Couples can expect a warm Southern-style welcome as well as a host of luxurious amenities and facilities. Red Pebble Plantation is a family affair through and through. Current owner Frank McGarr is the third-generation custodian of the farm, and the grandson of the property’s founder Walter McGarr. The land is named and famed for the striking color of its soil which is dominated by red rock. The effect, looking out over the surrounding landscape, is one of a deep rust-colored undertone. The estate is a stunning natural getaway marked by tranquil ponds whose waters reflect the shadows of towering pine trees. For years hunters from far and wide have come to take advantage of the bountiful game here. Now, under the leadership of Frank, the property is diversifying and welcomes to-be-weds to celebrate their love in the wilderness. Couples can exchange vows in one of many outdoor sites, and wander the grounds afterward for a picturesque photoshoot. The lodge welcomes intimate receptions in a cozy setting defined by warm wood and a stone hearth fireplace. The lodge’s decor takes its inspiration from the classic style of the South and features mounted deer as well as artistic chandeliers made from antlers. After everyone is all danced-out, guests can retire to comfortable rooms. For those who wish to celebrate into the night, the warmth of the gazebo’s sheltered fire pit is a welcoming setting outdoors under the stars. The owners of Red Pebble Plantation are proud to welcome wedding parties to their family property. They offer full use of the lodge, and can provide event furniture such as tables and chairs. The management can organize a wedding director and decoration services should couples need. They can also provide fun activities such as skeet shooting for the entertainment of guests.

I loved so much about the venue! It's absolutely beautiful. We stayed the night before the wedding with our family and our bridal party. The rooms were great. I gave it four stars only because the app for the music was a bit difficult to use, and they didn't have enough tables or chairs. We borrowed some from our church to add to what the location offered. Other than that, everything was very accommodating.
