Ramsey Golf and Country Club is a wedding venue located in Ramsey, NJ. This venue’s facilities have drawn inspiration from a 16th-century abbey in England while offering fully modern amenities. A magical day awaits you and your guests in the stone-walled gardens situated on the property’s 18-hole golf course. This country club was formed around the property’s historic castle in the early 1900s. The mansion is original to the property’s 220 acres, and features Norman-inspired architecture and English gardens. Over time, the Ramsey Golf and Country Club has grown to over 560 homes which encourages a sense of friendship and togetherness within the community. This venue is truly fit for royalty. The magnificent stone facade is sure to leave a lasting impression on your guests. Private gardens, outdoor stair cases, and natural stone walls extend around the property, providing romantic photo opportunities around every corner. Mirror Lake, along with the estate’s twisting and turning streams, create a sense of peace and serenity for your outdoor ceremony set among towering trees. Prior to inviting guests to the ballroom for the reception, you may want to host your cocktail hour in the lovely Abbey Dining Room with its adjacent outdoor terrace. Once inside the main building, a sweeping staircase and intricate millwork create an intimate and elegant ambience. The Grand Ballroom features a stage, a custom-built bar, and enough seating for up to 200 wedding guests. My husband and I were married at Ramsey Golf and Country Club last weekend (4/12/14) and it was everything I could have dreamed of and more. The grounds of the golf club are magnificent and the venue itself has a special charm. This is the perfect place for an intimate, personalized wedding.\r\rThe service we received here exceeded any expectations I had. Michael and his team are professional, accommodating and attentive. Michael made recommendations on everything from vendors to timing of events which fit within our vision and budgeting needs. Not only was Michael helpful with the planning of the wedding, he made sure my husband and I had everything we needed throughout the night and coordinated with all of our vendors. This allowed for a truly fun and carefree wedding.\r\rOn top of all of this, the food was delicious. At most weddings the food isn't up to par because they are making it in bulk - we did not have this issue. The food was fresh and exactly as I remembered it during our tasting. Michael and his team also made sure various guests with food allergies were taken care of throughout the night.\r\rThis truly is the perfect wedding venue.

Our Wedding on October 6th, 2023, could not have been more magical! It was truly a dream brought to life! Michael, Maggie, Nick and the rest of the team were amazing! From our first meeting with Michael, we knew that we were going to be making the right choice. Between the grounds, food and ambiance, our day was perfection. Our Wedding on October 6th, 2023, could not have been more magical! It was truly a dream brought to life! Michael, Maggie, Nick and the rest of the team were amazing! From our first meeting with Michael, we knew that we were going to be making the right choice. Between the grounds, food and ambiance, our day was perfection. My Hubby and I recently married at Ramsey Golf & Country Club (\"RGCC\") and it was absolutely PERFECT. We began our Fairytale with an Indoor Ceremony which had a gorgeous view, with all the glass windows, overlooking the Golf Course, and a Pergola (provided by RGCC) to stand under as a final touch. The next stop was the Cocktail Hour where an abundance of food was served, from Butler-Passed Hors d' Oeuvres to Stations of delicious food. A Grand Piano was accessible for entertainment which made the music portion unique and elegant. An evening to remember! The reception to follow was where all the magic continued and proceeded till the end of the night. From more delicious food, to excellent service and attentive detail to our every request. Again, from start to finish, everything was perfect - There was nothing that could be said to the contrary. All of this was possible because of Michael and his team. They are FABULOUS. You will not find a better Event Coordinator for your special day. Michael was there with me, via email or phone discussing every detail and answering every question I had. He was attentive beyond I could have imagined. He made suggestions, he offered advice, he handled it all...I couldn't have done it without him. He made accommodations at the last minute and went above and beyond at the last minute when needed. The day of the Wedding, he was still there to guide us but Maggie was like my personal assistant. She carried my wedding dress train,tied the bustle (in 1-2-3), carried my flowers when needed during shoots and ran to find me antacids when I needed. She was the \"cherry on top\" and I'm so grateful she was there. I owe it all to them..thank you Michael and Maggie. The food was absolutely delicious and our guests constantly raved how good it was. As chefs, we were very particular about the importance of that and couldn't have asked for a better menu. Cheers to the Chef!My overall experience with RGCC was so pleasant that I miss not planning this anymore. Michael and Co. really helped out and made it extra special. Aside from the venue being GORGEOUS, the service and care is the main reason for experiencing your Fairytale here, as well. Thank you again RG&CC xoxo

There aren't enough words to describe how amazing everything was at RGCC. My husband and I got married on 09/30/2022 and could not have picked a better venue. Michael, Maggie and the rest of the RGCC team were beyond wonderful! They really are the definition of going above and beyond.The food was AMAZING (I'm still dreaming of our cocktail hour and the tiramisu from the Viennese display), the service and attention to detail is unmatched, and the view during the ceremony with the lake in the background is breathtaking. It's been three weeks and our guests are still talking about how great the Ramsey team was and the amazing time they had at our wedding.

My husband and I got married at Ramsey last week and it was absolutely wonderful. The food, the service, the beautiful grounds were amazing, but the real reason for our wonderful experience was Michael. From our very first conversation, Michael was incredibly helpful. He truly made our day run seamlessly and he’s what we’re going to miss most from our wedding journey. Maggie was also amazing, she made me feel so calm throughout the day and I never had to worry about my dress, food or beverages. We look forward to visiting Ramsey regularly, especially on our anniversary, not just because of the incredible food, but because of the sense of family you immediately feel when you enter the doors.

When I say it was the most perfect, beautiful and fun day of our lives- I truly mean it. I told everyone that I would get married in a shack as long as Michael and his staff were planning it !!! We felt supported, understood and like we were all family. Our guests are still talking about our wedding- saying it was the best they’ve ever been to. The food was an out of this world experience- every morsel of food was better than the last and truly prepared with so much love !! Michael, Maggie and Dennis were born to do what they do- they managed and organized our wedding in a way that my husband and I only had to focus on our evening, it was more than I could have ever dreamed of. The venue was immaculate, pristine and beautiful- we were so happy and proud to host our guests there. I wish I could rate this experience more than 5 stars because it really was a once in a lifetimeExperience ! From the moment we toured we knew we wanted to work with Michael and he made our whole planning experience wonderful- he is knowledgeable, helpful and understanding ! He is a true rockstar. Throughout the night, guests came up to me to tell me how wonderful the food was and how beautiful everything was and I couldn’t agree more. We knew as soon as we met Michael that if we booked this venue we would be taken care of every step of the way and he did not disappoint. On the actual day Michael, Maggie, and Dennis were an amazing team that constantly checked on us and made sure we were happy and had everything we needed. had the most amazing wedding 10/10 all thanks to michael and the other employees. Michael was right there with along through all the wedding planning and on the day of he was at times ot seemed he was everywhere when you even thought of looking for him. Dennis was awesome too and even stood on the rain holding the umbrella over me so we could get some outside shots. The food was amazing and i have guest still raving about how full they were but kept eating more. I would highly recommend if you have a type a personality like me and is all about timing and feeling like the day is really about you and your fiance.

Michael, Maggie, Dennis, Louis and the whole team were a pleasure to work with. From our first visit with Michael, all our communications to reschedule with the pandemic and working with him the day of were perfect. Although we looked at other venues, Micheal made us feel like part of the country club family from the first meeting. Michael responded quickly to communication, was so helpful with suggestions, calm the day of and kept the day moving seamlessly. Our guests were so complimentary of the delicious food and beautiful grounds. The menu was exactly what we tasted and picked. Michael and Maggie were with us the whole time and really made it a special day. The Sweetheart table was never empty. Michael and his team were very attentive, quick and easy to get ahold of, they were accommodating with schedules and keeping our vision. The entire day was ours.We would recommend Ramsey country club to anyone looking to have a wedding.

They were so flexible when we had to postpone our wedding due to COVID and Michael was wonderful to work with throughout the entire planning process. He went above and beyond to address our COVID safety concerns and make our guests feel comfortable. Our day went perfectly because of Michael and Maggie! We felt like we truly got to enjoy our day because they took such good care of us, like by checking in as we got ready and bringing us food during the reception. Ramsey Golf and Country Club is a beautiful venue but the people make it the best location for your wedding. The maitre d Michael is charismatic, kind, and attentive. He answered my endless emails quickly and was always a huge help. On the day of our wedding, Michael and his assistant Maggie were amazing. They set up all of our decor exactly as I wanted, brought us hors d’oeuvres to a private room to make sure we got some time alone, and organized a magical sparkler send off. when we asked if my bridesmaid could pick up our decor the next morning, he offered to even pack it into her car! The venue is so unique and is beautiful both outside and inside. My favorite part is the glass atrium ballroom and I loved the addition of a tent outside for cocktail hour (there are two other rooms guest can go in as well). They are very affordable, too. We did the cocktail style reception package which included food stations, cocktail hour passed appetizers, an open bar, and huge Venetian dessert table. Ramsey Golf and Country Club is a beautiful venue but the people make it the best location for your wedding. The maitre d Michael is charismatic, kind, and attentive. He answered my endless emails quickly and was always a huge help. On the day of our wedding, Michael and his assistant Maggie were amazing. They set up all of our decor exactly as I wanted, brought us hors d’oeuvres to a private room to make sure we got some time alone, and organized a magical sparkler send off. when we asked if my bridesmaid could pick up our decor the next morning, he offered to even pack it into her car! The venue is so unique and is beautiful both outside and inside. My favorite part is the glass atrium ballroom and I loved the addition of a tent outside for cocktail hour (there are two other rooms guest can go in as well). They are very affordable, too. We did the cocktail style reception package which included food stations, cocktail hour passed appetizers, an open bar, and huge Venetian dessert table. We are writing this review literally ONE day after our wedding because we can't stop talking about how amazing it was, and how glad we are to have picked Ramsey Golf & Country Club as our venue. The grounds are gorgeous, the food is INCREDIBLE, and the indoor reception space has an amazing greenhouse-like vibe that we hadn't seen anywhere else. But what truly sold us here was the team. From the minute we met Michael for the onsite tour, we knew that this was our spot- Michael is kind, helpful, organized, and replies to emails at lightning speed- he answered any question that we had throughout the year and a half of planning the wedding, ensuring that we never had a doubt that the day would be amazing- and we were right! Maggie, Michael's assistant, was absolutely fantastic during the wedding day- she helped me with everything from carrying my train and fixing my dress to bringing warm tea so I could warm up before the outdoor ceremony. The staff and venue truly went above and beyond in more ways than we can name- our wedding was on a cold day, and the team provided hot apple cider for our guests and space heaters for our bridal party to keep warm so that we could have our ceremony outside. These little extra touches are woven in all throughout Ramsey's wedding planning style, and it creates a truly unique and special atmosphere. Our guests were all raving about the venue and the food, and we couldn't be happier to have picked this venue and team to be a part of the best day of our lives. From big things like people in the family trying to make last minute changes we didn't talk about to small things like me jokingly saying I needed a tissue and Dennis magically appearing with one. They both took care of EVERYTHING. They are both there for you for anything throughout your day. Even leading up to the big day, Michael responds to any email or phone call in a timely manner. There is not one negative thing I can say about the Ramsey Golf and Country Club and their staff other than the fact that I’m sad that the wedding is over and they won’t be my team anymore! From the venue tour to the night of, Mike and his team were attentive and amazing. My guests couldn’t stop raving about how great everyone was. Beyond the staff, the food was to die for and the drinks were plentiful. There was never a wait for food or at the bar and the staff made sure everything ran smoothly from beginning to end. If there were any major issues, I was not aware of them! You get beyond value for the cost of the venue and I would choose them over and over again! I could write a novel about how wonderful this place and the coordinator were to my husband and I. To start with, the venue's beauty keeps unfolding as you spend more time there. We live in Jersey City, so we're not familiar with the area. Each time we visited we'd eat lunch and take a stroll and it was just stunning to see the pockets of gardens and the lakes. When we first met Michael it almost felt silly going on other venue tours. We knew if the club held up all their amazing parts of the contract we'd be so happy. Michael, the coordinator, has been doing this for so many years and is an expert at this point. He thinks of everything and is available multiple times a week to answer any little question or extend himself and the club to make our wedding perfect. I am a big planner, picky, organized and exhaustive with questions. Michael met me completely where I'm at and made me feel seen and cared for.Some examples of why Ramsey is the best place for your wedding:-You don't have to pay for guests who are no shows (it will happen!) and they will save you money.-They don't nickel and dime you for your dreams to come true (we had a sparkler exit, and at one point were dreaming up an ice cream sundae bar for dessert, there was always a way to coordinate our contract and plan to make things happen)-They provide an all inclusive wedding. The ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, open bar, and a dessert (not a wedding cake) are all included in the price. The champagne toast, the cake cutting, high fives after your ceremony. And the price is AFFORDABLE compared to other venues.-They take care of you through the duration of your planning and especially the day of. The moment my bridal party arrived at the venue all of our needs were anticipated. It was beyond a package, it was considerate and touching.-They are culturally inclusive. My husband and I are an interracial couple. I'm Italian, he's Haitian. They worked with a local Haitian bakery to arrange one of the cocktail stations and we had another one with Italian food. They also went out of their way to get special Rhum for our bar. Throughout the whole night we felt celebrated.-The whole staff and team are so friendly and work so hard. His assistant Maggie took care of me and my girls all day and the regard with which the team holds each other and the respect they show is notable. You can feel that they love love and seeing people get married.-The food is delicious. The filets are actually cooked to order. The pasta is al dente. Sometimes wedding food gets a bad rap, but this place is a class act.-They let you pick up your wedding items the next day, they pack it up for you, they don't run you out at end time. They treat you like the starry eyed newlyweds you are. This is very considerate.-Michael helped us format the schedule of the night so that people were dancing and engaged the whole time.-At the end of the night and the next day everyone told us that this was the best wedding they've ever been to. I think that speaks for itself.Ultimately, book this venue. I cannot recommend it more.

Throughout the planning process, Michael, the venue’s Wedding Coordinator couldn’t have made the process easier or less stressful. Michael was attentive to us throughout the reception and was very personable with our guests. We also had one of Michaels’ assistants, Maggie, who helped me with anything that I needed.Service and the staff were outstanding and the food was delicious. A month later, guests still rave about the amount and quality of the food! One thing we also LOVED about Ramsey was that we had a private room to enjoy some of the hors d'oeuvres from cocktail hour before joining our guests half way through. You will not be disappointed at RG & CC. The venue itself is awesome - it rained during our ceremony, so we had to do it inside, and we were just as excited about doing it inside as would’ve been about doing it outside. (The grounds are awesome, too! IMHO, the photos do not do it justice.) The food is fantastic, and there’s a lot of it! I got so many compliments about the cocktail hour, which upheld the highest standards of NJ cocktail hours. And then, there’s Michael. From before the wedding, to during and after the wedding, Michael has everything under control - so you, especially if you’re anxious like me, can relax. Before the wedding, he’ll patiently explain how everything will happen, reply to email faster than the speed of light, and handle vendor requests. During the wedding, he’s there from the time you arrive (like making sure you have lunch and mimosas when you’re getting ready), helping run the rehearsal, to making sure you and your new husband or wife eat during cocktail hour and helping your bridesmaids find their missing cellphones. I literally did not have to worry about anything for the whole day, and it all came out better than I imagined. I cannot say enough positive things about our wedding - it was such a wonderful experience from start to finish! Looking for venues to begin with can be very stressful-especially when you're on a budget-but Michael made us feel comfortable from our very first meeting. He was more flexible and accommodating than I could have imagined, which made the Ramsey Country Club our first and only choice. Every step of the way he helped us to coordinate and plan, and on the day, we didn't have to worry about a thing! Michael and his assistant, Maggie, were an absolute dream. We had zero stress from the minute we stepped off our party bus. Another bonus was that our florist, bakery, photographer and DJ all knew Michael and were thrilled to be working with him again - that's a huge help for any bride. Most importantly, it was absolutely gorgeous! From the cocktail hour, to the ballroom, to the grounds themselves - I know every picture is going to be beautiful. Our guests had nothing but compliments about the food-and there was plenty of it! We did food stations instead of a formal sit-down dinner, and that was such a great option to have since our guests could eat and party all night. They made accommodations for those with any food allergies and took care of all of those details in advance. We are so happy we chose the Ramsey Country Club as our venue and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, romantic, and fun place to have a wedding. We are so grateful to Michael and Maggie - you made our wedding day unforgettable!

My husband and I got married at Ramsey Golf & Country Club last September and my only regret is that I didn't write them a glowing review sooner. Michael and his staff are wonderful. We got married on a week that was unseasonably hot until the day of our wedding when the temperatures dropped and the wind picked up. We were set on getting married outside and while we took photos Michael has his staff put out hot cider to keep our guests warm before the ceremony began. He personally checked on us throughout the night to make sure we didn't need anything. They had expanded their patios for the ceremony and cocktail hour just before our wedding and the areas looked beautiful. The food was also amazing. My family is still raving about how wonderful our wedding was nearly a year later. I recommend Ramsey Golf & Country Club to everyone. I couldn't have asked for a better venue!

We were having trouble finding a venue that fit us and that we loved. Upon seeing the grounds and meeting Michael, Director of Catering, we knew this was the place for us. He make everything flow so easily and he and his staff really go above and beyond for you. The indoor and outdoor spaces are beautiful and the building has great character and charm. Our other vendors only had great things to say about it as well, which I feel really gives you a real perspective about a venue. Our family is VERY hard to please and they also could not say enough great things about it and cannot wait to have an excuse go back. Neither can we!

The venue itself is lovely and if it rains as it did on my wedding day you still have a beautiful setting. The food is fabulous and plentiful. My guests are still talking about the food days later. The RG&CC was the first venue I visited while planning my wedding. After meeting Michael and touring the grounds I knew I didn't have to look anywhere else. First of all the venue is beautiful. It is definitely not your typical gaudy New Jersey venue. It is soft and romantic, straight out of a fairy tail! However what really sold us on this venue was the director of catering, Michael. From the moment we met with him he was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was not pushy, but extremely open and informative, which I loved because you can tell this was not a business to him. He makes it a priority to make you feel like you're the only bride that matters, not just another number. I love that there is only event held at a time here because you know all of the staff is focused on yourself and your guests. The day of our wedding everything went extremely smooth. We were checked on constantly by Michael and his assistant Maggie. I was kept in the loop about everything that was going on with all of my vendors, I felt very comfortable knowing everything was going according to plan. The ceremony, cocktail hour & reception were all perfect. I could not have asked for a better day! My guests are still talking about the delicious food, the beautiful grounds, and the impecable service. Thank you so much to the RC&CC for making our dreams come true!

I had my wedding ceremony and reception at RGCC on 01/14/18. This was the most amazing wedding venue! Working with Michael was so easy and seamless from our very first tour. The space is totally unique and offers so many beautiful photo opportunities. The food tasting was so much fun, and every single thing we tasted was delicious. The night of the wedding was absolutely perfect. Michael and his team made sure that everything was set up exactly how I imagined, and all of the special events we had planned worked out flawlessly. The country club was truly the best place to make so many lasting memories with loved ones.

My husband and I love Ramsey Country Club. We had our wedding there on Oct 28, 2017.Michael and his team are amazing!! We looked at tons of venues in the New York, New Jersey, CT area but as soon as we saw the Ramsey Country Club we knew we wanted to have our wedding there. IT IS BEAUTIFUL. And they only do one wedding a night. After meeting with Michael and getting a tour we signed the contract immediately. Michael is super accommodating and knowledgeable. He knows the wedding business and is super helpful. He had so many great recommendations. In addition, he was very honest in terms of cost and everything was transparent and fair. We did not feel like we were walking in to a used car lot (we felt this way about several other venues and it was a complete turn off). We felt comfortable and at ease throughout the process at Ramsey Golf and Country club.Before the day of the wedding we had a TON of communication with Michael. I had so many questions and concerns and Michael was super responsive to each of them.The day of, Michael and his staff was calm, organized and ready to do anything we needed! The food was amazing!! And the place looked absolutely gorgeous. We had our ceremony outside and the grass was very green and the landscaping was perfect.Michael and his staff was super on top of their game! They set up the reception room just the way I wanted and it was exactly the way I envisioned. His assistant, I am forgetting her name, was amazing. She was super helpful during the big day. And she was there for everything and anything my husband and I needed.I have only the most positive things to say about Ramsey Golf and Country Club! Thank you for the wedding of my dreams.

The most amazing venue! The ballroom at night, with the atrium affects, makes it feel like you are under the stars. It is so gorgeous. I may be biased, but it was the best wedding that I've ever been too! And everyone who came, said it was the best, most enjoyable wedding as well!I accidentally booked a tour at RCc, and it was the best decision I ever made. Michael was not pushy, extremely informative, and made us feel extremely welcomed. It was the first wedding venue we looked at, and I knew it was the place for us the minute we left . We looked at a ton of places and nowhere compared. RCC was all-around different and Michael was the selling point. Michael was an amazing maître d' throughout the entire process and especially during the meeting. He made our wedding process easy to plan and stress-free. He always answered my emails or my mother's emails, and never seem to get sick of us. And the event itself was incredible, food was amazing, and wait staff was awesome. On the day of the wedding he made the day go incredibly smooth. They let us in early and we had our run of the place for pictures. The golf course, gardens, the castle, everything turned out amazing. I had gotten a wedding planner, and she was not at all necessary because Michael was all I needed. Our reception turned out exactly as I pictured and Michael made sure we had everything we needed the entire night. RCC was the best choice we made for our wedding and we are so happy everyone enjoyed our wedding as much as we did. We are so grateful for Michael for making our perfect wedding come true. Sorry for the late review Michael, it has no bearing on how we felt about our wedding, it truly was an amazing night!

We had our daughters wedding here this weekend and one word comes to mind to describe our experience- WOW...I do not usually review places but this venue was superior to many we have used as well as have attended.Let's start with Michael who from the moment we we met made us feel at ease with him calm and professional manner.Imagine when dealing with whoever you have in the past and as you have request or wants his usual answer is \"I can do that\".We went to many other venues and most always had a different answer when asked for certain things which was definitely not I can but was that's extra.Ramsey did not do that. My daughter and her husband(sounds strange saying that) are really into food, so to gave their expectations truly excesses was easy for Michael and the Ramsey Golf and Country Club. The whole affair went perfect and from the Veri Mont through the reception went just as they promised us it would. Michael had Maggie assist the night through and again her class and poise as well as attentiveness was perfect.The setting , the space, and ease of location was excellent. The best part for me was this - imagine a venue that does not charge you for any last minute people who do not show up- Now imagine a groomsman who got drunk before the wedding who I sent home and we did not even get charged for him. We have been to many affairs as well as made a half dozen, nothing compared . After you go and talk to a few you will want to run to this one. Thank you again to Michael, Maggie, and their entire staff.You have made this special day amazing for all of us. Thank you, thank you, thank you.Additional thank you to Dennis who Michael provided to make sure our elderly guest got around to the ceremony , cocktail hour , and reception, without using any stairs.

We could not have chosen a better venue for our July 28, 2017 wedding! After researching several venues, we never felt that anything was \"us\" until we went to Ramsey. We live very close by, and could not believe that this beautiful venue was right around the corner from us, it is truly a remarkable venue. Once we stepped out of the car we immediately felt right at home. Michael, our Maitre' D, was absolutely amazing from the day we met with him for our consultation, throughout our wedding process. He is truly a genuine person and we felt so comfortable with him. He made us feel that we were the only bride and groom every time we met with him, even though he had so many other couples to answer to. He was very easy to talk to, and answered all of our many questions promptly and thoroughly, especially by e-mail and phone if we needed. We honestly could not say enough positive things about him, he is honestly one of the reasons we booked this venue because we knew we would be in good hands the moment we met him. Additionally, Maggie, his assistant, was incredibly attentive to me, the bride, throughout the entire wedding. She is also a truly genuine person who is such an asset to this venue! She was always there when I needed her for anything, and made me feel so incredibly comfortable throughout the entire wedding day. On our wedding day, we were extremely fortunate with the weather, which Michael made sure we did not stress about, as there is always a backup plan with the beautiful atrium with large windows that still shows the beautiful gardens and golf course. Thankfully, we did not have to use this backup option, but prior to booking this venue, we really liked this as a backup option in case we could not have our wedding outside, as this was imperative to us. Ramsey's outdoor setting is gorgeous and is truly effortless beauty, the stone building, staircase, and beautiful grounds made our pictures look natural and were so easy for the photographer to get some incredible photo opportunities. Ramsey worked very well with our all of vendors as well, which made our wedding day run so smoothly. We knew we were in good hands for the entire wedding day. Our ceremony space was beautiful as we mentioned that the grounds are naturally pretty, and our guests absolutely loved the brand-new, updated patio and patio furniture for cocktail hour. Also, the various cocktail hour spaces inside were also very much appreciated by our guests, and there were plenty of seats or table space for them, which our elderly relatives especially appreciated. The food during cocktail hour was INCREDIBLE and there was plenty of it for our guests to continue to enjoy, as well as the amazing food during our reception. We are still getting compliments about the food, the gorgeous indoor and outdoor decor, and even the overall flow of the wedding reception. We could go on and on about how amazing Ramsey is, and we could not have made a better choice for our wedding venue. We can't wait to go back for dinner just to take in its beauty and reminisce about how perfect our wedding day was, as well as our entire wedding planning process. We could not have chosen a better venue for our July 28, 2017 wedding! After researching several venues, we never felt that anything was \"us\" until we went to Ramsey. We live very close by, and could not believe that this beautiful venue was right around the corner from us, it is truly a remarkable venue. Once we stepped out of the car we immediately felt right at home. Michael, our Maitre' D, was absolutely amazing from the day we met with him for our consultation, throughout our wedding process. He is truly a genuine person and we felt so comfortable with him. He made us feel that we were the only bride and groom every time we met with him, even though he had so many other couples to answer to. He was very easy to talk to, and answered all of our many questions promptly and thoroughly, especially by e-mail and phone if we needed. We honestly could not say enough positive things about him, he is honestly one of the reasons we booked this venue because we knew we would be in good hands the moment we met him. Additionally, Maggie, his assistant, was incredibly attentive to me, the bride, throughout the entire wedding. She is also a truly genuine person who is such an asset to this venue! She was always there when I needed her for anything, and made me feel so incredibly comfortable throughout the entire wedding day. On our wedding day, we were extremely fortunate with the weather, which Michael made sure we did not stress about, as there is always a backup plan with the beautiful atrium with large windows that still shows the beautiful gardens and golf course. Thankfully, we did not have to use this backup option, but prior to booking this venue, we really liked this as a backup option in case we could not have our wedding outside, as this was imperative to us. Ramsey Golf and Country Club. Where do I start? Both my bride Rosa and myself will be forever indetted to you and your staff for not just a wedding but a day we both will NEVER forget. Pulling up to you perfectly manicured grounds last fall we knew immediately your venue was the place we wanted to become united as husband and wife. Then we met your head host and manager of the facility Mr. Michael Tribel it was etched in stone and we just had to get married there. From the very first mili second we met him, Mike did nothing but speak from the heart and welcomed us with such enthusiasm and professionalism. He gave us a detailed tour of the facility while not over selling anything nor was he being a pushy salesmen and go right into prices. He was a perfect gentleman to both of us and very personable. I even joked that I'd marry him myself because his attention to detail and personality were flawless . And although it's a cardinal rule to visit other venues we booked on the spot with Mike even after Ramsey Country Club was the only place we looked at. Through out the year we had a couple of fun meetings with Mike and I joked once again that I didn't mind parting with money to book there because he made the meetings so fun. We even booked a rehearsal BRUNCH there because the place was so beautiful we couldn't wait wait to show our guests. The day of our wedding was a dream come true. Miss Maggie Johnson and Mr Dennis Kaminsky both whom are at the top of mikes staff went into complete overdrive that day to go above and beyond our wildest expectations . Not only did they ensure us things would be perfect, they delivered ten fold. Now the food....amazing .amazing. Amazing. From the cocktail hour to the ice cream bar Mike had made special for us. Food was out in perfect harmony and was just the right temperature. Zero complaints. There is so much more to say but I almost don't want to ruin it for anybody who decides this is the place for them. Mike,Dennis and Maggie were also on top of their game when it came time to work with our other vendors too, which eliminated a ton of stress off my new bride. BONUS for any groom lol. So from the scenery to the staff to the food and everything else that makes a venue perfect, Ramsey country club was and is a place where we will have our first fondest memory as a new husband and wife. What a dream come true with this hidden gem! My husband and I got married this past July and when we first came to Ramsey Golf and Country Club last year, we absolutely loved the venue (especially the ceremony space). What sold us was Michael. My husband and I planned our whole wedding from overseas so it was super important that we were able to communicate easily with our Maitre D. We soon decided to get married at the RGCC after looking at three other venues because we kept thinking about how nice Michael and how it would be nice to work with him. He was super flexible, patient, friendly with our guests, and most importantly on the day of he was the bomb with me and my husband. He knew what he was doing and he helped run the show perfectly. His assistants were so nice and spent time with me before the ceremony to keep me smiling. Michael and his staff were also excellent at helping us decorate the cocktail hour and working with our vendors on the day of. Not only did we have the perfect staff from RGCC for our 140 guests, but the food was great. Guests raved about the cocktail hour food and the main entrees. My husband is English so we wanted to cater to the English guests with a fish dish and a big chunk of my guests were vegetarian so we had to request something specific for them. Michael worked with the chefs to come up with loads of options for our family and friends. Michael was flexible with costs due to the menu changes we made and we paid more for two extra stations during cocktail hour. We probably didn't need all that food but we wanted to make sure our guests had more than enough options. RGCC honestly has amazing grounds to take wedding photos, great service from staff, good food, reasonably priced, and great location. I couldn't ask for a better venue!

RG&CC is the best. Plain and simple. I already knew that though because I’m lucky enough to work here as well. Needless to say, my standards are pretty high for any event, let alone my own wedding. When it came time to plan, my fiancé and I toured a few venues. Mainly for the fun of it, because that’s what engaged couples do, but the Club was always in the back of my mind. Although I worried whether it would feel like “work,” the decision was pretty simple. Michael is great, the food is delicious and the grounds are beautiful- what’s not to love? Thanks to a combination of the Club’s elegant rustic charm, Michael’s flexibility and perhaps maybe Pinterest :), we were able to plan our dream wedding and the best part was, I could sit back and enjoy every moment of the big day without having to worry. In fact, nearly a month later, we are still receiving compliments on not only the grounds and an over abundance of delicious food, but the friendly staff and excellent service as well. I honestly couldn’t imagine having our wedding any place else and we have RG&CC to thank for that!

From the moment we stepped into the Ramsey, we not only fell in love with the place & scenery, but Michael Treible as well. The grounds are magnificent, truly a charming venue, with a rustic feel, beautiful ceremony area overlooking the lake, the reception room with a gorgeous atrium style ceiling. We had brought our parents for dinner there to test out the food and everything was delicious from the wine to the meal to the dessert, they were impressed (PS we are Italian & we are picky & specific.) We had 14 months from booking to our wedding date on 10/15/16. Over that time period Michael was SO responsive, helped me make other decisions, gave his professional experienced guidance, and assisted ANY silly request or question I had. Over the course of the year we visited the Ramsey for a few meetings and dinners, and always truly enjoyed our experience, our dinner and our interactions with Michael and all of the staff. Leading up to the big day I was not a calm bride (AT ALL) but I had not one worry about the venue with everything in Michaels & his staff’s hands. In the end my parents ended up loving Michael and the Ramsey just as much as we did, he really made sure we were ALL happy. From the moment I stepped on the grounds at Ramsey on my wedding day, I was treated like a queen (thank you Maggie ). We were lucky enough to have our ceremony outside in October and it was everything I ever dreamed of and PICTURE PERFECT. Michael coordinated everything from the timeline of the day, the photos, the bridal party, reception, cocktail hour everything was so seamless. From there- during the cocktail hour, I have a gluten allergy, and Michael had already set up all my requests gluten free for my husband and I in the bridal suite, we went up to cocktail hour and everything was set the way we requested, people were raving about the food. From there the reception, the timing, the lighting, the service, the food, to the cake cutting, to the very last dance was PERECTION I do not have one complaint. He even made the end of the night seamless with his staff packing up all our things and handling the final bill. The entire night guests and even vendors were complimenting me on the venue & the food and saying it was the best wedding ever!!The Ramsey Golf & country Club along with Michael and his staff, brought all our visions into a reality, made all of our requests possible, it was a dream day, along with a very personalized experience, I wish we can relive it again. Look no further if you are looking for not your average venue in NJ – its intimate, classic, beautiful and top notch when it comes to food, service, quality and class. Besides saying yes to marrying the love of my life, the Ramsey was one of the best decisions I made! Thank you RG&CC we will be back to visit and we will remember the beauty and excellence of this fantastic day for the rest of our lives. From the time our daughter got engaged and we started to do research and look for venues, I knew what type of place she (and I) wanted.Then one day I was driving by the Ramsey Golf and Country Club and decided to go and check it out and loved it from the minute I saw it. I was walking around on my own, when the Director of Catering/Events , Mr. Michael Treible, came out and offered to show me around their beautiful surroundings. Michael's relaxed and easy-going but professional manner instantly convinced me that this was going to be the venue for my daughter's wedding and he was the right person for the job. Michael is extremely knowledgeable, gracious, accommodating and approachable. When the whole family met Michael, they felt the same way. He explained all the pricing to us and we found it to be very reasonable. Throughout all the months preceding the wedding, Michael gave us priceless information, calmed our anxieties, shared advice and tips and took care of all arrangements seamlessly. On the day of the wedding, Michael and his team invisibly took care of all details without any glitches. Since the weather was unsettled that day, they even set up the chairs for the ceremony in both places-outside and inside-- just in case, -- something that I found extremely considerate, as I had been agonizing about the weather for weeks.Everything was absolutely perfect--the cocktail hour food was bountiful and delicious, the sit-down dinner was perfectly served, the organization of all the vendors, the music, the cake, the flow of the ceremony and reception--it was flawless. I really cannot find enough words for my gratitude to Michael and the entire Ramsey Golf and Country Club team, who made our daughter's wedding a spectacular event.

The Ramsey Golf and Country Club made my wedding the best it possibly could have been! From the grounds, to the ballroom, to the food everything was AMAZING! Especially Michael. He made planning my wedding as easy as possible. From the moment I arrived I was pampered and so well taken care of by him and his staff. All my guests are still talking about my wedding and how wonderful everything was! I HIGHLY recommend having your wedding here!

What a Perfect Day and an Amazing Venue!! We had our wedding this past July 25, 2015. We definitely made the right choice with RGCC. We worked with Michael T. Michael was AWESOME to work with from the beginning to the end and he is very straight forward. Michael and his staff did an Excellent Job taking care of us especially making sure we (Bride & Groom) ate during our cocktail party on our Wedding day. The food was delicious and our guests loved it! We also took a lot of gorgeous/amazing pictures especially the outside. Thank you again!! We highly recommend this venue and you will not regret it.

My husband and I held our wedding ceremony and reception at the Ramsey Golf and Country Club in the beginning of November. Even though we only had 60 guests max, we felt we received the same amount of attention as a 200 guest wedding. Our maître d', Michael Treible was so easy to work with. Michael is extremely organized, quick to respond and always very reassuring that the day would go well. \r\rWhat truly stood out to us was that we were given the entire place all day. No weddings were before or after ours so nothing felt rushed. We were able to choose our own times for the ceremony and reception. My husband and I loved getting to experience the beautiful fall scenery for the ceremony during the day and still had the opportunity to see the place lit up at night. \r\rHaving good food was a must for us. Our guests raved about everything. They especially enjoyed the lamb chops, penne vodka, filet mignon and the cheesecake.\r\rRamsey Golf and Country Club way exceeded our expectations! Our wedding was everything we wanted and more, thanks to Michael and his staff. There's nothing we wished we would have done differently.

If I could give infinity stars I would!! This goes for the venue coordinator: Michael & team (we had the pleasure of working w/ Jackie), grounds & food! We were lucky to find the Trifecta! I say “lucky” bc we had an unfortunate experience with a previously contracted venue… 4 months before our wedding day. With 4 months to go, Save the Dates sent, hotel rooms blocked, rehearsal dinner planned the unfortunate experience had me VERY upset &skeptical about ANY wedding vendor. I found this venue while searching on the Knot and fell instantly head over heels…with the pictures (& even more in love in person)…& it got better & better from there! I contacted Michael & miraculously our wedding date that we had been planning to for 16 months was THE LAST Saturday in the Summer he had available (talk about MEANT TO BE!) We made an appointment with Michael (who was so thankfully accommodating to our schedules & met us later in the evening) & we clicked right away with him. My skepticism vanished & not only did I want to get married here but I wanted to do so with Michael running the show!! Having explained our previous experience to Michael, he really went out of his way to set our minds at ease & went above & beyond as far as making sure that we had the MOST incredible Wedding Day that not even I could have imagined! Everyone will ask after the wedding if everything went well… I can honestly & happily say YES – IF there were problems… they were handled without my knowledge. Enough about Michael – though I could go on & on...The grounds: The ceremony area is breathtaking & comfortably fit our 150 guests – near by the lake amongst beautiful tall trees, & at sunset the sun illuminated us as we took our vows which was heaven-sent for sure. Everyone I spoke to that day raved about how GORGEOUS the place is. The golf course was available to snap unbelievable pictures amongst the lush green lawns. The cocktail/reception areas are equally as beautiful, especially the atrium area downstairs which almost makes you feel as though you’re sitting under the stars as the night progresses. These also comfortably fit our guests (dance floor & all!) Additional bonuses offered here: There is a bar that guests could hang out at if they arrived early which was nice since we had two rounds of buses at different times; there is a bridal suite that was available for me & my bridesmaids to get ready & take pictures in as well as for the ring bearer to take a nap later in the evening ;) The choices that the venue offers for cocktail hour were remarkable (from a variety perspective as well as taste) & were plentiful! I have received only great comments about the reception food (we ourselves didn’t get to eat that much - our own mistake, but what we did nibble on was delicious!) Everyone seemed quite impressed with the food – the filet was cooked as ordered – not over/under cooked… the sole stuffed with crab was a HUGE hit & even the grilled chicken breast (which is extremely hard to not dry out) I’ve heard was delish! The alcohol selection that the venue offers as their standard has great choices & the ability to upgrade a bottle for no charge was much appreciated as my husband is a scotch aficionado. The desserts seemed to never end (in a good way!) aside from our wedding cake, the venue served a decadent chocolate cake & had chocolate covered strawberries served on EVERY TABLE!!!\rWhen searching for Wedding Venues... This is the place and Michael is your MAN!!\r

I cannot suggest this venue enough to bride-to-be's or for any event planner! The entire building is absolutely beautiful and even though we got married during hurricane weather and had to have the ceremony indoors, it was phenomenal and beautiful. The staff were all so helpful and accommodating. And every one of our guests were saying how gorgeous our wedding was and how the food was better than any they've had at any other wedding, and Brian and I would have to agree. I would definitely take a look at this venue and consider it for your wedding/party, not only was the staff helpful and organized but they also executed our day exactly how we wanted it! It's been almost a month since our wedding, and I can't forget how magical it was. A big part of that was thanks to Michael.\r\rFrom the very start of our planning, any ideas I tossed around to Michael, the answer always was, \"We will find a way to do it.\" And he always did! If I sent him an email, he would get back to me within the hour. I never had to worry about whether or not Michael was getting my notes, if our discussions were clear.\r\rOn the day of the wedding, Michael was great in making sure my husband and I had the opportunity to check out the entire venue before the guests arrived. I thought it was extremely classy of him to make sure we were enjoying it all to the fullest.\r\rWhen I first toured the venue, I remembered the rose bushes outside of the atrium and the christmas lights on them. Thought it was magical. They had some changes to the golf courses and they were no longer there. We made a comment that it was a shame - by the wedding day, they had replanted rose bushes and put christmas lights back on it. A completely amazing thing to do. While I felt guilty, I definitely was very excited they had done that. Not something they had to do, but it helped make my day special.\r\rI had countless people come up to me and tell me that my wedding was one of the most beautiful and amazing weddings they had ever been to -- I'm going to assume everyone doesn't say that. Most of that had to do with the venue. The food was amazing, the service was great, and the space was beautiful. \r\rAs someone living in the city and coming out into the suburbs for my wedding, I wouldn't change that decision for a second. A big thank you to Michael and the Ramsey G&CC for making my big day so special!

My wife and I had our wedding reception at Ramsey Golf and Country Club this past July. We felt incredibly lucky to have found this place - it was truly exceptional. To quote my (now) mother-in-law, everything about the experience was \"top-drawer\"!\r\rRamsey CC is a beautiful venue. It has breathtaking outdoor space and sits between a pair of lakes - great spot for either an outdoor ceremony (we had opted for a traditional church wedding), or photographs. The building itself is really cool and unique - it looks a bit like a castle and has great interior rooms with stone walls and columns as well as a beautiful, expansive glass enclosed section as part of the main hall. As soon as we saw the place we knew it was right for us - distinct, beautiful and elegant - it really set itself apart from a lot of the venues in NY & NJ that can sometimes seem a bit more cookie-cutter.\r\rWe worked with Michael Treible throughout the whole process and absolutely could not say enough great things about him or his staff. He's the perfect combination of professional and easy-going. He really went above and beyond to ensure that everything worked out pefectly - no small detail was overlooked. Michael and his team were responsive, friendly and accomodating. Michael guided us through the entire experience, helping us plot out the day and coordinating with vendors - he was absolutely invaluable. He even set up a round of golf for us, though I must caution, the fairways here can be a bit narrrow =).\r\rWe would recommend this place without hesitation. Great venue, great staff!

Don't look any further for a place to have your wedding! This venue is absolutely amazing. The building is a historic castle made of field stones which combines a rustic castle appearance in addition to the newer atrium in the lower level. The food was incredibly abundant and delicious. The wedding planner team offered by this venue (at no charge!), coupled with the attentive waitstaff, made for a flawless event.\r\rWorking with Michael Treible and his staff (Jackie and Meghan) contributed to overall positive experience. They offered their expertise to every facet of this event. My daughter had an outside ceremony and the grounds were a beautiful backdrop. The reception in the castle area, including an outside seating area, was a great way to have our friends and family mix.\r\rThe venue offered us a full dinner sampling for the food tasting, which easily allowed us to select our menu choices. The pricing was so reasonably priced for what we received.\r\rThere is nothing negative to say about our event, except it had to end. It was so much fun planning this special day with Michael; he became part of our family. You'll have not a single regret.

It's really pretty simple - if you want a venue that will really take your guests' breath away, choose the Ramsey Golf and Country Club. And if you want a venue coordinator who is simply awesome to work with, Michael is your guy. He is a give-it-to-you-straight, no fuss kind of guy who hit it off immediately with my fiancé and me. We liked his style so much that we never even went to see any other venue. We got an amazing deal on a Friday wedding and he hooked us up every step of the way. Over the course of the almost year of planning, he was always accessible, flexible, and super helpful. All of the great reviews about him are true... \r\rBut back to RGCC... The first time we went to visit it was the dead of winter. It was beautiful and serene even then, but we took it on faith that it would look as good in the summer as we hoped. The day of our wedding, my jaw literally dropped at the beauty of the place! The lake and rolling green hills added a stunning backdrop for the ceremony. Our guests could not stop talking about how beautiful the setting was. Michael's team did a wonderful job of transforming the indoor ballroom into a magical space with soft candlelit lighting and use of the gorgeous greenhouse effect of the windows. The younger kids were even able to relax in the private bridal suite next to the ballroom to take small breaks from all the partying. \r\rThe food was so impressive, the cocktail hour was to die for; multiple guests shared that they had totally filled themselves on the cocktail hour (definitely do the risotto station - the lobster risotto is the best I've ever had) and didn't even leave themselves room for dinner! I wasn't able to eat my filet mignon because I was too busy greeting the guests, so I was glad that we had tried everything at the tasting previously. My fiancé and I were so impressed with the food at the tasting that we were positive our guests would love dinner, as indeed they did! We got multiple compliments on the food and the amazing dessert. \r\rDespite everything that almost went wrong (huge accident on the interstate causing traffic that delayed everyone, including the bridal party, guests, and officiant!) Michael was able to roll with the punches and rearrange our day seamlessly such that our guests never even noticed the near-misses. All in all, Michael and his crew pulled off a beautiful, intimate wedding of my dreams that exceeded all my expectations and left us and our guests with the most amazing memories. He deserves every ounce of praise he gets; he invited us back for our anniversary and we can't wait to take him up on his offer!

Recently, we had our wedding ceremony and reception at RGCC. I truly am so thankful to Michael and the entire staff that made our day so special. There is only one wedding at a time and by the end of the whole process from planning to execution you feel like family. EVERY detail was taken care of and we wanted for nothing. Our guests were dazzled by the beautiful outdoor ceremony space along the golf course and the downstairs ballroom beautifully decorated. The back portion is all glass like a green house which afforded our guests a great view of the sunset and grounds. Judging by the many empty plates (scraped clean) I can verify that the guests loved the food. The dance floor is plenty big and accommodated our band and the surprise tango my husband and I performed during our first dance. I found that pricing was extremely fair especially when you consider the quality of the food and service. I truly enjoyed myself at the wedding because I knew that we were in good hands- this is significant because I and my guests have food allergies and they were able to accommodate this without an issue- in fact most of the offerings (including cocktail hour) were gluten-free. I accidentally received a potato that had dairy in it and it was swapped out in less than a minute without me even having time to really notice! Michael and his team are topnotch!

My husband and I got married on June 6, 2015 at the Ramsey Country Club. We chose the Ramsey Country Club after looking at a couple different venues but we felt for our wedding size (125 - 140 guests), the Ramsey Country Club seemed like the best option because we weren't having a large wedding and the RCC allowed us to meet a minimum of 125 guests for a Saturday night in June. Additionally, we chose the RCC because the beauty of the exterior grounds matches the beauty of the internal venue. The food is also fabulous. Outside of our wedding, we have eaten at the RCC on several occasions and plan on eating there again. \r\rWhile we chose the venue for the aforementioned reasons, it quickly became evident that the main selling point of the RCC is the extremely professional team lead by the wonderful Michael Treible. Michael is the most laid back, warm, kind and professional maitre d. \r\rOver the course of our engagement we met with Michael a couple of times to discuss the pacing of the wedding and all the small details of the evening. To say that Michael has everything under control isn't speaking enough to how competent he actually is. \r\rOn your big day, the one thing you need is someone who knows how to handle the flow of the event and to make sure everything goes smoothly. Michael has this in spades. \r\rThe week leading up to the wedding can be a very stressful one yet on our last meeting (two days before), Michael put our tensions at ease with his calming demeanor. The day of, Michael was the first face we saw when we arrived and was extremely attentive, even taking drink orders to be delivered to the spot where we were talking photos. \r\rMichael also was very well acquainted with all of our vendors which made the day flow that much more smoothly. \r\rAll in all, we can't speak enough praise about the RCC, Michael and his staff. A wonderful venue lead by a very sweet, professional man. \r\rWe would recommend Michael and the RCC to any couple looking for a great wedding venue.

Ramsey Golf and Country Club was a perfect venue for our winter wedding. From our first meeting until the last moment of the wedding night, planning was a seamless and efficient process. Many reviews have raved about Michael Trible, the Director of Events at Ramsey, and our experience was no different. At several other venues we visited, we met with junior or unexperienced staff. At Ramsey, Michael was our point of contact and involved with every interaction, from the first meeting to the day and night of the wedding itself. Our wedding involved many DIY projects and countless directions and details about the set up and flow of the evening. Despite the numerous details we requested, every single detail was executed perfectly by Michael and the Ramsey staff. He went above and beyond. During our wedding he proactively addressed last minute details and helped to calm our nerves about how the day would go. Personally, he is calm, professional and an absolute pleasure to work with. \r \rThe grounds at Ramsey provided a beautiful setting for our engagement and wedding pictures. Inside, the cocktail hour is held in a room with stone arches, providing a warm and welcoming setting. For our winter wedding, we wanted to create a twinkling golden forest. With a few details and decorations, including a lit arch, Christmas trees, and gold décor, the room was easily transformed to our vision. The food was delicious and plentiful. We would recommend the filet, the free range chicken and asparagus as a side dish.\r\rAll in all, Ramsey was the perfect setting for the wedding of our dreams. We would highly recommend the venue to anyone, and plan to host other milestone events there in the future!\r

I had heard about Ramsey Country Club from a few former brides, and had read about it in wedding magazines. We decided to go and check it out, and I fell in love right away. We met with Michael, who was so pleasant. He showed us around the club, both inside and outside. We went over what our day would consist of, along with menu choices and pricing. We went home to discuss, since I loved it so much, talked to our family and decided to book it. Ramsey Country Club was the one and only place that we went to look out. Michael sold us on day one! My husband and I went to the food tasting, where Michael made us feel like VIPs. The food was absolutely delicious and we couldn’t wait until the wedding day. Ramsey had everything we needed, and it was an absolutely perfect day and we didn’t worry about a thing. I wouldn’t have wanted my wedding any other place. The food was delicious, the staff was nice and helpful, the grounds are beautiful (which made for great wedding pictures), and Michael was the best! The moment that we walked onto the grounds at Ramsey Golf and Country Club, my (now) husband and I knew that this was where we wanted to have our wedding. Words cannot convey how ecstatic we were that we chose Ramsey Country Club for our wedding day on September 13, 2014. I can honestly say that Michael Treible and his team made our day perfect and much less stressful than I could ever imagine especially considering it poured rain all day for our wedding. Not only were they there every minute of the big day but any questions I had leading up to our wedding day Michael was quick to respond. The atmosphere they created for our day was perfect and Michael did not leave one detail unturned from the exact placement of the flowers on the cake to organizing the vendors the day of our wedding. Even though we were planning for an outdoor ceremony the indoor ceremony was absolutely beautiful and intimate and the team did such a great job setting everything up. I don’t think either my husband or I would have had the best day of our lives if it was not for Michael and his team. The food was delicious for both the cocktail hour and the reception where guests were allowed to choose their meal that evening from a selection of three main courses. It was amazing not to have to coordinate guest’s meals prior to the wedding. I would have to say as we looked at multiple venues Ramsey provided the greatest selection of food and beverages for one of the most reasonable prices in the New Jersey area (we actually looked in Maryland as well and Ramsey still had the best prices). There is nothing either my husband or I would change about choosing Ramsey Country Club as our wedding venue. I cannot say enough about how perfect our day was and we owe it all to Michael and his team at Ramsey. Thank you again to everyone at Ramsey Country Club and especially Michael Treible for making our wedding day so unforgettable!

Words cannot convey how ecstatic we were that we chose Ramsey Country Club for our wedding day on September 13, 2014. We recently had our wedding at the Ramsey Golf and Country Club on a beautiful Autumn day. Everything was fantastic! Michael Treible was so fabulous to work with. His professionalism, calmness and kindness made sure that the day ran so smoothly. He went to great lengths to make sure we were happy and having fun throughout the entire planning process. Our ceremony took place on the grounds by the lake and it was picture perfect. Our cocktail hour was filled with wonderful things, like lamb chops, sliders, shrimp cocktail, an Asian Display table full of baskets of dumplings, and even a Risotto Station with lobster risotto. Our foodie friends (and there were many of them) were so impressed! The four-course dinner, dancing, and cake at the reception were amazing. We have received at least 30 individual compliments from our friends and family that it was the BEST WEDDING they have ever attended, and as the bride and groom we definitely agree! The Ramsey Golf and Country Club was the second and final venue that my husband and I looked at for our July 12, 2014 wedding. We knew it was the right place for us to celebrate the beginning of our new life together. The layout of the club makes perfect sense for a wedding and each room is prettier than the last. \r\rOur cocktail hour was unbelievable. Our guests were able to spread out in the Abbey, the Atrium, and on the outside patio. All guests were able to sit at a table if they wanted. The display and quality of the food was top notch. Some guests could not believe that there was still a 4 course meal after it. \r\rThe ball room is beautiful and was the perfect size for our 125 person wedding. Even when all of our guests were on the dance floor, it was not overcrowded. The stage for the band/dj keeps the equipment out of the way of the guests. \r\rThe evening went off with a hitch. Michael and his assistants at the club were a pleasure to work work and made sure that everything ran smoothly. My husband and I did not have to worry about a thing once we were there. \r\r I would recommend the club to any bride and groom looking for a beautiful atmosphere, excellent service, and great food.

My husband and I as well as our parents knew from the first time we visited Ramsey Golf and Country Club and spoke with Michael that this was where we were supposed to get married (we put a date on hold during that very first meeting!!). We could just feel it, so much that I actually teared and got chills standing in the ballroom! What a gorgeous venue that is warmly intimate but easily fit our guest list of 150 with no issue at all. We were married in the sunken garden and the scenery was breath taking! Michael and his team are just simply amazing! Michael paid attention to every single detail that we asked of him and some that we hadn't even thought of! He was responsive to every email, every idea, and every question with support and encouragement. Our day was literally perfect and I know we owe a great deal of that to the team at RGCC! We honestly cannot recommend them enough! A great added bonus, since there is a restaurant on site and we are local to the area, we can go back every year to celebrate our anniversary with a meal that we know will just be as delicious and special as it was the night we got married :) Go check out this venue, you will not be disappointed!!

My fiancé and I visited about 3 or 4 venues for our wedding. I didn't really know what I was looking for, but I knew most of the places weren't \"us\". I saw an ad for Ramsey CC in one of my wedding magazines and I couldn't believe it was down the street from where we live. It looked so pretty and looked like somewhere i could see having my wedding. I made an appointment to see the venue right away. We met with Michael who is the catering manager there, and who ended up being my maître d. The second we walked out of our first meeting with him, I knew i had to get married there. Michael was so friendly and made me feel very comfortable with such a huge decision. He gave us a fabulous price to have our wedding reception there. I fell in love with the old stone \"castle\" there and the grounds are absolutely gorgeous. \rI must have emailed Michael 25 times minimum between then and the wedding date, and he always responded right away with all the information i needed. The day of the wedding was great, everything went so smoothly, and my husband and I had the time of our lives. The food was delicious! I couldn't be happier that i chose Ramsey Country Club for our wedding venue, and Michael was wonderful to work with. I can't say enough great things about it, and I highly recommend having your wedding, shower, party, whatever, at this beautiful venue.

My husband and I were married on June 25, 2010. We wouldn't have changed a thing about our Wedding. Ramsey Golf and Country club was the perfect venue for our big day. The ballroom was absolutely stunning, the view of the golf course was incredible, and the care we received from Michael Treible and his staff was nothing short of remarkable. From the moment we walked in, we were treated like family. \r\rWe couldn't have been happier with Ramsey's recommendations regarding vendors. They all exceeded our expectations and help to make our wedding day absolutely perfect! \r\rOur extended family liked the Ramsey Country Club and Michael Treible so much, that two additional weddings were held at Ramsey soon after ours! Going back as wedding guests was an absolute blast for my husband and I! \r\r

My husband and I were married on June 25, 2010. We wouldn't have changed a thing about our Wedding. Ramsey Golf and Country club was the perfect venue for our big day. The ballroom was absolutely stunning, the view of the golf course was incredible, and the care we received from Michael Treible and his staff was nothing short of remarkable. From the moment we walked in, we were treated like family. \r\rWe couldn't have been happier with Ramsey's recommendations regarding vendors. They all exceeded our expectations and help to make our wedding day absolutely perfect! \r\rOur extended family liked the Ramsey Country Club and Michael Treible so much, that two additional weddings were held at Ramsey soon after ours! Going back as wedding guests was an absolute blast for my husband and I! \r\r

...but if 6 stars were available- it would be a 6!\r\rMy cousin got married at Ramsey Golf & Country Club and it was such a beautiful event. I have been to several weddings in the past, but nothing compared to this. The landscaping is breathtaking. My cousin got married outside and it was picture perfect. The reception was flawless - a cocktail hour full of fabulous food was followed by non-stop 5 star treatment all evening. \r\rI just got engaged in July and Ramsey Golf & Country Club is first on my list - I can only hope that it is available! I am definitely going to book soon because I can only imagine how quickly it books. \r\rA lot of reviews on here mention Michael, who I know my cousin worked closely with to plan her special day. She had the same wonderful things to say about him. I can't wait to meet, and hopefully collaborate with, this magical man!\r\r\r

Words can not describe how impressed my husband, family members, and friends were by The Ramsey Country Club! We had my daughter's wedding at Ramsey Golf and County Club and I can't say enough about how wonderful everything was! From the planning to the execution of the event everything was not only taken care of but was flawless! Michael Treible went above and beyond to make certain that everything went smoothly, even calming down my stressed out bride :). He made certain everything ran smoothly and the day was perfect! The grounds are breathtaking, family is still talking about how delicious the food was, and the staff made sure that everyone was comfortable and enjoying themselves though out the entire event. I am so happy that we decided to have my daughter's wedding here! I would and have been highly recommending this place to anyone having a wedding since it was absolutely perfect!

My July 5th wedding was flawless thanks to Michael and the rest of the Ramsey staff. Michael is so helpful throughout the entire planning process. The ceremony space is gorgeous and there are so many places to take amazing photos. All the guests talked for a week about how pretty the venue was. You will not regret deciding to get married here!

My July 5th wedding was flawless thanks to Michael and the rest of the Ramsey staff. Michael is so helpful throughout the entire planning process. The ceremony space is gorgeous and there are so many places to take amazing photos. All the guests talked for a week about how pretty the venue was. You will not regret deciding to get married here!

During our wedding, my husband said to me \"I kind of wish we could get married again, so we could do it here and deal with Michael all over again.\" That pretty much sums up our experience with Ramsey Golf & Country Club. Michael was everything you could ever wish for in a maitre d'. He was always available, he answered e-mails, he was patient, flexible, and was able to accommodate absolutely everything we asked for. He was a complete guiding light throughout the wedding process, and I can't emphasize enough how much we enjoyed working with him. He was not only the point person from the moment we sat down with him more than a year before the big day, but during the reception he was buzzing around and making sure that everything went completely perfectly. My mother hasn't stopped talking about how great he was, and my husband insists that any party we throw in the future will be here. \rI loved that we were not charged for guests that did not come, there was an open bar included in the cost, and there weren't any hidden fees. Michael was upfront about everything from the get-go, and anything we wanted changed to make it perfect he was able to make happen.\rPERFECT. We LOVE RGCC, and especially Michael!!

I could not have asked more from the Ramsey Country Club for my wedding! Michael was very accommodating and was there every step of the way. He was always easy to reach and open to every idea that I had. The staff was amazing the day of, making sure that everything was as we had planned and making sure that my husband and I were completely taken care of as well as my guests! The grounds at the country club are absolutely beautiful as is the venue and its price is very reasonable compared to other locations of the same value. I honestly did not run into one issue the whole night nor did I hear anything but rave reviews from my guests. I would highly recommend Ramsey Country Club to every bride!

I had my rehearsal dinner at Ramsey Country and is was absolutely perfect! Since we only had about twenty people, we held it in the Abbey and we could not have asked for anything more. The fireplace and piano made it the perfectly romantic atmosphere. The staff was beyond attentive throughout the whole process and night. Michael, who is beyond helpful, made sure the whole process was stress free and simply enjoyable. We had some picky eaters and he made sure that everyone was pleased with their dinner options. The food was INCREDIBLE, people are still talking about it. The only thing we are upset about is not having our wedding there. I am sure they are beautiful, well run, and everything you could ever dream of.
