Rachel Edoho Davis(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 06-08-2022 We originally had our wedding planned for May of 2020. Due to the the pandemic, we had to postpone to August of 2022. The entire experience with hotel staff and venue was phenomenal. A big shoutout to Madison for helping coordinate every detail and request. She was professional, responsive, and kind. Also, big thanks for Matt for getting our room block locked in. This has been a long time coming. Thank you everyone at Renaissance for making our day run smoothly! Reviewed on 12-08-2022
Adrienne Clark(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 20-06-2020 My husband and I had our wedding reception at Renaissance Baton Rouge Hotel and cannot say enough WONDERFUL things about the entire staff and venue. We had to postpone our wedding due to the pandemic and everyone was so accommodating with making sure our original day and actual wedding day were special. Shout out to Jennifer, Lacey and Tina for supporting us every step of the way. They went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect. Not only do they respond to inquiries quickly, they are extremely patient throughout the entire process. This is hands down the best place to host your wedding and/or reception in Baton Rouge—-and probably the surrounding area! The ballroom is gorgeous, the food is impeccable and the service is like no other! Thanks again for an amazing experience! Reviewed on 26-06-2020

Shalendra Johnson(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 28-04-2018 Choosing to have our wedding at the Renaissance Hotel was the absolute best decision. Ellie Jones, the Catering Sales Manager, was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. In the beginning, I wasn't really sure of the layout that I wanted for the ceremony and reception. She made me feel like that was totally okay and came equipped with several ideas on how to set up. Once I chose a layout, she was extremely accommodating to any changes I made - all the way up to the last minute! Ellie guided us through the catering menu and asked us questions about our guests to ensure that we not only had a menu that we loved, but that we also accounted for people with food intolerances/allergies. She created a timeline for the day of the ceremony, worked seamlessly with my wedding planner and vendors, ensuring everything went according to plan. And, it did! Everything was perfect. It was the wedding of my dreams! Reviewed on 16-05-2018
Kristi Harrison(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 13-03-2015 The Renaissance was the perfect hotel for my family and wedding guests! The lobby is so fancy and beautiful, the breakfast was great, and the bar was perfect for the after-party for my family and friends to gather.\rWe stayed in one of the suites, and it was plenty of space for me and my bridesmaids to get ready. I liked how the bedroom was separate from the living space with the couches. Overall great hotel experience! Reviewed on 09-04-2015
De'Ja Clark(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 13-04-2013 The hotel alone was just fabulous! The staff was very friendly. The hotel actually catered our wedding & the food was fantastic! I would definitely recommend them to anyone planning a wedding in the baton rouge city. Even if you are just looking for a place to eat or go have a drink, you can go to their Tellulah Bar. The pricing depends on what you want for a wedding, but it's nothing out of the ordinary! We got a bridal suite the night of the wedding, so after partying we just hopped on the elevator & went to our room. Guests can drink all they want & go to their room, nobody had to get on the highway intoxicated. Our suite was very beautiful & service was awesome!! We couldn't have asked for more!! Michelle Dyer(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 07-07-2012 After a lengthy search for a honeymoon suite in Baton Rouge, I finally found the next best thing in the Renaissance's \"Romance Package.\" We arrived after out reception and were greeted with a very friendly staff. Our room was on the highest floor (12th) and had a great view of the city. In our giant room we found a bottle of chilled champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. The room was fantastic and had a modern theme with a little splash of Louisiana culture- so cute! The package also included the full breakfast buffet that featured made-to-order pancakes, waffles, and omelets as well as eggs, hashbrowns, really good grits, etc. This package also included a late check out of 3pm. We didn't stay that long, but it was nice to know we didn't have to rush! Would recommend this to anyway in the BR area on their wedding night! Don't waste your money on those tiny rooms at the Hilton with no perks. Reviewed on 09-07-2012
