Every aspect of working with the Renaissance to plan our dream wedding was flawless. Danielle Clarke is a PHENOMENAL person to work with - she was easy to work with, thorough in her communications, very professional, had lots of recommendations and resources and ultimately made sure everything went perfectly. The food and beverage at the Renaissance is incredible, and the facilities are GORGEOUS. This is not your âtypicalâ hotel wedding experience - this is a luxury, upscale experience. We had our dream day and are so grateful!

Every aspect of working with the Renaissance to plan our dream wedding was flawless. Danielle Clarke is a PHENOMENAL person to work with - she was easy to work with, thorough in her communications, very professional, had lots of recommendations and resources and ultimately made sure everything went perfectly. The food and beverage at the Renaissance is incredible, and the facilities are GORGEOUS. This is not your âtypicalâ hotel wedding experience - this is a luxury, upscale experience. We had our dream day and are so grateful!

The Renaissance is the most BEAUTIFUL venue to have your wedding and/or reception. I could not be happier that we chose to book this location. Danielle was our venue coordinator who we worked with from our initial visit all the way through and beyond wedding day. She is prompt in responding to emails and calls. Every question we had was answered and she helped us with ideas along the way. The food (in house) was the best wedding food Iâve had anywhere and the options are top notch. The food tasting and the meetings were set up in detail so there were no questions as we approached wedding day. Once we checked in to the hotel everything ran so smoothly and the entire staff was amazing beyond expectation. Everything ran with ease and they made sure we were having the best time. I could not have landed a better location and I cannot recommend the Renaissance enough! You canât go wrong booking this venue.

We had both our wedding ceremony and reception at the Renaissance and it was truly a magical experience. The building itself is gorgeous and the setting made our wedding even more fantastic. Most of our guests were from out of town and they truly appreciated the hotelâs central location and the ease of having all wedding activities in one location. They also enjoyed nearby Cincinnati attractions during the wedding weekend, such as the streetcar, the Banks, Findlay Market, Fountain Square, various museums, the Zoo, etc. It was a pleasure to work with Danielle Clark and the entire hotel staff during the time prior to the wedding and on our wedding day. Danielle was always very responsive to our emails and was very helpful. The chef, banquet staff, post-wedding brunch staff, front desk staff, valets, room service personnel, etc. were all very receptive and understanding regarding our concerns, whether it involved rooms for our guests, guest count, parking, or dietary issues. Danielle was familiar with and worked efficiently with our planner, vendors, and officiant. The hotel staff was especially friendly and kind to us and all of our out-of-town guests who stayed at the hotel. Everyone raved about the hotel, the staff, the delicious food, the location, etc. We are thrilled that we selected the Renaissance for our wedding and will always cherish the memories of the day, which were made even more remarkable by the special Renaissance staff.

I couldn't be happier with my experience at the Renaissance. It was exactly what I pictured for my wedding weekend. From the moment we first toured the space to the day of our wedding, the staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. Danielle was the utmost professional and made me feel so special every step of the way. I could go on and on about how pleased we were with every detail of the entire weekend that was taken care of by the staff at the Renaissance. From our first meeting with Danielle a whole year out to the lovely details and incredible service at my bridal suite getting ready with my girls on my wedding day, I felt 100% taken care of by the Renaissance Hotel and the fantastic staff. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous, with stunning views and ample space for all of our guests. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, and the bar service was top-notch. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect, thanks to the hard work and dedication of the staff at the Renaissance. I highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a beautiful and stress-free wedding experience. The last thing I'll say is that my dad (the one with the check and the \"are you sure you don't just want to take the money and elope?\" attitude) was blown away by how well we were taken care of all weekend. I've rarely seen him so enthusiastic and impressed.

The decision to have our large wedding reception at the Renaissance Cincinnati was one of the best decisions we made throughout our wedding planning journey. Burnham Hall is extraordinary with its beauty, grandeur and history! Additionally, nearly everything we needed was included such as the tables, chairs, cloths, place settings, table numbers and the dance floorâŠetc, etc! When these items need to be rented from outside sources, prices for your event begin to skyrocket, not to mention all the additional effort it takes to pull it together. The food and beverage service quality was excellent and the tastings were fun, clear and oh so delicious! The staff was very professional and dedicated to a smooth and first class evening experience. We could not have been more pleased! All of this was pulled together seamlessly by our dedicated Renaissance event planner Danielle who answered every call, text and enquiry with grace and prompt efficiency! We loved her!As the majority of our guests were arriving from out of town and staying at the Renaissance for the weekend, the hotel experience was also quite extraordinary. From the moment you pulled up in your car, the bellmen were falling over themselves to help you unpack your vehicle, see you to check in and get you settled in your room. The hotel also has a wonderful bar and dining area that added so much fun and a place for your guests to gather at the âin between â moments of a full wedding weekend!There are many cogs to the wheel of a large formal wedding and without a doubt, The Renaissance handled them all expertly. Danielle at the Renaissance is AMAZING! She is very knowledgeable, organized and so easy to work with! Danielle was SO helpful during the entire process from initial venue selection to the whole planning process and finally throughout the wedding day itself. No question was too small, as she answered all with the same enthusiasm. Not once did I feel overwhelmed and stressed while working with her. She also had many great suggestions and ideas! She always took the extra step to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of! We are so thankful that she made sure every detail was perfect for our daughter and now son-in-law.In terms of the space, the ballroom is large and the ceiling is beautiful. The food was also delicious. Our out of town guests all enjoyed the convenience of staying at the hotel as well. My husband and I chose to get married at the Renaissance because it was such a stunning venue! Planning a wedding can be beyond stressful but the Renaissance made it so easy! Danielle the wedding coordinator made us feel at ease throughout the entire process, helping finalize all the details, working with vendors and making sure the day ran smooth. The staff at the Renaissance were all very attentive, and the food was amazing! Plus you do not have to worry about things such as tables, linens, food, etc to ease some of the planning stress

I couldnât be happier with our choice to have our reception at the Renaissance Hotel. The ability for guests to take an elevator to their room straight after the reception was a huge benefit, not to mention the ballroom is GORGEOUS. They have a BIG dance floor, and the staff here has always been extremely friendly, accommodating, and upbeat! They worked so hard to make all the little details of our day come together, and we are so appreciative. We had some very specific requests, and they delivered on all of them! The food was also DELICIOUS!! We had so many compliments from guests on how great their meals were!! As major foodies, we are so glad the food turned out great! The rooms were beautiful, and the location of this venue canât be beat â right downtown & walking distance to a ton of restaurants & bars. We also did a farewell brunch the morning after the wedding, and the food & experience at this was outstanding too. It was so nice to see our guests again and mingle before everyone went on their way

We had the best day ever with our wedding at Renaissance Cincinnati. Danielle was so easy to work with, communicated well throughout the planning process, and was present throughout the entire day. From getting ready at the hotel to pictures, and the after party, everything was flawless! Our guests were very satisfied with the ease of staying at the hotel, parking at the hotel, and heading down to the Bengals game a block away the next day. Food was great! Highly recommend!

The Renaissance is a spectacular wedding venue - Burnham hall and the loft above are beautiful and so elegant. The working staff was incredible and the food was excellent. However, we had a challenging time with the valet (they shut it down mid-event and told our guests to find their own parking) and event management team, as many of the details that we discussed prior to our wedding were not in place on the day of the wedding, so that was disappointing. If you are doing your wedding here, I would recommend being incredibly detail-oriented and on top of the Renaissance event management (or hiring a wedding planner to do this for you), as a lot got missed on our event that was clearly outlined and discussed ahead of time. Despite these mishaps, we still had an incredible wedding and the venue is truly breathtaking!

The Renaissance Hotel was beyond beautiful, the staff was amazing, and working with their wedding coordinator (Danielle) was excellent! 10/10 - Would 100% recommend you have your wedding here. The planning process was so easy with the Renaissance. They were there to answer questions every step of the way, and they were able to offer up suggestions to make our planning process even better. The food was absolutely delicious! We had tons of rave reviews from our guest on the portion sizes of the meals and the quality of food. When we went in for our tasting, we were blown away by the flavors. You canât make a wrong choice with the food options they have! To add to just how amazing the service is at the hotel, my 90 year old grandmother wanted a scoop of ice cream for dessert at the wedding and a bowl of oatmeal for breakfast the next morning, and they did it without any hesitation or question. All around, the service at the Renaissance was above and beyond. We had a small snafu where I sent an item out for drycleaning Friday night that I needed the next morning, and apparently the local cleaner wouldnât have it done until Monday. I still have no idea what happened, but the hotel got my item back from the dry cleaner while we were at the rehearsal dinner down the street. Crisis averted!I canât rave enough about the experience with the Renaissance hotel. Between myself and my husband, our parents, and all of our guests, everyone was thrilled with the service and experience.

The Renaissance Hotel was beyond beautiful, the staff was amazing, and working with their wedding coordinator (Danielle) was excellent! 10/10 - Would 100% recommend you have your wedding here. The planning process was so easy with the Renaissance. They were there to answer questions every step of the way, and they were able to offer up suggestions to make our planning process even better. The food was absolutely delicious! We had tons of rave reviews from our guest on the portion sizes of the meals and the quality of food. When we went in for our tasting, we were blown away by the flavors. You canât make a wrong choice with the food options they have! We originally worked with Nikki before the pandemic hit and then began to work with Jordan. Both ladies were great to work with. Jordan picked up and finalized things as the big day drew near. It was very refreshing to see her familiar face when we got back to the Renaissance after the ceremony. She kept things moving and made sure we were taken care of all night long. EVERYONE that worked our wedding night (wait staff, bartenders, valet, etc) were all so friendly. Not just to the wedding party; but they were friendly to all of our wedding guests. That really was a true testament of how they are as a wedding venue and a business. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Renaissance for weddings or any event.

The layout and food got a 100% approval from one and all. A special thanks To Nikki who was there to oversee the rehearsal event. Our out of town guests found booking to be extremely easy, the hotel amenities to be beyond expectation, and the staff extremely helpful and courteous. Every detail from cocktail reception to the delicious meal, late-night snack, and Sunday morning brunch to the courteous and attentive staff made this an unforgettable experience. We highly recommend the Renaissance Cincinnati to anyone planning a wedding reception in the Cincinnati area.

The Renaissance Cincinnati Downtown Hotel is an excellent choice if you are planning a wedding reception in Cincinnati. The Venue is beautiful, the food amazing and the staff is excellent. As the parents of the bride, we worked with Director of Catering, Jordan Adams to plan the event. Jordan did an amazing job coordinating everything. With her extensive experience with planning events, Jordan was an excellent source of information when guiding us through the planning process. The day of the wedding, Jordan was there to make sure everything was perfect. Gary Adams, Director of Banquet Operations worked with us to ensure AV equipment was setup and ready for presentations we had prepared for the reception. He even met with us a few days prior to the reception to do a trial run to make sure there were no issues with connecting our laptop to the equipment. We had many out of town guests, so booking the event at the Renaissance made it extremely convenient for those guests and many local guests who reserved rooms at the Renaissance. They could enjoy themselves at the reception and didnât have to worry about driving afterward. Everything from the preparations for the cocktail area and the reception in Burnham hall, the delicious meal and late-night snack, to the courteous and attentive staff made this an unforgettable experience for the bride and groom and all our guests. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the entire event. Our guests told us that this was the best wedding reception they had ever attended. It's been a little over a month since our wedding and our guests are still bringing up h0w beautiful our reception was at the Renaissance. The venue itself is elegant and timeless (and, to be honest, looks far less affordable than it is). Looking back on our pictures, I can honestly say that I could not have picked a more beautiful space. More importantly, I have nothing but wonderful things to say about our event manager, Jordan, and her team. She was easy to work with and did everything to make sure our day was perfect. Leading up to our wedding, Jordan was always available to answer any questions we had. The day of the wedding, she made sure that everything was perfect and ready to go. Our banquet manager, Gary Adams, also did an amazing job to make sure the evening was perfect. I can't say enough great things about everyone on the staff that evening and am so thankful for all of their hard work!Jordan and her team truly went above and beyond to make this day great. We must have mentioned during one of our first meetings that my father-in-law preferred Sam Adams beer (which was not included in our package), so, at the reception, they brought in a case of Sam Adams specially for him. It was a completely unexpected and very thoughtful surprise. Another surprise came at the end of the night when we went up to our complimentary suite for the night - there were four pieces of our wedding cake cut and wrapped and a bottle of champagne waiting for us when we arrived - which was perfect because I realized, at that moment, that I had not even had a chance to eat a piece during the reception! Finally, I learned the day after the wedding that my car - which my husband had driven down on the day of the wedding - would not start after it was dropped off at the valet. One of the valets had jumped the car for us, so we would not be bothered on the day of our wedding. Lastly, I want to touch on our meal during the reception. I think we all have pretty low expectations when it comes wedding food, but this meal blew any other out of the water and I'm very impressed with the catering team. Thank you to everyone at the Renaissance for making our day perfect!

Without a doubt the best indoor wedding reception venue in Cincinnati!!! The venue is gorgeous, the food was delicious, and the staff was great! Weeks later and our guests are still commenting on how much they enjoyed the venue and how beautiful the ballroom is. We worked with Jordan Adams and she did an amazing job coordinating the event. She was an excellent source of information and advice throughout the process. Furthermore, she really went out of her way to make sure every request was accommodated throughout the planning process and on the big-day. For example, when a few of our guests tried to book a hotel room after our room block expired, she was the first person to make sure a room was available and made an exception to give them the discounted rate. During the planning process she offered insight into what has worked well with past weddings and, when the wedding day finally arrived, she made sure every little detail was perfect, including personally bringing us (bride and groom) food and drinks and leaving a handwritten thank you note in our room. There were also a few perks to hosting an event at the Renaissance that we didnât consider before we booked: it was easier on our guests since all they needed to do was walk up to their room after the reception (no need for cabs!), most of our other wedding vendors had worked in the space before so they were familiar with the space, and it had great acoustics for speeches and music (an overlooked point, but it really makes a huge difference). We really cannot say enough positive things about the Renaissance and its staff â our day went off without a hitch and we truly felt like royalty. We would highly recommend to any engaged couple!!

We had our wedding reception there on July 9th and have not stopped hearing excellent compliments from our guests since then! The event space was just stunning, spacious, and one of a kind. The utilization of the mezzanine for our cocktail hour provided for a very unique setting, allowing our guests to view all of our hard work and planning done by us and the Marriott prior to the actual reception beginning. Everyone we worked with from the front desk to the banquet staff to the bartenders and our main event coordinator, Heather, were extremely professional, personable, and accommodating! Heather was very attentive, ensuring she gave a lot of personal attention to the bridal party, but particularly us (the bride and groom) catering to anything we needed during the entire night...and surprising us with things throughout our stay! The entire staff made the entire 14 month planning process a joy. Heather worked so hard to nail down every little detail that we wanted. I had my wedding reception at the Renaissance Hotel in July 2016 and Jordan Adams and her team at the Renaissance were an absolute dream to work with. Any and all of my random questions throughout the entire planning process were answered immediately. All of our guests raved about the food and the space is BEAUTIFUL. My husband and I did not want a \"cookie cutter\" reception venue, and we knew we found something special and unlike any other venue in Cincinnati when we walked through Burnham Hall at the Renaissance. Not only was Jordan and her team wonderful to work with throughout the planning process, but made our wedding day seamless. We needed a full length mirror in the bridal suite on the wedding day morning because that's where my bridal party and I got ready that morning and one was delivered to us upon request, no problem. Although that's a minor example, random requests such as these were honored throughout the entire process (food allergies, special table signage, etc.). Everyone loved the venue and our wedding reception went perfectly. The only problem we encountered was when the florist came to collect vases from the hotel. The hotel said they would collect all the vases we rented and give them to the florist. According to the florist they lost 4 cases from cocktail hour and we had to pay for the hotels error.

This was the perfect setting for the most important day of our lives. Jordan and the rest of the staff made sure every detail was covered and that we were happy throughout the entire process. We got married in the Flat Iron room, had cocktails in the pre-function space and went right into our reception in Burnham Hall- and everything flowed with ease. I never once felt flustered or worried that something would go wrong. The food, the drinks and the space were simply perfect.

This was the perfect setting for the most important day of our lives. Jordan and the rest of the staff made sure every detail was covered and that we were happy throughout the entire process. We got married in the Flat Iron room, had cocktails in the pre-function space and went right into our reception in Burnham Hall- and everything flowed with ease. I never once felt flustered or worried that something would go wrong. The food, the drinks and the space were simply perfect.

I cannot say enough good things about the Renaissance. Heather and her team are incredible! From the beginning planning stages all the way through the end of the reception the hotel helped us with anything and everything we needed. The ballroom is breathtaking. The food was wonderful with large portions and multiple people told us how much they enjoyed the food and drinks. They set everything up for us for the ceremony and reception so there was nothing we needed to do. It was worth everything penny spent.

Jordan and the rest of the staff at the Renaissance was amazing. The service and food was outstanding and the venue itself if absolutely gorgeous. Planning the event with Jordan was awesome. She was incredibly responsive to all requests and extremely flexible to ensure that the event was even better than I could have imagined. Our biggest concern going into the event was long lines at the bar and they opened extra bars during the initial hours of the cocktail hour and reception just to gaurantee that no one had to wait for a drink. I would absolutely recommend using Jordan and the Renaissance.

The Renaissance was the perfect venue for us. It is an absolutely GORGEOUS venue. The whole event was perfect. Heather (our main contact) was absolutely fabulous. She made our day run so smoothly. There were some minor things that popped up here or there (as there always is), but between Heather and the banquet staff it was all taken care of immediately. We had numerous guest tell us that the food was not only the best wedding food that they'd ever eaten, but the best steak that they'd ever had - which is a huge compliment in Cincinnati! It's not a cheap venue, but it was first class all the way. THANK YOU!

Simply a dream come true! From the moment that I walked into the Renaissance (even when it was under construction) I knew this was the perfect venue for our wedding reception. The room is absolutely breath taking! Jordan was wonderful to work with and extremely helpful! The day off staff was very professional and the food was exceptional. Definitely a five-star experience!
