Provence Mills Event Center is a wedding and special event venue located in Girard, OH near the greater Youngstown area. Blending industrial design with a charming French countryside aesthetic, this unique venue is the perfect setting for events of all kinds. Provence Mills Event Center can host events ranging from an intimate gathering to a large celebration of up to 250 guests. There are outdoor options with breathtaking views as well as indoor options that boast a minimalistic look with a neutral color palette and elegant chandeliers – the perfect blank canvas to make any wedding theme your own! First, you can exchange vows overlooking a gorgeous hillside with a wooden arbor and panoramic countryside views as your backdrop. Next, utilize the outdoor space for cocktail hour including an outdoor bar setup, a garden-like setting to lounge and enjoy, and endless places for photo opportunities. Afterwards, head back indoors to the spacious reception room for a fun night of dining, mingling, and dancing! The venue includes several amenities such as clear crystal Chiavari chairs, round and kings tables, floor-length linens, and a colored napkin choice. Locally owned (and loved!) Café 422 is the exclusive caterer for all weddings – choose from one of their amazing buffet options or allow them to custom create a menu for you. They have been around for over 85 years and cook the food directly at the venue to ensure it comes out fresh, hot, and ready for your guests to enjoy! We wanted a small wedding with family and friends to join us in our special day and we knew we also wanted Provence Mills…they did not disappoint! We planned our outdoor ceremony and an indoor reception to follow. Along the way, Slavenca listened to our wishes and made relevant and appropriate recommendations. It rained the morning of our wedding day and the team at Provence Mills went into action making arrangements for an indoor ceremony, just in case. Luckily, the sun came through and the team so graciously granted my wish to keep our outdoor ceremony! We had the space in the “She Shed” to get ready (so cute and chic), the sun shining on us as we looked over the field to the tree line, the perfect music during the ceremony and reception and the best overall atmosphere. The lighting, the chairs, the perfectly arranged flowers…it was just wonderdul…everything I didn’t even know I wanted. I never dreamed of a fairytale wedding, even still, I felt like a princess on my wedding day. Thank you, Provence Mills!

We had the best experience with Provence Mills! Every sit down we had with the staff to discuss pricing, menu, payment timeline, and day of schedule was seamless. The owners allowed us to set up early since there wasn’t a wedding the day before and it was SUPER helpful. Our guests loved the indoor/outdoor feature of venue, as did we (there’s so many different photo options with this perk). Our guests raved about the food & the bar service. I 1000% recommend building your own menu so you get exactly what you want, it worked out great for us. I can’t say enough great things about PM, the owners are so kind and professional - I would recommend this one of a kind “one stop shop” venue to all future brides. Catering, floral, tables, chairs, alcohol - we only had to get 2 extra vendors for our wedding. It was so helpful that (practically) everything we needed was under one roof in our contract! Definitely check Provence Mills out, you won’t regret it.

I absolutely love this event center. I have had multiple events there myself and have been extremely happy every time! My sister had her wedding there and it was absolutely stunning! The girls there do a wonderful job decorating and are very accommodating. Food is always amazing! Would highly recommend!

We just had our reception at Provence Mills last weekend and everything was GREAT! We had nothing but compliments after hosting a fun, happy reception. The staff is great and so helpful. The space is perfect on its own and easily customizable. We would suggest this venue to anyone!

Kara and her team were incredible throughout our wedding planning process. We live in Tennessee but decided to get married in Youngstown (where we are from) so we planned the entire thing from 8 hours away. Kara was incredibly responsive via phone and email, and never made me feel bad for asking hundreds of questions. She walked through all our final touches a few weeks before the wedding and explained how everything would flow and the prices, which was really nice to know everything ahead of time. When the day arrived, she helped us set up all our DIY decorations and offered easels to use when ours didn't work. We got so many compliments on the delicious food as well - and I can't say enough good things about the wait staff as they were so attentive to my husband and I. They got our food for us and even asked us if we needed a drink a few times throughout the night. I'd highly recommend this venue to anyone in the Youngstown area - it's so beautiful inside and very modern compared to some of the other older venues. The team is top notch and I'm so glad we picked this venue to get married.

Having our wedding at Province Mills was the best choice we made! We planned our wedding living 3 hours away and Kara, Slavenca, & Bri made planning so easy and stress-free! They were quick to respond, provided their knowledge & expertise to help us throughout the planning, and ensure our day was perfect (which is was🙂). Provence Mills was a perfect addition to the Youngstown area and our guests loved the venue just as much as we did. We particularly loved the big bar, the modern but elegant style, & having a cozy and beautiful back patio area for our guests to extend the party. Cafe 422 provided amazing food & working with Kara for my floral was nothing short of amazing. She brought my vision to life & I loved working with her. She even stopped by the wedding TWICE even though it was her day off. Slavenca & Bri were also so helpful throughout planning as well and worked our wedding day. We are forever grateful for all 3 of these ladies & we will be recommending Provence Mills to any and everyone we know!

This venue is beautiful! The staff was fantastic and helpful! Our wedding went so smoothly and we are so grateful! They have an exclusive cater which made things easy and our guests loved the food. There is enough space on the property for pictures, ceremony, and reception. It's an all in one kind of place! I would highly recommend this venue for anyone who is looking to check a majority of their boxes right off the bat. Gorgeous, easy, efficient, and perfect!

Choosing Provence Mills was one of the best decisions I made when it came to our wedding. I would choose their venue over and over again (and I wish I could relive our day over and over!)1. First off- my grandparents immigrated to the US back in the 60's from Italy- so I have been spoiled my entire life. I am always super critical of food. Especially Italian. Cafe 422-- I honestly can't say enough good things. The wedding spread was absolutely incredible. And we got a semi basic package. You know how like 99% of the weddings you go to, the food is lukewarm, barely seasoned and just overall trash? Our wedding food was incredible and got raves for literally everyone at our wedding. So good! 2) Kara and Slavenca were awesome-- almost everything is included so you don't need to worry about much- the linens, centerpieces, chairs, and table set up. And everything was set-up to exactly what I wanted. They were responsive and willing to accommodate a lot of our requests. They take pride in their venue and it absolutely shows. 3) Kara is a florist by trade and OMG. Wow. HIGHLY recommend choosing her to be your florist too. She did my bouquet and bridesmaids bouquets, the boutonnieres, and the large centerpieces that I wanted on my head table. I sent her like 3 photos I saw on Pinterest- and she BY FAR exceeded my expectations. And the price is great too!Overall-- we didn't have one single hiccup with our day. The venue was designed beautifully, and the food was incredible. I'm extremely picky when it comes to design + interiors, and Provence Mills is the best place you're going to find anywhere in the area. You should book it.

The place is GORGEOUS! The vibe is unlike any other around. Honestly, I was blown away by everything from the hospitality you feel when you first walk in the doors and all the way to the warmth the owners share with you that make you feel like family. PRIVATE SUNSET ANNIVERSARY DINNERThis venue provided my husband and I with a beautiful, private sunset dinner. The decor and flowers were perfect. It was a perfect, relaxing evening. We were able to relax on a comfortable sofa and enjoy appetizers, drinks, and watch the sunset. Music played in the background, and the food was delicious. We had the most amazing desserts too! The venue provided top notch service during our dinner. Planning the dinner was so simple, and the team was very detail-oriented. I highly recommend their services!

My wife and I had been planning to renew our vows on our 25th anniversary and plans kept changing as to where we were going to do them at and how to celebrate afterward due to everything going on in the world as of late…it was just going to be a very intimate affair with just our kids involved. We learned of a new venue opening soon in Girard, OH—Provence Mills, and they were more than inviting and compassionate to the challenges we were facing trying to plan our special day.Kara and Slavenca, the co-owners and event planners, couldn’t have possibly done a finer job hosting us after our ceremony. They purposefully set-up two separate seating areas—one overlooking a spectacular view of a wooded valley to enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres; the other within a really cool steel structure to enjoy our main meal. And the food! The hors d’oeuvres were nothing short of spectacular—artichokes romano and bacon-wrapped filets, followed, at our own pace, with scallops, ahi tuna, caprese salad, and prosciutto-wrapped asparagus as our main course. They finished-off the evening with a replica of our wedding cake, which was such a special touch! The whole evening was unforgettable, and my wife and I remarked that it might have actually been better than our actual wedding day festivities, because we could just relax and enjoy ourselves. We didn’t have the pressure of greeting guests and “putting on a show”. Kara’s and Slavenca’s attention to detail was ridiculous! They didn’t miss a thing and they secretly worked with our daughter to have pictures from our original wedding sitting in tasteful frames around the respective seating areas. That was so nice! It really took us back to that day. Before dinner, they arranged to play our wedding song, which gave me the chance to dance with my wife again. They also arranged to have a photographer there to capture the moments as we arrived and interacted with our adult kids throughout the evening. It was just such a great and special evening for us. We didn’t know what to expect, as we left the whole evening in Kara’s hands to coordinate…if they do for a bigger event what they did for us, you’ll be extremely happy. Simply amazing!

My experience with Provence Mills in Girard, Ohio for my 25th anniversary vow renewal celebration was nothing short of amazing. I had been following the renovation of this unique and beautiful French country/industrial vibe event location on Instagram and their website. Having heard my situation of a cancelled ceremony and celebration combined with unsuccessful attempts to reschedule this event, Kara, one of the owners of Provence Mills, approached me and offered to host this event at Provence Mills. While not quite open, the renovation of the space and the owners were more than ready to handle our intimate event. My husband and I were immediately thankful, tearful, and appreciative. This event was so meaningful to us as we celebrated our first 25 years and embraced the future of our marriage. Kara’s offer allowed us to schedule this event and experience one of the most beautiful memories in our marriage on the actual day of our silver anniversary, June 17th!We had our ceremony in Pittsburgh and the venue was so convenient – so Ohio or PA – look no further than Provence Mills for your special event. Kara was fabulous to work with. She is caring, creative, trustworthy, organized, and has attention to detail like I’ve never experienced. She asked all the right questions, listened intently, took careful notes, and offered unique ideas. Kara coordinated and provided services from her extensive network of wedding-related businesses (catering, bakeries, photography, calligraphy, and etc.) in order to customize our special day. Once we discussed a plan, she took it from there and offered regular updates and checked in for confirmations as needed. Working with Kara made it not only fun, but extremely stress free. Take it from me and my Type A personality, I did not worry- I simply enjoyed the moments leading up to a special celebration with my husband and children. I knew after working with Kara and her lovely business partner Slavenca, that my event was in the hands of sweet, caring, and extremely capable professionals. When I arrived at Provence Mills, what I saw brought tears of joy and awe to my eyes. The space in which we relaxed with our children and enjoyed amazing appetizers and a delicious five-star meal transported me to a beautiful resort-like atmosphere. We decided to have our event outdoors and the view and sunset was simply breathtaking. The entire evening was well-paced and well-orchestrated. There was as a nod to our original wedding cake as dessert – Kara contacted a bakery and they recreated our wedding cake which I never got to eat at our first wedding! The dinner space had personalized menus, pictures of us, a photographer there upon arrival to capture the moment, and many other personal touches that made the event special. We even got to dance to our original wedding song. I can’t say enough about this gorgeous venue and extremely talented event planners - Kara and Slavenca! I highly recommend Provence Mills – you will be so glad you chose them

Kara’s offer allowed us to schedule this event and experience one of the most beautiful memories in our marriage on the actual day of our silver anniversary, June 17th!We had our ceremony in Pittsburgh and the venue was so convenient – so Ohio or PA – look no further than Provence Mills for your special event. Kara was fabulous to work with. She is caring, creative, trustworthy, organized, and has attention to detail like I’ve never experienced. She asked all the right questions, listened intently, took careful notes, and offered unique ideas. Kara coordinated and provided services from her extensive network of wedding-related businesses (catering, bakeries, photography, calligraphy, and etc.) in order to customize our special day. Once we discussed a plan, she took it from there and offered regular updates and checked in for confirmations as needed. Working with Kara made it not only fun, but extremely stress free. Take it from me and my Type A personality, I did not worry- I simply enjoyed the moments leading up to a special celebration with my husband and children. I knew after working with Kara and her lovely business partner Slavenca, that my event was in the hands of sweet, caring, and extremely capable professionals. When I arrived at Provence Mills, what I saw brought tears of joy and awe to my eyes. The space in which we relaxed with our children and enjoyed amazing appetizers and a delicious five-star meal transported me to a beautiful resort-like atmosphere. We decided to have our event outdoors and the view and sunset was simply breathtaking. The entire evening was well-paced and well-orchestrated. There was as a nod to our original wedding cake as dessert – Kara contacted a bakery and they recreated our wedding cake which I never got to eat at our first wedding! The dinner space had personalized menus, pictures of us, a photographer there upon arrival to capture the moment, and many other personal touches that made the event special. We even got to dance to our original wedding song. I can’t say enough about this gorgeous venue and extremely talented event planners - Kara and Slavenca! I highly recommend Provence Mills – you will be so glad you chose them

Slavenca Mararri and Kara Stouffer (Owner) Hi! We are the owners and operators of Provence Mills Event Center! A few years back we both had a dream to have our very own wedding venue and, after finding the perfect location and a lot of hard work, we opened what we lovingly refer to as \"the Mills\"! And now, we get to enjoy what we do every day and love celebrating with our couples! We are very hands-on owners and are typically the ones responding to emails and running events. The best part is, no matter how far away your wedding is, you will always have a consistent contact with us, along with our amazing team of venue coordinators.
