This laid-back, comfortable getaway is ideal for pre-wedding parties, ceremonies, and receptions. The rich nature and breathtaking landscapes provide a sense of serenity and relaxation, the perfect recipe for an intimate wedding or grand celebration. The main building is a National Registered Victorian House, just 30 minutes from Assateague Island and Ocean City. The location offers amenities for parties, such as swimming, fishing, golfing, boating, biking, and much more. The River House Inn comprises the main Victorian house and three cottages. Each space has been recently renovated and updated and has its unique personality and style. On the morning of the big day, nearlyweds and their wedding parties can avail of these rooms to get ready and for touch-ups throughout the day. River House Inn features a large outdoor area, including a private pool and plenty of room for relaxing in the sun. Couples can exchange vows in the breathtaking outdoor space or under the romantic gazebo before moving to the BBQ Grill area to entertain guests with a cocktail hour. Newlyweds and their photographers can enjoy walks along the property with various stunning backdrops for their portraits. Then, enjoy dinner with loved ones in the beautifully restored formal dining room, casual bistro, or two parlors. Make use of these function rooms or set up a pop-up gazebo and dance the night away under the stars. In addition to accommodation for guests overnight, the River House Inn offers a delicious breakfast each morning made of locally sourced ingredients, ideal before a day of exploring the area and the many experiences it has to offer.
