Powderhorn Mountain Resort Reviews
Besides having the most beautiful 360° views, the Powderhorn Mountain Resort on the Grand Mesa was a dream come true for my daughter's wedding. Her wedding coordinator, Summer Scotland, was awesome. From my daughter's initial contact; and through subsequent visits, emails, and phone calls; Summer was always responsive, caring, and accommodating. She explained the process thoroughly, and helped us with seating, table arranging, timeline and provided suggestions for nearby photographers, florists, DJ's, bakeries, etc. No matter our questions or requests, Summer took care of everything. The onsite chef, the food, and service were outstanding - providing the rehearsal dinner and reception choices, wedding party brunch, appetizers, and late night snacks. Bar service was also outstanding, all Powderhorn staff were welcoming and helpful. The whole experience was positive, and as stress-free as any wedding day could be.

Wow! Worth every penny. Summer and her team took care of us from the very beginning. We very much appreciated the professionalism, communication (always a quick turn around), attention to detail, and personal touch. Summer accommodated our requests and helped us have a low-stress and beautiful wedding! You won't be disappointed.

Summer is an amazing Wedding Coordinator! She was there for us all the way through and was extremely helpful. We had so many questions and she easily answered all of our needs.I highly recommend her as she is extremely knowledgeable and has a very pleasant demeanor. Also, she was there day and night but did not hover. She was there during setup, ceremony and take down. What an amazing dedicated professional! We were so lucky to have her expertise and guidance!

This was the best place to get married! The price is very reasonable considering you get food and booze through them as well as Summer Scotland, the venue coordinator. She is a built in planner and astounding at organizing it all. She can make what you want happen at this venue. It was the best day of Ben and I's lives! Bonus, if you are a skier, you get ski passes for the year when you get married here!!!

Every staff member at Powderhorn from the wedding coordinator to the chef made the planning process absolutely wonderful. If you're a couple who loves the mountains and dreams of having your wedding in the outdoors, I would highly recommend Powderhorn! The wedding coordinator listens to every request, dreams about your wedding day with you, and helps bring your perfect day to light! Powderhorn is an excellent way to have your dream mountain wedding while providing a much more affordable option (and it's absolutely beautiful).
