Overlooking the breathtaking natural vistas of Narragansett Bay, Quidnessett Country Club is a wedding venue in North Kingstown, RI. Our daughter's wedding reception was at Quidnessett Country Club last month. Everything about the experience was wonderful!! Scott Brodie our point of contact was amazing and so attentive to all details. I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone planning a wedding!!

We booked our wedding reception at Quidnessett Country Club in June 2020 for our September 2022 wedding. Throughout that period, there was a lot of staff turnover due to the pandemic, but we are so glad we ended up with Scott. Scott went above and beyond to make our wedding special. The venue is gorgeous, especially after the remodel, and the food and service were both fantastic. Scott paid close attention to details and was super responsive to our needs. It was a pleasure to work with him and his staff. The only reason I cannot give five stars is due to the steep price increase. Though it was out of their control due to inflation, I do think the prices agreed upon at contract signing should be honored and the situation should have been handled differently.

Best day ever with the help of Quidnessett country club. Two years of planning our wedding during the pandemic was stressful, but Quidnessett was there to ease a lot of questions I had. My only concern I had leading up to the wedding was their employee turnover. (Probably due from the pandemic) It seemed like every few months I had someone emailing me to let me know they were taking over for so and so. But they had decent communication and were very responsive and came together beautifully for the special day and that’s what matters most. During the event two meals were given to the incorrect guest, but was resolved very quickly. Even after the wedding I had people coming up to us telling us how delicious their meal was and that was one of the more important aspects of the wedding for us. I can’t thank Sarah and her team enough!

I am the groom from the October 2021 wedding referenced in the 12/29/21 review. I echo my wife’s entire experience, and also want to mention that we communicated our issues directly with the venue multiple times and gave them opportunities to make things right, but they simply did not meet our expectations for our wedding day. Not surprisingly, I see that they are trying to dispute her original review. As she mentioned, they are quicker to respond to negative reviews in public than they are to respond to emails sent in private. To address what they said in their dispute, the woman that we hired was NOT our wedding coordinator. She does offer those services, but that is not what we contracted her for. We hired her as our decorator and officiant, but she ended up having to do extra work because of the poor communication and service we were receiving from the venue. Even if she were our coordinator, that still wouldn’t make up for the issues we had with their lack of communication, disorganization, missing champagne toast, slow dinner service, etc. And also, nowhere in our contract, planning packet, or promotional materials we received said that all we were doing was “renting a facility.” If that's all we wanted we would have chose another venue. Their response is unprofessional and just shows you why we were unhappy with the entire experience.

I had my wedding at Quidnessett in October 2021, and it was a very disappointing experience. I found the communication to be lacking, especially in the weeks leading up to my wedding. On the wedding day itself, the service we received was very poor. Plates stayed on the table uncleared, water glasses were not refilled, the champagne toast was missed, and the main course came out late. Throughout the entire night my bridesmaids kept having to go find an employee to rectify various issues as they arose. There was actually another wedding going on at the same time as mine, and I spoke with the other bride who also said she experienced terrible service, so I know it wasn’t just me. I had met and spoken with representatives from the venue several times before and after the wedding, and at no point did I feel they took my issues seriously. They are however, very quick to dispute bad reviews, and even get them taken down. The bottom line is that I would never recommend Quidnessett as a venue to anyone.

We had our son's wedding there on 8/28/21. It is a gorgeous place to hold a reception and the wedding day staff was very courteous and accommodating and the food was amazing. I wish I could say the same for our coordinator. It took many calls from our son before he got the responses he needed. Also, beware of the contract. Linda was absolutely incredible to work with, the food was phenomenal, views and ballroom were stunning, and the staff was so courteous and thorough! Everything was set up beautifully and the views from the ballroom were stunning. It has been renovated recently, so if you have not seen it recently you really need to give it another glance. I honestly cannot recommend Quidnessett enough!

We would like to give a huge shout out to Quidnessett Country Club’s banquet staff. QCC hosted our daughter’s wedding reception on Saturday, August 7, 2021. This wedding was over 2 years in the making due to the Covid pandemic interfering with the original date of 1 year prior. From the very first meeting, we bonded with Linda Martin. She genuinely delighted in our delights and sympathized in our frustrations over the 2 year process. She never hesitated to take calls or visits from us and was always so accommodating. The wedding day finally arrived and it exceeded our high expectations. The coordinator for the evening was Tammy. She was wonderful. Many guests mentioned how awesome the bartenders were, making special note of Randy. The wait staff were attentive and efficient. The food - spectacular!!! The vegetable antipasto display along with the flatbread pizza station were beautifully displayed and enjoyed by all. We chose the seared filet of salmon and the filet mignon with asparagus risotto and baby carrots for our entrees. Our guests are still talking about how delicious the food was. Melt in your mouth entrees were perfectly cooked and served hot. The portions were more than generous. We had 135 guests in the Bayview Room, which was a spectacular setting. We whole heartedly recommend this venue. Thank you, QCC, especially Linda, for being an integral part of having our daughter’s dreams come true!

Quidnessett was a beautiful venue for our ceremony and reception. The building and grounds provide several locations for photographs inside and out. Our reception was held in the Narragansett Room, which had been recently renovated and provided a great view of the water. The room and dance floor fit our 125 guests perfectly. The food was delicious and service was excellent. We were originally slated to be married in the front garden, but had to relocate when the venue converted the garden into a tented patio. We were unfortunately not informed of this until 3 weeks prior to our wedding, but thankfully Quidnessett had a second garden we could use. It ended up being a rainy day and we were forced to relocate the ceremony indoors. Quidnessett converted one of their banquet rooms into a ceremony space, and it worked out very well. The conversion of the garden to a patio was the only hiccup we experienced. Quidnessett was a flexible venue that provided a beautiful backdrop for our ceremony and reception. I highly recommend Quidnessett Country Club, Linda will make your wedding day easy and stress-free!

EVERYONE raved! You hit it out of the park!The room was incredible especially at night during the rise of the hunters moon on the bay that evening. Just amazing. We worked with Linda planning the whole process. She was always so nice to us and really helped us with a direction for our wedding. She was quick to respond to any phone calls and emails and very straight forward. Leah helped us the day of the wedding and she was wonderful. The day of the wedding everything went as smooth as possible and the room was decorated exactly as I wanted. I am extremely satisfied with this venue.

There is a major reason I am giving 1 star. My wedding day was October 8th and we had a great day other than the major disaster with all of our tables. After going over and over the table numbers and giving them three copies of how they should be set up, not one table was correct. My mother, my in-laws, my bridal party and my siblings were stuck in the back of the room not able to see us. They offered to move only my mother and this wasn't until after everyone had already sat at their tables. Thank God for my mother who was so calm, because I almost lost it. It was also brought to my attention that after specifying that we had about 10 people with allergies that all hors d'oeuvres were served on the same platter so people couldn't enjoy them. When we were leaving my husband and friends noticed that there was someone working for Quidnessett who is a known criminal. When we asked to speak with Ron the general manager he basically said he would do nothing and that he doesn't give restitutions and instead offered to invite us to a holiday party with people we wouldn't know. Once they have your money apparently all their hospitality and caring goes right out the window! Well I guess they forgot people can review them. I suggest you find somewhere else that wont ruin your special day!

Quidnessett knows that their doing! Lorraine and her team are the best. They were great at accommodating our ideas and making it all a reality. The photos taken there were phenomenal as their grounds are so nice, especially during sunset.

Quidnessett Country Club was amazing! Despite the rain, we had a fantastic time on our wedding day 8/18/17. The best decision that we made was booking our wedding at Quidnessett Country Club! Our wedding was absolutely perfect and we are still glowing from our perfect day. The views from the venue are absolutely spectacular and every guest was out on the decks taking pictures. The sales team was very professional and catered to my every need. They were very easy to work with and helped with everything during the planning process. The day of our wedding we worked with Leah (wedding coordinator) and she was nothing but amazing! She set up our room the exact way that I had imagined it and I did not need to worry about a thing on our special day. Quidnessett Country Club has top-notch food and many guests stated that this was the best wedding food that they have ever had. The appetizers are phenomenal as well as the main courses and sides. Also, the staff accommodated any guest with an allergy or food intolerance. I would recommend Quidnessett to anyone looking to host a wedding or event!

I just got married here on 9/4/16 and myWedding was absolutely perfect. From the second I pulled in the driveway I fell in love with the place. Linda was amazing to work with and answered everyone of my panicked phone calls and eased my mind. We had our ceremony and reception at Quidnessett 7/30/16. The ceremony was in the garden and the reception in the Narragansett room. The entire staff was so helpful throughout all the planning and the day of. We worked with Linda for the planning and Johann was our day of coordinator. They were both great to work with, because of them I was so relaxed the day of the wedding because I knew they had it all under control. The venue is stunning, the food is delicious, and all of our guests said that it was one of the most beautiful weddings they had been to.

Linda, my wedding coordinator and was SO HELPFUL! She gave me so much good information and I feel she was the reason my wedding day went as smoothly as it did. She made recommendations of other vendors that I used that were also 5 star reviews! She helped us decide food quantities, and the best drink package for our guests. She even told us the best places to take pictures and some cute pose suggestions! Not to mention, she responded to all of my emails SAME DAY.We had our wedding her in June and everything about it was fantastic. The wedding coordinators (especially Linda) were knowledgeable, responsive, friendly and helpful. The menu options are plentiful, delicious, affordable and cooked to order which is rare to find! We had 200 guests at our wedding, they even extended our room selection as the other portion wasn't booked. They are just SO ACCOMMODATING! They didn't say no to anything, my husbands special beer requests, food restrictions or my incessant questions! The service was incredible! We were served on the golf course while taking pictures - drinks and appetizers. Additionally, the servers saved us a plate of appetizers as we were taking picture during cocktail hour. I never went without a drink or water and my meal was perfect. All of my guests echoed the same sentiment. Timely, friendly and accurate service. I would recommend QCC to anyone looking to have a big wedding, right on the coast while also on a budget.

I got married in October at Quidnessett... Everything through the whole process with Linda was amazing!!! She walked me through every step and was super accommodating to my schedule when we needed to meet. I only have two negatives about my wedding which is why I rated it lower....The day of my wedding the Maitre'D we were assigned was a different person than Linda who had planned my wedding.... I totally understand having a different person, but my assigned person was TERRRRRRRRIBLE, I wish I could remember her name... She wasn't friendly or accommodating...My own grandparents got stuck in traffic coming down for the ceremony and the Maitre'D was bent out of the shape that the ceremony was going to start late... UMMM HELLLLO if I don't care it doesn't matter....Other than that the day of my wedding was PERFECT!!! the food was to DIE FOR, bartenders were quick and efficient!!!My only one other negatives is some of the \"Country Club\" rules were a little ridiculous to me... Loved this venue. beautiful location, and the food was fantastic!!! Linda is wonderful. She was our contact person throughout and helped guide us through every aspect of the process. She responded promptly to emails and telephone calls and even made my husband ( the FOB) her famous chocolate chip cookies!!! My daughter and son-in-law could not have been happier with every aspect of their day. There were a few glitches shared with Linda which should make everyone elses experience run smoothly, hense the four rather than five star rating. But we were quite satisfied overall :-) From the main course to the Baked Alaska and Pizza station, all was top notch and delicious. The chef even made accomodations for a very special dietary need - going above and beyond to accomodate a family member.. My only caution is to be very clear on arrival time to insure the venue is ready to receive you and your guests…. I highly recommend this venue, and ask for Linda, - she was wonderful, but I do believe the entire staff are extrordinary :-)

At the wedding, however, the food was AMAZING!! I still have people talking about the food. We had ordered the roast pork with cranberry sauce, chicken parm, and seafood fra diavolo. Yum!\r\rThe venue itself is beautiful. When my husband and I walked in we thought we wouldn't be able to afford it, but the prices are very reasonable. We loved that we were able to be married on site over looking the bay. Quidnessett helped to make our wedding day special!

My husband and I had our reception at Quidnessett CC this past July. We could not have asked for a better venue: golf and overlooking the water. We were in the Ballroom and it was absolutely stunning inside. Our guests enjoyed the deck during cocktail hour and throughout the night. The food was amazing!! My husband and I had our reception at Quidnessett for about 225 people, in the Grand Ballroom on 7/11/15. We worked with Lorraine in sales, who has been working there for quite some time. She was wonderfully sweet and incredibly knowledgeable. They treated us like family, and I would most certainly recommend Lorraine to anyone considering Quidnessett.\rOur day of maitre d' was Linda, and she made sure everything went off without a hitch. She truly worked her butt off that night for us, and she is just all around wonderful! Seriously though - request her!\rThe food was wonderful (My guests raved about the Antipasto Table at the cocktail hour. It's so impressive!), and the servers were so great - the Bride and Groom even get your own personal waiter (ours even got us plates of food from our Cocktail Hour while we took photos). It did get quite hot in the room - but we had a lot of guests, and it had been a hot day. But their A/C certainly needs an update, because we were told it was all the way down.\rOverall, they are a wonderful place and they come with a high recommendation in my book.

Seriously though - request her!\rThe food was wonderful (My guests raved about the Antipasto Table at the cocktail hour. It's so impressive!), and the servers were so great - the Bride and Groom even get your own personal waiter (ours even got us plates of food from our Cocktail Hour while we took photos). It did get quite hot in the room - but we had a lot of guests, and it had been a hot day. But their A/C certainly needs an update, because we were told it was all the way down.\rOverall, they are a wonderful place and they come with a high recommendation in my book.

They continually made sure my husband and I had everything we needed throughout the night. Prices are very affordable for such a beautiful place. Would highly recommend.

We had our wedding here in August! The coordinators were wonderful! The food was so good! We only had one complaint about one of the staff members from the father of the bride (he was pretty rude) but everyone else there were amazing! We had an amazing wedding!

Every interaction, engagement and communication with Lorraine and her staff was delightful. I cannot say it enough, she and your team have anticipated and thought of everything. Our process and year ran as smooth as ever and we felt very comfortable with all the information that was given to us in advance and detailed. Lorrained helped us with our hors d'oeuvres, dinner choices, and everything in between. We were so gracious to receive her helpful tips and advice throughout the year and we were delighted to know that all was taken care of. Our day was incredibly magical! Upon arriving at QCC, I never doubted that the reception was in hand. I was greeted by QCC staff and told that they would take care of me all night. We took amazing photos on the premises with views of Narragansett Bay in the background and course flowerbeds or trees around us. \rYour wedding day is a joyous event and based on the amount of planning that goes into it, you should be able to soak up every last second. With the peace of mind that Quidnessett gave me, I was able to do that. I am so happy I chose to go with them for my reception!

we had our wedding ceremony in the garden it was incredibly beautiful! We also have a backup plan in case the weather was bad which is very important because the New England the weather can always be bad! As a bride who is traveling from Massachusetts I wanted to make sure my venue would take care of things and that I didn't have to worry. This venue did exactly that. We had great service, excellent people to work with, and really incredible food! Highly recommend this venue.

My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception here and absolutely loved everything about it! We had our ceremony in the little garden area and it was easy to decorate and made a beautiful yet simple place to start our lives as husband and wife. Then we had some time to take pictures on the Country Club grounds while the guests had time to mingle which resulted in pretty pictures as well as not having to take ALL of the pictures after the reception. The food was awesome! Everything was prepared really well, very tasty and presented in a nice way! Overall we are very happy and would recommend it to anyone!

Gorgeous place to hold a wedding or formal event. Very impressive and I couldn't have been happier with a venue to hold one of the most special days in my life at. Would prefer the overall rating to be a four and a half, but not given that option and just a few things stop me from making it a five. \rThe place is lovely, in a great setting, and nice staff to work with. Cost is not overly expensive compared to other venues and the food is fantastic. \rGreat place for photos all around also.\rMy only negatives is you cannot contact the staff by email which makes it tough when you are on the road; the bridal dressing room had no air conditioning or even a fan in it, was very small, and it was over 100 degrees in there so that was so not good. And no way for the bride to use a ladies room from there either. Because of bad weather the groom had to wait in the lobby so everyone got to hug and kiss him prior to the event as he had no where else to go which is a problem. And as we had to have the ceremony in the room instead of the gazebo which is where it was supposed to be, they make no special accommodations for chair set-up etc. to make that special and for the extra cost for the ceremony, you should get something. Additionally the woman assigned to us that day was new and needed help and got herself into a lot of our wedding shots. Not good. Even in the video tape of the wedding as she stood right in the entrance way where we all came in!\rThere is only one stall in each bathroom for men and women and the only wedding there had a bunch of drunk guests who vomited all over the men's room stall which prevented my guests from being able to use it. They definitely need more of each. And it also prevented us from getting pics in the beautiful hallway as the drunks were fist-fighting in the hall. \rHowever, I would still recommend them to anyone just be prepared to have a hand on everything yourself or have a right hand person to do it for you so it is perfect.\rLove this place though. Just wish it hadn't rained so I would have had better pics but that is not their fault.

If you are looking for a venue where they will take care of everything for you, this is your place. They have been in the buisness for years (my parents got married here 31 years ago). They walk you through everything and are so organized. Food is amazing and the waitstaff caters to your guests needs so professionally... we had many guests with severe allergies, gluten, nuts etch and the waitstaff, coordinators and chefs were all over it! \rThey also have a huge network of trusted vendors that they have worked with time and time again.

Quidnessett's grounds are absolutely breath taking.. perfect for formals !! \rThe food was amazing. Everyone I have talked to LOVED the food.. \rThe ONLY problem I had was that my centerpieces hadnt come yet and one of the coordinators came to my mother and asked where they were instead of picking up the phone and finding out.. And then proceeded to tell my mother she would return after she called and never did.. I had to have my uncle hunt her down and ask. but that is my only complaint :)

Our ceremony and reception were both held at Quidnessett Country Club. If we had to do it all over again we would not change a thing! The service, the food, the view, the staff - it was all amazing! We had a perfect day! Beautiful weather, amazing service, and delicious food! Thank you to Quidnessett for everything that they did for us!

We had our reception at the QCC. It was magnificent. Heather was our sales contact and did a wonderful job. The food at the event was even better than the tasting (filet and chicken diflorencia). Everything was excellently prepared. All of our guests complimented the quality and service.

We did not have a lot of money to spend for our wedding, i think because of this we did not get their full undivided attention. Everything felt very rushed. The food was very good and the planing process went smooth. For budget weddings i would recomend them but if you have a little more to spend take your money else where

Our coordinator was Liane. She was who we met when we booked it (2 years in advance), who we worked with the whole time & who was our day of coordinator. She was on top of everything - no detail too small! She was seriously a dream to work with and I have nothing but amazing praise for her. As far as food goes, everything was absolutely delicious. People were telling us they were so full by the time the pasta came – always a good sign! They even made me a special “bride’s dish” that I LOVED. Everything was set up even better than I had imagined with all of my DIY masterpieces (haha)…I had made the centerpieces, menus, placecards, table numbers, guest book, card box, candy buffet & seeing it all come together so perfectly was such a relief!
