This unique building is set on 24 acres of abundant land with a magnificent vineyard and traditional barn. With a seated capacity of 300, this barn showcases a traditional and minimalistic interior that delivers the feeling of an authentic Iowa barn. Inside, it features reclaimed wood from old barns, adding endless variation in color, grain, and texture. This modern barn venue is available for gatherings all year round with covered and uncovered facilities. This country venue offers a large kitchen, several bathrooms, and beautiful preparation rooms for the wedding party. This 5,632 square foot event space is the perfect place for your rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception. A selection of rental equipment is available for your reception, including an arbor outside, centerpieces, and other décor options. The owners provide tables, chairs, benches, lighting, and sound facilities as part of your wedding package. They offer a fully stocked bar with an experienced team of bar staff. Bar services include a champagne toast, open bar, signature drinks, specialty wine, and house beer. Additionally, you will have full access to the kitchen area. This team provides setup, tear down, and cleaning services, allowing you to spend your time with loved ones. You are welcome to choose your vendors, and the owners will make suitable accommodations for your chosen band or DJ. An exclusive preparation lounge is available for you and your partner on your big day. The barn is pet-friendly, wheelchair accessible, and security is provided for your event. My wedding here was absolutely magical! Ashley and Stacey are very easy to work with and communicate with. With their help my wedding planning process was really easy and met with me multiple times since I booked so far in advance. They were able to accommodate our last minute change indoors when the weather wouldn’t cooperate. This venue was absolutely perfect and everything I wanted!

What a wonderful wedding experience! The Red Acre Barn was the perfect place for our special day! The venue is beautiful, Ashley was amazing to work with, and we couldn’t have asked for anything better! Our guests mentioned several times how beautiful the barn was and what a great atmosphere it provides. We were happy with the bridal and groom rooms for getting ready, the kitchen area was perfect for our caterer, and the bar staff did an amazing job serving our guest! The Red Acre Barn is a special place!

Red Acre Barn doesn’t just have all of the lovely charm you want in a wedding venue; the venue also has a wonderful team who goes above and beyond to ensure your wedding is memorable. The team at Red Acre Barn overheard that the late father of the Bride was not able to attend her wedding, but to ensure the Bride knew he was there in spirit they shared their dragonflies for the evening! The venues lovely outside area was swarmed with dragonflies, 10000s of dragonflies. The team noticed this abnormal occurrence and researched the meaning…pointing it out to the newlyweds. The venue team wasn’t going to miss a chance to create everlasting memories for the couples wedding.

This venue is WONDERFUL!!! The setting is beautiful inside and outside. Our guests even commented on the beauty, joy and peaceful nature of Red Acre Barn. Huge shout out to the owners!! They were so helpful with all the details and being available for every little question I had. They are amazing!!! There is not one negative! I would give 100 stars if I could!!

We loved having our wedding at the Red Acre Barn!! The barn is so gorgeous and needs little to no decoration. They also provide table decor for your use which is a great perk! Ashley and Stacey were great to work with and made the process extremely easy for us. I couldn’t imagine getting married anywhere else! Our wedding day was such a dream and this was the perfect venue!

I want everyone to know how amazing Ashley and Stacy and their venue (Red Acre Barn) is!! They went above and beyond to make us feel very special and to help make our wedding perfect. Their kindness, attention to detail and quick response anytime someone requested information was truly appreciated. The Barn and the grounds are simply beautiful and it has all the amenities that you will need! Also, they are not crazy expensive as most places are. We definitely recommend their venue to everyone. You won't be sorry!!

The Barn got sold to a new owner a month before my wedding but the transition was seamless. Ashley is super responsive and well to work with. The Barn itself has everything you could want in a venue. Definitely recommend!

We had the PERFECT wedding day at Red Acre! I saved so much money not having to get an abundance of decor because the venue is SO gorgeous it doesnt need much! Ashley is FANTASTIC to work with and she really cared about making my wedding day dreams come true! Highly recommend!

I couldn't have dreamed of a better location to hold our wedding reception; it was absolutely PERFECT! Ashley and Stacey were great to work with and one of the unique offerings of Red Acre is the rental fee includes the use of their decorations, which sets them apart from a lot of the venues in the area. I would highly recommend this venue; a country setting but only 15 minutes from the Mills Civic exit in West Des Moines.

We absolutely loved this venue! Sherry was great to work with! She responded quickly, was flexible, and open. She was so helpful! The venue was beautiful! It was clean and we loved they had decorations for us to use and a company they recommended for linens.

Sherry was so easy to work with and made our wedding dreams come true with this BEAUTIFUL venue! You don't have to worry about decorating as this place is just SO pretty on its own. Cant imagine getting married anywhere else-- the outdoor ceremony area is truly unique and makes for no bad angles for photos. Everything I ever dreamed of a venue this place has.

This was the most perfect venue for a rustic dream wedding! The outdoor ceremony space is paved so it's easy to walk down the aisle. The barn is beautiful, combining reclaimed wood on the walls that make the rustic feeling a reality and really adding such depth to the barn and to the pictures we took, while having updated facilities and a built in bar to have everything you need for your guests! Sherry is the best venue manager! She is sweet and thoughtful and responded to emails lightning fast! You have access to the barn all day which is helpful for setting up and Sherry has a ton of awesome decorations/centerpieces you can use. I can't say enough wonderful things about the Red Acre Barn!
