Located in Portland, ME, Rising Tide Brewing Company is a unique wedding venue. You can mark your nuptials in a trendy, industrial-style setting, in the heart of Portland’s vibrant East Bayside neighborhood. The dedicated team is on hand to make your vision a reality against a warehouse-chic backdrop. Rising Tide Brewing Company is a family-owned and operated brewery that specializes in brewing high-quality beer and curating wonderful events. In 2010, husband-and-wife team Nathan and Heather fulfilled their dream to run a brewery with a bar and events area. Their lofty brewery and event space blends authentic industrial accents with minimal and modern interiors. The pared-back design allows you to project your theme and personal style. The East Room is ideal for intimate occasions and micro weddings, with a capacity for 50 seated guests or 70 people for cocktail receptions. You have the option of using the private outdoor terrace that adjoins the East Room for larger parties. A tent that holds up to 100 seated guests is available on the terrace, so you can expand your guest list and add a semi-alfresco aspect to your celebration. Wooden benches and barrels line the patio, with modern heaters lending warmth and ambient light. The experienced event team is on hand to make your day truly unforgettable. The in-house event and wedding coordinator will collaborate with you to learn about your vision, vibe, and needs. You can look forward to a bespoke experience from start to finish, with the freedom to select vendors from the team's preferred list. In-house catering comes courtesy of The Galley restaurant team, led by head chef Josh. His talented culinary crew designs delicious menus for relaxed yet refined occasions.

As soon as we checked out the Rising Tide Brewery we were in love with the space! It was modern and had a great vibe. They did an awesome job of setting up the space perfectly for our special day. The staff was wonderful-we did not have to worry about a thing! They were friendly and efficient, and helped our reception go off without a hitch! And the food, yum! Everything was wonderful, I would 100% recommend booking Rising Tide for any event you’re planning!

We had our wedding welcome event at Rising Tide the night before our wedding and it was PERFECT. Haylee was amazing to work with and the team made the event SO easy. The space is so flexible and great for large group events - there were spaces for people to sit and stand as well as cornhole. My husband and I would HIGHLY recommend having a wedding or pre-wedding event here!

We had the absolute best time celebrating our one year wedding anniversary this August at Rising Tide! Haylee, Rising Tide’s Private Event Manager, was extremely communicative and helpful with our event planning. She thoughtfully offered us advice and recommendations for menu adjustments we wanted to make and was always quick to answer any questions we had around the venue, set-up, bringing in decorations, etc. Jenavieve and all of the on-site staff were fantastic - helping and anticipating things that we didn't even know we might need! I knew I could count on the Rising Tide team to keep everything running smoothly so my husband and I could focus on our guests. The food from start to finish was spectacular; all of our guests raved about it. Especially the oyster display, beautiful cheese board, and the delicious flatbreads! Rising Tide worked with us to provide gluten free options as well as vegetarian to meet the dietary needs of all our guests. Our only wish was that the night didn't have to end! We all could have stayed at least 2 hours longer given the chance! I would highly recommend Rising Tide to anyone looking to plan an event.

We held our wedding welcome party in their East Room and it was just perfect. Between the open garage room and the outdoor tent, there was lots of great space for people to mingle. Everything flowed well together: the bar and thoughtful bar tenders, the screen to show a slideshow of photos, the speakers for music and speeches, and the flowers that were organized for each table. They set everything up professionally and Haylee was incredibly professional and helpful. Perfect vibe for a mingling party. We had 70ish people and could have had even more. Highly recommended!

My husband and I recently had our rehearsal dinner here, and we couldn't have chosen better. The staff was extremely friendly and easy to work with throughout the entire process. The private space in which we had the party was modern, warm, and welcoming. We had Otto's deliver pizza, and O'Oyster come with their cart, which went seamlessly because Rising Tide has worked with many vendors and knows how everything should flow. We didn't have to worry about a thing and couldn't have asked for a better venue for our rehearsal dinner- it set the tone of fun for the entire wedding weekend, and a lot of that is credit to the staff at Rising Tide. I'd do it all over again in a heartbeat, and would highly recommend this place.

Haylee (Manager) Hi, I'm Haylee! My passion for events started in the Tourism & Hospitality program at the University of Southern Maine where my highlights were planning a land and sea tour on a cruise to Bermuda and interning with wedding planners and tour operators. As an introvert, I never wanted to be the life of the party, but I loved being the heart of the party-- and that's where event planning came in. There's nothing I enjoy more than helping plan all the specifics, thoughtful details, special touches, and then standing back to watch it come to life for you and your loved ones.
