Everything about our wedding was absolutely wonderful! The hotel is right on the Intracoastal waterway and its beauty speaks for itself so I won't say too much about that! From the moment we inquired, we were treated like our wedding was the only wedding in the world! Alejandra was so kind, professional, responsive, and calming. She always listened to our thoughts and what we wanted but also provided us with her suggestions and expertise. She brought our vision to life! She is absolutely in the field made for her and was wonderful to work with. Thank you Alejandra for everything! Ryan, who was our day of coordinator, was also outstanding and anything we needed, he was there. Ryan, thank you! The communication and teamwork between the staff made for a flawless day! The outside vendors we used for flowers, cake, etc. had such nice things to say. The venue and staff's organization made their set ups a breeze! The Chef, who we first met at our tasting, is so passionate about food and drink and it really shows in his presentation and the delicious food he serves. All of our guests loved the food and ate plenty! Our wedding felt like a dream. From the first steps of inquiry all the way to check out at the end of our amazing wedding weekend, it couldn't have been better! We had the most beautiful experience and we can't recommend the Residence Inn enough! We look forward to coming back to celebrate future anniversaries! Thank you again for the wedding of our dreams!

I found the iL Lugano from an online search when looking for a one stop shop wedding ceremony and reception venue. Living in northern VA, I was dependent on pictures and reviews. We loved the pictures of the lobby decor and the room views, and the conference/reception room that had floor to ceiling windows onlooking the intercostal. Loving water and initially considering a beach wedding, when we saw this we changed our mind. Loved the idea of being right over (near) waterway without guests having to walk through sand. From the first person I spoke with and the repore that was immediately built I knew this was the place. The outdoor ceremony site ended up working out well for us. Not planning to have more than 50 guests, it was the perfect size. Chose to have a sunset ceremony which allowed gorgeous views from reception hall as sunset and yachts passed. All staff was VERY accommodating. I, and my planners worked very closely with Rebecca Kendig whose patience, reassurance, and professionalism made this not only a success but one of the best days of my life! I am very grateful to Rebecca and her staff. Every single person was on top of everything (special thumbs up to Carly for that pre ceremony mojito!) and made the day seamless. Oh, and before I forget I must say something about the accommodations and food. All my out of town guests stayed at the hotel and LOVED it! Not only were the rate incredible, but the comfort level could not have been better. Rooms are incredibly clean and beautiful. One would not expect that for cost. Also in a great location as walkable to the beach as well as entertainment (we loved Billie jean Blues). What can I say, the whole experience totally but pleasantly caught me off guard. Food provided by da Campo Osteria and Chef S Acosta was PHENOMENAL. Everything cooked was perfection! I really can't say enough ....

This boutique hotel is perfect for prepping for a wedding. Each room is spacious with kitchens and the suites are HUGE! I even had my bachelorette weekend here and had the best time.

This hotel is fabulous and perfect for intimate weddings!\rI had my wedding ceremony in the small garden by the pool, looking onto the Intracoastal Waterway at 5pm and it was perfect.\rI booked it via email as I planned it all from the UK. My husband to be went to look around and meet the Sales Manager Peter and based on what he said we decided to have the ceremony here.\rPeter Waxon was brilliant and helpful all the way through the organising. It cost around $600 to have the use of the use of the garden from 1500-1800 hours.\rWe stayed at the hotel for about 4-5 nights and I met Peter for the first time a few days before the wedding. We had lunch in the hotel Italian restaurant (food amazing) and discussed final plans and arrangements. \rAll the staff from Bellman to housekeeping were friendly and professional. We were made to feel special!\rThe hotel rooms are lovely and modern and we were upgraded to a large suite with an amzing view over the Intracoastal. My family who stayed and a few guests were all pleased with their rooms. We had a nice bottle of fizz and chocolate covered strawberries in our room when we got back from the reception.\rI would definately recommend this hotel if you want a small wedding. We had to rent chairs and an arch from a rental company as the hotel do not do many wedding but the cost was minimal, and the hotel decorated the arch for us for free. I did not see the function room on the top floor as we chose to have our reception elsewhere.\rEven if you are looking for a hotel to stay and not a wedding, then I would totally recommend this place. The rooms are lovely and have kitchens as they are suites so you can home comforts.
