Quail Ranch Events is a private avocado and citrus ranch located just outside of Los Angeles in Ventura County, in the city of Simi Valley. The orchards and a newly planted vineyard thrive on the hillsides alongside colorful citrus, towering pines, and majestic oak trees. The Estate home, known as the Ranch House, was built in 1933. The Spanish revival architecture adds a historic charm and beauty to the property. A hidden gem high on the hill, Quail Ranch provides an intimate and elegant setting perfect for a ceremony and reception. Quail Ranch provides a spacious Bridal suite that is light and bright and beautifully furnished and a fantastic groom's /partner's room that features dark wood paneling, pool table and leather chairs. Private and intimate, the grounds at Quail Ranch are immaculate and the outdoor setting allows for comfortable and elegant entertaining. Quail Ranch in Simi Valley California is amazing! The grounds are lush with greenery, shade trees, and flowers. Every square inch is impeccably groomed, and the Spanish Revival architecture of the home, combined with the landscaping details, fountains, and surrounding avocado groves and citrus trees, provide unending photo opportunities for the bridal party and guests. Quail Ranch is perched high on a hill with a “golden hour” photo setting unmatched anywhere. The guests at my daughter’s wedding were raving about the food and bar service provided by their exclusive caterer, Command Performance, and couldn’t stop talking about the gorgeous surroundings. By the time the evening lights came into play, guests were calling it a fairytale setting, magical, and wishing they never had to leave! Joanne and her staff are professional and kind, making each person feel like a truly welcome, special guest. Another real bonus choosing Quail Ranch is its privacy. Not only is it secluded, but they only host one event per day, so the entire venue is yours alone. You will find tons of space to move from one area to the next: A unique ceremony space with a grand staircase (and a refreshment area with pre-ceremony iced tea, water, and lemonade from their own lemon trees!), an expansive lawn for cocktail hour, and a charming reception area behind the house with room for dancing. Our guests also spilled onto the brick circular drive, accentuated by an enormous shade tree draped in lights, where we stationed a gelato cart and some fun outdoor seating. I honestly can’t imagine hosting a wedding and reception anywhere else!

Quail Ranch was absolutely gorgeous! The flow from the ceremony space to cocktail hour to reception is perfect. The property is immaculately maintained with flowers and fountains everywhere, so it really doesn't need much extra decoration at all. While Joanne does have a lot of rules, it makes sense because she and her husband live on-property. They've thought of all the details already, so just roll with it! In terms of required vendors, Command Performance Catering knocked it out of the park with food and bar service. We've also heard no complaints about valet or security, although they were on the pricey side. Overall, we'd recommend Quail Ranch for a luxurious guest experience!

My son and DIL had their wedding at Quail in September and it was absolutely magical. The venue is stunning, the service was outstanding, and the food was excellent. Truly just a magical experience for our family and guests - we would book again there in a heartbeat. Michael did an outstanding job as coordinator. If I had to dig deep to provide any constructive feedback, I would say that there was a bit of a wait for some tables to receive food and wait staff did not offer to refill wine at our table - but feeding 100 people delicious food in a short period of time is a tall order. Our cocktail hour was spread out on the lawn area and in the beautiful brick circle - I think that space was a little too big for 100 people as we felt a little too spread out - maybe just the brick circle area would have sufficed and been a bit more conducive to gathering the groups together. Altogether just lovely - our guests have not stopped raving about it. And we brought a newborn grandson with us - we had been concerned after reading a few reviews about navigating restrictions on use of the bridal suite, but we worked out details far ahead of time with Michael that allowed the groom's sister/best person to pump and nurse as needed, and for her in laws to sit with the baby away from the reception as needed. They deserve their five star reputation!

Quail Ranch is such a hidden gem! You would never assume that a little driveway off a main road in Simi Valley would lead to this beautiful venue. We held our wedding here in May and got so many compliments from guests on how perfect the venue was. We liked how there was separate areas for each event (ceremony, cocktail, reception) within Quail Ranch, and the locations of each allow for a seamless flow of the night. The owners are extremely welcoming, organized, and have wonderful relations with their preferred vendors. Great how they offer in-house rentals and planning services as well. It is on the pricier side for a venue but was worth it to us, especially since it felt unique from the other venues in the area. We toured upwards of 10 other places in the surrounding area. Note that there is valet and security requirements so factor that into your planning. Definitely recommend if it's in your budget!

Quail Ranch is an amazing venue! My fiancé looked at the venue without me and he called me afterwards saying \"I want to marry you here\" The orchards surrounding the venue is breath taking. Joanne and Michael were so great to work with. Any questions that we had, they were an email away. The venue has everything down to a science that way your day is perfect and I can confirm our day was perfect. Quail Ranch is an absolute dream wedding venue. On top of a hill nestled in orchards of fresh fruit, there are 3 separate areas to take advantage of - ceremony, cocktail hour, reception - so at each part of the day your guests are surprised with yet another gorgeous area surrounded by nature. The Spanish style house is a gorgeous backdrop, enormous trees are everywhere, great photo ops, etc. One of the things that makes Quail Ranch stand out is it is not only is it the most gorgeous, private property, but Joanne, the owner, is the most detailed oriented vendor owner you'll meet. She has thought about every single detail of the flow of a wedding, from where the caterers should line up to provide the first drinks to guest to the angle of the stairs for the grand entrance and everything in between. I didn't think we would find someone who puts this much care into the details, but Joanne proved me wrong! If you have the opportunity to have your wedding here, I highly recommend it. It's stunning in every way!

We knew from the moment we toured the venue that this location was above and beyond anything else we had looked at, and we would continue to be impressed throughout the entire process. Joanne was very kind and accommodating to allow us to bring our parents back on short notice for a tour of the venue as well. After booking the venue, Joanne was supportive and organized throughout the months of planning, she was always available to answer any questions we had. The wedding day was perfect and much of that success was due to the organization of the team at Quail Ranch. The catering they have chosen is also amazing, it is truly the best wedding food. They have thought of every last detail to wow you and your guests. This venue and staff is truly perfect, I feel so lucky that we were able to have our wedding here. Thank you Quail Ranch, Joanne, & team - your venue and services provided us the most memorable day of celebrating with our loved ones.

We visited a lot of venues but when we drove up to Quail Ranch, we knew it was the one. The property is stunning and meticulously up-kept, while still feeling natural and not at all like a wedding factory (like some other venues we toured). From the lemon grove surrounding the ceremony site, to the lush gardens and flowers, to the reception area, we fell in love with Quail Ranch as a venue. The owner, Joanne, and her staff were fantastic during the initial tour, and I can't say enough good things about how perfectly our big day went - even our wedding planners were impressed by how the catering company, the venue, and the rentals all worked seamlessly to produce the perfect event. The service and food were fantastic, and every single thing, from the ceremony to the reception, was exactly as requested. If you are considering Quail Ranch - schedule a tour and you'll see what I'm talking about. I can't imagine having my wedding anywhere else. Quail Ranch was the perfect venue for our wedding! The grounds are meticulously maintained and the gorgeous, mature trees on the property created a beautiful backdrop for our celebration. The flow from ceremony to cocktail hour at the ranch house to the beautiful reception space couldn’t be more perfect. So many of our guests said it was the best wedding they had been to. Everyone loved it. I couldn’t be happier with my wedding day and I can’t wait to see our photos. The sunset location is amazing! We had a smaller wedding than originally planned but everyone was comfortable and I wouldn’t change a thing. I can highly recommend this venue!

Quail Ranch was the perfect venue for our wedding! The grounds are meticulously maintained and the gorgeous, mature trees on the property created a beautiful backdrop for our celebration. The flow from ceremony to cocktail hour at the ranch house to the beautiful reception space couldn’t be more perfect. So many of our guests said it was the best wedding they had been to. Everyone loved it. I couldn’t be happier with my wedding day and I can’t wait to see our photos. The sunset location is amazing! Quail Ranch is a breathtaking venue. It's an ideal location for an outdoor, country-style event with gorgeous backdrops of Simi Valley's finest views. The three different locations at the venue--ceremony space, the lawn for cocktail hour, and the reception area--are perfect for an event that allows guests to enjoy different scenes and atmospheres throughout the night. Note that the venue has fairly strict rules, which can be a positive or a negative feature, depending on your perspective. The exclusive caterer, while arguably pricey, removes the need to plan all of the small details, as they are mostly pre-set. But this allows the couple to focus on the central decisions without having to wade into the frustrating details. Overall, an amazing venue for a beautiful wedding!

There’s no doubt this venue is beautiful and they have everything mapped out to the smallest little detail that I doubt a thing would go wrong on your wedding day. But I do want to warn brides that are looking for venues - if you have a budget or a smaller wedding that you want to try sticking to or around, please do not drive out to this venue. My fiancée and I did and the moment the manager found out about our smaller wedding (60 guests) her face completely fell and she was extremely rude and rushed us through the rest of the visit. It was as if the dollar signs floated away and she wanted nothing to do with us. I had told her about our budget 15-20k but it was not completely firm - and she scolded me and said my plans were unrealistic. It was a very discouraging visit. I hope no one else has to deal with that. (But if you have no budget, this place is def the one for you - it’s beautiful)

Thinking back at our wedding at Quail Ranch, it all seems like a real life fairy tale!! It was a dream come true venue for us. We looked at so many venues in Southern California and knew we wanted to be married outdoors in a classic California style \"ranch\" setting. Our wedding day turned out better than we could have ever dreamed!Quail Ranch checked off so many of our boxes: nature, polished, upscale, secluded and private. It was so well kept that it minimized our floral and décor budget. This was especially true in the Spring but having first visited the venue in the Fall/Winter, it was always immaculately kept. We looked at so many venues during our wedding planning but really nothing compared to Quail Ranch and the beautiful grounds. For us, unless we wanted to spend twice as much at a hotel in Santa Barbara, nothing else came even remotely close to how much we loved the feeling at Quail. We also each loved the separate (and plush) Bride & Groom Suites.The owners were very warm, welcoming and professional. Joanne was always readily available to be of help along the way with questions and requests. One thing to consider is that this is somebody's home and it is an operational ranch/orchard, which felt extra special for us and our guests! While sure there were some strict requirements in order to rent the venue, we would gladly do it all over again and understand how all those things all made a difference. We are so happy that we chose Quail and would recommend it in a heart beat!

Thinking back at our wedding at Quail Ranch, it all seems like a real life fairy tale!! It was a dream come true venue for us. Quail Ranch is Simi Valley’s hidden gem. From our first visit, we were immediately drawn to the wide array of florals and greenery. This place is unique, with a ceremony space underneath a huge oak tree, to a cocktail hour outside of a spanish style home, and the reception space underneath another oak tree and twinkly lights everywhere. This venue truly transforms to whatever your wedding theme may be. Joanne (the owner) takes incredible pride in her home and it shows with how spectacular the venue is as a whole. Quail Ranch is a one stop shop for all of your wedding needs. The staff on site are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. There is an exclusive caterer, Command Performance Catering, that takes care of all the weddings there and are experts on all things Quail Ranch. There is also a bride suite perfect for getting those final touches in before the ceremony begins, as well as a grooms room perfect for the guys to relax before the chaos begins. This venue makes you feel like you are getting married in your own backyard and is the perfect place to hold your big day!

Quail Ranch is one of the dreamiest wedding venues ever!!!! We loved this venue from the moment we saw it and all of our guests could not get over how beautiful our wedding was! We fell in love with the organic feel of this property. Everything from getting married under a big tree to dancing the night away outside under twinkle lights was our dream wedding. Joanne, the owner of the venue is so sweet and professional we loved getting to work with her! Her and her husband are such great people we genuinely wanted them to come party with us at our wedding! One of the first things that really set this venue apart for us was having the luxury of getting ready in the bridal and groom suite. The food was delicious, we were able to bring in our own alcohol, and have a band! All boxes that were important we check. Many of our guests said it was one of the nicest weddings they have ever been to and all my friends could not get over how beautiful all my pictures looked thanks to the gorgeous setting! It truly was a perfect day and we LOVE Quail Ranch.

Enchanting, Gorgeous, Beautiful, spacious, intimate, stunning - these are just some of the many positive things myself and our wedding guests said about our wedding at Quail Ranch in late April. Don’t let the photos on here fool you, it does not do it justice. The estate is tucked away in the hills of Simi surrounded by oak trees, California pepper trees, lush gardens, Spanish inspired architecture and is a hidden gem. The ceremony space ... ugh!!! Nothing beats walking down the staircase and down the aisle wedding under an oak tree. WE WISH WE COULD RELIVE THE WHOLE DAY. As a bride, we are told to expect set backs - not here. Literally everything could not have gone more flawless and we are overjoyed with the entire experience. BEST DAY OF OUR LIVES and our most sincere thank you - we are so happy with Quail Ranch. Our experience with Joanne could not have been any better. She was willing to work with our budgets and help accommodate us in so many ways.
