From the beginning, Jonathan and I were always made to feel important. Emily Stas was there for us every step of the way! She would answer any questions I had (some days I feel as though I asked a million), she had countless suggestions when we didn't know which way to go, and was always willing to listen to my crazy ideas. Without Emily, I feel like our wedding would not have turned out as amazing as it did!\r\rOur maitre d', Brian, made the day of wedding easy and carefree. He knew where everyone and everything was supposed to be. He checked in with us multiple times throughout the night. He would ask if everything was okay and if we needed anything. Stress Free Wedding\rThis is my second time at a wedding at the Pittsburgh Marriott North, and both have been great experiences. The first was a wedding that we attended that was great, and the recent wedding reception of my daughter. After visiting various wedding venues in the Pittsburgh area, my daughter felt very comfortable with the staff and what the Marriott had to offer. There are many choices out there but we liked what the Marriott North included in their package such as linens, a reception hour in the beautiful atrium, along with the cake. (2 great choices)\r\rThe two main staff members that we mostly worked with, Emily Stas (wedding event manager) and Joseph Iacovone (assistant catering manager) were outstanding! Emily has guidelines to work with but she was also able to make adjustment and honor request that they bride wanted. We did not feel that she was preying on emotions but that she was there to work with us. Joseph was very detailed oriented and seemed to be everywhere. He made adjustments along the way to keep the wedding running smoothly, along with checking in with the parents to see if they needed anything. Both of these staff members are very professional!\rI did not come across any staff members that had a bad attitude or who did not want to be there. Everyone one was helpful and polite which is a rarity in the service industry.\r\rThe Pittsburgh Marriott North is worth a visit.\rGood Luck!

We were offered the use of their shuttle that night and also the use of a board room, which we took full advantage of. My in-laws stocked the board room with drinks and snacks and it as used multiple nights and after the wedding by our guests to continue visiting. The rooms are lovely and the breakfast included was perfect. We were SHOCKED to learn that the gorgeous hotel was the same price in the block as several other much older, smaller hotels in the same mile radius. You should ABSOLUTELY visit and book with the Marriott in Cranberry.

She was very professional, kind, and well organized during the whole experience! She got back to me very quickly whenever I had a question. They worked seamlessly with all of our other vendors (band, florist, etc) to make the experience easy and excellent - they took care of everything, and we didn't have to worry about anything. The food was delicious, and we had many guests comment on how good it was. They were very accommodating to particular food requests (i.e. gluten-free, allergies, etc), and took them seriously. The entire staff was very pleasant, and the facility is beautiful, clean, and modern. We had a wonderful reception here, and would definitely recommend Pittsburgh Marriott North to any couple looking for a reception venue!

Staying at the Pittsburgh Marriott North we had all of our needs met. Booking the block of rooms was simple and the customer service made the process painless for our guests to book as well. The high quality hotel had a bar so we didn't need to be chauffeured any further and was large enough we would be separate from our guests' rooms. We were given a room on the floor above our guests and greeted with a bucket of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. We were pleased with our stay and would recommend for wedding parties.

We chose Marriott North for hotel accommodations for our out of town wedding guests, and it was a fabulous choice. When I was calling around to do research on possible locations, I head a lot of \"No, we don't do this/that, you have to, you can't, etc\" Each time I spoke with the staff at Marriott, I heard nothing but yeses.\r\rDuring my family and guests' stay, they were treated as if they were the only guests in the hotel. Whatever they asked for, the hotel did their best to accommodate them. They even went so far as to bring up mini fridges at no extra charge so some guests with special diets could keep food in their rooms.\r\rWe had a couple small group events in the business rooms throughout the weekend, and the staff went above and beyond here as well--they checked on us to make sure we were comfortable, rustled up water goblets and pitchers of ice water when we said we were thirsty, etc. No matter what we needed, they took care of it.\r\rI really appreciated the peace of mind knowing that my family and friends were being treated well while I was busy preparing for the wedding and enjoying the weekend. Everyone has commented that they had a great time, and the great service allowed the focus to be on spending time together as a family. Definitely worth the small difference in price when compared to a cheaper hotel which does not do as much to take care of guests!

I would have to say that the staff at the Marriott North did the most amazing job for our wedding! Being in the hospitality industry myself I know what goes into pulling off a wedding from behind the scenes. They went out of their way to make sure everything and everyone was taken care of! We had no worries AT ALL! The food was great and the place is beautiful! It was at the top of our budget, but the service you and your guests will receive makes it worth every penny!

We ended up looking into the Pittsburgh Marriott North just to exhaust our options and I am SO glad we did. Our wedding day was PERFECT thanks to the amazing staff at the Marriott. It was classy, detail oriented, and the food was amazing. Our guests raved about the food!\rAdditionally, Kate Knecht (Sales Manager) and Samantha (Banquet Managet) we're awesome to work with! I wouldn't have changed anything.Thank you for making our wedding day perfect!!

The people did a great job planning and making our event everything we wanted it to be. They were knowledgeable about what could and could not be done, and worked hard to be sure everything was perfect. Jennifer was a great sales person, and very attentive going up to the event, and from there Brian took over and did a great job. \rWe had a slight problem with the guests from the other wedding coming into our bar, which was why I rated it four stars instead of five. I personally had to chase people out of my reception, which wasn't fair. At least the bar was all prepaid so we didn't have to pay for what the other people drank.

We reccommend the Pittsburgh Marriott North to everybody!!!!!! They did an amazing job with our reception. They did all of the work for us. The food was amazing! Samantha (banquet manager) and Jennifer (Catering Manager) were so helpful. Jennifer answered all of my billion emails with questions about everything from decor to food to the seating chart. Samantha made sure we had everything we needed the entire reception. We loved the Marriott and reccommend it to everyone!!

We reccommend the Pittsburgh Marriott North to everybody!!!!!! They did an amazing job with our reception. They did all of the work for us. The food was amazing! Samantha (banquet manager) and Jennifer (Catering Manager) were so helpful. Jennifer answered all of my billion emails with questions about everything from decor to food to the seating chart. They were very easy to work with and gave us exactly what we wanted. The dinner flowed well and everyone loved it. Throughout the event they were constantly making sure everything was to our liking. The chef even came out to check with us. We loved it and had great reviews from our guests.

I have a hard time rating the Marriott. The ratings for their performance in the year leading up to the wedding are much lower than the ratings for the day of the wedding-- which would really be like 4.5/5.0. We dealt with two different wedding coordinators in the time leading up to the wedding, and I liked both of them. We did have a contract issue that was a pain to deal with, and the general manager of the hotel was not very flexible (nor very pleasant). They have a stringent cancellation policy, and I would not recommend this venue to someone who has the possibility of a military deployment that could interfere with the wedding date. I did finally contact someone higher up in the company, and we were able to work out the issue. In addition, in dealing with the bill, there were a few issues that came up; they were dealt with promptly and without issue. I just didn't like that I felt I had to double check on everything that came through instead of it just being done correctly the first time around (again, this is only with regard to things leading up to the wedding).\r\rThe day of the wedding, everything was perfect. They were wonderful, responsive, and happy to help with anything that we needed. The food was delicious, the bartenders were very professional and friendly, and the Banquet Coordinator (Samantha) was amazing. She handled everything that came up before I even thought about it. All in all, I am glad that we had both the ceremony and reception there; everyone had a great time, and the coordinators and other employees of the hotel were fantastic. We had a blast.

The staff the day of the wedding was fantastic! The room looked beautiful with all of the candlelight and the tables set. The cocktail area was nice because it was separate from main reception ballrooms.

;I was not happy with the cake that was created by the company that the reception venue offers. The taste was amazing but the design was very disappointing. It looked almost nothing like the magazine picture that I had given them. If I could do it again I would order a cake from somewhere else.

The ball room was spectacular. They have a wonderful atrium for appetizers near the fountain. The staff was the best they helped with everyting and were very accomodating. Plus the guest could just head upsatirs and not have to drive.
