We had our September 2023 wedding ceremony and reception in the outdoor space at River City and we are so happy we did! We worked directly with Claire and Carly to plan our wedding and they were always available to answer any questions and just as excited for our wedding as we were! The outdoor space is absolutely beautiful and large enough to accommodate larger guest lists. With the fountain, overhead lights and greenery walls, there’s little need for extra decor! We received so many compliments on the venue and the food (the mac & cheese is a must try)! We’re so happy we chose River City Casino for our wedding!

I have nothing but amazing things to say about everyone who helped us plan our reception at River City. Namely, Claire and Carly were primarily involved in the tastings, details, and day-to-day communication. They were top notch. I always received prompt answers to emails, and they made me feel like anything I wanted was reasonable and would be taken care of. They were extremely professional while also excited to see the planning come together. I felt like they were rooting for me to have the best day imaginable. They delivered on every aspect. They went above and beyond with communication, updating preferences, and ensuring we were always on the same page. I never had to worry that something was going to be missed. I had nearly no stress going into wedding week thanks to their organization and professionalism. River city also offers a lot of helpful benefits that many other vendors do not. They contacted all vendors the week of the wedding for us and arranged pick up/drop off for party bus, florist, and ensuring DJ had everything they needed for set up. They had centerpieces, table cloths, various easels/tables, cake stand, cutting knives etc. They provided the small things so I didn’t have to spend a ton buying things for one day. They have workers on site to make sure everything goes smoothly throughout the reception. They were all kind and professional. Food was amazing, atmosphere was amazing, and we have been getting a ton of compliments. They also allow you to customize your seating chart so there’s no strict “8 to a table” where you’re forced placing people together who may not know each other. This made it simple to make our seating chart-something that takes a lot of brides a lot of time. They also offered complimentary stay the night of and the night before the wedding, and they had staff that brought gifts to our room so we didn’t have to worry. Due to the high security at the casino and professionalism of staff, I had no worries about any form of stealing of gifts or worry about placing them in someone else’s hands. They set out any additional decor/signs we had, so we didn’t have to allocate a family member or friend to do that on the wedding day. They saved our top tier of our cake and arranged pick up with one of our family members while we were on our honeymoon. It was very evident throughout the entire process that they are experts in planning beautiful events for large groups. I can’t think of anything to complain about, and would highly recommend this vendor to anyone.

the absolute best place we could have ever chosen for our wedding! the staff was amazing and very helpful. our wedding planner, Claire, did a excellent job with helping us plan, answer questions whenever we needed, and assist us on the day of the wedding. i loved the fact that we could have a ceremony, reception, hotel, and entertainment all in one place. our guests gave us so many compliments on how they enjoyed the venue being outside under the pavilion and being able to gamble after lol. they also have a cute bridal suite and groom suite to get ready/hang out before. lastly, the food was absolutely delicious and the staff was extremely efficient changing the room from the ceremony to the reception. just overall, the experience and hospitality was 1000000/10! highly recommend! can’t wait to go back for our anniversary! photos are: devin curtis photography

My daughter’s wedding was in September, and the River City venue was, by far, absolutely perfect in every way. We started planning for the event a year and a half ago. Kate started us off on the right track and was excellent to communicate with. Then, Kate moved on and we were in the hands of Claire. Claire was the wedding coordinator fairy! As the mom of the bride, I had to plan the event with my daughter long distance, which made it very challenging at times. Claire was extremely patient and answered all of my many questions right away putting me at ease. As a very detailed oriented person, I had many requests…..every single one was granted. My daughter and her husband wanted a sneak peek of the venue space before guests came through the door. Claire arranged for them to be dropped off at a specific place to come in the back door~she even had their signature cocktails waiting for them! We reserved the bridal and groom rooms so everyone could get ready. They were beyond perfect and spacious. The food, drinks and service were impeccable. The banquet staff worked very hard to serve and clean the tables. They even picked up all of our decorations at the end of the night and organized them on a separate table which made our clean up the next morning very easy. The event space was beautiful, the staff was amazing (every single one, even hotel staff), and Claire is beyond a doubt remarkable at what she does. Guests raved about how wonderful everything was. I am so thankful and grateful we chose River City.

Dont know where to begin, Katherine Michler and all the River City staff were PHENOMENAL for our wedding events. The outstanding hospitality and team work that helped put our special events together is something I will never forget. If you are looking into a wedding venue, PICK THIS. You will never regret it. Katherine and the team had consistent communication with us and our vendors and coordinated every detail the way we wanted things to be. They were so accommodating for our guests, and the front desk staff was so helpful and kind to each and every guest. I have tried to write this review many times and words seriously cannot express how truly AMAZING our experience was with River City!!! For all the brides who are like me and look through countless reviews and details trying to find the perfect venue, let me tell you- this is it!!! Kelly and all of the staff were absolutely incredible to us from the planning, to our rehearsal dinner, to our ceremony and reception- it was all seamless. Emails, calls, and questions were always answered promptly and with genuine care, the food at our rehearsal dinner and reception was sensational (I still have guests asking me if I know their recipe over a month later lol!), and the drinks were heavenly! We even had special cocktails named after our 3 dogs and had so much fun hearing people order the \"Charlie, Nanook, or Magnolia\" all night long. We left with our wedding party briefly during cocktail hour to take pictures at a nearby park and Kelly & Christina met us at the door with our favorite drinks for the grand entrance! They even went above and beyond to make sure our stay and our parents stay at the hotel was more than comfortable with some snacks and beverages upon arrival. Their attention to detail, great communication, above and beyond service, and outstanding hotel rooms are first-class and deserve to be recognized for all that they do for their clients. They even help you create a floor plan of how you want the space to look beforehand which was great for me as a DIY bride. My husband and I are not from this area and neither are many of our friends or family members, so having the ability to have them all fly in to STL, take a 20 min ride to the hotel/casino, and be there for everything for the entire weekend made it the perfect, one-stop-shop for all our needs. All our guests had to do was check in and enjoy the rest of the weekend with us. It was the most magical day and if I could give them more than 5 stars I would! Kelly and everyone we worked with go out of their way to make sure all of your wedding dreams come true and genuinely share in the excitement with you! Wedding planning can be stressful and choosing this venue was the best, easiest decision we made. It is rare to find a venue that can offer everything you need including accommodations in one spot and we would choose River City over and over again. Thank you Kelly and everyone at River City Casino for an amazing wedding weekend! We are forever grateful!

We had the best experience having our wedding reception and rehearsal dinner at River City Caino and Hotel. My husband and I could not have imagined it being anywhere else, and we are still getting compliments almost 2 months later! Kate and Christina did an exceptional job helping us make our dream come true over almost 16 months of planning. Our questions were always answered quickly and kindly. They made the whole process stress free. Our wedding guests who stayed at the hotel received a great discounted rate and Kate was able to help promptly with any problems we may have had. I would 100% recommend hosting your wedding here. The venue is beautiful, the whole staff is kind and helpful, and the food was wonderful. We wish we could go back.

I would book this venue again for all brides who ask. It was the perfect location with the hotel on site, casino on site, late night food on site, and the ballroom is so beautiful, and big enough for a large wedding.

Our coordinator was so helpful, thoughtful, kind and accommodating. She made sure everything went to plan and made sure to check in with us often! From our cocktail hour to the end of the night everything had gone perfect! The staff made sure our guests had what they needed and made our wedding party feel less nervous during their entrances to the party! Our coordinator was so helpful, thoughtful, kind and accommodating. She made sure everything went to plan and made sure to check in with us often! From our cocktail hour to the end of the night everything had gone perfect! The staff made sure our guests had what they needed and made our wedding party feel less nervous during their entrances to the party! River City had the best pricing for our big wedding. It was perfect having ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and hotel all in one building. Their staff is well equipped to handle any size wedding. Our sit down dinner was amazingly timed and delicious. The whole experience of planning was very organized and extravagant. Their event coordinator Kate was only a phone call/ email away always. All together a perfect space!

there aren't enough words that i can say about this place, the venue was beyond amazing, the food, the staff the service EVERYTHING was perfect, working with Kate Skredenske and Christina Eller was the best decision ive ever done, Kate made me more excited about my wedding, she was quick to respond and was always at help, Christina helped me put my wedding dress on, i can not get over how much at peace they made me feel. i extremely recommend this venue and recommend working with Kate and Christina, you wont regret it i promise.

Words can't describe how incredibly grateful I am to Kate and her staff. Everything on my wedding day went so smoothly. They helped set up all of my centerpieces, table numbers, signs, etc. Kate was on top of everything and helped make my day so special. The food, venue, and atmosphere was absolutely perfect! We loved the stage and set up of the venue, it fit everything perfectly. If you have a big wedding and love to have a good time, River City is the place to be! It was a night everyone will remember. There are not enough great things to say about this venue. It’s beautiful, the food is to die for, the hotel is AMAZING. This place was perfect for our large guest list, where most of them were traveling to us and staying at the hotel. We received nothing but compliments from everyone that attended our wedding. We had our ceremony in front of the fountain outdoors and it was such a gorgeous setting for the day. We were able to have our rehearsal dinner there as well which was so convenient for us, our families, and our wedding party. The entire day went smoothly thanks to the day of wedding coordinator, Kate. She was THE BEST and was so helpful during the planning process. Our entire wedding day and reception turned out to be more than we could have ever wanted thanks to this venue ❤️

Such a great venue to work with! Christina our event manager went above and beyond in every step to make sure the details were everything we were envisioning. She was such a phenomenal liaison for wedding planning, provided great recommendations all along the way, was so open to all of my ideas and extremely accommodating. We did not use a wedding planner, but having River City be our reception venue, our getting ready venue, our rehearsal venue, our caterer, our guests' hotel block, and our after party location, Christina served very much as a wedding planner for us! The staff at River City were always helpful in person. The phone calls to book hotel rooms was our biggest frustration, as the company has all phone calls directed to an off-site location and that caused a lot of issues with guests booking their hotel rooms within the block discount. Overall would highly recommend! The site is clean, BEAUTIFUL, luxurious, and romantic. And we were offered a free one-year anniversary night at the hotel with dinner at the Steakhouse! They truly seek to make your wedding an above and beyond special experience, not just doing the bare minimum.

I'm honestly not even sure where to start with how AMAZING my experience was with Megan and the team at River City. From the very start Megan was so helpful and I did not realize how much I would need her expertise and lean on her help. I honestly had never been to River City but was hooked after my initial meeting. Megan was extremely responsive to every email, call, question I had. She helped me plan every detail for the night and understood my vision. She was so helpful and accommodating with all the hotel bookings / getting calls from wedding guests, and then having to reschedule everything out a year. Megan just made me feel so much less stressed about everything, even when red wine was spilt on my dress during cocktail hour :). Megan was right there helping get it all off! Then the wedding night was everything I could've dreamed of and more - the room was STUNNING (definitely recommend the draping, wow), the food was absolutely delicious, and the staff was amazing. We keep getting told by guests how much fun and beautiful the night was, and Megan and River City made it all possible. I wish I could go back and re-live it all again, and I wouldn't change a thing. Seriously you can not go wrong with this venue, highly recommend!! Can not thank Megan and team enough!!

Where do I even begin with River city and the incredible Megan Jung?! I mean WOW!First I’ll start with the venue itself, absolutely beautiful!!! This venue has it all! The food and service were incredible all night, and this can be hard to do when you have a large guest list. We added the draping and up lighting and OMG. It was absolutely breathtaking and everyone to this day still raves about how gorgeous it was!! This venue has it all, we had champagne toasts for all guests and wine service with dinner as well which was a huge selling point for me to have! The best part about River City is Megan Jung, the coordinator. From day one when we met she was the sweetest and really helped us to have the perfect day we envisioned! We had to postpone due to COVID and Megan was there every step of the way to make it a stress free process! Megan was so prompt to answer all of my emails over the last 2.5 years. Leading up to my big day. She met with me to go over all the details and really was able to help me envision what the room would look like! There were many times I had to call Megan to get more opening for rooms for my guests and she was always right on top of it all! The week of my wedding, we were able to bring up all of our decor items and anything we needed so we didn’t have to feel rushed the day before. After the wedding, the staff had everything in boxes for us for easy transportation as well! The morning of my wedding, Megan came to my room to check on me to make sure I had everything I needed and made sure I knew that everything would be taken care of. She did all the communication with my florist, transportation and cake/desert vendors so I didn’t have to worry about any of it! Later on when it was time to head back to River City, she made sure we got to take a look at the room before all our guest were able to come in and we were speechless! The room was everything we wanted and more!! I loved that she did this for us so we could take a minute and soak it all! During my cocktail hour we had a little difficulty getting my bussel and Megan stayed and helped until we got it right! The tiny but big gesture meant the world to me! As we headed into the reception Megan made sure my husband and I had everything we needed, such as serving us appetizers since none of were able to get any at the cocktail hour, serving us drinks from the bar and just making sure everything was perfect!The staff throughout the reception were top notch!! They really made sure all of my guests were all taken care of and it truly was noticed how amazing they were all night long!! After we got back to our room Megan even had left us a note and a bottle of champagne for us to have as a new married couple! I can’t tell how amazing Megan is!River City has a huge part of my heart during this entire wedding planning journey and I’m so sad it has come to a close, but if anyone reading this is looking for the best prices in town with the best service and quality food, this is the venue for you!! You will not be disappointed!!

Simply put, there is not a better venue out there than River City! One of the absolute BEST things about this venue is the wedding coordinator, Megan Jung. She was there for us 100% of the time, even when we had to postpone our wedding due to COVID 19. During the months leading up to our wedding, my now husband, would often comment that he was beyond happy knowing I was stress free due to Megan and her team who were there to help with anything and everything we had questions about or needed help with coordinating. One to three weeks before the event, Megan and her team ensured proper hotel arrangements for our wedding guests, met with me to review the décor set up for the cocktail hour and reception hall, and stored all of our decorations and table favors. On the day of the event, Megan and her team distributed hotel room “Guest favors” as people checked in, worked directly with our transportation providers, made accommodations for our hair and makeup services, and checked in with us to ensure that we had absolutely everything we needed. After our ceremony and photos, as we were arriving back to River City, Megan and her team greeted us with umbrellas to prevent our wedding party from getting wet, unloaded our bus, put items back in our hotel rooms, kept us on our timeline, and escorted us to the green room where they had additional staff there to serve us appetizers and drinks. During the event, EVERY SINGLE MEMBER of the staff was extremely courteous and attentive. Without having to ask, Megan and her team secured all of our cards/gifts back to our hotel room and even left a thoughtful surprise. The day after our wedding, the staff had all of our décor neatly packed and ready for us to pick up. We have been receiving nothing but positive feedback on how delicious the food and drinks were, how beautiful the room looked and friendliness of the staff.River City’s prices are comparable to other venues, but what sets it apart from the rest, are all of the incentives River City offers you when you spend certain amounts. We were able to provide all of our guests with champagne toasts, offer wine service during dinner, enjoy two nights in a director’s suite, and have a wedding coordinator for roughly the same price you would pay elsewhere for only the location, food, and drinks. It was not easy planning a wedding let alone hosting a wedding during COVID but these two made it so much easier for us and did everything they could to keep things fun and safe for everyone. The decor in the room and the way the reception was set up was absolutely stunning - I found a google photo of a previous even they had and asked them to set up the same way. It exceeded my expectation from that photo and was even better than I could have imagined. The food also was fantastic and we got tons of compliments from guests. Megan was organized and accommodating for all guests - any worry I had she was there to help me in any way she could. Highly recommend you have your reception here - especially if you are debating venues during COVID restrictions. They have the capacity to host the reception you are dreaming of and still maintain guest safety concerns and adhere to guidelines. Megan and Christina at River City were amazing! It was not easy planning a wedding let alone hosting a wedding during COVID but these two made it so much easier for us and did everything they could to keep things fun and safe for everyone. They took care of absolutely all of it!! Seriously best venue to get married at! And their event center is gorgeous!!! I promise you won’t regret getting married or having your reception here! And the food the chef cooked for our wedding was amazing!! We had to switch to plated dinner about a month or so out and he made the best dinner! Everyone is still talking about our food!!Seriously! From the initial meeting to the wedding day, the ladies at River City (especially Megan) made everything run so smoothly. I didn't have to worry about a thing! They were so helpful in customizing the perfect wedding reception for us- from the appetizers, to the main course, to bar packages- they were so accommodating to anything we asked for and really made sure to stay in our price point. They were in contact with all of our other vendors, so my husband and I didn't have to plan any of the timelines for the reception. They did it all for us! River City set up and tore down all of our decorations, and made sure to send us extra dinner plates to my husband and I's room for after the reception. They are so incredibly thoughtful. And let me tell you- the food is still the rave of all of my guests. They cannot stop talking about how delicious the food was. I cannot thank River City enough for making our night so special and so worry free. We were able to truly enjoy every moment, and we have River City to thank for all of it.

I don't even know where to begin to talk about how amazing Megan, Christina, and the rest of the River City staff were! I never thought I would have my reception in a Casino Hotel buuuuuut I am SO glad that I did! We had a lot of wedding guests staying at the hotel, so that meant a lot of people in the hotel block, a lot of coordination about where to put the families, and a lot of emails, phone calls and questions. But everyone handled it so well! They had all of the rooms prepared upon arrival, even with bar stools for the makeup artists in the bathroom! Even with some hiccups in the transpiration on the wedding day, Megan remained calm with a smile on her face and got everyone where they needed to be, right on time. She handled every phone call and text and got everything done! Every vendor said that the venue was so accommodating to their needs and even the DJ said that they made his setup the easiest it has ever been! Megan handled every little request and made the entire day and reception exactly what I wanted it to be. She kept everyone happy and organized and did it all with a smile on her face. I will miss emailing her every few days with wedding questions and details! P.S. -- To all the brides-to-be, the draping and the go-bo's in the ballroom are 100% worth it!!! The photos and videos look INCREDIBLE!

Wow! What an amazing venue! All of our guests gave us raving review about our whole wedding from the open bar, to the casino entertainment, and finally the food (which was absolute delicious). I highly recommend the mac and cheese and orzo pasta for sides! Everyone still tells us that we had the best wedding food they have ever had. And I had to agree with them. Most places I felt like the chicken was over cooked/dry, or the sides were okay, but River City had the most amazing food and so many different selections. Also, working with Christina, Megan and Hannah was such a great experience. Since it was our first time getting married, we were completely lost on what all we needed or even where to start. But thankfully they were there to help us. They took their time in showing us around, didn’t pressure us into anything we didn’t want, gave us all the different options that we could with the space, vendor lists and much more. It was awesome having such experienced professionals by our sides. We had so many questions for our wedding, but all three of them promptly answered all of them. It was great to have such a quick response and a team that actually cared about us and making sure our wedding was what we wanted. River City definitely did everything they could to accommodate us and made sure our wedding was perfect. I’m the kind of person that likes to understand everything and find the best solution for the best price and River City definitely provided that for us. I price shopped everything and for the cost it was very reasonable compared to other hotels and places we were looking at. They worked with us from planning the set up costs, to the food and drinks, and working with our budget. It was great to know that we were in such great hands. I think the best part was that Christina, Megan, and Hannah were so extremely helpful with setting everything up. We didn’t hire a wedding planner so we were truly blessed to have them helping with all of it. They worked with us in getting a timeline put together, coordinated with the vendors so they would be set up and ready to go once we got off the bus, coordinated unloading the party bus of the food and coolers, and made sure the wedding was a well-oiled machine. The bartenders were great. There was barely a line to get drinks and there was even a personal bartender for the wedding party so we could enjoy ourselves. It was such a great experience that I highly recommend it to everyone who wants to get married.Plus, you get a casino right next door! We wanted a wedding that was going to be a lot of fun for our guests and something to talk about. And River City definitely delivered! It was the wedding all of our friends were looking forward to the most, and everyone had a great time. I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else. We are both so happy that we chose River City for our venue.

It was such a great experience that I highly recommend it to everyone who wants to get married.Plus, you get a casino right next door! We wanted a wedding that was going to be a lot of fun for our guests and something to talk about. And River City definitely delivered! It was the wedding all of our friends were looking forward to the most, and everyone had a great time. I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else. We are both so happy that we chose River City for our venue.

River City Casino was the best choice we could have made for our wedding! While we were initially looking at a handful of venues, River City was the only place that didn’t make us spit our drinks out when we saw the price. After meeting with sales to go over our options - we were sold! We had our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception at River City, but in reality we did everything there. One of the reasons we loved the venue so much, was the variety of settings that made it easy for us to get stunning pictures without ever leaving the grounds! Even better, there’s an attached hotel and built in after-party at the bars and casino! Christina handled our sale and initial contract. She was absolutely amazing and worked with us to make sure we had everything we wanted and more, all while staying on budget. Once we signed our contract, we were assigned our Event Manager, Haseeb. Haseeb’s attention to detail and fine eye made our big day truly amazing and we are so thankful to have met him! In all reality though, every single staff member we met at River City from the A/V Technicians to the Banquet Managers and wait staff went above and beyond! River City definitely knows how to do hospitality. To give a brief run down of our day:We stayed at River City the evening before so that we had rooms to get ready in the day of. Our party stayed in the Director’s Suite and the rooms were absolutely amazing. Huge, with plenty of room for our entire wedding party to get ready (we had to rooms, one for each side). Even better are all the onsite restaurants and cafes that made for easy coffee/breakfast.Once we were ready, we took all of our pictures on site. From the restaurants, to the fountain outside, the grounds, and ballrooms, RC really has a ton of great spots for pics without ever having to leave.We did our ceremony in the middle third of the ballroom, with the wedding party on stage. The “curtains” that the A/V team rigged up made for some awesome photos and the stage looked fabulous. After the ceremony, guests headed out into the foyer for cocktail hour. The bar staff were quick to get everyone a drink despite the large guest count (~275). It was the perfect time to mix and mingle while the room was flipped.Once the room was ready, Haseeb grabbed us for a first look before the guests headed in. The room was simply stunning - Haseeb asked us to trust him and we are so glad we did, because we can’t imagine anything better! From there, it was time for dinner and dancing! The food was delicious and the drinks were great. The dance floor was packed for the evening and everything went off without a hitch! Once the reception was over, guests headed out to the bars and casino to keep the party going. We never thought we’d be able to have a wedding half as amazing as what we got with River City! We’ve gotten so many compliments and everyone was so impressed with every last detail. The staff never once told us no, they were amazing to work with and great with not only us, but our other vendors as well. If only we could do it all again! TL/DR: You would be stupid not to have your wedding at River City!

We were never disappointed. Christina, Megan and the whole staff were amazing and so helpful through the whole planning process. They were organized and met my every need. The food at the reception was not only the best “wedding” food I have ever had, but some of the best food I have ever had! We had our rehearsal dinner, wedding and reception at River City in March and everything was wonderful! From the beginning, when we were still looking at venues and trying to decide, Christina at River City was extremely helpful. She went over all the details of how the events would take place there and what the typical schedule would be, but also made it clear that we could personalize the schedule to fit our wedding vision. Once we booked River City, Christina introduced us to our wedding host, Megan, who took over coordinating everything with us. While Megan served as our go-to person there, Christina was still available to us if Megan was away or out of reach. Megan was amazing though! She helped us with everything we asked, even the last minute details that didn't come up until the day of. Throughout the wedding planning process, she would send email reminders of things we needed to have done or booked at the point in time. She offered advice on some of our plans and details. If there was something we wanted but it wasn't necessarily going to look good or work out for the best, she would let us know. She would be honest and tell us it might not turn out how we want it, but if we really wanted to do it they would get it done. While some people might not appreciate that type of honesty, we did! She was so helpful through everything. Even the planning that was our responsibility, if I had a question about something she did her best to have an answer or get me in contact with people who did. They had great recommendations for vendors for us to use- decorations, cake, music, etc. And once those vendors were booked, we just compiled a list of their names and contact information and Megan got in touch with them in regards to when and where they needed to be to setup everything. Once our wedding weekend arrived, they were very accommodating. They had rooms for us to use for storage and preparation that were secure, and that we had access to 24/7 while we were there. Decorations that we brought from home to use, they set up for us where we wanted them. We basically just had to show up- everything was done. For the rehearsal dinner, we decided to do a sit down, service meal. Their servers were professional and courteous. And the food was AMAZING! We had so many compliments from our guests on how good the food was. For the wedding, it was held in the middle section of the event center. Once that was over we hosted a cocktail hour in the lobby area of the event center. During that time River City staff transformed the room from just the middle section to the whole room set up for the reception. When our guests went back in it looked like a completely different place- they loved it! We decided to do a buffet style dinner for the reception with carving stations, and once again the food was GREAT! The staff was professional the entire time and kept everything clean and cleared. At the end of the night, all we had to do was take the items we wanted to keep- decorations, pictures, etc. and they helped us move those items. After that, they took care of cleaning everything up. Everyone at River City made our wedding weekend the best and took so much of the weight off of our shoulders through the whole process. My husband and I joke all the time saying we should just have a wedding at River City every year to celebrate our anniversary because we, along with our guests, had such a great time! Our experiene at River City was truly PERFECT! We had both our ceremony and reception in the event center and could not have asked for a better venue! The food was EXCELLENT and we received many compliments from guests. We did the buffet style menu and it was better than I could imagine! The selection of alcohol was great as well! The convience of the ceremony room and reception room being so close, along with a hotel to accommodate guests, and a casino for after wedding fun was amazing! The coordinators made sure everything was perfect and helped me with every last minute detail! I even forgot something for a memory table and they found something for me to use in place of what I forgot. Megan and Christina truly went out of their ways to make us feel special. I received so many compliments on the venue and everyone was very impressed with how beautiful it turned out! Megan was pregnant and still didn’t miss a beat, even when she left to have her little bundle of joy Christina stepped in and took over. It was as if they were the same person! Nothing went undone. We had already decided on a wedding budget and a pretty large guest list so we were holding out for the perfect venue. River City ended up being THE perfect spot for our reception. Christina and Megan were both awesome to work with! They were so organized, helpful and willing to do whatever to make things easier for us. We planned the majority of our wedding from far away so I really appreciated their communication skills. The room was beautiful, the staff was great and the food was AMAZING. We have been getting so many compliments! Our guests loved the lively atmosphere throughout the hotel and casino throughout the weekend. We had a lot of out of town guests attend our wedding so they loved the fact that everything they could need was all on the same property. If we could do it all over again at River City we completely would! We highly suggest checking it out if you haven't already :)

Hands down the best venue site! We had our wedding reception and cocktail hour at River City. I cannot say enough good things about this venue, the staff, or the food. Every little detail exceeded my exceptions. The staff was amazing to work with especially Megan and Christina. Megan went out of her way to make sure every detail was covered. I changed my mind several times, but it never bothered her. She quickly responded to my phone calls, texts and emails. The food was delicious! Months later and everyone is still talking about how beautiful the venue site was and how amazing the food tasted. The beef tenderloin was a crowd favorite! During our food tasting the chef came out to talk to us and go over our food choices plus we got to take home all of the leftovers. Nothing compares to the venue's beauty. From the tall ceilings to the grand entrance. Guests loved the complimentary valet parking and the wedding hotel room rates. Megan was a great resource during the wedding planning process. She made sure to communicate with all of my vendors (band, florist, cake, etc.) before the wedding and the day of. This was a huge stress relief to know that she was taking care of all of these details for me. I was able to drop off all of my decorations a few days before the wedding. The staff set everything up for me and took everything down when the reception was over. This meant my friends and family could enjoy the reception without worrying about setting up or taking down anything. I would highly recommend this venue to any bride.

Hands down the best venue site! We had our wedding reception and cocktail hour at River City. I cannot say enough good things about this venue, the staff, or the food. Every little detail exceeded my exceptions. The staff was amazing to work with especially Megan and Christina. Megan went out of her way to make sure every detail was covered. We had my daughter's Wedding Reception at River City Event Center on March 18, 2017 and it was absolutely perfect. Megan Jung was wonderful and so easy to work with. Everything was perfect and I would highly recommend River City, and Megan, if you are looking to plan an event.

We looked at nine venues for my daughter's wedding reception. None compared with River City! From the very beginning, Christina Eller was extremely accommodating answering all of our questions and even sending us a list of other vendors they have worked with. After we booked with River City, Megan Jung handled all of the details (and many more questions from us) with such professionalism and enthusiasm. She made us feel so special and seemed just as excited for our big day as we were. We had 240 guests with 3 bars, 2 buffet lines, a very large dance floor, and still plenty of room between tables. The room was stunning with the chair covers, uplighting, and led monogram (designed by Megan). Even if we would not have had these \"extras\

I cannot express how much we loved our wedding at River City Casino. The staff was amazing to work with, especially Megan. They were very accommodating and helped us create the wedding of our dreams. When my husband and I went to our room after the reception, the staff had put 4 to-go containers of our favorite food from the dinner in our mini fridge for us to enjoy because they heard us say how much we loved it! Little touches and great service :)

My husband and I were very pleased with how the way our reception turned out. It was more than we even imagined. The staff was amazing and we have to give a lot of the credit to Christina and Megan. They were amazing. The food was outstanding, our guest still to this day talk about how much fun they had and how great the food was.

My husband and I had the night of our lives with our guests when we celebrated our wedding reception at River City Casino. The food was incredible, the service to our guests was top notch, and the room was beautiful. All of this would not have been possible though if it was not for Megan Jung and the River City Event Staff. Megan went above and beyond for my husband and I the moment we started planning with her. She was always prompt, polite, and had the ability to remember every detail of our conversation from one meeting to the next. She went out of her way to provide an outside transportation vendor so our guests would all be able to attend our wedding without having to drive to the ceremony. I had also always dreamed of a fairy tale wedding with special event lighting. Due to some permit restrictions, it looked as if it was not going to be possible, but with Megan's hard work she found a way to make it work. Megan and the River City Event team worked with Exclusive Events to create the most beautiful room my Husband, myself, and our guests have ever seen! The whole night was spectacular and it was so convenient to have the casino and hotel right there for everyone to enjoy. Our wedding was on November 28th, 2015 and every day since we have received compliments on the design, food, and service.
