Krista Hubbard(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 17-08-2019 We had an absolute perfect wedding and everything was so incredible! We can’t thank The Portland Spirit enough for all they did to help put this together for us! We just got married this Saturday August 17th and we already love reliving our memories and can’t wait to go on a cruise again one of these days! Our ceremony was on the top deck and dinner and dancing on the middle deck and everything was gorgeous!!! Beautiful clean boat and great view of the Waterfront!Far and above our expectations to use the Portland Spirit. The whole staff was so nice, efficient and helpful to all of our guests. The food was delicious and all of the coordination was amazing. You will be so thankful if you use the Portland Spirit because the staff on the boat made this event seamless! And the captain was our officiant and he is amazing!! What a wonderful memory with him and he even let us drive the boat when we went up to sign our license! All of our guest kept telling us this was the most fun wedding they have been to and how cool it was to be on a cruise! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND using The Portland Spirit!! They are so inclusive so the money goes to so many things and you will get an amazing staff to help you. Reviewed on 19-08-2019
Allison Bodt(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 09-07-2016 Awesome! The main reason we decided to go with Portland Spirit was because of the package- everything that is included is outlined for you. The people were great at keeping in contact, which was great for planning out of state. I highly recommend! The cruise is beautiful and service great. Couldn't have asked for a better wedding. Stephanie Scott(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 08-08-2015 My husband and I really enjoyed our wedding and reception on the Sternwheeler. We decided to go with the intimate wedding package and it was perfect for us. Initially we thought it might be odd with our 40 guests on the boat in addition to the public but with our laid back style it didn't really matter. Everyone on the sternwheeler was great before and after the wedding. We had email contact to set everything up prior to the wedding and they were quick to answer all of our questions. We were married on the top deck dockside before the public boarded and things went without a hitch. The dinner was surprisingly decent and we brought our own doughnuts on for dessert. A a bar package was purchased so our guests could get drinks and it was worth the money. If you expecting a traditional wedding reception with dancing, a reception line etc, the intimate package probably isn't for you. However, if you want a laid back wedding with great views and an interesting locale this could be the place for you. Reviewed on 28-08-2015
Heather (bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 17-10-2014 My girls and I did the 80's dance cruise on the Portland spirit for my bachlorette party. I really liked that we found a place to party that was different and not your typical bar. Everyone including us were so dressed up. I had a neon tutu, flashing ring, glow stick bracelet, pink leg warmers, fishnet tights, bright pink veil, and bride shirt. The theme was tutus because I use to be a dancer. The dancing was a lot of fun and I the deck on the top level is really nice. The drinks were decently strong if you know what to order and we had a lot of fun!!\r Reviewed on 31-10-2014
Michelle Lease(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 25-01-2014 I had such an easy time with the ladies at the Portland Spirit. Ashley was great, every change that I made she was right there with me. She would send me updated schedules if I/we changed something. She would get back to me super fast, I never had to wait or felt like I was ever forgotten about. \r The food was amazing, and staff was very professional, I hardly even knew that they were there.\r Overall I had a great experience! Tiffany Loper(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 02-09-2012 We wanted a unique wedding no guest could forget, and we defiantly got it. We had our reception on the Columbia Gorge Sternwheeler, and everyone had a blast. They were great to work with and had a lot of extra options to add, which took out lots of leg work for us planning wise. They were able to accommodate some of our extra requests, like having a gelato bar on board, and flying a pirate flag from the boat. They crew/staff on the boat couldn't have been nicer and more capable. My only complaint would be that you don't get enough time or options for set up. They do much of it for you, but you are really crunched for time if you're trying to do a lot of decorating or other set up. Reviewed on 14-10-2012
