A Historic Wedding Venue with Spirit!
The Showroom by Ellison is a wedding venue in the REO Town district of East Lansing, MI. Once a brewery and distillery, this dynamic event facility resonates with couples who dream of making their declaration of love amongst sweet, homey, and intimate surroundings. The Showroom is a two-story loft design venue with a total capacity of up to 300 guests and plenty of indoor areas for exchanging vows, wining and dining, and dancing the night away. Ellison Brewery's downstairs area features a modern warehouse design with cream-brick walls and neutral-colored floors that give any event a casual feel. With the brewery next door and a built-in bar, this ground-floor space is ideal for mingling over cocktail hour drinks and clinking champagne glasses. For the wedding gala, the newlyweds and their guests can retreat to the upstairs area, a large open room with space for any furniture configuration, and a stage for a DJ or teary-eyed wedding toasts. The Showroom also features on-site suites for newlywed preparations or loved ones from out-of-town. The Showroom team does its very best to give couples all over the state the wedding experience of a lifetime. With the help of an on-site event planner, newlyweds can plan their celebration without a worry in sight. Always one step ahead, the property also comes with its own furniture, tableware, and sound and lighting systems. Taylor, Aaron and the Ellison staff were superb in the quality of set-up, service and food delivered to our 35-40 person event. They hosted an MSU graduation party for our daughter and it turned out fabulous! They were flexible and accommodating for us to have the event either upstairs or on the main floor (both floors are so neat and full of character and those staircases...Wow! So amazing!) It’s wonderful that they have different seating options available to select from (round, rectangle and cocktail tables with whatever linens you may wish to have). The food was delicious, hot and fresh - including the pies right from the coolest pizza oven in town! All of the guests loved the place and the food! What a great venue and it’s great that it’s close to campus for any college event you may need to plan for!

Aaron and Taylor and the entire Ellison team provided amazing food and upscale service for my couple. As a wedding planner, they made sure the day of the wedding was smooth for me. Always around to assist and ask what was needed. The custom menu that was served was amazing! The place was clean and ready to go when we showed up to begin production. Would love to be back for more events in the future! I know Aaron has big plans for Ellison and I can't wait to see!

The venue is beautiful; Taylor had everything looking great and running smoothly. Everyone at our holiday party had wonderful compliments on the food as well as the servers. Overall it was definitely one of my favorite events thanks to the exceptional staff!

We hired the Ellison Brewery Venue on Washington in Lansing for my nieces wedding, Our business is called DEZIGN ON A DIME we are wedding and All Grand Events decorators, the venue is such a nice place to hold an event very large upstairs and downstairs. The Manager Taylor was so helpful and Knowledgeable of all of our needs and she was Johnny on the spot with everything that we needed and all questions we needed answered, I would recommend this venue facility for not just weddings but any Grand Events, thank you Ellison Brewery for such a wonderful experience.

Is it possible to say we had a flawless experience? Well we did, thanks to everything Aaron, the owner of Ellison did to help make our reception an unforgettable night. We are big foodies, so the quality and taste of our servings were a priority. Aaron eclipsed our wildest expectations from the sauteed Brussels sprouts to Alaskan-caught wild salmon and dark chocolate chip cookies, which had to be served warm. The venue was lovely and the staff tended to all of our needs. Everyone left with bellies and hearts full. We highly recommend booking your next event with Aaron and his team at Ellison. We know no one else could have done it better.
