Rhodes on the Pawtucket is a historically rich wedding venue based in Cranston, RI. With its roots dating back to 1915, this setting has been carefully restored and maintained to celebrate its original charm. Its spacious, elegant ballroom and lush outdoor space add a sophisticated, romantic aesthetic to any couple's big day. In the ballroom, you will have 10,000 square feet of floor space to create your dream day. Inside features elegant hardwood floors, vintage architecture, and customizable uplighting to create any atmosphere you want. Your DJ or live band can set up on the multi-tiered stage, where Your guests will be welcome to mingle on the mezzanine floor, where they can watch your dances and performances from a bird's eye view. You will also have access to the foyer, which features a spacious bar area for your loved ones to enjoy their cocktail hour. Just outside the ballroom is a flourishing, waterfront area where you can enjoy your photo session. Two separate get-ready suites are available, for you to prepare for the altar in style and comfort. The team will connect you with their list of trusted vendors, from caterers to photographers, to help you complete your dream day. Tables, chairs, and linens will be provided for your ceremony and reception. The in-house team of bartenders will be present during your big day to provide your guests with delicious beverages and cocktails. We had our dream wedding at Rhodes! Hillary was incredibly helpful from the start to the end of our planning process. We had a number of specific requests and cultural elements that we wanted to integrate and Hillary was incredibly accommodating to them all. She helped us to plan other elements of the wedding too - from recommendations for a band, to being flexible on our bar package, to suggesting the best layout and setup of the venue for our wedding. The unique history and architecture of the venue is unmatched - all of our guests remarked upon how stunning it was. We were also able to save a ton on decor because we were able to use some decor from the venue and the gorgeous setting didn't really require much. Despite the torrential downpour of rain on the day of the wedding and last minute surprises, the staff at Rhodes worked really hard to make our wedding day as smooth and seamless as possible. The cost of the venue was also incredibly affordable for the quality of service that we received. My only (slight) issue was that it was sometimes difficult to get in touch with the venue when I had questions and I wished there was more of an easy way to have a record of our prior conversation through an online system, like some of our other vendors. However, Hillary did an amazing job of communicating with us when she was available and again, was very accommodating, kind, and helpful. I highly recommend this venue to anyone, particularly those who are on a tight budget and want that old school charm and elegance!

Everything was beautiful! Our guests were raving about the aesthetic and architecture. The bar tenders were fantastic. Our signature drinks were delicious! Hillary was great. She was very helpful o the day of the wedding making sure I was comfortable and having a great time while also making sure every detail was perfect. Would most definitely recommend to anyone looking for an elegant venue without paying an arm and a leg. The preferred caterer, Ralph’s was also incredible throughout.

Rhodes is a beautiful venue and the bridge behind the building made for beautiful photos. Overall, we had a positive experience - they had sparkling wine waiting for the bridal and groom parties and the space was stunning. The bar staff was excellent and we had great conversations with the manager, Hillary. Unfortunately, I think some of our requests were forgotten in the shuffle of a busy wedding season which resulted in a surprise bar bill issue that made it all the way to me, the bride, on my wedding day. It definitely left a sour taste and was upsetting.Overall, I would recommend Rhodes, but make sure you have records of conversations, and confirm multiple times on what has been agreed upon. It was still affordable for how stunning the venue was and other than the bar issue, everything was positive.

Rhodes on the Pawtuxet is an absolutely beautiful venue! It was such a pleasure to have our wedding in the historic Rhodes - it is certainly not the typical wedding venue site. We were able to have our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all in one place and safe to say our guests were \"wowed.\" Also, there was torrential downpour on the day of our wedding and our photographer found so many absolutely beautiful and unique spots to take pictures inside. Not only is Rhodes absolutely gorgeous, but the staff is wonderful! Hillary and Jenn were so warm and welcoming during the touring and booking process, which made the stressful process of replanning a wedding due to COVID all the easier. Hillary was with us the entire wedding night and played such a huge role in setting up the venue to make sure it was perfect and also helped with every little step along the way. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a unique venue with a fantastic, warm, and helpful staff!

I cannot say enough good things about this beautiful venue and the staff they have! We worked closely with Maggie and let me tell you, this woman is a GEM. She was the key they made our wedding flow so nicely. I had a lot of ideas and visions that some may say were out of the box, but Maggie made sure everything came together exactly how I envisioned. She worked closely with all our vendors to make sure everything was one cohesive vision. On the night of our wedding, the place looked INCREDIBLE. We got so many compliments on how beautiful the space was. Also, all of our guests raved about the food and said it was some of the best they have ever had at a wedding! I would highly recommend Rhodes on the Pawtuxet to any bride and groom!

At times I was definitely a “bridezilla” more than a “bridechilla”, but Maggie handled all of my questions, concerns, changes, and high standards with grace. She did go above and beyond to make our wedding day more than we could have ever imagined. The venue looked incredible and although Rhodes has hosted many events, even our wedding planner said “I had no idea Rhodes could look this beautiful”. Our DJ who has done over 1000 weddings said the venue was outstanding and by far one of his favorites so far. Thank you Maggie for helping make this Rhode Island classic sparkle and shine! You are amazing and I’m so glad you don’t need to worry about me filling up your inbox anymore. Thank you!!

Rhodes on the Pawtuxet was the most amazing place for my husband and I to get married. It's a beautiful space, and has a lot of different options for couples with varying price points (which we greatly appreciated). The General Manager at Rhodes, Maggie, is the best person to help you with your wedding planning. Maggie guided us along the entire process from picking table linens to helping us come up with a timeline for when to send out wedding invitations and when to request RSVPs be turned in by. She is an absolute rock star! We used several of her recommended vendors, and they were all fantastic. Maggie coordinated set-up and breakdown with all of our vendors to ensure that everything went smoothly on the day of the wedding. She was there the entire day with us, giving me a helping hand (literally) to get up stairs to take photographs and bringing us drinks in the bridal suite after our ceremony.We had such an amazing wedding day, and it was all due to Maggie's help and organization, the fantastic food from Russell Morin, and the beautiful venue at Rhodes. I cannot recommend Rhodes enough. Honestly, a perfect place to get married!

I could not be happier with this venue. We were looking for a large space with high ceilings and hardwood floors and we found The Rhodes through The Knot. We worked with Maggie and she was SO easy to work with, so quick to respond, and really made everything about our wedding from day one of planning to the day of the wedding so smooth. We had a lot of unique requests for our wedding day, but she made them happen. The food was AMAZING and so was the staff working the event. Not to mention that the space is absolutely gorgeous!! I truly have no complaints. I highly recommend them; I wish I was planning another big event so I could go back again!!

A beautiful, historic venue run by an amazing staff. Maggie, our planner and coordinator anticipated all of our needs and was so well prepared and organized that we were truly able to be guests at our own wedding. Rhodes is owned by Russell Morin Catering and their food was phenomenal. They even accommodated a few of our requests to go off menu. Would recommend in a heartbeat!

Maggie Shields at Rhodes on the Pawtuxet is my hero! My fiance, I mean husband, and I were so amazed at how smoothly our wedding went on 1/19/19. Not one thing went wrong and that is in large part to Maggie. She was calm and kind throughout the whole night. She ensured that our glasses were always full and that we were always aware of our timeline. I had the absolute best night of my life. My guests enjoyed the food immensely. The venue looked stunning for both the ceremony and reception. I trusted Maggie to use her best judgement in the planning of placement for many of my decorations and she did not disappoint. Rhodes worked with my budget and went above and beyond my wildest dreams. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Do not hesitate to book your event here it will be worth it! Also the new wedding coordinator at Rhodes I believe her name was Rebecca, but I could be mistaken, was equally amazing and sweet!

My husband and I were married at Rhodes on the Pawtuxet on August 4th and we still have not stopped smiling about the day since. There's not much to say about how STUNNING the venue is, because you will see that immediately upon entering the building (our guests were in awe). The true value of this venue is Maggie (the coordinator) and the staff at Rhodes. Maggie was with us through every bit of planning and was the most helpful coordinator that a stressed bride could have asked for. She made sure every detail was PERFECT on the day of, and truly went above and beyond for us the whole way through. She followed us around with hors d'oeuvres and drinks while we took our pictures, organized all of our other vendors, and was so pleasant the entire time. Looking back, we could not picture our day without her. All of our family can't stop talking about how wonderful she was, and our guests have not stopped complimenting the service (and the food) at Rhodes. I truly cannot say enough about this venue and encourage anyone who is considering a wedding here to visit ... you won't be disappointed!

We absolutely loved Rhodes on the Pawtuxet for our wedding on 7.21.18. Maggie was our coordinator and could not have been more helpful, lovely, thoughtful, and amazing to work with. She was extremely organized and willing to do pretty much anything to help us make our day as special as it could be. She was also very responsive to any questions, which we found so helpful trying to manage so many different vendors. The day of our wedding Maggie made sure my husband and I were kept in the loop of all the adjustments before the ceremony began and frequently checked in to see if we needed any refreshments. After the wedding our guests commented on how amazing the food was and how lovely the wait staff was. Everything was absolutely perfect for our wedding and I couldn't recommend Rhodes on the Pawtuxet more! We truly had the best day ever thanks to Maggie and her staff.

The venue was truly unbelievable! We are extremely pleased with how our wedding turned out! The staff was wonderful and helpful. However, I do have some things to share when considering this venue.A. Be aware that there are many things that are not included if you don't go with the all inclusive. We had to pay extra for up-lighting, colored napkins, chairs, GOBO, chandeliers....B. The on-site outdoor ceremony area is nothing to write home about. We settled for having it inside and it turned out to be absolutely beautiful.C. Food was amazing! However, we had to pay extra for certain hors d'oeuvres and entree options. Again, we were extremely happy with how our wedding turned out . Just be careful because different options and add-ons hike up the cost significantly!

We fell in love with the visual aspects of the venue immediately and did not see anything even remotely comparable during our search. The gleaming hardwood floors and spacious layout won us over, and the lighting installation was so gorgeous that even pictures taken on cell phones are stunning (can't wait to get our professional images back!). We received endless compliments from our guests, many saying they had never been to a more beautiful wedding. The best part is, the beauty of Rhodes is not weather-dependent--you could have a your wedding in the middle of winter with ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all indoors in unique, beautiful spaces.Our experience working with Jessica was seamless, professional, and delightful. She gave us the sense that everything was taken care of. She was with us the whole way from booking until the day of the wedding, efficiently communicating with us to confirm important details during the planning process to calming my nerves before I walked down the aisle and making sure our card box was in a secure location during the reception. She was extremely thorough; great at her job. With a late-booking discount, the Rhodes package price was on the low end of the venues we looked into and the quality of services on the high end. However, I take issue with the inflated prices of the wedding industry in general; we spent what I view as an exorbitant amount of money for the actual goods and services received. So with the caveat of \"wedding venues are insanely expensive,\" we would rate Rhodes as having very good value. All in all, we would highly recommend Rhodes on the Pawtuxet. Extremely visually appealing, top-notch professional service, the best day of our lives.

If you're looking to get married, do yourself and your guests a favor and get married here. My husband and I were married here on October 7th and could not possibly have had a better experience. Working with Jessica was a dream; she was so easy to talk to, caring, and clearly extremely experienced. She did everything in her power to make us have the perfect wedding. It seriously was flawless.Rhodes on the Pawtuxet is a stunning venue with gorgeous hard wood floors that reflect the fairytale-like lighting beautifully. It was like walking into a dream. Russell Morin is their caterer and I 100% can see why; their food was absolutely to die for. There was a tasting event for all couples in February, where we were able to try most of the many menu options and we were not disappointed. On the day of the actual wedding, the food was even better. We had the filet mignon and a chicken dish, as well as many amazing hor d'oeuvres. Many of our guests told us their steak was the best they've ever had. My favorite appetizer was the buerreck, which was kind of like a spanakopita. My husband's was clam cake and chowder shooter or the mini beef wellington. We had three passed desserts, which also got a ton of compliments, particularly the dough boys.So many people told us that we weren't going to get to eat on our wedding day, but they were very, very wrong. Jessica personally delivered many platters of hor d'oeuvres to us while we were taking photos during the cocktail hour. We had a personal server at our sweetheart table who made sure we were eating and had everything we needed. She brought us drinks and took great care of us. Throughout the night, we had servers going out of their way to make sure we got desserts. We could barely move. I also heard from many of our guests that their servers were incredible. Bob and Barb, the married couple, were charming and well-loved by everyone.Everything we possibly could have needed was taken care of. I asked my husband what else I should say and he said, \"It's hard to think of things to say when everything was flawless. Everything was perfect and it was crazy good.\" I think that sums it up well.

Rhodes was a GORGEOUS venue to have my wedding. We had 150 people which felt perfect in the space. Working with Jessica was incredibly effortless and she was unbelievable the day of. I would not change one thing about my day, and most of that had to do with it being at Rhodes. This place is unique, historic and is absolutely stunning if you want something a little bit different. Very glamorous and classic. We were incredibly lucky as we were the first wedding that was able to experience the remodeled lighting. WOW is all I can say to that.I just have to say something special in regards to the food. The menu was custom made for us as we wanted serving stations, and when I say people raved, they RAVED. People ate so much they needed a minute before they were ready to dance. The food was exceptional. My guests still say that they cannot pick their favorite thing from the day, because there were so many amazing elements, which is the highest compliment I feel I can receive as a bride. Jessica and Rhodes had a huge part in that, so thank you Jessica!

We loved having Rhodes host our wedding. First off, the packages they offer took a lot of the stress out of the whole process right from the start. Jessica was our coordinator and she was great as well. We had a lot of random requests and she was able to accommodate all of them. My groomsmen also aren't the easiest people to give direction to but Jessica had them all falling in line. The food was great and we loved the way the space turned out after all the choices we made. It sounds cliche, but we really wouldn't change anything about our day and a big thanks goes to Rhodes for that.

THANK YOU Rhodes on the Pawtuxet for making our wedding absolutely perfect. We got married in May 2017 and Jessica Krasner made sure every single detail was as I wanted it. Rhodes was so easy to work with from the very beginning, with Jessica promptly responding to every \"bridezilla\" email I came up with. She was open to our crazy/creative ideas, including having cornhole in the ballroom! She even made sure I always had a drink in hand and food on my plate/mouth (read: put a grilled cheese late night snack in my mouth to make sure I got a taste!) The venue is absolutely gorgeous and our photos are breathtaking. Everyone was so happy with how fast the bar service was (we had a wedding of about 200 guests) and raved about the food and late night snacks. You should not hesitate about booking this venue, it will be easiest part of wedding planning.

Words can not begin to describe how amazing Maggie and her team are! From the beginning she has responded to any email or question I had very quickly. The day of she blew me away. My venue was breath taking and she was right by my side with anything I needed. She even gave me her personal wine cup with lid so I wouldnt get sangria on my dress. I can't recommend Rhodes on the Pawtuxet more. I will forever be greatful for all of her help! If your undecided on your venue it's Rhodes on the Pawtuxet!!! The venue speaks for itself!

My husband and I were over the moon about this gorgeous space! The historic element is exactly what we were looking for for our wedding day. It has beautiful character and our guests had plenty of room to move around. Maggie and Jessica made the process of planning stress-free and fun! It was simple with the expertise given and the talented vendors recommended. The staff was amazingly friendly which was much appreciated with all the excitement of the day. We could not be happier about our decision to be married at Rhodes on the Pawtuxet and highly recommend this venue to any couple getting hitched!

It may be a bit delayed as we got married October 2016, but I still can't stop raving about how wonderful our reception at Rhodes was. From start to finish, Jessica and the team at Rhodes were marvelous. Jessica was always on point, eager to help, and quick with responding to a stressed out bride that sent lots and lots of emails (which is no easy task!) Jessica took care of everything and really helped to ease our minds throughout the process, and especially as we got closer to the day. As we are approaching our 1st Anniversary, my husband and I are still getting compliments about the venue, the friendliness of the staff, the amazing food, and overall ambiance that Rhodes provides. Jessica even worked with my father on arranging a surprise for myself and my now-husband - Portuguese folk dancers! My husband and I were so surprised, and she did a fantastic job of keeping that big secret from us! For anyone who is considering Rhodes as their venue, I hope this review helps to make your choice! You won't be disappointed, and I can almost guarantee that even after months your guests will still be talking about it :)

Everything about our June wedding at Rhodes on the Pawtuxet was perfect. Jessica was our wedding coordinator and made sure every last detail was squared away, I really didn't worry about a single thing on the day of my wedding because I knew the professional team at Rhodes would have everything handled! Russel Morins catering is amazing, the food is always delicious from beginning to end (I've been to multiple weddings and events where they have catered; never disappoints!)The decor and the building itself is unlike anything I've ever seen before, which is why we fell in love with it in the first place. The new makeover with the draping is spectacular, truly unique, and our guests are still talking about how beautiful it was over a month later. Thank you Rhodes for providing us with an unbelievable wedding we'll never forget!

Our wedding day at Rhodes was PERFECT! Maggie was extremely helpful and accommodating on our wedding day as well as our rehearsal. She did great with our items we brought in the week of the wedding. She helped us with a lot of quotes because we kept adjusting what we wanted to fit our budget. The food was exquisite and the mango chicken was better than anyone could imagine. The cake done by Russel Morin was funfetti for us and beyond delicious. The only reason it's 4 stars and not 5 is because there were just some times my wife and I felt like we weren't a top priority for Rhodes. We do understand there are tons of weddings, but you want to feel like the most important, especially with the money you spend. Most importantly though, and it can't be stressed enough, is our day went perfectly start to finish.

We loved the Rhodes! Jessica was absolutely fantastic and with my wife and I every step of the way. She was extremely helpful from the get go and was always available, able to answer questions and guide us through the big and small details/decisions. The Rhodes was everything we wanted and more. The cocktail hour and reception was such an amazing celebration and our guests had an incredible time. The food was absolutely delicious and we could not have asked for anything better. Rhodes on the Pawtuxet was an amazing choice for our daughter and son-in-law's wedding reception on July 9th of this year. The venue itself is spacious and architecturally beautiful, very elegant. However, more impressive than the lovely venue was the professionalism of the staff. We had been told by friends that planning a wedding was stressful and at times exasperating. We did not find that to be true in planning a wedding with Rhodes. Jessica Krasner was both professional and helpful in the planning and execution of our daughter's wedding. Her suggestions and advice were always helpful and reduced the stress level for us. Reminders helped us to know exactly what had to be done and when, which again reduced the stress level associated with such an event. The day of the wedding everything looked amazingly beautiful from the cocktail area to the reception area. Both exceeded our expectations. The food was outstanding, thank you Russell Morin for the wonderful food; and the service staff was attentive and professional. We are still receiving comments from our guests who continue to rave about the food, the venue and the staff. My husband and I and particularly our children had a wonderful time; the food, the staff and the venue made for a memorable evening. Jessica's help throughout the evening was greatly appreciated by my husband and me. The evening was truly beautiful and most importantly everyone enjoyed themselves especially the bride and groom. Between the building, coordinators, grounds, lighting, food!!! I am still getting calls telling me it was the best wedding that anyone has ever been to! Guests from ages 20-90 raved!!!! You could not beat the service. If you looked up, someone was there asking if you needed anything. They had our drinks memorized! EVERYONES!! Morin Caterers are by far the best. The food was unbelievable. There was not one single complaint I could think of!! It was perfection like I've never seen. One of my guests told me that she had been to 3 weddings in the past year and all were nice but my daughters was over the top. It's amazing a month later and everyone is still talking about what an amazing time it was!! I'm the Mother of the Bride so I did the planning and I could never have gotten the results without Maggie who is general manager and events specialists. She is a very special young lady. First class all the way. She helped me from beginning to the very end. I could have never done it without her. I really can't say enough about Rhodes and their staff. Words just can't express!!!

We decided to purchase the all-inclusive package, and it made a world of difference in our pre-wedding schedule. Jessica made everything so easy, and was both attentive and kind throughout the planning and the big night, itself. She took the stress out of our wedding day, and helped us through every step of the planning process with great advice and a friendly demeanor. My son and daughter-in-law were married at Rhodes last December and I have to say that it was a wonderful event; guests are still telling me how beautiful it was and how the food was the best they ever had at a wedding. I was involved in every stage of the planning and right from the beginning Jessica made us feel so comfortable and confident with all of our choices. I can’t say enough good things about Jessica and the entire staff. The day of the wedding Jessica made sure everything ran smoothly, she even stayed on the phone with the bride’s grandmother, who was lost, and helped direct her to the venue. There are many wedding venues in Rhode Island but I don’t think my son’s wedding would have been as beautiful or memorable if it had been held anywhere else.

Rhodes on the Pawtuxet was a beautiful place to have our wedding reception. It is a large hall, where it can hold up to 800 people, but we had about 235 people and the place was perfect. The tables were nicely spaced apart, without any crowding and there was a ton of dance floor space. There is a nice stage for the DJ. We had uplighting, which totally transformed the venue and it was beautiful. Jessica took care of everything for us, from scheduling, to the set up (we were very specific with # of chairs per table, children per table). I was very pleased that my friend who had severe allergies was able to eat, and Jessica checked in with her throughout the night and made sure she was taken care of. I greatly appreciated that, as well as how she accommodated for extra guests that I did not anticipate. I only had two small problems. I could not make the one day of food tasting, which was a Thursday evening. It was possible to have a private tasting, but the options would have been more limited. I would have preferred if it was on a weekend, but everything worked out. I also found an issue with the bill twice, and Jessica and the finance department took care of that immediately for me. Both were very minor things, and I could not have asked for things to work out better.The food was delicious and overall, very good experience. Would definitely recommend them

We had both our ceremony and reception at Rhodes in November and had the most wonderful experience. It has such an amazingly beautiful vintage look to it, from the moment we saw it I knew we had to get married there. They have a wonderful staff, who was so attentive to our every need, down to a bottle of champagne in the bridal suite and pre-wedding ordeurves. Jessica Krasner is the perfect wedding planner she walks you through every step of the way with worksheets of things you need to tic tacs for when you walk down the aisle. Morins catering makes the most delicious and photo worthy food, and they even send you home with a hotel doggie bag. They have packages that provide you with reputable and award winning connections to DJs, florists, and photographers, which is so helpful seeing as how most people have never planned a wedding before. I would absolutely recommend Rhodes to everyone, they are worth every penny!

I'm a wedding vendor myself so I already knew what to look for in a wedding venue. Rhodes was already in my top 3 of venue choices. When I found out that Russel Morin Fine Catering was Rhodes' in-house caterer, I was 110% sold. My wife booked the venue and worked with Jessica and her amazing team on all the details. Jess was a pleasure to work with - she's always smiling, friendly and very responsive. She helped us with the linen rentals, lighting etc and brought it all together into one incredible setting. Our wedding was absolutely incredible and it would not have been as amazing if it were not for Jess and ALL of the Rhodes' staff. I can't speak highly enough about them, we love them!

This is an amazing venue. I had so many options for beautiful photos. They have a path and trail and a wooden bridge in the back that was beautiful with the fall leaves. Our wedding ceremony was outside on site and everything was beautiful. The cocktail hour hall wowed my guest, it was great that it w was separate from the dining and dancing area. The ball room itself was more beautiful than I could ever imagine. I loved the tall ceilings and wooden floors. My wedding was the best ever, classic and beautiful thanks to Rhodes.

It really was the best day of our lives and everything about the venue/food/drinks/accommodation was perfect. We were so honored to be able to celebrate our big day at a venue that is stunning, classic, and historical, just days after its 100 Year Anniversary! Jessica and her team at Russell Morin/Rhodes on the Pawtuxet are simply fantastic! Russell Morin’s catering can only be described as out of this world. For weeks following the wedding compliments from guests poured in, saying the food was the best they ever had at any wedding! Guests also overheard people who were not in attendance talking about our event, which goes to show how absolutely amazing it truly was. Our reception went so smoothly and it’s because of this incredible team and their attention to detail. Big thanks to Jessica who made the whole process so relaxed and enjoyable, she ensured everything we wanted was perfect on our big day. As an anxious bride, juggling multiple things outside of the wedding, I truly appreciated Jessica’s guidance and patience with me, as I planned my “Rhode Island” themed wedding… Adorned with anchors and chockfull of coffee milkshakes, Dels Lemonade and Vodka Signature drink, clam cakes and chowder, fish and chips… and the list goes on. I had very specific ideas in mind with not a ton of time to put them into action, but Jessica was able to help me make my visions a reality, nonetheless. She acted as not only the on-site planner for our “All-Inclusive” wedding, but also as the host for the day, where she ensured everything ran smoothly and was a complete rockstar. I wanted a venue with a vintage feel and Rhodes on the Pawtuxet delivered! With it’s rich history and beautiful building, it set the stage for a wonderful wedding and made our pictures perfect! I fell in love at first sight with the archways that line the interior and the expansive wood floors. We had about 175 people at the wedding and the building was able to easily accommodate our group while still maintaining a cozy, intimate feel. There was a gorgeous, large bar area for guests to mingle and enjoy the hors d’oeuvres in during cocktail hour. The sizable dance floor created the ability to have a fun party atmosphere so we could dance the night away. Along with the gorgeous architecture, the employees help to make the process easy and enjoyable. Jessica Krasner was incredibly helpful and always available to answer any questions we could possibly have had. She was able to suggest vendors, like lighting, that had done weddings at Rhodes in the past to help enhance the beauty of the building. Jessica definitely made what can be an overwhelming and stressful process, enjoyable! Another high point to Rhodes is the food! There are tons of options of hors d’oeuvres, which definitely came in handy due to dietary restrictions we had in our families. I can confidently say that all of the guests we have talked to have raved about how delicious the food was and that it was the best food they have ever had! Honestly, between the incredible food, the friendly wait staff, and the amazing service, I can't tell you how many compliments I received both during and after the wedding. Believe me, with the right lighting, table decor, room decor, and flowers - this place will look just as great, or even better, as anywhere else! \r\rThe team at Russell Morin Fine Catering did a great, great job with taking care of everyone at my wedding. They ensured that everything was in place and they were also very flexible when it came to personal requests and adjustments to the room decor and menu. Our families loved the food!!! \r\rJessica, the coordinator, did a TREMENDOUS job taking care of us as bride and groom all night long; whatever we needed - she was there!\r\rThe cost of this venue is most definitely affordable and it is a great value. Another great aspect to any event taking place here is that your event is the ONLY event taking place at this venue at that time - so no bumping into other brides by accident. The fact that the venue and catering are a package deal makes planning EXTRA easy; WAY less details to have to figure out and coordinate because they do it for you (tables, chairs, silverware, napkins, delivery logistics, etc.)\r\rWe are average people who come from average-income and family. We put a lot of effort into planning our wedding and had a lot of love and support from our family. Our wedding was amazing and we would re-live in a heartbeat. :-D

Not only was this venue perfect for what we were looking for, but the entire staff is professional, hardworking, and a joy to work with. Jessica is your go-to girl, and it is truly amazing what she can accomplish. She runs so many events throughout the year, but she makes you feel so special. She pays attention to every detail and wish you have, and makes you feel like you're the only bride on her radar. The food was amazing (we did custom food stations that people LOVED), the set up was gorgeous, and I was not stressed about anything. Compared to other venues in the area, we felt the price was the best and there was more customization available here (which was important to us). Our wedding was unique just like we wanted :)

There are not enough wonderful things to say about our wedding at Rhodes! From the first time we toured the venue we knew it would be the perfect location for our wedding. We worked with Jessica, who was phenomenal at guiding us through the wedding planning process and was able to answer any questions we had about planning our big day. On the day of the wedding, Jessica was so amazing at making sure things ran smoothly and that everything was the way we had imagined - she even made sure we had enough to eat and drink!\r\rThe venue itself was so beautiful, we had uplighting from ATR Treehouse that was the perfect compliment to our color scheme and vision. We had our ceremony on site as well, which was perfectly executed. Our tables for the reception were set up exactly how we had imagined and looked amazing.\r\rThe food was delicious as well! We upgraded our appetizers to have the mini fish and chips and added the coffee frappes for dessert, which were both a hit with our guests. We also used the baker at Rhodes for our cake, which was gorgeous as well as delicious.\r\rOur wedding at Rhodes was everything we could have imagined and I would choose them over and over if given the choice!

We got married at The Rhodes on the Pawtuxet this past April. We fell in love with the venue, and were amazed with the food provided by Russell Morin Fine Catering.\rMore importantly we felt like we could trust Jessica Krasner with the biggest day of our life. At no point were we ever even remotely disappointed. The venue looked amazing, the ceremony without a hitch, and Jessica made the entire evening run as smooth as possible. I have been in other wedding parties where the bride and groom and their wedding party never get to have any of the cocktail hour beverages or hor d'oeuvres. This was not the case with our wedding. Jessica personally presented us with our drinks, followed by her courteous and friendly staff with all the appetizers we could want. It's nice to actually eat what you paid for! I basically look at it like this, if you are on the fence about venues, or your not sure who you can trust to make your day the best day it could possibly be. I had my wedding reception at Rhodes and every detail was perfect! Jessica and the staff were amazing and made sure everything was perfect. I didn't have to worry about anything. The staff set everything up for me exactly as I wanted. I was so happy with all the details of my wedding. It was a stress free day and I was truly able to enjoy my day. The staff kept us on track so we were able to do everything we wanted at our reception. They also let us take pictures throughout the venue for no additional charge. The wedding package we selected included so much and it truly made our wedding great. The food was amazing as well. We had A LOT of special requests for the day and the staff at Rhodes and Russell Morin went out of their way to make sure everything happened exactly as we had pictured!\r\rOh, and the food, I can't say enough about the food!!!! Absolutely delicous from start to finish. I'm a vegetarian and a few of our guests are vegan, and this is hands down the best catered meal I've ever had. And yes I did eat! Everything! Our onsite coordinator Aaron made sure that we had ample time to enjoy our food and greet our guests. \r\rIt was simply a perfect day :)

Our wedding was in September at Rhodes on the Pawtuxet. Jessica was fantastic. She responded promptly to emails throughout the entire process. Some other vendors take days and days to respond and once you are nearing the wedding day it can cause headaches. Jessica never left you waiting. She was the best person to deal with. I can't say enough good things about her. She knows how to plan a wedding and how to deal with brides! The day of the wedding went smoothly. So many of our guests commented on the uniqueness and beauty of the venue. The food was raved about. Jessica was attentive with so many little details. Both of our parents and grandparents loved her. Our final guest count ended up being in the 150s. We had been a little nervous about the size of the venue and the guest count, but it did not seem too large at all the day of (which Jessica had assured us of). Too many wedding venues have such small dance floors, but you don't have to worry about bumping into others while on this dance floor. It was full the entire time and was just enough for us! So glad we chose Rhodes!

My husband and I were set on having our wedding reception at his country club. After all, the food is great and we know they would have treated us well. He suggested that we take a look at Rhodes, as he remembered going to swing concerts as a kid there and it may have the desired look we were going for.\r\rI fell in love with the building from the second I saw it. The bar area and ballroom are gorgeous! We met with Jessica Krasner who mapped out all of our options and prices, and patiently answered any questions we had. After we got home we decided to go with Rhodes and we set up a follow up meeting with Jessica.\r\rOver the next 12 months, Jessica would meet with us any time we wanted and answered every question promptly. We can't speak enough about Jessica and her staff. She and Aaron gave us advice any time we needed it...even if it wasn't about the venue itself. On the night of the reception, it was comforting to know that Jessica was there with us until the end just in case we had any questions or requests. The food was incredible and our guests couldn't get over how nice the room looked. \r\rWhen we first met with Jessica, we told her that we wanted our reception to have a relaxed feel where all of our guests could kick back and have fun. She delivered that and more.\r\rOur day ended on a perfect note thanks to Rhodes On The Pawtuxet and their staff.

She was organized, creative and she always responded to my emails right away. Jessica went above and beyond what I would consider her normal job responsibilities to make sure my wedding was perfect. And it was! The ballroom literally took my breath away when I saw it for the first time on my wedding day – it was incredible. Also, the food was amazing!! We had a hard time finding a large enough venue for our wedding, 400 people. I asked my now wife to be my girlfriend at this same place just 7 years ago. Loved the floors and the rustic interior, the venue is big but not too big where you feel empty. We all fit on the main level with plenty of room for dancing. The food was amazing, they worked with us on the menu with creating customized dishes to suit our Portuguese tastes and the chefs nailed it! Perfection! The service was superb, never ran out of food or soup of drinks etc. They were right on key filling everyone's glass as needed. Jessica was great to us always helpful and answering any questions we had a long the way. The appetizers were amazing and plentiful they kept going around with sangria and more appetizers. Plenty of room for talking and kids etc. They set up everything for us the day before all we had to do was drop the stuff off and she set it up just like we wanted. It truly exceeded our expectations in food, quality, service and atmosphere. Not a single complaint from us or any of our guests, everyone had a great time and Jessica and her team helped make our wedding an amazing day! I looked at several venues for my wedding before settling on Rhodes. While some of the other options were tempting due to a tight budget, Rhodes was the only one that gave me \"the feeling\" when I walked in. Goosebumps! This clean, beautiful, historic building would be perfect for any wedding no matter what your theme, and it was certainly perfect for mine. What really ended up making for a perfect wedding, though, was the staff of Rhodes and Russell Morin. As our wedding coordinator, Jessica Krasner was friendly and helpful from our first meeting. Despite returning from maternity leave just a few months before our wedding, she was right on the ball and always available to answer questions and guide us through the planning process. On our wedding day, she did a beautiful job of setting up our centerpieces, favors, and decorations exactly how I had imagined they would look. She made herself available to us throughout the night and checked in on us several times, but was never intrusive. It seemed really important to her that we have a perfect, memorable, stress free night...she even went so far as to sew a button back on my groom's tux! The night unfolded without a hitch, and the food was amazing (we got compliments on that from just about ALL of our guests!). We also decided to get our wedding cake through Russell Morin and I was able to work closely through email with Emily McManus, who really took the time to make the cake exactly what I wanted. It was lovely AND delicious. Overall this was a great experience that I would highly recommend to anyone who is trying to plan their dream wedding. We all know how hard it is to please everyone, but I can honestly say that at the end of the night: I was happy, my husband was happy, our families were happy, and our guests were happy. What more could anyone ask for??

I can't say enough good things about Rhodes. From the moment we met with Jessica I knew it was the right place for me. She was so detailed and was a pleasure to work with. I knew I was in good hands with her! If I forgot something she had it! The food was amazing! Probably the best food I have had at a wedding. The food tasting was also great, we got to try so many yummy choices. I also added on up lighting and lanterns which made the room look amazing! I would definitely recommend Rhodes to anyone planning a wedding.

ive catered many weddings at a golf course and at amalfi in Narragansett, been to countless weddings at many of these other vendors listed and I could not be happier to have had hosted my wedding and reception at Rhodes! The service was better than the service on our honeymoon in Mexico, the food was better than any other wedding food ive had. Maggie made sure to follow through with everything I wanted and so much more! I literally could not have been happier to have it at Rhodes the room looked gorgeous (I did very little- lantern centerpieces, lantern uplighting and arch uplighting) I received so many compliments on how it was the most beautiful wedding anyone had ever been to, how delicious the food was.. because at the end of the day- if a wedding doesn't have great food and music, its not that great of a time! so happy the most important aspect (to me!) was handled phenomenally

Three days before we got engaged, I saw an ad for Rhodes on the Pawtuxet in a magazine and knew that's where I wanted our reception. It was beautiful and grand and everything I had pictured for my wedding. So, the day after we got engaged (4 days later) it was the first place I called. We ended up going to a few other places as well but nothing measured up. I booked with Jessica and she was amazing from the start. She went above and beyond to make sure that our wedding day was a dream come true. Jessica went on maternity leave about 6 months before our wedding and Aaron took care of us in the time she was out. He was also amazing and made sure to accommodate us and our crazy schedules. My husband travels a lot for work and had to miss the tasting at Rhodes, so he set up a private tasting for us when my husband returned. When Jessica came back, the transition was once again seamless. It was like she was never gone! Fast forward to our wedding, the most beautiful and amazing day of my life! When we walked into the ballroom for the first time, it was as if Jessica had seen my visions. The room was absolutely gorgeous. Everything was perfect. I am a perfectionist and had given her drawings and diagrams for everything, and I had even sent my aunt to check things out before the guest arrived just to make sure everything was perfect. I have to admit I am kind of embarrassed about that because I should have known that everything would be perfect (but I had heard so many horror stories of things gone wrong)! All night long Jessica was right there to make sure we had drinks, ate our dinner and were having a blast! We were so blessed to have her there for our during the planning process and the night of! \r\rAside from the amazing coordinators, the food was phenomenal! I have been told by so many guests that they have never had better wedding food. We were on a tight budget so we didn't upgrade the meals or the hors d'oeuvres but we didn't even need the upgrade because the food was so good. Something they told us from the beginning was that they guarantee dinner will be done within an hour as there are more than enough servers and staff to get it done quickly. I didn't believe it could be done but they pulled it off! As a side note, we also added late night passed snacks to our package and that was totally worth it too! \r\rOverall, I have to say that Rhodes was completely amazing and I would have my wedding there all over again! I seriously cannot say enough great things about them.

Aaron helped us every step up the way and made the planning process so much easier. We recently used Russell Morin as our wedding caterer and could not have been more pleased with the results.\rPre Party Service: They were great to work with, thinking of every last detail that even my Type A personality forgot about. They worked with us to get us everything we wanted on our budget, customizing every last detail to suit our needs. They were prompt in their responses which was a big relief for me as I have a short time frame to plan. \rFood: The big selling point for us was that they cooked all the food on site (we did not get married at one of their venues so they set up catering tents at our outdoor venue so this was a big feat.) It was clear when the food came out. It was outstanding! And not just for wedding food. Our guests are still raving about the, Fish & Chips hors d'oeuvres, Roast Tenderloin entree, and Brownie Sundae bar. And it was all plentiful.\rDay Of Service: The staff was incredibly friendly, catering to all of our guest's needs, not just mine. They stuck to the timeline we created serving the food promptly. And everyone loved that they came around with extra helpings of the entrees at the end. \rOverall we could not be happier with our selection and strongly recommend them for any event, but particularly weddings. If I ever have a need for a caterer again, I know who I will be contacting.

Rhodes on the Pawtuxet was an amazing venue for our wedding. I was perfect for our fall wedding in early October. The venue provided not only great service but amazing places to take pictures making it convenient that we could stay on site(also saved us some money on transportation)! Rhodes on the Pawtuxet caters to you and makes sure your wedding is everything you could have hoped for and more! Even when some of the food was a little undercooked for their liking(everything is cooked to fine dining standards)they took it back and gladly cooked it more. All our guest enjoyed our wedding and didn't want the night to end just as we didn't! You wont be disappointed with Rhodes on the Pawtuxet as your Wedding Venue!\r\rSincerely,\rA very happy Bride :)

Rhodes on the Pawtuxet is such a unique and gorgeous venue that has such charm! My guests were blown away not only by the size and beauty of Rhodes, but also by the amazing service and friendliness of the staff. I can't tell you how many compliments I received both during and after the wedding. Also, the food is out of this world! Even the pickiest food eaters of the group could not get enough of the delicious appetizers (which seemed never ending), and would not stop raving about their meal! Usually at weddings the appetizers are sparse, and one of the things my guests really noticed was that they didn't have to hunt down the appetizers! Plus the size of the cocktail space allowed for comfortable mingling where everyone had plenty of room. Of course, aside from all of this, I have to give a huge THANK YOU to Aaron Messina who made the wedding planning process such an enjoyable, stress-free and fun experience!! He was extremely professional, yet laid back enough to make me feel comfortable approaching him with my many questions...all of which were responded to immediately and with such enthusiasm. He welcomed new ideas and suggestions and in fact encouraged them. He was by far the easiest vendor to work with and I would HIGHLY recommend him. Not only was he very hands-on from the beginning, but during the cocktail hour and reception, he made it a point to make sure my husband and I were taken care of, whether it be bringing over appetizers we hadn't tried yet, making sure we had a drink, or just to checking-in to make sure everything was going well. The staff at Rhodes did not miss a beat and my every request/wish was carried out flawlessly. Our wedding was perfect and our guests have even requested a 1-year anniversary party there because they could not get over how much fun they had. You will not be disappointed with Rhodes on the Pawtuxet!!!

I cannot say thanks enough to Jessica and the rest of the staff at Rhodes on the Pawtuxet for making our wedding day like a dream come true for us! Jessica was so helpful during the planning process, always available to answer questions and to deal with last minute changes. We started the day with outdoor pictures before the ceremony so we could maximize the time spent with our guests. It is great that only one wedding is held per day so we could come early to do that. The day was beautiful for an outdoor wedding, and Jessica made sure all the wedding party knew where to stand and guided us on when to start etc. The cocktail hour was lovely, everyone loved the appetizers, and there were plenty of them being passed around by the friendly staff! We also had our private trays delivered to the bridal suite with special personal touches such as our initials spelled out in sauce across the top of the beautifully decorated tray! The main course was equally wonderful! We have gotten many compliments, especially on the braised short rib meal! I highly recommend that one! The place was beautiful, we had ordered the up lighting and lanterns from their recommended vendors, and it added such a classy touch to an already beautiful place! The staff were very attentive to us and our guests throughout the night. My mom has a terminal illness and they made special accommodations for her during the ceremony and were very respectful and attentive. It was also very nice to have the private bridal suite with couch to sit in and have some quiet time with her, and take a breather once in a while. The same goes for the comfy furniture used in the corners of the room. These were utilized by our guests throughout the night to have some down time in a comfortable setting. Again, I cannot say enough great things about this place and the people. I highly recommend this venue for a wedding or any other function!

I had the best day of my life on August 3rd! My wedding was absolutely perfect! Rhodes on The Pawtuxet was the best venue and EVERYONE is still talking about the venue and how good the food was. My husband and I were craving the food the next day! Everything was perfect and Aaron from Rhodes made it all happen. He was great to work with and as a bride I felt so comfortable knowing everything was going to be Perfect and just how I imagined it! He constantly answered all my emails and phone calls in a timely manner and was always following up to make sure everything was going great. This was the BEST venue a bride could ask for! The venue is gorgeous and the food was AMAZING!!\r

I cannot fully express just how thrilled I am that we went with Rhodes on the Pawtuxet for our wedding venue. The space is breathtakingly beautiful (and SO different from all of the other venues we've been attending weddings at) and the food is phenomenal - almost every person I have spoken with since has mentioned it as some of the best wedding food they've ever had. Also, it rained on our date, but the gorgeous interior offered numerous settings for our photographer to use. \r\rOn top of this, Aaron, our coordinator, was exactly what every bride wants leading up to and on her wedding day. He responded to all of my emails quickly, was flexible with my numerous decision changes, and always offered thoughtful suggestions. I even came up with a small last minute idea THE MORNING OF my wedding, emailed Aaron, and he responded saying \"No problem!\" He was calm, organized, and fun - he made sure my husband and I had everything we needed on the day and made us feel at ease the entire night. My husband and I keep reliving the night and saying just how perfect everything was and how smoothly it all went. I speak for all of my wedding guests when I say that Rhodes on the Pawtuxet is HIGHLY recommended for any event!

My husband and I had our wedding at Rhodes on the Pawtuxet on July 13, 2013. We had 440 guest attend with a wedding party of 28 people. Our guests had more than enough room and a huge dance floor! We began working with Aaron almost two years ago and he was beyond accomodating every step of the way. We were very particular about what we wanted our wedding to be and what we expected from our wedding venue and catering company. Aaron and everyone else at Rhodes and Russell Morin exceeded every expectation. We spoke to Aaron very often about the layout of the cocktail area and main reception room, head table, the menu, the service, and communication with our other vendors. Aarons attention to detail made our wedding as perfect as we wanted it to be. I would highly reccomend Rhodes on the Pawtuxet to anyone who is planning a large wedding... I cant imagine our wedding reception being any more perfect. Thank you Aaron!

Our experience with Rhodes on the Pawtuxet & Russell Morin could not have been any better! The staff was extremely professional, responsive, and helpful! My wife and I planned the wedding from out-of-state and Aaron Messina and his team were wonderful at keeping in touch with us and answering any questions. We had a few odd-ball requests for his team and they were able to pull everything together perfectly! On top of that, the venue is absolutely beautiful. There is a great space with a gorgeous, large bar for a cocktail hour and the ballroom has great hard-wood floors and plenty of space for dancing! If that wasn't enough, the food provided by Russell Morin was out-of-this-world! Multiple guests came up to us saying that the food was the best they had ever had at a wedding! Overall, my wife and I could not have been happier with our experience with Rhodes on the Pawtuxet and Russell Moring Fine Catering! We would strongly recommend this vendor for anyone planning a wedding in the Rhode Island area!

Our wedding at Rhodes was wonderful. They did a great job in every respect. Our coordinator, Jessica, did a very good job keeping everything on track and flowing smoothly.\rRhodes is an old historic building, beautiful inside and out. The grounds could be more picturesque, but this is an indoor venue so not a big deal. They do have a grassy area, gazebo, and some water to take pictures outside with.\rThe food is excellent. It is exclusively done by Morrin's Fine Catering. They were able to do a completely vegan wedding for us. Their flexibility in creating a menu for us and with us was great. Our guests loved the food!\rThis venue is large and can handle 400 for a wedding, but they have retractable walls they can put up for smaller weddings under 125 people.\rAll in all highly recommended.

We recently had our wedding reception at Rhodes and we were absolutely thrilled with the evening. Our experience in planning the wedding reception with Aaron Messina, Manager of Rhodes was wonderful. I can't say enough good things about his attention to detail, calming presence, and willingness to accommodate our requests. We had not an ounce of stress in planning our day! The food was excellent, the waitstaff attentive & kind. We had a band, which really made the night a huge hit! Our guests were on the dance floor from start to finish and truly enjoyed the atmosphere at Rhodes. Just a wonderful evening all around!

I went to my friends' wedding there.. it was gorgeous and the food was awesome! Everytime I hear about a wedding I say how great the food was there. The venue makes you feel like you're part of a fairytale.. I would suggest it to anyone who has the money to pay for it ;)

Having our wedding at the Rhodes was the best decision for our wedding. Our number one priority in choosing a venue was we wanted great food for our guests and boy did the Rhodes deliver. Our guests are still raving about how good the food was and how much of it there was. We've gotten great feedback on the salad, our entrees, especially the vegetarian option, and no one can stop talking about how yummy the penne with vodka sauce was! \r\rOur coordinator Abbie was also amazing, she took care of eveything for us and even got on her hands and knees and helped scrub out some mud stains that got on the bottom of my dress thanks to all the rain that day. She also took our massive amount of DIY decorations and my minimal instructions and set up the room exactly as I had envisioned it! It was perfect!\r\rThe space is beautiful, the food is delicious, the packages are well worth the price and include much more then other venues offer, and the staff there are all great. I would highly suggest the Rhodes for any wedding or event. They made our day fantastic and I can not thank them enough!

We would absolutely recommend Rhodes on the Pawtuxet to any couple looking to have an enchanting wedding reception experience. From the initial viewing of the venue, to the night of the wedding, every detail and aspect was perfect. We worked with their wedding consultant, Abbie Partain, and she was the epitome of professional and supportive- words cannot truly explain how wonderful she is at her job. Abbie was extremely responsive through email and phone conversations- whenever we needed her to answer questions or provide reassurance, she was there with a smile. She helped us with creative ideas to setup our wedding table cards, and she always made us feel like we were her only wedding couple- she made us feel comfortable and important- not like just another bride and groom. Abbie went out of her way to accommodate our special requests (changes to the menu for the groom & allergies of the guests; adding last minute guests and meals; and making special arrangements for storing and picking up the groom’s band gear). On the day of our wedding, Abbie personally brought out drinks and appetizers to the wedding party and our family as we took pictures outside and waited for our entrance into the ballroom. \r\rThe setting of Rhodes on the Pawtuxet has a magical charm. When you step into Rhodes it is impossible not to feel the history and happy memories that have been created there. It is a feeling that we did not feel at any other venue save Rhodes on the Pawtuxet. On the night of our wedding, we could not believe how beautiful the strings of paper lanterns looked as the lights from the lanterns danced on the newly polished hard wood floors- it was a breathtaking sight that we both still talk about. The sizes of the ballroom and cocktail hour room were spacious with tall ceilings and rich architecture. We had 150 guests and there was more than enough room for a photo booth area, dj, and a band. The space was provided for perfectly spaced guest tables so that everyone could see the dance floor, and there was such a large dancing space! When the groom (my husband!) and his band started to play during the last hour of the wedding, the large Rhodes on the Pawtuxet stage transformed into rock and roll concert! The food was unreal- from the appetizers to the main course- we really cannot say enough about Russell Morin Fine Catering services that is included in the Rhodes on the Pawtuxet package. Russell Morin also created our wedding cake. The cake was four different tiers of delicious- and it was the most incredible tasting cake that we have had in our 27 years of living. The servers and bartenders were friendly and accommodating- catering to every wish of the guests and bridal party. In addition to the food at the reception, we received Bride and Groom “to go boxes,” with the most delicious sandwich and cookie that were on par with the reception food! \r

My husband and I had both our ceremony and reception at Rhodes. We worked with Abbie for all of the planning and details. I cannot stress how amazing and helpful Abbie is!! She was so great to work with. I had tons of questions throughout the entire planning process-- I knew nothing about weddings. Abbie was so helpful, and replied to my emails immediately! She offered a lot of advice and options, and Rhodes was very flexible! We looked at over 15 different reception sites, and no place could beat the beauty and value offered at Rhodes! All of our guests raved about the food too- they said it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding!! I would definitely recommend Rhodes on the Pawtuxet for a wedding!!

My darling husband and I got married in the historic ballroom Rhodes-on-the-Pawtuxet. We used the ballroom for both our ceremony and reception. Working with our florist, they partitioned off a section of the ballroom to give us an intimate feel within the grandeur of the ballroom. We used the foyer for cocktails & hors d'oeuvres while the partition was dismantled and the floral displays added to the ballroom. The food was fantastic. We had prime rib au jus, salmon wellington with fresh dill and ravioli crimini with a madeira cream sauce. The caterers handled gluten free, lactose free and vegan with aplomb. The wait staff had to cope with lots of dancings before during and after dinner. We held our wedding at a venue with the biggest dance floor in the state for a reaon! It was all I hoped for and we had so much fun!
