Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort Reviews
Heather McCorkel(other)3 out of 5 Rating
We originally were looking to book our ceremony and reception here, but then the coordinator completely ghosted us after our tour and we weren’t comfortable booking somewhere like that where the communication was so poor. We ended up getting a hotel block here due to its proximity to our venue (Wrigley Mansion). We also planned a morning after brunch on site at Tapatio. Despite voicing our frustrations over trying to book the wedding there months prior and then assuring us the communication would be better with the room block and brunch planning process, it was still somewhat difficult to get in contact with them. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed their stay. The grounds and amenities were great. The brunch was well done. The communication is severely lacking though. I would recommend a hotel block there for friends planning a wedding, but I would definitely give them a warning about the communication. Reviewed on 16-11-2023
Miranda Pugsley(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 01-10-2022 1. Traci is my hero, so responsive, accommodating, and knowledgeable. I cannot say enough about her. She made everything so easy. 2. The view, the venue, the food, will blow your guests away. Everything was amazing3. The staff. Omg. As the bride, the asked what my drink of choice was at the beginning of our reception, and would have a new drink brought to me as soon as they noticed my glass was getting low, brought water periodically through the night. Just amazing wait staff. Even brought drinks to my guests. The staff is just 10/10. Reviewed on 03-04-2023
Morgan Howell(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 25-05-2022 Our wedding was beautiful. Traci is amazing and so easy to work with. We got married at DPOV and received so many compliments on the food. However, my (the bride) plate was wrong and that was upsetting. Reviewed on 10-06-2022

Megan Flesner(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 20-02-2022 We got married in Different Pointe of View, and it was spectacular. The serving staff were absolutely fantastic and immediately took care of everybody’s needs. They were so sweet and knowledgeable about everything. The pastry chef is on another level. She worked with us to get exactly what we wanted for a cake and other desserts and they were all TO DIE FOR! All of the food here is absolutely incredible! On top of that, the view is hard to beat, especially at sunset. The pictures were captured looking over the city I will treasure forever. Reviewed on 13-04-2022
Sophia Zeitler(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 12-01-2019 Lauren did a great job making my day absolutely beautiful. She was able to set up a last minute ceremony site due to rain. It did kind of suck that they would not touch anything that wasnt their own so we had to hire a day of planner. The banquet staff served stunning food totally worth the price. Our guests have been raving about the quality and taste of everything. The banquet captain was very attentive to me and my husband during dinner and made sure we had everything we needed. The bellman were absolutely amazing with helping with transportation. Highly recommend if you have a wedding planner! Reviewed on 04-02-2019

Sarah Howe(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 15-03-2014 My husband and I booked our wedding at the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort in Phoenix, AZ. We elected to hold our ceremony on the patio of the Different Pointe of View Restaurant and our ceremony in the Terrace room. Traci is the event coordinator for the Different Pointe of View and she was an absolute dream come true to work with. She listened to what my husband and I envisioned for our wedding day and answered all of our questions promptly, often giving us options or suggestions we hadn’t even thought of. Traci oversaw everything from creating and finalizing the menu to coordinating with the rest of our vendors when they had questions or concerns. \rAdditionally, Traci was there on the big day to make sure that everything went smoothly- which it absolutely did- and if it didn’t, even more thanks to her, because I was completely unaware of any last minute issues that popped up! It’s obvious that Traci has a ton of experience with event planning and she and her team pulled off an amazing event. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. If you’re considering the Pointe for your upcoming wedding, I highly suggest it. The venue is gorgeous, the food 4 star and the staff, more than attentive. Reviewed on 11-04-2014
