We are so grateful for for David and Katelynn and their amazing venue! Their kindness and love for what they do truly shines through! They put such a personal touch into their business and are so helpful and responsive from beginning to end! It really was a dream come true when they made additions to the venue in between when we booked and our wedding date. It's like they read my mind and saw my vision! We received so many compliments on our wedding and the venue! Also, thank you for the small touch you left in the bridal suite the day of our wedding! Renback Barn was the most perfect venue!! It is absolutely gorgeous and managed excellently by the Falk family. Katelynn was incredibly responsive and friendly. She also pointed us in the directions of fantastic vendors who are very familiar with the barn making our day even more seamless. Our guests were raving about the photos they were taking and how beautiful the barn was. We were married in early October right as the leaves were turning and I would definitely recommend that time! We had a 180 person wedding and everyone fit very comfortably. This place is so perfect and so reasonably priced, I can not recommend it enough!!

The view is amazing, even after some rain and we got some great pictures.Katelynn was a joy to interact with and worked with us in everything. All of the decor that we were able to use from the venue were beautiful. The arbor and the chairs are very pretty. The venue is great because it adapts to your taste depending on your decorations. Overall, it was an amazing experience.

This is long but please read this whole review for an honest take of this venue.To start, the physical building and view from the venue is beautiful. The view of the mountains is gorgeous and the inside of the building is likewise gorgeous. However, the owner (Katelynn) was incredibly unresponsive once we paid her. It seemed like the customer service disappeared once the money had exchanged hands. Promises were made to us regarding them setting up a fire in their on-site fire pit, which they never did. We were told that the owners would be there on the day of the wedding but they were not present at all. We brought smores for our wedding but no one could use them because there was no fire. The refrigerator is from 2006 and broke the day of our wedding so we couldn't keep our food cold, the ice maker also doesn't work and they have no plans on fixing it. Yet both of those appliances were advertised to us as working and available for us to use. If the customer service had been better this place would get five stars, the only reason it gets two stars is because of the physical beauty of the venue itself. If I could go back in time I would book a different venue in the same area to capture the physical beauty. The owners will be very nice, especially at the beginning when they are trying to sell you on the venue itself. Just keep in mind that once the money has exchanged hands there will be little to no customer service and any promises made may very well not be kept. If you want anything guaranteed you NEED to make sure it is in the contract because anything they say they will do will not be honored unless its in the contract. Think long and hard before you book this place.

I personally do not know what their plans are for the future... but if you need a venue to be married... this is VERY affordable considering what others are asking in the Cville area(s).

Not only did I fall in love with this gorgeous venue right away, but Katelyn and her husband have thought through every single tiny detail to make Renback the perfect wedding place. She has been so personable, helpful, and knowledgeable when it comes to all things wedding. On top of it all her and her husband have gone above and beyond during this pandemic to still provide my fiancé and I with everything we need and more to make our day special. She made sure everyone was staying on target with the timelines and I did not have to worry about anything except getting ready.. Beautiful, brand-new venue in a convenient location to NOVA, Harrisonburg, or Charlottesville. Plenty of climate-controlled space inside with tons of seating arrangement options. The view alone makes it worth it! So many great details in the space, including beautiful wooden chairs - none of that plastic folder chair situation at a reception here! Kate and David were a joy to work with, I wouldn't have chosen any other venue.

They include so much with the venue, and the price is so reasonable. I also feel in love with the area too- hiking, breweries, trail rides, wineries, & antiquing. I knew my guest could make a weekend out of it. Renback is the perfect venue for your day!

Renback barn is absolutely beautiful, construction was so close to being done, but you can tell it’s really going to be something special VERY soon!
