Our wedding reception at the Allentown Renaissance was more than we ever could’ve hoped for which we owe all to Angela, Matt, and the event staff!! To start, the venue itself is absolutely gorgeous and all of the hotel staff were very welcoming and friendly. Our guests were impressed with not only the food but the beauty of the hotel rooms, ballroom, and balcony. The entire planning process was seamless all due to Angela! She’s a rockstar!! Angela was super accommodating to all of our needs and constantly went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed starting from the initial venue tour to the day after the wedding when we left. She was incredibly helpful and responsive especially with answering our many many questions and was super meticulous to make our dream wedding come to life. She made sure that our room block was big enough so that all of our guests could stay at the hotel, accommodated our needs due to our DIY decor, perfectly executed our decor set up, and made sure that we were never stressed or overwhelmed. We also could not thank and speak more highly about all of the wait staff, bartenders at our wedding and especially the waitress at our sweetheart table Rose. She made sure that we never needed or wanted anything and that our drinks were never empty. The Renaissance Allentown and especially Allentown were an absolute dream to work with and made our wedding AMAZING!! We cannot recommend this venue enough!!

I wish there was more than a five star option for Angela and her team at the Renaissance Hotel Allentown! Angela was amazing since day one of setting up an appointment to tour the venue, and she did not slow down through the entire wedding planning process. She was responsive through emails and texts/calls, and she consistently wanted to make sure never felt overwhelmed. A major selling point for our wedding was to be able to have all of our guests stay at the hotel, and she made a block big enough for everyone that needed a room to have one. We had a guest with a severe airborne allergy, and she made sure that our request of no nuts at our reception was taken very serious by all. Angela made our wedding reception magical and a moment we will never forget. I could trust and rely on her, which she made known throughout the entire process. The venue is gorgeous, and we were able to take advantage of the balcony. The after party was moved to the The Dime bar, and the staff there was accommodating and kind especially as we had a large group.

For the past year, the last few months, the week of the wedding and the wedding day, Angela was on top of everything! Her professionalism and attention to detail and willingness to listen to our concerns and work through some anxiety was top notch! The room was set up just as we'd asked and she did a beautiful job presenting the displays for the cookie table as requested. The reception ran so smoothly from the cocktail hour to the introductions to dinner and then dessert. And when everything was over, Angela was still there with her staff, making sure all of our personal things were packed up carefully and neatly to be picked up the next day. Guests who stayed at the Renaissance said the accommodations were great and checking in and out went smoothly. Our wedding was April 2022 after rescheduling from April 2021. My husband and I had the perfect day and our guests all had a wonderful time! Angela was extremely helpful and supportive with every question or concern we had along the way. Angela is meticulous in planning and the entire staff at the Renaissance was extremely helpful in accommodating requests. We were fortunate to have our rehearsal, wedding, and reception all on site which eliminated a lot of stress of bouncing to different locations. The balcony off the ballroom is expansive and well maintained our ceremony was outside and guests enjoyed the opportunity to go outside for fresh air or to see the skyline at night. The accommodations our awesome and our room was perfect for getting ready in the morning with plenty of space for hair and makeup to set up also including a large outdoor space as well. The cocktail hour food was awesome the massive spread that was accessible to our wedding party was entirely wiped out. The lounge area for cocktail hour includes a gallery of art that is updated often and is the perfect backdrop for additional photos inside the hotel. Our wedding was slightly over 150 people with 16 tables. The banquet hall and cocktail hour never felt overwhelmed and fit our group perfectly. I am grateful to have been able to have our wedding here and hope to return soon to enjoy the amenities The Renaissance has to offer. Angela, you will be greatly missed as I feel you became a friend over the process!Highlights:- Spacious and updated accommodations- Accommodations for Newlyweds- Beautiful decor/ambiance- Great dining on-site, The Dime- Ample parking on-site- Rooftop and Outdoor Spaces- Dog Friendly- Great location

We had initially scheduled our wedding reception at the Renaissance with Angela Salloum as our coordinator for May 2,2020. Unfortunately, because of Covid our wedding was forced to be rescheduled 3 times. With all 3 postponements Angela and the whole Renassiance team were wonderful. Every detail moved 3 times. Countless numbers of emails, texts and phone calls later we finally were able to have our event at the Renaissance September 25,2021. I am not even truly sure how Angela did somethings that day. She did everything before I even had a chance to think about it . I can’t tell you how many times I would ask someone to do something or where something was and how many times I heard “Angela already took care of it “ I worried about nothing the day of my wedding and everything went off just as planned. When Angela left for the night Vincent (another awesome Renaissance employee) picked up and made sure my husband and I and our guests always had what we needed. I would highly, highly, highly recommend the Renassiance to anyone planning a wedding. Angela and all the staff made my wedding better then I ever could have imagined. It was well worth the wait.

We got married in early November 2019 at the Renaissance hotel in Allentown and it was amazing. Angela and the staff were incredibly helpful, professional, and thoughtful during the planning, the rehearsal, and the big day. Every detail was thought through and I can honestly say there was never a time when we felt like there was an issue. Angela and her staff even planted our custom center pieces for the day - something we were going to do and they insisted that we enjoy the days leading up to the event and they would take care of it. The food was incredible and our guests raved about the quality, temperature and presentation of the dinner. The wedding staff were extremely friendly and accommodating and seemed to actually enjoy themselves while making our most important day memorable. The venue was beautiful and Angela suggested and provided additional touches to the ceremony, the seating chart (digital and created by Angela) and the reception. I cannot say enough positive things about the way this hotel and their staff conducted themselves. When we visited the hotel to get a tour Angela took as much time as we needed to see everything and answer all of our questions. She was communicative over the year we were planning and met with us several times to ensure we were on track with everything and more importantly that we were happy with the process.We highly recommend this hotel and Angela for your wedding needs! You will not be disappointed!

I’m not a planner so having Angela was a lifesaver for me! She made herself available when needed despite her crazy hectic schedule. She reassured not only myself, a nervous anxious bride , that everything would be okay but also family members of mine! The space and rooms were amazing. Food - every guest said it was the best “ wedding food “ they have ever had and plan to come back to the Dime to eat. I did have some issues with not having access to my suite due to the keys not working several times and my bouquet was lost. Those would be my only two complaints. Everything else was amazing and I couldn’t have asked for a better staff and day! Thank you!

Angela is AWESOME! I can not thank her enough for going above and beyond for us. She made Wedding planning look easy. Anything I missed she was right there to remind me what we needed. She is Amazing! So caring and loving really wants to make sure your days goes as planned a smooth and everything you expected. The staff was wonderful everyone works together. Vincent was also amazing making sure the reception went as planned. I can go on and on about how much this staff went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. They cared about each and everyone one of us. I recommend anyone looking to have a wedding to check out the Renaissance Allentown there staff is AMAZING And will make sure your day is everything you imagined and more. Angela Salloum (Director of Catering) I was born and raised in Allentown and live in in Northampton PA.! I absolutely love the Lehigh Valley and my job here at the Renaissance.
