Rein Fire Ranch is a rustic wedding venue located in Ravensdale, WA. Just 45 minutes east of Seattle and Tacoma, this lush 40-acre farm offers a secluded paradise outside the hustle and bustle of the city. Owners and husbands Rich Kaalaas and George Delmar bought the property in 2001 when it was still a working horse ranch. In 2012, they converted it into a chic wedding and event space that welcomes couples to tie the knot in a rural and intimate setting. With more than 25 years in event planning, Rich and George are excited to use their expertise to curate your beautiful and tasteful celebration. Venue Closed Nov - March. PLEASE CHECK Website Calendar for available dates. Nestled among the meadows and forests of the Sugarloaf Mountain Valley, Rein Fire Ranch offers a spectacular location in which to say I do. In the gardens, you will find a beautiful and serene outdoor ceremony site, where an Autumn Blaze maple tree heads up a stone aisle. At the end of this walkway, you can say your vows underneath the ceremony pavilion, which can be draped in billowing white lace. Hold your reception in the nearby barn, which comfortably seats 200 guests and offers a large dance floor, state-of-the-art acoustics, and beautiful up-lighting. The grounds also feature a fire pit that the staff will supply with wood and an elegant outdoor cabana bar. You can add a s’more service to the fire pit and enjoy cocktails late into the evening at the vintage-accented bar. Rein Fire Ranch’s all-inclusive wedding packages come with three planning meetings, a one-hour rehearsal, 12 hours of event time, and an engagement photoshoot. Banquet tables and chairs are included in your rental, and the venue has a long list of recommended vendors for catering, flowers, entertainment, and more. This property also offers unique and fun add-ons that will make your wedding an unforgettable experience. These include a mobile mule bar featuring Petunia the mule, wagon rides, an ice cream cart, lawn games, and an in-house DJ and officiant. You can also purchase antique-inspired décor that includes calligraphed signs, wrought-iron lanterns, wood-banded trunks, mismatched glass vases, and rusted mailboxes to create a sophisticated ambiance. The staff will go above and beyond to answer any questions, help with any details, and ensure your special occasion is a night to remember.

Rein fire ranch was truly the best place we could have picked to get married. Rich and George have thought of everything and helped to make the day perfect. A beautiful venue ran by amazing people. Our wedding was July 24! Rein Fire Ranch is the best place to get married and celebrate! From the very beginning, Rich guided and supported us more than we could have ever imagined, and we are so thankful for him!! He answered every question and gave us all the support we needed! We also used George as our DJ. He was amazing, too! He made all of the musical dreams we had come true. He was open to our ideas and support us. Then the venue itself is absolutely STUNNING! Our friends and family had so much fun with all of the amazing add ons. It was seriously the best day of our lives and Rich and George helped make that happen with endless love! Thank you both, so so much!!

WOW! We had an unbelievable wedding experience at Rein Fire Ranch in September 2021. When we first visited the venue, we knew it was the perfect place to get married, which made us feel lucky but we didn't know just how lucky. The venue owners were personable, easy to work with, and a huge part of making our big day unforgettable! Their vendor recommendations turned out to be amazing and their time spent with us leading up to the wedding was very generous. Our guests fell in love with the ranch's character and heart too. We look forward to visiting again one day. You cannot go wrong with this venue!

First off, this venue is GORGEOUS! Not only is the venue amazing but the owners, Rich and George, are amazing as well! So helpful, understanding, and experienced. They have your best interest in mind and are open to trying new things. It had always been my dream to ride on horseback into my wedding with my dad on horseback beside me and they made that dream come true! I will never forget that! Thank you Rich and George!

Rein Fire Ranch was the most amazing venue for our special day. Rich was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process, and the venue is unbelievably beautiful. Planning a wedding is tough in general, but planning one during a pandemic is beyond crazy, and Rein Fire Ranch made the process so, so great. They were so flexible, helpful, and supportive during the entire process, and we are so, so grateful. Our day was beyond perfect, all thanks to Rich and the rest of our wonderful vendors. I would highly recommend this venue to EVERYONE!!!

The best vendor decision you'll ever make - have your wedding at RFR! We had a two year long engagement, so we had lots of time to plan our wedding & spent a lot of time over the years getting to know Rich and George & the ranch. Facilities = amazing. Scenery = gorgeous. Rich and George = the best.Wedding planning can be stressful, no matter how much time you give yourself to plan. But these two make it easy! They were always very responsive and nothing but helpful. They went above and beyond to make our day perfect, and I can't recommend the venue enough.

Let me tell you, wedding of a lifetime! My mom and I really tackled the wedding process, we couldn't be happier to have gone with RFR! Rich and George really brought their already beautiful venue to a whole new level. After visiting other venues, nothing felt special or personable. Let me tell you, Rich and George are the definition of special and personable. From the beautiful drive out there, to the beautiful quite lush green mountains there is nothing but peace. You get out and there's silence, just beautiful scenery. The venue was stunning and Rich was so warm and inviting, there was no hesitation we found our venue.We had just over a year of planning to do and Rich was very communitive throughout process. If we had any questions we'd hear back from him within 48hrs. We met with Rich and George three times throughout the planning process, they were able to really help me form my vison. One thing we were super happy about is they knew exactly what they were doing! This wasn't their first rodeo and knew what would work, how and why. They really worked with our ideas and made it perfect. Rich was very on the ball and I couldn't have been happier to have my wedding in his hands. I never had to worry if something was going to work or not because Rich had it!As for the venue it's self, it's truly beautiful. The bridal sweet was big and bright, with great lighting and wood accents. There was a perfect place to do hair and make-up. The men's quarters was also perfect, with a mini fridge, couch and pool table it made for a great chill spot. The reception barn was well light and decorated! The day of went smooth thanks to Rich and George. Highly recommended this venue!

Our wedding day at Rein Fire Ranch far surpassed any expectations we had. Rich and George went above and beyond to ensure our wedding day was so very special. We were treated to professionalism and care all throughout the planning process. My fiancé and I frequently contacted them with questions and they responded in a very timely manner. The staff ensured that everything went smoothly the day of our wedding. We opted for many of the add on packages/decor and the options to choose from is unbelievable. Without Rich and George our wedding day would not have been possible. Rich officiated our ceremony and George was our DJ - they both did an outstanding job from the planning to the execution. I have never been one to write reviews, but was highly compelled to - all thanks to the amazing staff and experience at Rein Fire Ranch.

WOW. Rein Fire Ranch was an amazing venue. Not only is it beautiful but the venue owners, Rich and George are outstanding. They offer planning meetings, a variety of services and have a true passion for the business that they run. We felt so confident in the months leading up to our special day and it turned out to be so much more than anticipated. We would recommend this venue over and over.

Despite having a rainy ceremony, our day was perfect. We are convinced that there is no better venue if you're hoping to showcase the beauty of the PNW.

Rein Fire Ranch has everything I ever could have wanted in a wedding venue. From the beautiful drive in and the manicured ceremony garden to the gorgeous barn, you couldn’t ask for a more stunning backdrop for your wedding day. It was incredibly relaxing to arrive in the morning, get ready onsite and not have to worry about getting people from place to place. Being out in the hills with so much space and open air, it was hard to feel stressed about anything. There is a reason this won Best Wedding Venue, because they truly do have it all. But the place alone was not the only selling point here, the owners were incredibly friendly throughout the entire planning process and always very responsive – I don’t think Rich would let anything other than an amazing wedding happen on his property, he was so reassuring and helpful. Our package included not only the day-of rental with all the tables & chairs, but an incredible list of suggested (not required!) vendors who were all familiar with the venue, time to shoot an engagement photo session on the property and multiple visits to nail down our planning. I could not recommend this place and the amazing people who run it enough – if you want that stunning outdoor and low-stress wedding, this is the place to do it!

Rich + George (Owner) Rein Fire Ranch is owned and operated by Rich Kaalaas and husband George Delmar. A working horse ranch when they acquired the property in 2001, they developed the ranch into a wedding and special event venue in 2012, in part to make better use of their combined 25 years experience in event and wedding production and to open the ranch for more people to enjoy.
