Review Wedding date 11/12/23. The venue is very very beautiful and Chef Angela was cool and easy to work with for the most part. Took a minute for her to contact me back to get started on selecting our food choices. Had to reach out to her and Yvette a few times before I got a response to set up a date. The main reason for the 2 stars is the manager Yvette. She is just plain rude!!! Her communication skills are lacking. She completely forgot about our scheduled “final meeting” as she showed up an hour late. The only reason we waited was because she said she would take 25minutes at the most. Ended up being one hour before she made it to us. And then here come the excuses of why she forgot. Save it. We don’t need to hear that. Another thing was charging the cards for the balance. More lack of communication on her part. On 9/20/23 I emailed her to charge $2000 to the card on file. She replied and said okay. Then 10/15/23 I asked her to charge the remaining balance which I thought was just over $2000, but instead on 10/17/23 she attempted to charge $4200 cause she had never charged the previous $2000 I told her to do back in September. She claimed that she “called” and told me but she didn’t. I like to do things through email and text as the proof is there. So that was a whole issue. Then comes the day of our wedding. I had requested a few things such as the heat being turned on, some more light in the bridal suite (very dark up there), and paper towels for the restroom up there. Every time we had a request for something she ALWAYS had a rude or snarky comment!! EVERY! TIME! She has zero professionalism and doesn’t know how to make guests happy! When one of my girls asked if the lights got any brighter she told them “she knew how dim the lights were before she signed the contract, she took a tour so she she should have known.” Even if that’s the case YOU DONT NEED TO SAY THAT! Just say “no I’m so sorry, they don’t unfortunately.” Easy and nice. She didn’t want to give us paper towels to dry our hands…she had more rude comments about that too. I could go on and on about her. If you have a wedding here make sure you have a really good wedding planner that can deal with all her BS! I didn’t and I regret that. And then another thing, yes we did forget to have cash day of for the security guards and officiant, but instead of asking us for that money at 10am when we got there (which would have given us plenty of time to get the money) she hunted us down while we were taking pictures outside with the wedding party just after the ceremony! Like seriously!! Poor timing lady. Luckily the security guard and officiant were very understanding and accepted cash app. The well water is soooo stinky! I’ve been around well water but the water at this place is really really bad! Reviewed on 16-11-2023
Cassidy Prince(bride)1 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 05-09-2021 I'm writing this to save future Brides the stress and trouble that I endured.. The property is beautiful which is why we picked this venue for our wedding but the only reason my day turned out great was because of my vendors. 100% would never recommend this venue to another bride. The manager is going to make the planning process even more stressful than it should be. She doesn't remember/write down what you talk about therefore she'll say one thing then changes it the next moment and makes it then be your word against hers. The Chef and Manager are like divorced parents making you the kid stuck in the middle. They don't communicate making it worrisome that the right meal will even be served. They won't give you an event order to know exactly what you are paying for/getting. So be very careful that they don't sneak extra fees on your bill or after. They don't have enough staff to take care of the property or your event (cleaning, waitstaff, etc) one example being that there is mold in the bridal suite. We ended up having to hire a 3rd party wedding planner to make sure everything went correctly. Overall the property might be pretty in photos but it is not worth the headache so chose a different venue. I would've if I could. Reviewed on 25-10-2021
Anonymous (bride)1 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 08-10-2017 The location itself is very nice, however for the same price or less you can have better service down the street at The ranch @ San Patricio. I got married at the Reserve 2 months ago and it was just a bad experience all around. Communication was just NOT there. You only have the option of reaching one person for all your questions and she never responds back until I message and call multiple times for multiple days. The \"day of coordinator\" was no where to be found almost the entire reception and my husband and I had to run around and try to get everything on our timeline done alone. Needless to say we didn't even get to do our sparkler send off because we had to do everything the coordinator was supposed to be doing. The only upside is I got to marry my wonderful husband. Definitely needs new management Reviewed on 08-08-2016
Norma Lomeli(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 27-06-2015 \rI couldn't have picked a more perfect place to get married. It was everything I wanted and more. I was able to have a rustic theme but remain elegant at the same time. I have guest from all over the country and everyone was very impressed! Beautiful pond and landscaping. I planned the ceremony in the evening to have the perfect sunset for an outdoor wedding. The staff is also very helpful and supportive. They have onsite catering so i didn't need to deal with the hassle of too many vendors. The staff pretty much handled everything for me. I had my dream country girl wedding! It was such a beautiful experience and I wish I could do it all over again!!! I highly recommend this venue for ceremonies and receptions!\r Reviewed on 17-07-2015
Abigail Jones(bride)3 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 15-02-2015 I LOVED this location! The place is so beautiful and it comfortably fit our 400 guests. However, I had such a difficult time communicating with the staff there. I often did not hear back from them and when I did, I received conflicting answers from different staff members.\r\rMy wedding day was beautiful. I just didn't feel like I was a priority for them. I didn't feel like they KNEW me, and that is really sad when the venue is such a large part of your cost. Reviewed on 26-06-2015
