Renaissance is a private country club wedding venue located on the North Shore of Boston in Haverhill, MA. Just a short drive from The Andovers, Newburyport, and Southern New Hampshire, this estate provides classic elegance in a beautiful New England setting. The venue only books one wedding per day, ensuring you and your partner privacy and exclusivity on your special occasion. With flexible indoor and outdoor spaces, intricate architectural details, and stunning views of the 18th hole, this property is an excellent choice for your nuptials.
The ballroom at Renaissance can host 230 guests in its spacious and exquisite interior. This hall features gracefully domed cathedral ceilings from which hang elaborate chandeliers. These sparkling lighting fixtures illuminate the raised panel walls and exposed beams that give the space its distinctive and sophisticated look. Throughout the night, guests can step out onto the covered terrace and enjoy drinks while they admire the sloping lawns of the golf course. For your cocktail hour, the clubhouse has multiple private rooms and a courtyard with a grand porte-cochĂšre. Ceremonies are held outdoors in the garden. Here, a trellis and wooded backdrop set the scene for your romantic exchange of vows. A wooden bridge through the trees can also be utilized for photographs with loved ones.
When you book with Renaissance, you will be assigned a dedicated event specialist who will work closely with you throughout the planning process. The venue also offers a wide range of gourmet catering menus that you can customize to your tastes and preferences. All-inclusive packages come with Chiavari chairs, floor-length linens, gift and banquet tables, china and silverware, and napkins in a variety of colors. You can also rent the Hospitality Suite for up to eight hours ahead of the ceremony. Eight overnight accommodations are available for to ensure a relaxing and rejuvenating wedding weekend experience.

My husband and I got married here on Aug 26, 2023 and this was the absolute best choice we made!! From the time we booked to the wedding night everything was just flawless. This is an all inclusive venue which is great because things like chairs, linens, silverware, dining, etc. were things we didn't have to worry about. They offer a lot of choices as well. In addition to the space being absolutely BEAUTIFUL, from the high ceilings in the ballroom to the outside grounds, Jessica out coordinator was phenomenal! She answered all my questions from the beginning and I asked A LOT! The Renaissance has a wonderful staff and they set everything up perfectly just as I envisioned and asked. Jessica is a shark! She kept everything on time as much as she can, worked well with my vendors, and most importantly was very attentive to me and my husband on our day. She made sure we ate and drank, even if it meant to hold off cutting the cake for a few minutes. Her and Luke were always checking in on us at our table and making sure we had everything we needed. I couldn't recommend this place enough and I wish I had another event to have here. I can't forget the most important part- the food was AMAZING! Renaissance is the PERFECT place to host a wedding (or any function)! After our original venue didn't work out, my husband and I found Renaissance Golf Club. we booked a tour with Samantha and instantly knew this was where we had to get married. Samantha went over every option we could have including staying at the venue to make the day easy for us, as well as what options we had for vendors and who would work based on our budget & style. Once we booked, we met with Jessica, it became clear we were lucky to find them. Jessica made every task, a bride may stress about, easy. We were even able to order our favorite beverages to have on hand for the big day. Coming from a past event coordinator, Jessica has weddings down to a tee! I wasn't sure I would actually relax on the wedding day - but with this team I was able to! Thanks to Samantha, Jessica & the entire team we had the most perfect day, from first look to the late night station. If you needed a sign to book this venue, THIS IS IT!My husband and I got married here on April 14th and we are still raving about it due to how incredible this venue was. From the waitstaff to the overall ambiance of the ballroom, this venue is a JAW DROPPER in every way.When we first started looking for a wedding venue, finding a place that actually cared about our day was our priority. If we are going to spend the money, it has to be with a place that actually cared..This place did that and more.When we were first looking for a wedding venue, my husband was deployed so I was looking by myself. The event coordinator, Samantha, made me feel so at-home, answered all questions I had, & let me take as many photos/videos I wanted. Jessica, the wedding coordinator, was the MVP for all things making our wedding day vision actually happen. Months leading up to our day, she would reach out with questions so by the wedding day, everything was organized and she knew what we were looking for. If she didnât have the answer, sheâd reach out and make sure what we wanted would happen. I never felt like we were bothering her or asking dumb questions (especially when it came to picking the type of fold weâd have in our napkins). đ Day of our wedding, Jessica was checking in on us throughout the getting ready process all while setting things up with her team. My hair/makeup team had to start at 7 am & Jessica was there wayyyy before us to make sure the getting ready room was open for us with fresh water & extra chairs for the team coming onsite. Not only did she help with setting up everything, she also made sure we stayed on top of the timeline without feeling rushed. Long story short, if we could do it all over again, weâd still pick Renaissance. Jessica & staff are worth every penny. Another happy bride and groom here! We searched far and wide for a venue, we considered so many options. We must have looked into 80+ venues, and couldnât find anything that came close to the Renaissance in the price range they offer. My family and friends continue to talk about our wedding day all the time, and how absolutely gorgeous it was. Many of them have told us it was the most beautiful wedding they have ever attended. We originally put our wedding plans on hold for awhile in 2019 to consider family planning, and then the pandemic hit in 2020. We didnât get married until 2022, and Lana, the Sales Manager/Director, was so incredibly kind to be flexible with us through all of that time.We had a really large vision for the wedding with lots of extra vendors, decor, backdrops, and furniture. Lots and lots of little details. They are truly gifted at executing things so gracefully. I was in awe and kept repeating over and over again how stunning everything looked. The team members we had are all so smart, graceful, and welcoming - â Lana, Sam, Jessica, Gail. It was a blessing getting to work with them. They have tough jobs but they perform them so naturally and flawlessly. Jessica, the Events Manager, was brand new to the Renaissance at the time, but it was clear sheâs a pro in the industryâŠwe loved working with her and our families and friends specifically stated how much they loved her. You want these women by your side on your wedding day! They made me feel so calm and confortable. I miss working with them and I hope to have another event there in the future. It was a beautiful venue with high ceilings and elegant decor located on a golf course. Words alone cannot express how grateful I am to Jessica, our wedding coordinator. She was truly spectacular from start to finish! On the day of the wedding, it was a little cold with a brisk wind. Jessica actually followed my daughter-in-law around with a coat while taking pictures outside to keep her as warm as possible. She made sure that we all had something to eat and drink upon arrival and even fed us the hors dourves herself because our hands were full outside taking pictures! We all had the best time ever and it was all because of Jessica. My son and daughter-in-law had the wedding of their dreams and the day was absolutely seamless. I am forever grateful to the Renaissance and to Jessica. Everyone is still commenting on how gorgeous the venue was and how they had a wonderful time. Not only is the venue gorgeous, but Jessica was a rock star and our wedding ran seamlessly. The venue even was able to accommodate our request for all-vegan dinner. It was so delicious that our guests are still raving about the food (especially the late-night burgers!). The venue has rooms on-site where our wedding party and family had stayed. The rooms were very nice and made for a stress-free wedding weekend, as we didnât have to coordinate traveling between different spots. The bridal suite was the perfect spot to get ready for the day and was plenty spacious for my bridesmaids and my family. My husband and I would absolutely recommend the venue to anyone. To the finish of our daughter's wedding. The bridal suite was so large, to accommodate hair and make up and was a great space to relax in while getting ready with some Prosecco.Jessica the wedding event planner, and her entire team, were so efficient and on top of every detail all day long allowing us all to focus on the big event without a worry.The food from apps to dinner was perfect and so many guests are still talking about it.We can't say enough about the Renaissance as a wedding venue.It was a seamless and perfect day for our daughter , her husband and our family and friends. The day (& weather) was perfect, and so much of that is because of the incredible staff. Samantha who we met with initially to lock in our date and go over the all the details the venue had to offer was so kind and helpful. Jessica the onsite coordinator was absolutely amazing and so accommodating throughout the process. She was always a text away to answer any silly & last-minute questions. She went above & beyond to make the day stress free. Jessica even made sure we ate, too! So many brides & grooms have told us they never got to sit & enjoy their meal. & Jessica made sure we got to have that experience because the day just flies by! Jessica was on top of everything & didnât miss a beat! She is personable and just simply does an impeccable job. Samantha was so wonderful to meet with initially and really went over every detail for what the venue had to offer. Getting closer to the wedding Jessica really took the time to make sure we were all on the same page for everything. Day of we had a last minute change of ceremony placement due to weather and Jessica made the transition flawless with my decorator. She made sure we had no stress all day and really got to enjoy our day. Our guests all said the food was delicious and the venue was beautiful. Being that this was the first event for most of our guests since COVID I was so glad they enjoyed themselves. The venue itself is breathtaking, and the service and treatment match. A month later, my guests are still talking about how delicious the food was, and I'm still talking about how gorgeous our pictures came out. I picked the Renaissance because it had the best indoor back-up option, and we needed to use it due to rain. While the outdoor space is beautiful, in the end, I actually ending up liking the indoor space we used even more. The pictures are beautiful and the guests were extremely comfortable. I can't recommend this venue and team enough - they are thorough, respectful, timely, professional and most of all...fun! Your wedding should be executed flawlessly and the planning process should be full of smiles and laughs...that's what you're getting with Sam, Jess and Renaissance. Book them!!! We continue to hear about how gorgeous it was, how the drinks and apps were flowing and awesome, and more from our guests. Our original wedding date was 6/6/2020, and they could not have been more kind and flexible with all of the date changing the pandemic caused. We felt cared for the whole time and were never caused stress by the venue for Covid issues. There were staff changes (promotions etc.) due to it being postponed so much, but we were always kept in the loop. We ended up having Rachel as our coordinator and she was amazing! She responded to every question or concern, kept our stress as low as possible, and made us feel like royalty for our special day. The guest accommodations and bridal suite were AMAZING! All of the Renaissance staff are amazing, professional, kind, and helpful! Our wedding coordinator Jessica Kulevich was absolutely AMAZING! She went above and beyond and made sure every detail was perfect and took a lot of the stress off our shoulders! Sheâs personable, committed, and does an impeccable job! Samantha Shea was also amazing and such a joy to work with! From the moment we met her and toured the venue she always made sure anything we needed got addressed right away. Gail White is awesome as well! She booked all of our rooms and bridal suites and ensured our family who was also staying the night of our wedding were booked as well. She kept everything organized and is so sweet! Marshall was also incredible! He helped with Jessica and also helped us unload our cars the day before the wedding. He was so helpful and available for anything if needed! The food at Renaissance is INCREDIBLE! Truly the best wedding food we have ever had! The food was exactly what was served at the tasting and all our guests raved about the food! We chose the New England stuffed chicken and prime rib and it was absolutely delicious. The bridal suite is gorgeous and has so much room to get ready in. We had 7 ladies all getting ready with hair and makeup and had so much room! The ballroom was perfect and STUNNING. I didnât have to do a ton of decorations because the ballroom and venue is just absolutely gorgeous. The Renaissance keeps impeccable grounds and flowers and everything was just absolutely perfect! Our other vendors also enjoyed working with Renaissance and everyone complimented all of the staff from the Renaissance. My husband and I couldnât be more thankful to have had our wedding here and weâd do it all over again at the Renaissance! Having the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception on site kept everything really simple and the venue is absolutely beautiful and elegant. Jessica was so dedicated and went above and beyond in every way to make our day go smoothly. Between bustling my dress, wrangling a huge bridal party and golfers, and figuring out how to get the most use out of our decorations, we couldn't have asked for a better person to trust with our wedding. Her entire staff, especially Marshall, were absolutely lovely and the wait staff even danced with us at the end of the night !! By the time we arrived the morning of the wedding at 10am, our decorations were already almost completely set up. Literally my only complaint is that the prices raised slightly between when we booked in late 2020 and our wedding, but they were able to make up for that so it was fine. We had our wedding there July 30, 2022, it was such a magical night. First off, the best thing I like about this venue is you are the only wedding for the day- so you have everyones attention just on your special day. I also liked they have 8 guest rooms upstairs that the people can stay at, we had our wedding party stay overnight! The food was amazing, people were raving about the filet and eggplant! We also did the a late night snack- chicken fingers and French fries and that was a big hit! But most importantly Jessica is amazing to work with - her team of staff is very professional and helpful! Jessica went out of her way throughout the night to make sure my husband and I were taken care of along with my parents. I can't say more wonderful things about the whole experience! We were -originally- scheduled for a May 2020 wedding and we could not be more happy with how flexible everyone was with the multiple postponements and rescheduled dates that we went through! Everything about the venue was absolutely perfect - from the reception in the ballroom, to the gorgeous grounds for our outdoor ceremony, to the bride and groom getting ready rooms. The meal, hors d'oeuvres, and drinks were all over-the-top delicious! The big stand out for us was our day-of-coordinator Jessica. She did absolutely everything she could to make sure that the day went off without a hitch. She was amazing at checking in on both the bride and the groom on the morning of to get us anything we needed. We felt 100% comfortable and at ease knowing that we were in her hands for the day, and as an anxious bride, I felt no stress at all! All of our guests raved at how beautiful the space was and everyone shared how much fun they had. Originally, our wedding was supposed to be July 2020. Due to COVID, we had to postpone our wedding. We had initially moved it to July 2021 but ended up moving the date a second time due to COVID concerns. The Renaissance was very accommodating throughout the whole process! Aside from their understanding and cooperation as we planned and re-planned our wedding due to the pandemic, the Renaissance was also an amazing venue to work with for wedding planning in general. Our meal tasting was a great, personal experience. We were able to taste the options for our dinner with our parents in the private dining room. This individualized attention was one of our main reasons for choosing the Renaissance. Being the only wedding on the property guaranteed the attention to detail that is necessary for such a big and important event. And finally, the club is absolutely stunning. I originally booked this venue due to how nice the facility is, grounds keeping, and ability to really customize my day and not be forced into a cookie cutter look/timeline. They only host 1 wedding a day which was an added bonus. I booked with them pre-COVID. They were very proactive, understanding and flexible in figuring out what we wanted to do. We ended up post poning a year in order to be able to host the reception inside and follow state guidelines. We did end up with a new coordinator Jessica Kulevich and met her just weeks before our date. She and the Sales Director Samantha Shea were so detail oriented to pick up right where we had left off with the previous coordinator. They were so responsive to all my random questions in the days leading up to the day with last minute details. Jessica even helped sew a button on the bustle of my dress. I would highly recommend this venue and staff to anyone looking to have their wedding here. I have got so many compliments after on how nice of a venue it is and how amazing the food was. We were a 3-year couple for them -- we contracted in February of 2019 and originally booked for April 2020, but didn't end up having our wedding until November 2021. Lana and her team worked with us every step of the way (and every re-booking) to ensure we had the perfect day when it finally came around! They were accommodating, and responsive throughout the entire process, and even invited us back for second tasting because it had been so long. Rachel made us feel like it was our first time - I was feeling iffy about the whole \"wedding celebration\" when we had still tied the knot back in 2020, and she reminded me of why we were there and really got me excited about the whole endeavor all over again. Not only is the staff wonderful, but the food is to die for, the space is beautiful and well-maintained, and the separate spaces for the groomsmen and bridal party made it feel like a celebration with our closest friends all day without any of the stress of bopping around to different locations and trying to figure out logistics. I also highly recommend the package that includes the honeymoon!! The incredible hospitality continued through the honeymoon with our stay on their Abaco Island property. I had my ceremony and reception on site and it was honestly the smoothest and most stress free day of my life. Everything that could have gone leading up to my wedding, went wrong. Jessica, the wedding coordinator, was with me every step of the way. She kept track of every change I emailed her, kept me sane and on track, went over every aspect of my wedding with me; twice! I was a very type A bride, and she listened and supported my vision! I felt completely comfortable letting go the reigns, day of, and letting Jessica make my day magical. I got ready in the bridal suite; food was sent up and she checked in every hour to make sure if I needed anything I had it. Ceremony; handled exceptionally, all our vendors knew where to go and when, she helped the wedding party know exactly where to go and when. Pictures; Jessica personally came with us, driving us around t the different locations with our photographer, and making sure we got every photo we wanted. Reception: she made sure we ate, food came out on time and delicious, the room looked BEAUTIFUL. The hired staff for the night were on top of every need we had. Drinks flowed effortlessly all night, and at the end of the night- we stayed over in the hotel rooms on site. She had food sent up and left us cake and ice cream in the room because she notices we didn't get any. Overall the Renaissance was the perfect venue. Beautiful inside and out, the staff were attentive and always on hand to assist, the food was delicious. People remarked to us constantly over the few weeks after that it was one of the nicest, smoothes, most lovely weddings they had ever been to. I had the pleasure of working closely with Rachel and Samantha, who both worked so hard to make sure my wedding day vision became a reality. With multiple meetings and prep work, we were able to work together so the whole day went along seamlessly. The staff was so kind and accommodating to all our wants and needs. It was amazing to wake up the morning of my wedding and not have a single worry regarding the setup. The Renaissance employees collaborated with my outside vendors and guided them perfectly during setup. For our late August wedding the grounds were breathtaking, and we have so many beautiful pictures outdoors and on the course! Our guests still rave about the delish food and drinks they enjoyed during our reception! I actually looked at probably all the venues possible in MA ( at least that's what my sister would say) and when so we had to postpone and Renaissance was just everything that we were looking for! The indoor and outdoor space is just beautiful and was just perfect for us. Lana and Rachel were super accommodating throughout the whole process and don't know how the day would've been possible without them! We had a few extras that we wanted for the wedding and really went above and beyond to get everything we wanted. Throughout our wedding day, they both checked in on us regularly and made sure we had the best day. There was one hiccup that happened during our reception that I didn't even know about until afterwards and Lana handled it so well!We definitely could not imagine getting married anywhere else! The Renaissance was SO accommodating and helpful during this time! They ensured us a spot up to a year out, which we got without issue, and were very communicative throughout the whole process. Any questions I panic emailed/texted them were answered with kindness and patience, which was just so comforting as a pandemic bride. They even went through some turnover on the Wedding Planner staff, which would have been something that caused me increased worry if they hadn't been so open and confident about their choices. And we're so glad we ended up with the Wedding Planner we did! Rachel was a LIFESAVER. Needless to say, the 2021 wedding went off without a hitch and the venue played a huge roll in making our day special. We were lucky enough to have the venue to ourselves all weekend so we could rehearse, stay over the night before and night of and really felt like it was OUR wedding weekend! Our wedding guests was blown away at the beauty of ballroom and the entire grounds. Renaissance was so accommodating to have our after party and day after brunch on site and the entire staff went above and beyond all weekend. Renaissance was truly able to provide the exact vibe we wanted all weekend and no matter what request I made the answer was almost always yes and if it wasn't, they were able to find a solution. Jen the coordinator was so wonderful every. single. step. along the way and truly made our dreams come true, during a pandemic (including rescheduling!). She was so patient with every questioned I asked, and made us feel so cared for throughout the whole process. She also went above and beyond our expectations even just being an emotional support throughout the day (in addition to all of her coordination duties). Her positive, can-do attitude absolutely MADE our day. Also, Jenn, one of the managers was also amazing too. She was also just fantastic and I can't even put into words how taken care of and at ease they both made us feel throughout our wedding day.Beyond the amazing staff, the food was delicious (our guests still rave about it!), the set up was amazing, and the golf course views were impeccable. First, we were a pandemic couple and had to move our wedding by a year. They made that process so unbelievably easy. As I went through the planning process, they were helpful and on top of everything when I wasnât sure what step to take next. The food at the Renaissance is remarkable. By far, the best wedding food Iâve ever had, and I promise Iâm not biased. Every fish was flakey and buttery and the stuffed chicken breast was succulent and juicy. The hors dâoeuvres at cocktail hour were amazing â and they made sure to bring some out to us as we were taking pictures. The grounds are stunning with so many places for photos. The flowers around the ground are simply stunning. The ballroom is spacious and the high ceilings make so grand. They do all of the setup and tear down for you, including all decor. Being able to stay there after the wedding made everything so easy. The staff at the Renaissance must be the best in the area. They are some of the kindest and more genuine people Iâve ever worked with and are just so good at their jobs. I cannot recommend The Renaissance enough. They will make your wedding beautiful and effortless. Youâll be able to focus on your wedding and marriage rather than any logistical concerns. Jen, the wedding cordinator, and all of the Renaissance staff made our wedding day one we will never forget. We did not have to worry about a single thing! From start to finish it was absolutely perfect. We had to change our original wedding date because of the pandemic, and Jen made that difficult decision so easy! She was so attentive & we truly could not have done this without her! The staff at the Renaissance were so professional & kind. We met some of the most genuine people, and it was such an honor to work with them! Our families stayed 2 nights in the beautiful club rooms & I was able to have my hair and makeup done right in the bridal suite. Our wedding photographer had multiple locations to take breathtaking photos. Our intimate ceremony was held in the courtyard and the reception took place in the gorgeous ballroom. From start to finish the staff at the Renaissance treated us like family and was SO great to work with (especially Lana and Jen D). They made the planning process easy and stress free by being very accommodating to special requests (making a special meal for myself on wedding day, allowing us to change the type of cheese from feta to Gorgonzola on our salad choice, and last minute seating changes) and answering every email in a timely matter. On the day of our wedding they (Especially another woman named Jen) were very attentive and made sure to check in that everything was going smoothly. We got so many compliments on how beautiful the venue was, how awesome the food tasted and how well organized the reception took place. We would not change a thing about the entire process. We worked with Lana when touring the venue initially, and she did a great job at getting us all the information we needed to make the decision. We then worked with Jen on all of the planning. She was absolutely fantastic, and was always available via email (my preferred communication format). All of my questions were answered promptly and she explained things along the way to me, all while keeping a friendly demeanor. From rehearsal to the wedding day, everything ran perfectly. I stayed in one of the suites the night of my rehearsal dinner, and the accommodations were great. We got ready there, and although I was right upstairs, the staff took care of setting up everything and all of it looked fantastic. We got married on the grounds there, which was lovely, followed by photographs on the golf course (which I canât wait to see). The food at the reception was very good, and guests raved about many of the appetizers/other meal options that I didnât get to try. They even took down everything and organized it neatly for me to pick up. Jen and Lana were both there helping to coordinate, and they were rockstars! Jen even made sure we sat down to eat/had drinks etc. Everyone was great to work with. All in all, I cannot recommend this place enough for those planning a wedding. Our initial meeting, we were met by smiling faces, a warm atmosphere and environment that was accepting to all. The food was outstanding, the rehearsal was exciting, our ceremony/reception was orchestrated as planned and the brunch the following morning was delightful. We also received several hugs from the staff throughout our stay. A special thank you to Brianna (Personal Attendant) & Jen D. They were attentive, caring and went above and beyond our expectations. Jolie C(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 29-06-2019 We had a two year engagement and decided to book the Renaissance with very little idea of our vision, but we wanted something all-inclusive to minimize stress. We originally were working with Holly, but she left, and were a little nervous to transition to a new coordinator. However, Jen was SO accommodating and spent a significant amount of time answering our questions in the months, weeks, and days leading up to our big day. Jen and her team did an incredible job helping set up our decor (even with the possibility of rain, her team was ready to flip our ceremony around without hesitation), and took great care of us day-of (they made sure we were fed our apps, signature drinks, and saved our dessert for us in a box). I didn't see the team as much as I thought throughout the day, but we trusted that they were working on the backend (we did have an additional day-of coordinator). We stayed in the honeymoon suite the night of, and all of our belongings (cards, gifts, marriage certificate) were carefully brought back to us. I can't recommend the Renaissance enough for those who want a stress-free day with a team that can take care of almost everything for you. This was a venue I had had my eye on for years, so I was thrilled to tour the facility and see that it truly is as beautiful in person as it appears in pictures. The building has been beautifully maintained and is clean, elegant, and homey. The grounds are stunning and were perfectly manicured on our wedding day and every visit we paid to Renaissance prior. It didn't take more than a couple minutes on the drive home to decide this was the perfect venue for us. All the pre-wedding planning was flawless. The staff was responsive and helpful in helping us make decisions on everything from meal choices to napkin colors and even helped nail down a schedule for the day. They are true professionals and it shows in their exquisite attention to detail. Brianna was an angel sent from heaven leading up to our day and on the wedding day itself. She was constantly checking in to see if I needed anything, to make sure every aspect of the day went smoothly, and even feed me pesto chicken flatbread pizza in between post ceremony pictures (legit, this girl is queen.). She even bustled my dress for me! She is by far the most amazing wedding coordinator and lovely human being I came across in my wedding journey and I genuinely could not recommend her enough. Her entire staff, Lana, the bar tenders, wait staff, everyone was just lovely beyond compare. We had the best day of our lives on October 20th and it was very much in part due to the staff at the Renaissance Golf Club. From start to finish, we had about 3-4 meetings with the venue for planning purposes. The team was flexible with us in booking a package, adding and subtracting fees appropriately based on our needs. Brianna was our point of contact for the majority of these meetings, and she is extremely detail oriented so that you don't have to be! The grounds are beautiful here and the indoor space is well kept and clean. We had a very large guest list- 213 guests to be exact, and all of my fears about space in the ballroom were completely relieved after reviewing with Brianna. She was so patient with us, taking the time to show us in person how she would arrange the tables and dance floor in such a way that the room still felt large and spacious. She made excellent suggestions regarding bar placement for cocktail hour that allowed our guests to flow in and out of the foyer without feeling cramped. She came through on every promise she made- including putting some white pumpkins outside for decoration to tie in my theme. :-) She was by our side on the wedding day, making sure we were well hydrated and fed. She made sure we had time to go out to the bridge on the property to take some of the most romantic photos I've ever seen, and even fixed the bustle on my dress with a safety pin!!! My husband has some severe food allergies and every precaution was taken to ensure he had a worry-free evening as well. The food was delicious, and the chef even made my grandmother's apple crisp recipe for our dessert course, which our guests are still raving about. I have no regrets in choosing Renaissance as our wedding venue!!! We toured a bunch of venues before choosing Renaissance. The venue itself checked off all of the boxes. The high ceilings gives it a large ballroom feel while we only had about 100 people. It made for great photos. I also liked that there is a separate area for cocktail hour. However, one bonus that was my favorite was the rooms. We got the bridal suite the night before our wedding and the night of the wedding. I would highly advise this to anyone. It took so much stress off. After our rehersal dinner (which was elsewhere), Brianna was down in the office waiting for th current function to be over. We were able to talk about details that we forgot to mention and ask last minute questions. Talking with Brianna made me feel so at ease. The next morning she had everything set up so i was able to walk downstairs and make any adjustments i wanted. It was nice to be able to see it all start to come together without anyone else there. My bridesmaids and i got ready in the bridal suite which was extremely roomy so we werenât crammed. We were able to order lunch and champagne ahead of time so we didnât have to worry about it. The waitress that brought it up was extremely pleasant! She kept coming to check on us and got us anything else we needed. Also, since they knew we were there Lana came by a couple times to see if we needed anything and to check on a couple things she was working on for the wedding. It was such a relief to know i was working with such nice people and be able to see it come together. There was one fairly negative review for a wedding around the time of ours that could call for some explanation. There was some turnover with who I believe is their lead wedding coordinator. When we went for our tasting, Jen was training Valerie. A few months later we were told that Valerie no longer works there. I feel like they still did not miss a beat. Lana and Brianna emailed me right away saying we would be working with them. They had all of our wedding details in a file so the transition was easy. There were some details I did have to follow up on because they never came up, but anyone who is paying attention to their planning should be asking about them. I could maybe see a 4, but 5 is far too many.I'll start with the good things. The food was very good. We had custom package with a taco station, pasta station, and an ice cream sundae bar. It was all delicious and our guests uniformly loved it. Day of coordination, setup, and decoration by Brianna and Jen was excellent! The venue in general looks great and is laid out well for a wedding.Now on to the bad things. Pretty much everything before the wedding day was a cluster. I think the main problem is that Lana and Brianna are not great communicators, with each other or with others. Our initial contact(s) were with Lana. With Lana, we set up a custom wedding plan with an adjusted open bar. Our next meeting was with Brianna for the tasting. At the tasting Brianna had no idea about most of the details of the custom package, outside of the foods we were tasting. You would think that Lana could give her a copy of the proposal or if she did, that Brianna could look over it for 5 minutes, so that she doesn't give us wrong or misleading information.Also this situation is minor, but I think highlights another big issue we had with Rensaissance, which is that they seem to want to project themselves as classier than is necessary. At the tasting Brianna it was the first time they had done tacos, so it was really exciting. Then, Lana came in and said to not worry because they do tacos all the time and it would be great. I know it sounds silly, but WHY LIE ABOUT THAT? We are a very laid-back and casual couple. Also, I think that Brianna is exaggerating how long she has been there.In general the rest of the time communication was difficult. One example was getting the bar list took 3 emails and 4 days. 3 or 4 days was not an uncommon response time for emails.My due date for half of the remaining balance less deposit was due a couple months before the wedding. The check was either lost in the mail or lost at the venue. In either case it would have been nice for them to tell us that they had not received the money that was due, because I had a check floating out there that should have been cancelled for months. We didn't find this out until the week of the wedding. It was another email thread that was a complete disaster, with too many people and conflicting information.I felt like I had to argue with Brianna a lot, especially at the rehearsal dinner. For example, I thought it was a better idea to have the DJ table in the middle of the side of the dance floor and have the sweetheart table on the corner of the dance floor. I had already told her this a couple times before the rehearsal. We get to the rehearsal and the DJ table is off to the side and the sweetheart table is in the center. It took me getting the DJ and my spouse to back me up before she finally relented and did the only thing that made sense. I would really like to write more examples of this because this was the most frustrating aspect of the whole process, but there is a character limit on reviews here.In conclusion if you are willing to put up with a lot, do a lot of micromanaging, and be very patient (tough during wedding planning), I would say, go for it! Otherwise, it is probably best to look elsewhere. If we had to do it all over again, we would have gone with a venue that was a little less nice, but was easier to work with. Reviewed on 13-07-2018

The function room is beautiful and the grounds made for gorgeous pictures. They also have rooms available upstairs which were very convenient. My daughter and I stayed the night before in the beautiful suite and had all the bridesmaids come the day of the wedding to do hair and makeup. Brianna was our wedding coordinator and she was awesome! She made sure everything was perfect and it was! We had planned an outdoor ceremony but the weather was rainy so we had to have it indoors- Brianna made it look so pretty that we werenât even upset by the change! Gail, also extremely patient, helped my family and I reserve rooms on-site (do this, you won't regret it.) and Brianna was the real MVP. I could go on and on about Brianna and the help she gave us the day before and day of - she was my wing woman and without her I would never have been as relaxed as I was... and you never hear that, right? A relaxed Bride? I haven't even started talking about the ceremony and reception!! Even the serving staff felt like family. The whole day was the best day of my life, and I can say that also speaking for my now husband. The cocktail hour was both inside outside and the reception hall is large and open. There is also a wonderful balcony where they had a cigar bar which was a big hit. The staff were amazing and organized and Jen & Brianna make sure everything runs smoothly. The food and drinks were delicious and our guests couldnt stop praising how fun our wedding was. We got married on August 19, 2017.We scheduled a visit because we really wanted high ceilings for the reception. Holly was very flexible to meet with us and upon arriving, everything was even more beautiful than the pictures. Holly gave us a great tour, was very welcoming and very accommodating. She was able to answer all of our questions and made us feel very confident that the Renaissance would do everything they could to make our day special.Once we booked, Jen reached out and introduced herself as our coordinator. She was very responsive to all of our questions from day one until the day of the wedding. She is very sweet and will do everything she can to make things perfect. She is fantastic to work with.We had an amazing food tasting and loved that we were able to bring both sets of parents.The day of the wedding, there was a wonderful bridal suite attendant, Brianna, who was there for anything we needed. She even found us a steamer when ours broke and offered to bustle my dress for me! She stayed with us during pictures, recommending areas for pictures and taking care of every request. We went out to the bridge after the ceremony (which was gorgeous for pictures) and when we returned, they had appetizers and signature drinks waiting for just the two of us. They have truly thought of everything!All of the food was delicious and they were very mindful of food allergies. One of the other key features is that they have 8 hotel-style rooms onsite. This was one of my favorite parts, because we could get ready onsite and I could go down and take a peek at things the morning of the wedding. Also, my bridesmaids and I could watch our guests arriving as we waiting for the ceremony to start. We had our family and wedding party stay the night of and everyone raved about the venue and ease of just going upstairs after the wedding. Overall, we had the best experience and everyone at the venue was incredibly accommodating and helpful. They take care of everything for you and even things you didn't know you needed! Our guests raved about how beautiful the ceremony and reception were. The venue was gorgeous and the staff, Holly, Jen and Brianna are wonderful to work with. I worked with Holly, Jen and Brianna and they are an absolute power team. They answered my million questions and solved any \"problem\" I thought might occur. The food was incredible and they were able to accommodate any and all requests. I had a last minute problem with the cupcake delivery and they even handled that, all the way down to keeping over 200 cupcakes in their fridge and setting them up (along with the giant candy bar) and everything looked AMAZING! I left for my honeymoon right after and they were awesome enough to freeze the last box of cupcakes for me and I had specifically asked them to save a few hostess cupcakes for me if possible and sure enough I was stuffing my face with them when I got back from my honeymoon. Every request, every detail, EVERYTHING was just taken so seriously. I am beyond happy with the quality of service provided by everyone here and I wish I could have my wedding there all over again because it was an absolutely perfect night. The food was to die for... the hardest part of the entire process was having to narrow down which food options I wanted to go with. We also utilized the suites upstairs and they are gorgeous! We got ready there during the day and they had staff available at all times for anything we might need. I feel bad that I'm forgetting her name, but I THINK the day staff was named Maria.... even the cleaning crew was super nice and always in such a great mood. Like I said, I can't find a single thing to complain about. Some of my guests also ended up renting out the other rooms the night of the wedding and they couldn't be happier. My wedding day was PERFECT and the planning and all that was so easy because Holly, Jen, and Brianna really took care of everything. There wasn't a single request I made that wasn't immediately met and they are just the sweetest group of ladies. My guests still talk about my wedding day- they were just mindblown at how perfect it was and we had a BLAST! We choose to have an outdoor ceremony on site, and the grounds were meticulously landscaped. This level of detail was carried on through every aspect of the venue, from the food, to the setup, and cleanliness of the guestrooms. All the staff were very professional, and Jen was always available to answer any questions during the planning process and up through our wedding day, whether it was by email, on the phone, or stopping in to meet and go over details of the wedding. On our wedding day the staff worked seamlessly with our DJ to make sure the entire ceremony ran smoothly and on time. Following the ceremony the outdoor grounds and first floor of the clubhouse were open to the guests for cocktail hour which provided plenty of space for everyone to gather while pictures were taken on the course. The beautiful views on the golf course provided the perfect setting for pictures, and the venue even provided staff to follow along and point out the best locations for photos. All of our guests (and ourselves) thought the food was outstanding. Many of our family members and friends still talk about the food to this day! The appetizers and entrees were all cooked and presented perfectly. In place of serving a cake we decided to have a chocolate fountain (with fruit and cookies for dipping) which all our guests enjoyed. We fell in love with it but said we had to look at others just for comparison and Holly even gave us questions to ask at our tours with other venues. We ultimately made the decision within a few days to book our May 2017 wedding at Renaissance for many reasons. I was in love with the outdoor ceremony spot while my husband loved that the ballroom was beautiful enough to have as a backup spot in case of rain. The ballroom was also the perfect fit for our Disney themed wedding with the beautiful chandeliers and the gorgeous large windows. Our experience from our first meeting with Holly, to the end of our wedding night with help from Jen and Brianna was exceptional. Jen answered any questions I had even late at night, to multiple appointments to hammer out details, helping our DJ figure out our outdoor music, and planning the logistics to our surprise entrance. Brianna worked so wonderfully with us from the rehearsal with all the details on where the decor would go to helping us find some great photo spots and assisting our photographer for our formal photos. She was even there until the last guest was gone helping us pack up everything we brought so that we could get some sleep to leave for our honeymoon at 5am!We would 100% recommend this venue to anyone who looks at it. The service was wonderful, the food was amazing, and we are still hearing rave reviews on what a beautiful venue it was. It was the first place we went to see based on all of the great reviews, and they were all right. We went on a few other visits, but every time left saying, âItâs no Renaissanceâ! Everything went perfectly throughout the whole process. Holly and her team were incredible. From the first visit to a year later, sheâs still helping us. Any special requests we made, Holly took them into consideration and made it all happen for us! They have a few food/drink options, and Holly worked with us to make it unique to our wedding and within our budget. We keep saying how smooth the wedding process went, but we owe a lot of that to the help, dedication and professionalism of the Renaissance staff. The venue itself has such character- the drive way and lobby for cocktail hour were extremely classy, cozy and romantic. The moment you walk into the ballroom your eyes are drawn up- perfect size for our wedding of about 185. We got married outside and everyone kept saying how beautiful the grounds and ceremony was. They arranged the chairs exactly how we requested, as well. The long walk down the âaisleâ was intimidating at first, but I savored every moment of it and it flew by. Our immediate family stayed in the rooms upstairs both Friday and Saturday nights- extremely clean, comfortable and spacious. Every guest told us how full they were the entire night- between unlimited appetizers and a generous DELICIOUS meal, our guests were happily fed. The night before we dropped off all of our table settings, extra decorations, and little details with our coordinator, who was also wonderful. She set everything out exactly how we requested it, so we had NO stress at all the day of our wedding. I couldnât have imagined going to any other venue. I started my journey off working with Holly, but as planning got under way I worked more with Jen for the details. Jen was very responsive to all my email questions and requests. I wanted to transform the ballroom in an attempt to bring the winter weather inside as much as possible and Jen allowed me to do that as much as possible. The day before the wedding, Jen and Briana spent a lot of time getting specific decorating instructions from me and ironing table overlays! The day of the wedding Briana was a lifesaver when she found my grandfathers medal that had slipped off my bouquet. The day of the wedding Briana was fantastic - she was everywhere I needed her to be; fixing my dress, alerting me to timing, etc. I gave 4 stars because a few of the things that occurred on the day of the wedding. We had warned Jen prior to the wedding that both families were heavy beer drinkers so that the bar could be prepared. Unfortunately towards the end of the night, the bar was forced to serve barely cold and older beer. Also, due to the snow, a few servers failed to show up and our sweetheart table felt the effects of that; our salad plates were never cleared, we weren't served bread until the main course, we were pouring our own champagne, etc. The third reason for the 4 stars I found out after the wedding was over and that was that my photographer was denied her meal while everyone else was eating (no one wants to be photographed while eating). She was told that vendors needed to wait until everyone else was served to ensure there was enough food for them. I was appalled to hear this since I was charged for each vendor meal and therefore it should have been guaranteed there was enough food. On top of that, we had about 15-20 no shows the day of the wedding due to the snow, so there was plenty of food to go around. Overall, I would recommend Renaissance for your wedding. Every single staff member from beginning to end went above and beyond to make sure my husband, my guests and I have the most memorable time. Two staff members that especially stuck out to me was the wedding coordinators, Jen and Brianna. Jen was there from beginning to end helping with my thousands of emails and questions. She was prompt and efficient and knew exactly what she was talking about. Then there's Brianna. I don't even know how to thank her for that whole day. She was constantly making sure I had everything I needed wether it was a drink, my shoes, or chasing after the flower girl as she kept trying to run away. She made sure the whole wedding was on time and kept everyone in sync. She helped calm my nerves and was always there to answer questions or concerns I had. They literally gave me my dream wedding, everything was set up perfectly and exactly how I envisioned it. Not only were the grounds absolutely beautiful and the food delicious (not one compliant) but all the people working there are amazing! I would recommend the Renaissance to ANY bride and groom! The ballroom is absolutely gorgeous and we actually got married in the ballroom due to time of year/weather, and I was completely fine with that! The day of the wedding myself and bridesmaids got ready (hair & makeup) on-site and we had access to a beautiful sitting room on the main floor with lots of natural light--it was perfect!! Brianna was the most incredible staff member, making sure my husband and I enjoyed EVERY moment, she made sure we actually ate our dinner, and she even fed me drinks and apps while we took our photos!!! She made sure my gown was perfect for every photo... Even after hours she brought the rest of our cake upstairs to our suite!!! Jen and Holly were wonderful to work with. I cannot express how stress free these people made our day. I cannot thank them enough. Also, as a bride who had a decent amount of decorations and was not too picky, I let the ladies take the reigns as far as setting up and everything was amazing. The food was killer... planning and organization was easy peasy...I must have emailed Holly and Jen a million times and always received the most rapid responses. But major problems.When the Sales Director sold us the wedding, we told her that we wanted a signature drink involving crown royal whiskey. She quoted $18/person for cocktail hour. When it came time for the invoice, we were told that crown royal is \"super premium\" and $25/person â which meant nearly $1,000 extra. When we pointed out the issue, the Sales Director responded with a rude, aggressive, unprofessional, and angry email, in all capital letters. Ultimately, she relented, but it was nasty. Also, when the Sales Director sold us the wedding, she said that certain fees would be reduced or eliminated since the wedding was in the off season. When we received the invoice, it included the full fees. The fees were corrected when we pointed it out, but both incidents made us wonder if we were being ripped off.The Events Manager is a nice person and also very responsive, but we were constantly frustrated. Our tasting was a disaster. Though the first time we met in person was at the tasting, the Events Manager never introduced herself to us or our family members, never asked anyone's name, etc. It was clear at the tasting that she forgot or didnât know which wedding package we had. We told her prior to the tasting that we did not want to discuss wedding details since our family members were going to be there. Still, she began discussing things like napkin and table options.As time went on, it became clear that the Events Manager was confusing us with other couples. Once she asked us if we were still growing our own flowers for the wedding. We had never planned to do that. She also referenced our bridesmaids and groomsmen on several occasions, even though we only had a maid of honor and best man but no bridesmaids or groomsmen. Everyone makes mistakes, but the Events Manager makes so many that we were often having to check her work and correct her. As one example, she miscounted the meal orders. As another example, she forgot to include wine for the guest tables on our event order, which resulted in an incorrect invoice amount. Things had gotten better by the week before the wedding, until the wedding day. Luckily we had a perfect wedding, but problems continued throughout. The only thing we asked of the Events Manager on the wedding day was to try to find safety pins. This was too much for her to handle, and we had to ask another staffer for them. Additionally, though the Events Manager was told the number of seats to reserve in the front rows for close family members, that was done incorrectly. Luckily we caught it and corrected it shortly before the wedding started. One Renaissance staffer, Briana, is outstanding. Her title is Banquet Coordinator, or something like that. The Events Manager was not available to meet with us the day before the wedding because she was going to her high school reunion. Briana filled in. She did everything right. Then, on the wedding day, she helped out in numerous ways, from keeping the bridal gown looking good and keeping hair in place to decorating to communicating with us to handling the first look. We cannot say enough good about Briana. Lastly, we highly recommend hopping in a golf cart on your wedding day and utilizing the bridges, wooded areas, paths, etc., for a first look and photos. The landscaping was gorgeous for a September wedding! The ball room was breathtaking and all guest commented on how gorgeous and perfect the venue was. Jen and Brianna are amazing! On our wedding day they made sure we ate, drink and enjoyed every moment. They weren't pushy during the reception they provided us with options/suggestions for timing of dances, toasts , etc. Brianna met us when we arrived took us out back for pictures helped manage photographers and bridal party and even fed me appetizers! She also assembled our donut cake which looked amazing! Finding a venue was a stressful projected until we foudn the Renaissance! We are so thankful to have had our wedding there!!! Always prompt and thorough with their responses, helpful when it came to questions and options, and day-of they were extremely helpful keeping everything organized, without being 'in your face'. Renaissance is great because it's mostly \"one-stop shop\" - they handle the food, tables, chairs, linens and even have several overnight rooms you can book. We just had to provide cake, photog, DJ, decorations (and they have candles and the like too). I stayed there both our rehearsal night and wedding night in the beautiful suite. My girls and I all got ready there day-of - it was the perfect amount of space, as there were 10-12 people in and out all day! We even ordered lunch through the Renaissance so I didn't have to worry about keeping ma girls fed!Our guests also raved about this venue. I still hear comments about how it was the 'best wedding food' they've ever had. There are lots of food choices as well, and we had a spectacular tasting to help narrow it down. The bar staff was also great and even commented about how nice our guests were! This venue is beautiful too. Set back from the road, so when you drive down the driveway it really hits you. Emily Zybert(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 21-05-2016 I live 5 minutes from the venue and I had no idea it existed since it is so tucked away in the beautiful wooded area on the Haverhill/Merrimac border and I am SO glad I found it! I fell in love with the ballroom the second I stepped inside. The cathedral ceilings with beams were just so pretty and elegant looking. The whole venue is quite traditional but with a modern flair. The planning process was a breeze. We contracted with Holly & worked with Molly & Jen on all of our wedding details. I work in the hospitality business so was super impressed with how quickly Molly responded to every question I had. The staff overall was extremely responsive, which from my experience can be difficult to find. I had no doubt in my mind that we were well taken care of. They were great at accommodating our special requests regarding some menu/package changes and bar additions, so I am glad they were able to be so flexible. The food was phenomenal & the staff was beyond professional. I have had so many people come up to me since the wedding that said it was the best one they have been to. I even heard a couple of my family members wrote personalized letters to send to their servers because they were so impressed! A plus side to this venue is the Club Rooms on site that our family could stay in overnight. It was great to be able to get ready in the bridal suite and just walk downstairs for the ceremony. Everything was just so convenient so I was not stressed at all the entire day. Even when we were getting ready and my MIL got a phone call that our videographer had a medical emergency, Molly and her team spent the next couple hours on the phone trying to find a replacement for us. I am so happy that we chose the Renaissance for our wedding. The food, drinks, atmosphere, location were so perfect! The 1 suggestion I would make would be in include another 1-2 packages for couples to choose from. They only offer 2 (plus a 3rd \"winter only\" option). Reviewed on 12-07-2016

After originally doing some venue hunting for our wedding, my wife and I chose Renaissance and were extremely satisfied at how well organized and attentive they were. Being a new location, we were extremely surprised by how well they know their stuff. Not only is the venue and surrounding area gorgeous but your guests will be wowed by the wonderful club room and spacious ballroom. Our event manager Molly is one of the most organized and talented planners and coordinators you will ever meet. She runs a well-oiled machine of quick and attentive staff that set up and break down so professionally, you wonât even think about it. The food was fantastic and came out at a reasonable time. The facilities are amazing: gorgeous ballroom, beautiful golf course and grounds. \r\rWe got married on Sat 10/3, hoping for a nice fall day to have an outdoor ceremony, instead we got 40 degrees and windy! But not to worry, the staff set up an awesome ceremony right in the ballroom. Then during cocktail hour, they flipped the room for dinner, seamless to the guests. \r\rMolly and her team made the process so easy. She always kept us informed and involved in the planning process. On the wedding day, they treat you like celebrities! Always making sure you are good and asking if you need anything. When you are out taking pictures they even bring you appetizers and drinks outside so you don't miss out on cocktail hour. (Even fleece blankets to keep you warm during pictures!)\r\rThe food and service was incredible. All our guests raved about the food, very high end entrees with great presentation, nothing like banquet style, very classy. \r\rThe staff from the bartenders to the servers were always on point and everyone was so impressed with the entire production.\r\rOne thing we highly recommend is booking the guest rooms they have on site. They have 8 rooms including a HUGE bridal suite overlooking the golf course. I cannot say enough about the correspondance from Molly all along the way. She was able to accommodate every need or wish we had. \r From the beginning of setting the planning up to the end of the wedding, I cannot express how comfortable Molly made us all feel every step of the way. There was never a time when either Molly or Laura were not available during the reception for anything we needed. Everyone commented on how well it was done. Several people commented on the dinner service and the presentation and plating each table together. The newlyweds are the happiest couple in town. It was the perfect size for out 150 guest wedding and it had a big enough dance floor for all of us! The food was to die for and the service was the best I have ever received at a wedding. Molly and Laura were our coordinators and from the beginning they were excellent. Always on top of everything and so gracious with our special requests. Any problems that came up the day of, they were right there to fix or help out with. Since my now husband and I planned on having the ceremony and reception at the same location we need some place that was perfection both inside and out. The Renaissance had it all from an amazing backdrop of the 18th hole with the grounds landscaped to perfection that set the stage for our ceremony, followed by the most beautiful ballroom with high ceilings and spacious dance floor that allowed us to celebrate until late in the evening. We knew immediately this was going to be our venue. From the moment of first setting up the appt to view the venue to the very end of the wedding day the service as impeccable. Molly, the wedding coordinator was fabulous to work with and was very quick to respond to any email I sent her way regarding any and every question I had in preparing for the big day. \rAnother plus was there are rooms available to reserve which was great since my girls and I could relax and get ready and just head down stairs when it was show time. Molly and her team were aware I stayed there and was getting ready there so they checked in on us throughout the day to make sure everything was coming along seemlessly. It was also helpful because I was able to go down and see how things were coming along with the set up and fix anything (which I didnât need too) if need be.\rLastly I cannot end this review without talking about the food, it was PERFECTION. It was just how we remembered it to be from the tasting. I was nervous as having been to numerous weddings I know how food can go either way, well I can tell you without a doubt there will be no guest disappointed in their food choice. The planning process with Holly and Molly was so easy - they were always just a quick email or phone call away if necessary. They covered every detail and ensured we had a flawless day. The food was amazing, and having the guest rooms on property made such a difference for my family/getting ready! \r\rRight before our introductions, I realized that my grandmother's pin had fallen off my bouquet. The whole staff became on high alert and even went out with a flashlight to search the grounds near where we took pictures. They promised that they would even look through the vacuum dust if necessary! (We found it the next morning on the veranda but the effort that everyone gave in the search was so touching.)\r\rI truly cannot say enough good things about Renaissance. Molly, Holly and the entire staff were unbelievable. From the time we booked the venue up until the wedding night, they were always available and more than happy to accommodate all of our wants, wishes, and needs. The ballroom was pristine and decorated exactly how we discussed. The food and service were THE BEST - all my guests still talk it. The staff at Renaissance are truly professional and went above and beyond to ensure our day was nothing but perfect. I would 100% recommend that if you are considering this venue, you go check it out and see first hand the elegance of the ballroom and meet the staff. As a bride, I needed to feel comfortable that everything would happen as planned - and it really, truly did. I didn't stress once about anything that night because I knew I was in the best hands. The Renaissance has a very large bridal suite upstairs which made it so easy to get ready with all the girls. During cocktail hour, the bridal party and family took pictures in the Bermuda room while the guests enjoyed delicious hors d'oeuvres and drinks. We had our own servers that strictly made sure the bridal party were taken care of and they did an amazing job. You will be so happy and impressed with the Renaissance. We have absolutely no complaints and only positive, wonderful memories of that night. I am so happy with our decision to have our wedding reception there and would 100% recommend you check it out! From our initial meetings with Holly and Molly, to the gorgeous setting and beautiful bridal suite and rooms for our family, we could not have asked for more. They covered absolutely EVERYTHING during our weekend, and the staff (bartenders, waitstaff, cleaning crew) was some of the most professional, warm and attentive I have ever experienced. They thought of things I could never have planned for, and we ended up getting our dream outdoor wedding in April (almost unheard of in Massachusetts) because of Molly and Laura's expert planning and decision making! Every guest was floored by how wonderful everything was and we all raved about the food and drinks from start to finish! From start to finish, the Renaissance provided us with the most professional and amazing experience, and our wedding coordinator, Holly, was absolutely fabulous! Not only are the grounds stunning with amazing flowers and absolutely perfect landscapes, but the interior of the club and ballroom are truly incredible. We loved how the Renaissance gave our guests the option to be both inside and outside during the cocktail hour and reception since we got married in July and had beautiful weather! The appetizers, dinner, drinks & desserts were incredible - our guests still talk about it to this day. We also loved being able to take a golf cart out to a bridge at one of the golf holes and got our favorite pictures from the day in this spot. We never once felt rushed to make any decision during the process and on the day of our wedding. Truth be told, there wasn't a single part of our day and experience at Renaissance that wasn't anything but perfect. The grounds are pristine, the ballroom is gorgeous, and the people are so genuine. It was the perfect fit for our 160 person wedding this past October. From the first email and phone call to the last, the attentiveness and helpfulness of Holly and Molly was impeccable. The day of was a dream. Laura and all the wait staff were with us through even minute, holding toothpicks, wine glasses, bouquets, clutches, you name it! Being the only wedding there at a time makes a world if difference because you're the only one to focus on! The food was excellent, and the accommodations are amazing. My bridesmaids and I stayed there the night before and got ready there and my husband and I stayed the night of. It like a destination wedding without having to go on a plane! Everyone was so friendly and super relaxed, which helped make everything stress free for me. Everyone went above and beyond to make sure that the night went perfectly, and it definitely did! The wait staff was very attentive and the bartenders were an absolute blast!!! \r\rThe ceremony area is gorgeous! They keep everything in perfect condition. There are so many beautiful flowers everywhere! We had perfect weather the day of our wedding so that also helped :) \r\rThe food was absolutely ahhhmazing. People are still telling me how great the food was at our wedding! The presentation of all the food from cocktail hour to dinner and dessert was beautiful. \r\rThe ballroom is absolutely stunning with its high ceilings and beautiful chandeliers. The outside balcony is really great to have too.\r\rThe rooms upstairs are beautiful and the beds are sooo comfortable. The suite is gorgeous and spacious. I love that we were able to stay on site and not have to worry about transportation. Our bridal party stayed the night of as well and everyone just kept complimenting how nice everything was.\r\rPeople are still talking about how everything was just perfect that day and how much fun they had! \r\rI seriously couldn't have asked for a better place to have my wedding, everything was top notch. While the weather did not cooperate with us and allow us to have our ceremony outside it was still a beautiful venue. A great place for a great value. The team is currently in transition from Lana only to other individuals so we felt a little left out at times. For instance we did not get any drinks or anything to eat during cocktail hour, and we were a little lost where we could go for our pictures outside. Melissa, Lana and their entire team were fantastic, they pampered our bridal party and treated us amazing. Everything was exactly what I asked for. The ballroom was gorgeous, the service was fantastic. Everyone said the cocktail hour outside was amazing and everyone raved about the food. The entree was utterly amazing and the venue was beautiful. However, there were many details that were missed that for the amount of many we paid should not have been missed. Lana had been wonderful about answering questions and meeting with us before the wedding. The week before the wedding we met with Lana to finish last details. Despite that meeting, the chairs were set up in a straight line versus an angle, there weren't enough chairs for all of our guest and the ushers had to go into the dining room and get additional chairs. We had a picture of our grandparents that had passed and asked for them to be on the 2 front chairs during the ceremony, which was never done. They were put on the mantle in the foyer of the reception. We were married on the 18th hole of the golf course and was almost hit with a golf ball twice during the ceremony! We asked for the placecards for the head table to be at their individual seats so the wedding party knew where to sit. They weren't and I had to tell everyone where to sit when we entered the hall, AND they were short a seat so one of our ushers had to pull up a chair at the end of the table! The foyer was not setup to how we decided and people missed the signature frame. The coordinator took away the gift card box so early that people were asking my husband and I where to put the cards and then the coordinator was going to each table asking for the cards!!! The salad was completely wrong and some people never got dressing. The entree was 20-30 minutes after the salad and my husband had to ask the coordinator where it was. At this point I guess Lana had gone and we were left with a coordinator we never really met and she was clearly overwhelmed and quite rude. We had requested there be extra of a particular beer because we knew if was very popular with most of the crowd and they ran out towards the end of the night. We also heard comments about the drinks being on the weaker side. We stayed in the rooms at the Renaissance the night before and the night of the wedding. When we arrived the toilet wasn't working and one of our ushers had to fix it with a bobby pin because there wasn't anyone to fix it. It then overflowed the night of the wedding, spilling water all over the bathroom floor. Someone fixed it but left the water on the floor. When I met with Lana to talk about it all she offered me was...\"I'm so sorry.\" Not to mention my bridal bouquet was lost! She said she was going to look for it and hasn't called me since. No follow up call, no follow up card, and my husband still hasn't received the supposed gift certificate that comes with the purchase of the wedding to the golf club. Despite all this, our guests had a blast. I am very disappointed in the lack of concern with the problems we had from Lana and her staff. Because of this, I wouldn't take my chances in recommending the Renaissance. Reviewed on 20-08-2012

Lana was great to work with and all the staff at the wedding were amazing, from the bartenders, to the servers, they were completely professional, yet fun.\r \rWe did our ceremony inside and it worked out great...the ballroom makes for the perfect place to party in too. \r \rThe food was divine...the chef was great and was willing to work with us...I had some ideas that were not part of the standard choices and he was happy to implement them and pulled them off so well. All of our friends and family are still raving about the food.\r \rWe stayed in the rooms upstairs along with our family and some of the bridal party. It worked out very well for us, we had the hair and make up people come to the venue and my mom, bridal party and I just got to relax all morning and just get ready there. The rooms are beautiful and spacious and it was like an all day party before the wedding. \r \rAll of our friends said it was the best wedding that they have ever been to...so I think that is saying a lot as many of them have been to a bunch of weddings...not only was the food good, but the band was great and everyone that was working there was so kind and easy going...I think that really added to the night.\r \rAlso, I can not say enough great things about Lana (the coordinator). She did everything for us and I did not need to lift a finger on my wedding day (or even the day before as we stayed there for two nights). She was constantly checking in on my family and friends to make sure we had whatever we needed...and was ready for anything...including having one of her employees rescue my wedding shoes with some super glue when I lost a rhinestone last minute. She was also great during the planning process, always answering my emails/phone calls in a timely fashion and double checking with me on everything to make sure the day was perfect. \r\rI could not of asked for another thing on my day (well maybe that it didn't fly by so fast). \r\rGood luck with your planning!
