Erika Mrzlak(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 29-10-2022 Prairie street brewery was absolute perfection. There really aren’t any words to describe how perfect of a venue they are. Not only is the venue stunning but each person we worked with there was amazing. Our guests were blown away and we still are. We loved the many spaces we were able utilize - the dock, cocktail hour space, and reception space. We can’t wait to go back already even for a beer in the restaurant! Reviewed on 16-11-2022
Blair Carlisle(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 24-04-2021 Excellent rehearsal dinner location, the staff was super accommodating and space was exactly what we needed. Our private bartender was great and able to make everyone's request with ease. We had total control of the music in our space and they were able to bring in an extra table when we needed it. 10 out of 10 would recommend! Reviewed on 08-06-2021
Lindsay S(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 09-11-2019 We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding and that was in large part to the Prairie Street Brewery. We had the pleasure of working with Nitsy who was absolutely fantastic!! She helped us through every step of the way and made things so much easier for a first time bride and groom. The venue is absolutely stunning and the food was a hit ( as was the beer!). We couldn’t be happier after having our wedding at Prairie Street Brewery and we would hands down recommend having your wedding here too! Reviewed on 04-12-2019
Shannon Mercier(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 26-10-2019 We love PSB! From our walk through to our wedding there was great communication, shared ideas, and amazing beer. Nitsy and the PSB team are great at what they do and throw rememberable events. We loved the multiple space options and even had an extra room available on our wedding day when it rained. They truly help take away a lot of the wedding stress with their professionalism and experience! We so recommend them for any future event! Reviewed on 17-11-2019
Hannah Day/Albrecht(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 25-05-2019 Prairie Street was an AWESOME venue for our wedding! They helped with the preparation and communicated frequently (even though I had a ton of questions). I felt at ease knowing they had everything under control. We heard countless compliments about how beautiful the space was. We worked mostly with Danielle and Nitsy, who were wonderful. Reviewed on 10-08-2019
Kelsey Clark(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 29-09-2018 We had an amazing day! The 2 years leading up to our wedding at PSB was great and the coordinators were extremely helpful. At times I felt there were too many coordinators involved and things would get lost in communication but it worked out! The month leading up to our wedding became stressful but Patrick was super helpful and made me understand what was needed. My one issue was that the food was not warm for our guests for dinner service.Overall, the day turned out beautiful and we couldn’t have asked for a better staff to work with! Reviewed on 08-12-2018
Brittani Anselmo(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 08-09-2018 I had my wedding at PSB a couple of weeks ago and it was absolutely perfect! The staff made the planning process stress free and fun. They executed everything flawlessly on the day of our event - I did not need to speak/touch base to a single vendor the day of the wedding! Every staff member we worked with (and that worked our event) was friendly, upbeat and extremely accommodating. The food and beer here is phenomenal as well - all of our guests raved about how great the food was! We received a TON of compliments on this venue from our guests, both in regards to the style of the space and the overall experience the PSB staff provided. We HIGHLY recommend this venue! Katie Gottstein(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 04-08-2018 Wow! I can't tell you enough how perfect our reception was! Everything went so smoothly from setting up, execution, and the food was so, so good! Patrick and Nicole did such a fabulous job with communication prior to our wedding, we live out of state so planning from afar was a challenge, but they made it so much easier. Nicole and all the other coordinators the day of were so amazing and I highly recommend the brewhouse. Beautiful building that is so well kept and spacious. Couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. Reviewed on 19-08-2018
Mary R(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 10-06-2018 We can’t say enough great things about Prairie Street! The venue itself is so unique and beautiful. It’s a little pricier than your standard hotel wedding flare, but certainly worth it. We worked with multiple event staff members throughout the planning process, and each one was great, especially Nitsy and Nicole! They are extremely flexible and accommodated all of our requests from start to finish. They also have great relationships with the best Rockford vendors. It made planning from Chicago so much easier. We could trust that our vendors would work well with the staff at Prairie Street to ensure everything was perfect. Thanks so much! Reviewed on 11-06-2018
Carol C.(bride)2 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 27-12-2018 Communication seems to be a common issue here. I contacted them over a week ago to ask for basic information and have hear nothing from them. I can't imagine being in the middle of the planning process and they go silent. Nevermind, I will look elsewhere for my wedding. Reviewed on 27-10-2017
Katelynn Shilka(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 29-07-2017 Wowzers - we're so happy we chose Prairie Street to celebrate our big day with! We booked our Saturday date 14 months in advance (May for our July wedding). We were hoping to have a June wedding, but they were already booked through the month. So if you're looking to book with them, be sure to book early! For the most part, their communication was pretty great! Outside of the occasional 4-5 day delay in responding the e-mails, they were pretty phenomenal. The only other thing I would speak to \"negatively\" (not a big deal, really) is the fact that you do get tossed around to multiple different people in the planning process. One to book you, then you get transferred to another person as you get about 6 months out, and then another about 4 months out. Even then, there is a chance that the \"final\" person you're put with to discuss details with won't be there on the big day and will be a different member of their team - I will admit I was a little upset about this at first, but the amount of organization there is between the team is phenomenal, and honestly the day went off without a hitch. I only say this so that if you book, you're aware of this and aren't caught off guard as I was. I will say though that everything was phenomenal from a day of service standpoint. For example, the water levels were high the morning of the wedding, but was going down as the day went on - Patrick (the event manager) was legitimately out there in his suit spraying off the docks so that the muck and algae wouldn't be in our pictures during the ceremony. Anything we asked the day of, they accommodated, and we are so thankful for everything they did. We were concerned that the bathroom was shared with the public, however security was phenomenal. We had one issue with wedding crashers (that came in a side entrance) and the staff was on them immediately. I really cannot speak highly enough of them - The staff there is phenomenal. Don't hesitate to book with them! Reviewed on 19-08-2017

Katie Wurm(bride)2 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 13-08-2016 The venue itself was beautiful and the fact we could have everything at one place was amazing. The communication sucks. I had to nag to get things done. They would not have set up a tasting had I not kept asking. We made our final payment two weeks before the date. We asked when we would have to come in to meet for our set up. They were rushing us to do that in a few days. This is the stuff that they need to just send a quick email to let me know I need to think of what day to do it on. They also screwed up having gluten free noodle option for a few guests which was on our plan. They then interrupted me the bride while eating to ask me if they needed to make the noodles. I was also supposed to get a custom sign, one person said it fell off the building, another said it was in river. Either way we would get the sign, it's now over a month later and I haven't gotten a sign. If your ok nagging and having poor communication this is the place for you. If i did it over again I'd pick somewhere else, it's so expensive for what you got. Reviewed on 18-09-2016

Our experience wasn't the best I don't know if it's because we were not in prime wedding season or the fact the staff changed half way through the planning process. My biggest complaint that the food was not the quality we had received during our tasting. Overall this place is just for looks. That is what your paying for. Reviewed on 09-12-2015
Jennifer Gregg(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 04-07-2015 My husband and I were married at Prairie Street Brewhouse July 4, 2015. I absolutely loved my venue, and the staff was great! I worked with Rachael P., what a lovely person to help make sure everything runs perfectly! If you are looking for a venue that is beautiful in every inch, with amazing food, PSBH is it! I received so many compliments on the wedding for weeks, and still getting texts about it a month later. I have no doubt that I chose the perfect place for our wedding day. Even better, we were able to have half the outside dock, which we saw the downtown fireworks! What a perfect day! Reviewed on 04-08-2015
Becky Member(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 07-03-2015 We wanted to have a beautiful space because with an early March wedding we knew we were not going to have beautiful weather. PSB did not disappoint. We were able to have amazing pictures and the venue was so open it didn't feel dark and dreary inside. The staff is fantastic to work with and the food was amazing! I highly recommend it. Nothing else like it in the Rockford area. Reviewed on 03-04-2015

This venue is unique, fun and charming. The open bar with all the beer choices was awesome and you and tell the owners are investing a lot in the property--it improved constantly from the time we booked to our event. For this type of space, I thought the value was decent. Although, service is part of the equation. There were a lot of personnel changes during the time I worked with them--two of my main contacts left either the day before or after my wedding, so I think once they are fully staffed they will be in a better position to provide a great experience from start to finish. Taylor Smith(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 06-07-2012 Prairie Street as a location and as a service provider were great. The overall ambiance of the place is the first plus. We did very little in the way of decorating and it was still gorgeous. That helped us cut budget in other areas. However, if you're a little more into the ornate, there is definitely the ability to go all out. Also, we had both our ceremony and reception here. Utterly convenient. We were in love with the place. The people were very helpful, too. Reviewed on 07-08-2012
Danielle Sage(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 30-06-2012 We went to an art show years ago at the Prairie Street Brewhouse and thought this would be a neat place to get married, but we weren't even engaged at this point or sure if they held weddings there. When we got engaged a year and half later it was one of the 3 venues we met with and immediately booked the last June wedding (by this time they were a full on wedding venue). We booked the whole site (3 rooms + the dock). It was reasonably priced and allowed us to pick our own vendors (which was key for us!) They were in charge of the alcohol which was also pretty reasonably priced (as far as alcohol for wedding goes). The venue was gorgeous that night and they accommodated all our requests. My only complaints would be that I felt a little like they nickel and dimed you for setting up each table, chair, etc. (although it is the wedding industry) and that it was a little hot in the facility (but it was nearly 100 degrees out that day). I'm so glad to have a unique venue like this in the Rockford area! Reviewed on 01-08-2012
