River Creek Club is a wedding venue located in Leesburg, VA. Just 45 minutes outside of Washington, DC, the club offers a serene setting nearby the nation's capital. River Creek Club understands that no two weddings are alike and endeavors to help each couple celebrate their one-of-a-kind love story. To-be-weds are invited to choose from several distinct event spaces where they can host their ceremonies and receptions. The golf club's Chesapeake Ballroom can comfortably accommodate up to 200 guests. Thanks to its vaulted ceilings, wrought-iron chandeliers, and wide windows, the setting offers a charming, bright ambience. Throughout the festivities, couples and their guests can take a breath of fresh air on the adjacent veranda. The venue's second-largest event space, the Potomac Room, can accommodate up to 90 people for seated celebrations. Complete with a neutral color palette, the setting can easily be personalized to fit an array of wedding themes. Alternatively, couples can also choose to host their ceremonies, cocktail hours, or receptions on the covered veranda. This alfresco space can seamlessly accommodate up to 50 guests. From here, newlyweds and their loved ones will be able to admire breathtaking views of the Potomac River. Additional event spaces within the golf club include the Eagles View Room, and the Edwards Ferry Room. River Creek Club would be honored to work with you to bring your wedding-day vision to life. From start to finish, the venue's dedicated staff will be there to go the extra mile for you. On the day, the team can set up and clean up your event space so that you have more time to spend with loved ones. A day-of wedding coordinator and on-site banquet manager will also be there to assist to ensure that the celebration runs as smoothly as possible. Event essentials such as floor-length linens, napkins, tables, Chiavari chairs, and dinnerware will all be provided. The golf club's in-house culinary team can even create a stand-out dining experience for you and your guests.

River Creek Club Reviews
I had my wedding there last March. The venue was great. Patricia and Melisa were pretty good during our preparations. Everything was actually going really well until the ceremony when things started to go somewhat mediocre. We had our ceremony on the balcony which was beautiful. However the restaurant below us decided to seat their guest outside right below where the ceremony was happening, during the ceremony. Everyone in the ceremony could hear furniture being dragged, people laughing out loud during the vow exchange and when we brought that up to Patricia, she kinda gave us the cold shoulder. During the reception, Patricia left earlier while Melisa stayed until the cake was cut and left soon after. They both assured me that we were in good hands.There were a lot of problems by the end of the day. During the preparation, both Patricia and Melissa assured me that the cut cake will be put on the cake table for people to grab, but instead the server went around and put slices of cakes on a few obviously empty tables, which means the cake went to waste. We had some guests who did not come and they asked me if I would like to have the leftovers, I said yes and was very excited that I would be able to enjoy the leftovers for our honeymoon. We had the leftover entree, cake, and cupcakes on the cake table ready for us to grab as we had divided the leftovers amongst us while we were taking more photos for our “big exit” where every guest, family members, photographers, and DJ all went out to help make it happen. We had the venue until 9 pm before we had to wrap up the reception, but we decided to cut it short to make our “big exit” at around 8.30 pm with the guest who decided to stay longer as most of the guests had left d/t work the next day. Per the venue policy, we were given an additional hour until 10 pm to clean up, so I didn’t think that they would start cleaning up while we were outside taking more pictures as we still have a lot of our own belongings inside the venue.When we were done taking all the pictures, most of the guests left, but the bridal party, friends and family who were assigned to help us clean up re- enter the venue to grab all of our stuff along with leftovers of food, cakes, and flowers. When we returned most of the leftovers were gone, one of my bridesmaids had a dairy intolerance so I got specific cupcakes for guests who are gluten free and dairy free. She was supposed to bring home with her some of the cupcakes leftover and was very excited about it, but when we returned every single cupcake in her box was gone! We were very disappointed. My wedding cake was also butchered and because the people decided to lay cakes all over the empty tables, we lost quite a bit of cake. I was very disappointed that they took all the flowers including my wedding bouquet which I was planning on bringing with me home. We were very disappointed at the end of the day.Our disappointment continued after we came back from our honeymoon, gathering all our belongings, and unpacking everything. They never gave us back our wedding topper, lost the fairy lights that we put into the list of things to be given back to us, and the people in the venue practically washed their hands off of everything.TLDR: the venue had initially great response, but at the end, the venue/their people messed up during the day, lost our cake topper, my wedding bouquet and the flower girl’s flower, butchered our wedding cake, took most of our leftover foods and cakes (which was specially made for people with intolerance).

We decided to have our wedding at River Creek because it was easy and beautiful (right on the Potomac)! I would highly recommend it if you want something easy with everything included. The staff was so helpful and very responsive.

Have your wedding at River Creek!! We had the best experience we could hope for. The venue is stunning (our guests loved the view), the food is delicious, and the staff is super kind and professional. We started working with RCC in fall of 2020, and even though several staff members changed in the interim, our interactions with all of them were wonderful. Alisha was our day-of coordinator and she was the best. Our day went so smoothly, and we got several compliments from guests saying it was one of the most organized events they’ve been to. We’ll always be thankful for our experience at River Creek, and can’t recommend the venue highly enough.

Melene and the broader River Creek team were fantastic! Everything was perfect - food, logistics, beautiful venue, not much else to say! You guys made it work and we really appreciate it. To this day our guests still rave about how much fun they had at RCC.

River Creek Club made our wedding day so beautiful! The venue is amazing and Melene is on top of everything! From the minute we chose RCC, every single question I had, they were on top of it. Every request we had, they made it happen. RCC was more than flexible during COVID and did everything they could to make sure that our wedding was safe and that everyone felt comfortable. Not to mention the food and drinks were AMAZING! Only tip - do not use Edibles Incredible for cake from the preferred vendors list, the cake really put a damper on the night and the company has caused endless stress, which no bride needs!

River Creek Club is not only a beautiful venue but also very flexible. Rachael and Melene were beyond helpful and made planning and the wedding day ultimately stress free! Our guests couldn’t share enough wonderful comments on the beautiful view as well as the amazing menu! I wouldn’t change anything about our wedding day at River Creek!

My wedding and reception both at River Creek Club was phenomenal!! The staff, food, location was excellent from start to finish. The staff from Rachael Rutherford, Amanda Gervais & Melene Tolson, each one of these ladies made my experience with this organization unforgettable. As a bride, going through this process in a 6 month timespan, can be stressful. Because of these ladies, my day and my husband's experience on that day was THE BEST!!!! I have nothing but GREAT and AWESOME things to say. Every wish was granted, these ladies were professional and provide above and beyond service. Every staff member I encountered was courtesy and provided the same level of service as these ladies. Thank you for hosting our wedding and providing such a beautiful venue. WE LOVED everything about our day!!! Our guests gushed at how lovely the facility and grounds were, and how they just enjoyed the food. I will tell everyone I know about my experience with RCC, the customer service was IMPECCABLE compared to others I've experienced!!! The value was worth the cost and the service we received!! Thank you again, RCC staff for taking care of us on our special day!!!!!

We couldn't be happier that we chose River Creek as our venue. Not only was the view fantastic but we loved that we were the only couple getting married that day and had the place to ourselves (such a different feel than a wedding factory venue). Rachael was a FANTASTIC venue coordinator who made sure our wedding went off without a hitch. Not only did she make sure that everything was set up properly, when we finished walking up the aisle she had 2 glasses of champagne waiting for us. You're also able to drop things off the day before and pick things up the day after which is a huge lifesaver given how busy the wedding weekend is. We highly recommend River Creek - it was such a great decision.
