Wine, dine, and dance to your heart's content at PLACITAS WINERY, a vineyard-style wedding venue nestled deep in Placitas, NM, near NM165 and other major highways. The story of this one-of-a-kind winery begins with owners Barb and Ty Belknap who purchased the property in 2018 with dreams of creating a space where people could relax and unwind over smooth, silky drinks straight from the vine and Placitas fruit orchards. Today, Barb, her husband Ty, and their son, Evan, the winery's vintner, welcome couples from all across the country, hoping to get hitched right in this lush heart of sun-soaked Sandoval County. Resting on a four-acre plot with nothing but lush native plant life, rare fauna, and even a Native Puebloan archeological grounds, PLACITAS WINERY is the very essence of New Mexico. It has plenty of space for king-size celebrations, too, with a 3,000-square-foot adobe open-air pavilion with Southwestern styling and a wood-built roof and walls for shade from the countryside heat for "I dos" along with a 6,800-square-foot outdoor celebration area. After the ceremony, guests can stroll around the property and wander through its two small vineyards and fruit tree orchards, relishing in its wild, fragrant fruit. For dry handmade fruit wines crafted on-site in their spacious wine-manufacturing cellar from local fruit harvests, as well as crisp beers and spirit cocktails native to New Mexico, look no further than the Winery's stylish tasting room with granite bar adjacent to the pavilion. From event rentals (chair covers, table cloths) to decorations and more, PLACITAS WINERY has everything you need for a truly unforgettable event. Slide open 10'x20' of barn doors for a beautiful starlit evening. There's also plenty of on-site parking, ensuring guests have unlimited access to the estate.
