The event space is beautiful, the food is incredible, and the staff during the wedding were friendly and helpful. We had a decent handful of guests with unique dietary restrictions, and Chef Erika went above and beyond to ensure they were well taken care of. We enjoyed being able to meet with her and Vickie, the event manager, to discuss our menu at length. There is a restaurant that they run in addition to the event space, so sometimes it takes a little longer to receive responses to emails when they are busy and you may need to follow up. However, Vickie always responded to our follow up emails or was willing to take a phone call. We'd recommend the venue space to anyone looking for a unique, beautiful spot in Downtown Toledo with incredible food! Reviewed on 15-06-2022

We loved the location in downtown Toledo and the venue itself of a renovated warehouse was exactly what we were looking for. Vickie was great to work with. She was so flexible and understanding with us when we postponed our wedding date a few times due to the pandemic. I heard horror stories from other brides of their awful experiences with their vendors and venues and I just count my blessings that Vickie and her team were so supportive and flexible with us. It made the headache of postponing a lot easier. We also LOVED working with Chef Erika to design our menu. Our guests could not stop raving about the food. It was truly amazing. Our guests and my husband and I are raving about how beautiful the venue was and how amazing the food was. The menu is personalized to your wedding vision, plenty of options. And I’m think I’m still drooling over the pierogis and short rib :) Vickie and Erika were very responsive and willing to work with us to make our wedding day exactly how we wanted it. It was so easy since they do it all from food, to table, chair and linen set up. We used them for both ceremony and reception and the transition between the two, did not take much time. We had about 150 guests in 18 circular tables and there was more than enough room for the dance floor. We feel like we got everything we wanted and more out of Registry Bistro. We loved the art gallery cocktail hour and the entire reception was gorgeous. The food was also truly amazing and they customize the entire menu based on what you like (however since it is so custom, you do not get to try the food first). There were some little issues that arose while working with them which is why I didn't give them 5 stars, so if you're willing to work past that, it's still a great venue. Chef Erika was fabulous to work with, super responsive and friendly and made us such amazing food for our wedding night that meant so much to us. Vickie was our main contact and became a little tough to work with at times. She spelled my name wrong constantly (little, I know, but it matters), really stressed me out 2 days before my wedding day calling me at 9 PM at night saying my guest count was wrong and seating will be messed up (it wasn't wrong and she called me back later that night after I was panicked trying to figure it out on my end) and made me a bit uncomfortable in certain situations along the way. But regardless, on our wedding day everything went smoothly (besides no knives set out when we cut the cake), and I really was happy with our reception overall. Registry Catering works closely with Mager Designs to create a beautiful venue. I loved that all tables, chairs, and linens are taken care of by the venue. Vickie was a GREAT coordinator who ran the staff and kitchen and kept everything in line and on time. Chef Erika was phenomenal. The food was raved about! HIGHLY RECOMMEND Reviewed on 17-10-2019

Vickie and Chef Erika were wonderful to work with, the food was amazing (one of our favorite meetings of the entire planning process was discussing the menu with Chef Erika-- so fun and exciting to come up with your own customized wedding menu with such a talented chef), and the venue was perfect! I had tried to contact them 5 times by phone and email before my initial inquiry was acknowledged. Working with Vickie was tedious and grueling which added so much more stress to the whole wedding process. Questions or concerns I had were met with a glib and malevolent response from Vickie and I didn’t get the ‘good vibes’ you would prefer to have when working with someone for any aspect of your wedding.With our wedding we were asked to submit a schedule and that was far from followed. Vickie gave our DJ a schedule that she created, without telling me, that delayed our dinner time by 30 minutes and beyond that dinner was almost an hour late. We chose family-style dinner, since they only offered family-style and strolling stations, and a couple tables ran out of food. During our meetings we were told if food ran out at tables they would be filled by the staff and they were not, not a single one; we had to invite some guests to our head table for food. With the delay in dinner service we needed to extend the bar by 30 minutes at the end of the night; which we had to pay for and without any apologies from Vickie or Erika. And don't get me started on the bar staff, they were horrid and rude; we even had the premium bar and food options and our cost was approximately $160 a guest. We did not receive premium service by far. On a positive note, even though it was late coming out the food was phenomenal and cooked perfectly. I was not asked how the night was going or if I needed anything the entire time from Vickie, Erika, or any of the staff. Being the bride you would think someone even would have at least congratulated you…but nothing. One time we were at the restaurant the same day a food critic was there and we were almost completely ignored…at least during our wedding I wasn’t there watching someone else get impeccable service while I was not. During our wedding the restaurant was mostly empty for the night while we were stuck in the ballroom almost miserably hot; unknowing that the ventilation system wasn’t working properly. I was told by patrons of the restaurant they were told the ventilation system wasn't operating properly, again something I was never informed. This experience left a very bitter taste in my mouth about Registry, even though the food did not. The taste of the food is what drove us to keep visiting Registry Bistro even after our not-so-pleasant experiences, and why we chose it for our wedding reception. Now I have hit my tipping point and won’t be recommending Registry Bistro to anyone. Reviewed on 17-01-2017

Chef Erika is very talented and we asked her to create our wedding menu and it was fantastic. We wanted a unique meal, but not so far out there that our meat & potatoes family would be scared.
