If I could give a million stars I would!!! My Husband Max and I got married at Ravisloe this past weekend and it was an absolute dream!! Ravsiloe by far exceeded our expectations from start to finish. We worked with Johanna who made all aspects of wedding planning a piece of cake!! We were able to get ready on site for hair and makeup while the boys played in the simulator all day until it was time to suit up! The venue is so beautiful you don’t even need decor. The food was fantastic, the servers and staff were amazing and the location of Ravisloe is awesome! I am so so grateful to have chosen Ravisloe as our wedding venue. I will cherish those memories forever! Thank you so much for the best weekend of our lives!

I just have to sing the praises of Carmen who worked our wedding. She was so kind and organized. You can tell she has everything down to a science and helps make the day run so smoothly. She answered all my questions politely and was just so helpful running around making sure everything was taken care of. I felt peace of mind just knowing things were in her hands. She also saved the day when my florist accidentally dropped off bright blue vases (oops) and Carmen just swapped them out with clear ones she had on hand - I didn't even know about this until the next day! She was attentive day of and checked in on both myself and my husband to make sure we were doing ok leading up to the ceremony. I feel like I owe her a million bucks for making our day run so perfectly!!

We were looking for a venue with potential for an outdoor ceremony but indoor space (if needed). Ravisloe fit our needs perfectly! It’s absolutely beautiful with all the greenery outside on the patio! The staff was very helpful and quick to answer questions as we planned. We were bummed that the gem cart wasn’t working but they arranged golf carts to be ready (and specially washed!) for us to take pictures. Overall we were very impressed and pleased with our decision to have our ceremony and reception at Ravisloe. The food was awesome too! We heard so many compliments from our guests about the food and the venue itself. You cannot go wrong with choosing Ravisloe. Our day was perfect!

We were looking for a venue with potential for an outdoor ceremony but indoor space (if needed). Ravisloe fit our needs perfectly! It’s absolutely beautiful with all the greenery outside on the patio! The staff was very helpful and quick to answer questions as we planned. While Ravisloe is a beautiful venue and aesthetically made for the perfect back drop for our wedding. We were incredibly disheartened by the lack of hospitality, professionalism, and over all kindness and attitude of their events team. Unfortunately, the planning process was miserable.As an industry professional myself having worked at multiple wedding venues, this venue does not provide basic details and information to their couples that would otherwise be considered industry standard. They provided little to no details of how the wedding day will go until I explicitly asked. Not to mention, two of their team members including their director of Events, Johanna, raised their voices at me and my family members. It is disappointing that when spending this amount of money that we would be treated and spoken to with such disrespect. No one should be speaking to their clients how their team spoke to us. The only saving grace from their team was Carmen. We ended up working with her since Johanna was out on maternity leave. She was the ONLY person we dealt throughout the entire process with that was kind and respectful. Overall, our experience was very disappointing and I hope that the staff reevaluates how they treat their clients.

My husband and I got married at the Ravisloe in May. It is honestly a dream venue and a hidden gem. The bridal suite and the groom’s suite made getting ready easy and fun. Johanna was so easy to work with! She made sure everything I wanted happened! She also made rescheduling the wedding extremely easy during the pandemic. We received so many compliments on our venue and our guests are still talking about it! We had a beautiful outside ceremony and cocktail hour then we moved to the beautiful ballroom for our reception.The day was perfect! The venue is beautiful! (Our pictures were AMAZING too)I would highly recommend booking the Ravisloe if you want a beautiful wedding reception that all your guest will always remember!

Ravisloe Country Club is a hidden gem! The grounds are absolutely stunning and we received SO many compliments throughout our wedding day on the venue’s beauty. My wedding felt like a complete fairy tale. The food was out of this world! We have been married for over a month now and our guests are still talking about how delicious everything was; from the Champaign to the hor d'oeuvres to the plated entree's - everything was a hit. Johanna, the venue’s wedding coordinator, was also amazing in keeping the day organized and ensuring that everything ran smoothly. There was not one thing that I would’ve changed that day, everything was absolute perfection. I would recommend this venue to anyone who is seeking a flawless wedding day!

We worked with Johanna and she was excellent and attentive. The food from Events Catering was amazing and our guests are still talking about how great the filet's were. Definitely recommend this wedding venue :)

We planned our wedding from another state. We researched dozens of venues online, but wound up only visiting Ravisloe. Even on the rainy October day we toured, the building's history and beautiful architecture sold us. But the venue coordinator, Marcia, also made us feel comfortable from our first meeting. She cheerfully offered us advice about cakes before we put a dollar down. Her experience and thoughtful nature made planning from a distance 100% easier than it could have been.Marcia continued to be an invaluable resource during months of planning, answering emails, texts and phone calls within hours (usually minutes). She was so accommodating and helped us add personal touches throughout the event. By our wedding day, I knew I could simply hand the schedule over to her and our other vendors and enjoy the event. She ran our ceremony rehearsal, made sure our parents had drinks for dinner and literally ran across the room to retrieve balloons for a special birthday celebration during our reception.Guests at our August 2018 wedding (including my family of lifelong south suburbanites) raved about everything: the ivy-covered courtyard where we held the ceremony, the hors d'oeuvres and plated dinner and the service (including late-night pizza delivery). Sarah, the assistant coordinator at our wedding who stayed through the end of the night, also was wonderful. She brought us water during photos and delivered a plate of hors d'oeuvres to the bridal suite as my mom bustled my dress during cocktail hour.We feel so lucky to have stumbled on this gem. If you're looking for a beautiful, historic venue with a fantastic team, you can't do any better than Ravisloe.

We recommend Ravisloe Country Club 1000%! The beauty of the exterior and interior, to the food, to the attentiveness and professionalism of the staff, it doesn't get any better. We were able to enjoy our day and the process leading up to it because of Ravisloe. The layout is unique in the room that will have guests talking and the food is exquisite and delicious.The grounds give you ample amount of photo opportunities for the bride, the couple, and the bridal party.Able to order late night food which is always a win for the guests.Beautiful reception site.We were not disappointed!

Marcia and team were fantastic. Great location if you are from the SW suburbs or NW Indiana. Quite possibly the only close location that has “old charm”. Beautiful grounds with architecture that would leave you think you are somewhere in Southern California. Very reasonably priced (other close by CC is 40% more with a bunch of restrictions). Everyone that attended kept talking about what a beautiful location it was for a wedding.

I attended my cousins wedding at this location! I must say for the money she and her husband spent it was not worth it at all. I just found out on yesterday from another family member that they spent 95 dollars per person. True the location is nice but the food was horrible and I get it wedding food is not always the best but the food was really bad! They did refund her a 1,000 dollars but I know for a fact that all 10 people at my table didn't eat the food! I will never refer anyone to this location! The building is old and when you have a old building on a gold course you have mice, yes we did see a mouse in the courtyard area! And that's not just to beef up this review, it's the truth! I'm writing this review because I watched my cousin put so much energy into her wedding and she was nice to everyone during the whole process and to hear that she is still so very hurt by how she was treated by this venue is heartbreaking. Also, FYI they have speakers in the courtyard but they don't work so bring your own sound system if you plan to have a good rehearsal prior to your wedding! If you still decide to use this venue! I hope the food is better now then it was the day of my cousin wedding. Because my family will never get that day back and the venue didn't seem to have a problem with that. People praise Nachelle & Ashley but they were the greatest disappointment because they made a promise that the food would be great and it wasn't, and for that reason I would never recommend this venue to anyone. And they lost so much business as my cousins wedding had a number of guest that loved the venue until the food came out!

Overall excellent choice for location!!! Vendor provided excellent hospitality, pleasant atmosphere and very clean environment. Although food served just below room temperature and could have been a bit warmer, the guest complimented that food selections were great. Highly recomend this vendor.

Just had my wedding at this location. I'm giving the rating of one star because the food for the wedding was so poor that I couldn't even eat it. I was so in embarrassed by the quality and the fact that the food taste nothing like the food we had during the tasting. Although the staff was really nice, and I had a great ceremony and all my guest loved the location. The fact that the food was so nasty it took away from everything else. To be charged 95 dollars per person the food should have been on point. Meeting with the director today regarding the quality of food service I received but they really can't undo what has ready been done.\rWell after speaking with Ashley, I was made to feel that I was not telling the truth about the food which was even more hurtful. As she put it \"she getting three different stories\" well, I'm getting the same story from my guest the food was horrible period. Again, it's not about the money with me it's the principal and I'm warning anyone that's planning to have your wedding at this location it's not worth the money! \rN. Wash-Knight

Just had my wedding at this location. I'm giving the rating of one star because the food for the wedding was so poor that I couldn't even eat it. I was so in embarrassed by the quality and the fact that the food taste nothing like the food we had during the tasting. Although the staff was really nice, and I had a great ceremony and all my guest loved the location. The fact that the food was so nasty it took away from everything else. To be charged 95 dollars per person the food should have been on point. Meeting with the director today regarding the quality of food service I received but they really can't undo what has ready been done.\rWell after speaking with Ashley, I was made to feel that I was not telling the truth about the food which was even more hurtful. As she put it \"she getting three different stories\" well, I'm getting the same story from my guest the food was horrible period. Again, it's not about the money with me it's the principal and I'm warning anyone that's planning to have your wedding at this location it's not worth the money! \rN. Wash-Knight

I loved my reception at Ravisloe. The whole process from the beginning to the end was so easy, thanks to Ashley, the wedding coordinator at Ravisloe. Also, the space isn't your traditional wedding venue. I got so many compliments on how beautiful the venue was. The food was also amazing. I've heard from multiple people that it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. I really could not have asked for anything better.

Overall we were quite happy with things: the setting, the service, the atmosphere, etc. There were a few snafus (not all of the cake flavors were cut for the dessert bar, aisle runner was placed backwards, etc.) but overall I'd call them minor! BEAUTIFUL room - a little snug for walking between since we had 200 people, but no one else complained! Amazing tablescapes and phenomenal food!

Ravisloe was the perfect venue for our wedding ceremony and reception. We were looking for a \"one-stop shop\" that was beautiful, had character, had high ceilings (weird item on our must have list, but absolutely true), but also worked within our budget and Ravisloe met all of our criteria. The staff was also wonderful and made our special day seamless. Their courtyard is beautiful, the cocktail hour/alternate indoor ceremony space was a great alternate as it did rain on our wedding day, but still made for a nice ceremony space. The ballroom definitely had a classic feel to it, without being tacky or too ordinary. I also think our food was definitely above average for a wedding. All in all, we would definitely classify this venue as a \"hidden gem\" on the southwest side.

Ravisloe was an amazing place to have a wedding. The room we got married in, the reception room, and the grounds are absolutely beautiful! The staff was extremely helpful, and they made sure our day was perfect!
