Ramada Inn & Suites Reviews
Katelynn Fischer(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 14-10-2017 We enjoyed our reception and was a beautiful area. Rooms for guest were outdated and not in the nicest shape though Reviewed on 08-11-2017

I chose this venue because of the convenience of connected hotel rooms and it was significantly cheaper than the one other hotel/convention center in town. However, the hotel is quite dated and needs a lot of TLC. Besides that, the reception area is very large and accommodated my guests nicely. The food was great but very expensive, not sure it was worth the price. The tax and gratuity is absurdly high so make sure to ask about that before they give you prices. The general manager is very busy and seemed overwhelmed at times, so plan ahead. Reviewed on 29-01-2016
Jatelyn Meyer(bride)1 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 18-07-2015 I booked our honeymoon suite a year before the wedding. We got to the hotel the night of the wedding and they did not have a room at all for us. Overall, the service was not accommodating at all and i would not recommend this hotel. Reviewed on 05-08-2015

Mandy Scheuren(bride)1 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 17-11-2012 I'm not sure where to begin with this and may run out of characters before I'm done so I'll try and keep it short! \rThese people were NEVER on the same page. One lady told my husband and I we would get the honeymoon suite for FREE. When I talked to the wedding planner (which we did not go thru) she said that she was sorry but we still had to pay, she wasn't sure why the other employee would say that. It's unfortunate they can't provide a room for the bride & groom for ONE night after paying ALL that money!!!! They also kept telling some guests that the rooms were almost booked yet other guests would call and our whole \"block\" was basically still open???\rOnto the food/bartending. I was not impressed with my food (chicken). It was cold and almost rubbery. My husband got one slice of roast beef while his best man dove into 3 slices. I understand they may go by weight (oz) for serving but they wouldn't have even been CLOSE to weighing the same!!! I was pleased that some of my guests said their food was good, at least there were a few good plates out there.\rBartenders- HORRIBLE!!! We were told we would get drink tickets -$3 for beer and $4 for drinks- my mom was charged $4.75 for her first drink. The next time she went back for a drink she gave them a $20 and only got $9.25 back. She got the rest of the change but it also happened to several other guests. The last thing I want my guests to have to do is count their change because the bartenders are shorting them!!! Also, my cousin and sister were waiting in line to get a drink while the 2 bartenders sat on their phones texting! When my sister thought they may be looking up how to make a drink, it was clear when she saw the screen on their phones- all texting!!! \rI have a lot of football fan guests and there were college games on that night. One guest asked the bartender to turn the tv on for the ND game. He first said he didn't know HOW then he said it's never on when he's there, too many people would congregate by the bar and THEN he said the BRIDE didn't want it on!! I was STEAMED when I heard this the next day!!! (After all this, my husband was able to get the bartender to turn the game on) \rIn Mitchell, SD- there aren't many places to hold a reception which is why I went with the Ramada. It was also convenient with the hotel rooms right there as we had many guests traveling. The rooms are OLD/outdated. A few of my guests were kept up by loud neighbors who eventually quieted down.\rI said I'd keep this short, but it got rather lengthy! I just want others to know what I went thru and do NOT recommend this place! Reviewed on 22-12-2012
