The only thing that beats the scenic views of our golf course on the White River is the view of the bride walking down our covered deck during her ceremony. River Glen can host up to 150 guests for a ceremony and reception, and we take pride in helping each couple plan a unique day to remember.

We loved this venue for both our ceremony and reception. The ceremony takes place on a nice covered porch and the reception has nice seating inside. Wonderful view from the porch, which guests can go out on during the reception and enjoy a break from music and dancing while watching the sunset.The staff at River Glen was very helpful and responsive with questions, and did a great job making sure everything went smoothly for the wedding.The venue is definitely more intimate with the maximum number of guests being 150 (it was perfect for our wedding of 100 people). We would highly recommend this venue to others.

River Glen really could not have been any more perfect of a reception venue. I was a very budget conscious bride and was overwhelmed with how expensive reception venues were in Indianapolis. River Glen was the most economical choice. Their price includes rental of the hall, tables, chairs, linens, cutlery AND alcohol (plus a million other things). They were all so amazing to work with. Very prompt and all of their email communication, friendly and helpful leading up to the day of. The night of they were very seamless. I could not have asked for a better reception. All of their rental items like chair covers and color linens are very affordable. This allowed me to add those touches that I would not have been able to afford otherwise. Their grounds are gorgeous and we got many amazing photos. If you take the golf carts out there is a covered bridge where we got some great pictures. They also have an amazing deck outback and we had a gorgeous sunset. Since it was Fourth of July weekend we also had a fireworks show in the distance. Everyone loved the venue. It was so cozy and warm. We had about 55 guests and it was very roomy.

We had our reception at River Glen and it could not have been more beautiful! The staff is amazing! They answered my 7 million questions with so much respect and they were so timely with responding. They helped with some last minute changes that rolled around! They set up the venue and it was so gorgeous! I could not be happier with River Glen. The deck overlooks the golf course and makes for a gorgeous view! Many decorations were factored into the price and beer and wine were included as well! I highly recommend!

We had our reception at River Glen and it could not have been more beautiful! The staff is amazing! They answered my 7 million questions with so much respect and they were so timely with responding. I am so happy with the way my reception went! I met with them a couple of times before the wedding to nail down details, and they were so accommodating. Stephanie was amazing, she was so nice to work with and I felt like she would provide literally anything I asked for! We hardly had to worry about anything the day of. They set it all up and took it all down (minus the decorations we brought ourselves-centerpieces, signs, some head table decor, and games/coloring pages). I felt absolutely no stress about the reception. They gave us two golf carts (and a guide) so we could go out onto the course and take pictures. I told them the catering I wanted with Indy Anna's and they arranged it all. Some things were changed last minute, but I just emailed them and they were totally okay with it and very flexible! I highly recommend River Glen to anyone who wants to feel secure knowing that everything will be taken care of for your event! (If you email them, they will send you a wedding packet that has every detail you could want-including all the pricing and food options).

Stephanie was so fun to work with! She's very personal and flexible. I could tell during the whole process that she really cared, and wasn't just trying to make money. Burnadette was so great during the rehearsal and the day of the wedding. She kept everyone on track for walking down the isle and then kept everything running smoothly all night. Reasonably priced, especially considering everything that is included. I definitely recommend River Glen!

I cannot rave enough about the event staff at River Glen Country Club!! Stephanie made it completely unnecessary to have any kind of wedding planner or day-of coordinator (which is perfect because we didn't have the budget for one!). I planned everything myself, which is stressful because I have never done anything like that before, and she went above and beyond to answer all of my questions and ease any worries I had about everything coming together for our big day. The week of the wedding, I kind of crapped out on a few minor last-minute details - and she totally took charge and created a few displays without me even knowing or asking! I was unable to actually decorate the venue myself because they had an event the day before and I had hair & makeup the morning of, so I sent the boys over on a hope and a prayer to bring my 'vision' to life. Stephanie and Bernie were there to help and everything turned out absolutely amazing!! They took my crappy print-out seating arrangement list and turned it into a beautiful framed display without me even asking! We stopped in the next morning to pick up a few things that were left behind, and they both commented on how wonderful of a time our guests and family's had the night before and how they had never seen anything quite like it :) Every detail they helped with, every task they took care of so I wouldn't even have to think about it, every worry of mine they eased - that kind of service is just priceless. It's more than them knowing all the right things to say - they are genuinely wonderful and talented people!

They are very detailed and know what they are doing. The only heads up I would give brides is you have to decorate yourself the day of the wedding. The table settings is done by the venue but any additional details you want to add you are responsible for setting up and taking down.

My husband and I got married on 9/7/13. We spent a lot of time looking around for the perfect venue. We finally got it narrowed down to two and are so happy we chose the River Glen Country Club. We had our ceremony outside on the deck and the reception inside. Everything was set up perfectly. Lauralee, Stephanie, and Berna were excellent coordinators and always provided great customer service. This country club is by far the best value for the whole package. The River Glen made my wedding day one I will never forget.

I had my wedding reception here for around 100 people and it was the perfect size. Everyone remarked on the beautiful view, attractive decor, and the delicious cake baked by Lauralee. They don't nickel and dime you, but rather you pay an all-inclusive fee which is a great deal.

The wedding planners were great throughout the entire planning process and they went beyond expectations on my wedding day. Affordable prices! AWESOME! After spending tons and tons of time researching venues, we finally settled on River Glen Country Club. While the interior is not as fancy or unique as some other venues in the area, everything else about it is awesome! The price is incredible, they clearly state what is included and there are no \"nickel and dime\" things to worry about as you plan. For example, even if you have an outside baker, the event coordinator will slice and serve the cake for no charge. Who ever decided it made sense to charge a separate fee for slicing cake and putting it on plates, let alone charging to use the knife and server?\r\rLauralee and Stephanie were amazing to work with from the initial call until the end of the reception! I have high expectations for customer service and they excelled. Not only were they quick to respond to all emails and phone messages, they were always very kind and willing to do whatever they could to help make our day special.\r\rRiver Glen catered our meal and it was delicious! Several guests even made sure to comment about how good everything tasted. I am not sure who prepared the food so I cannot give specific credit. Lauralee made our cake and we are excited to have her make another small one for us on our first anniversary so we can fully enjoy it. The few bites we had were awesome, we just did not take time to eat more. That is another little thing we loved, Lauralee will make a cake for your anniversary so you do not have to eat cake that has been frozen for a year! I sent her a picture of a cake we liked and she made one that looked exactly like it!\r\rOur ceremony was on the balcony, overlooking the golf course which was beautiful.

This was a fantastic venue for a rehearsal dinner, and I can imagine it would make a beautiful small wedding venue. I went here once as a rehearsal dinner guest and loved it so much we had our own rehearsal there. The staff was helpful, food was good, and the setting was beautiful. Great place!

We had our reception at River Glen and it was great! Lauralee and Stephanie were so easy to work with and the location is great. The banquet hall is lined with doors that exit to a deck that overlooks a beautiful view of the golf course. They just renovated and the place looks great. The price for the hall is very reasonable and worth every penny!

We had our reception at River Glen and it was great! Lauralee and Stephanie were so easy to work with and the location is great. The banquet hall is lined with doors that exit to a deck that overlooks a beautiful view of the golf course. They just renovated and the place looks great. The price for the hall is very reasonable and worth every penny!
