Danielle Gregori(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 27-05-2018 We had a little hiccup in our wedding plans late in the game and needed to find a new venue ASAP. Somehow the universe conspired to bring us to River Road Farm, and I couldn't be more grateful! Linda and all her staff went above and beyond to make sure our wedding went off without a single issue--they are the kindest, most caring people, and they made our wedding even more special than I could ever imagine! Planning was a breeze, and communication as easy as pie. I haven't stopped hearing compliments regarding the beautiful venue and the magic of the night since the wedding a week ago. I can't recommend it enough! On top of all this, my party and I were able to stay in the on-site lodging the whole wedding weekend, which meant I got to spend time with everyone I love and not worry about traveling back and forth or spending extra resources on finding everyone before major events. If you want to wow your guests and experience a team of people who are 100% on your team, then look no further! Reviewed on 02-06-2018

We had our wedding at River Road Farm and we could not have asked for better venue! Their team worked seamlessly with all our vendors to make sure we had the best day ever. They went above and beyond in every aspect, especially in making sure our day would be accessible for one of our guests who uses a wheelchair. We cannot thank them enough! Reviewed on 17-05-2023
Ruby Belfiore(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 24-09-2022 This venue is so unique and so beautiful. We originally chose it because of how beautiful the property is, my connection to Vermont and the area and the adjoining housing that allowed our family to be so comfortable and nearby. The staff was amazing from the start, offering recommendations for local vendors and truly cared about you as a bride having the best experience. It is a more hands on, coordinate yourself, type of venue but the property is so worth it. The only thing to note, is parking is not available but they made that very clear from the start. Day of, the staff was present, knew what was happening and took care of everything - for example, a place setting was needed, the staff took care of it and never mentioned it to me or anyone else. The accommodations were great and exactly what we wanted (it’s attached to the barn) so we were able to stay the location the entire weekend and didn’t have to transport the wedding party all around. Allowing us to stay from Thursday-Monday was unbelievable in making setup and planning easier and truly made the entire time at the venue special and so worth it - you did not feel rush in and out. I couldn’t recommend Jimmy, Jamie and team enough! Entirely worth the expense for a truly unforgettable weekend and a gorgeous venue! We had people from all over the country attend and comment on how this venue felt so different, picturesque and unique. I couldn’t recommend this venue enough! Reviewed on 08-01-2023
Claire Magliola(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 09-07-2022 River Road Farm was the perfect venue for our wedding! The property has it all - expansive grounds with multiple gardens, an outdoor statement pool, cozy barn, mountain views, and impressive onsite lodging. The RRF team was extremely knowledgeable about the area and were a pleasure to work alongside. Highly recommend! My husband and I are already planning a return visit! Reviewed on 26-07-2022
Maggie Lawson(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 25-06-2022 River Road Farm is not only the most beautiful venue, the staff is amazing. Jimmy, Jamie and their team were beyond accommodating, had the best ideas and were overall a pleasure and easy to work with. The venue itself has so much to offer, beautiful views from every angel and so many options for your wedding day. I could go on and on about River Road Farm and their team but overall our wedding there was absolutely wonderful and we couldn't thank them enough. Reviewed on 07-07-2022
Paul H(bride)2 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 28-02-2022 I found River Road Farm and was instantly in love with their pictures. It was one of the first places we toured and I was ready to book a date after seeing the venue. I had been in touch with Derek who seemed incredibly responsive. We toured with the property manager, Jamie. Jamie was wonderful but she did not have full a knowledge of all the wedding logistics ie costs, preferred vendors, etc . I never received any follow up from Derek after our tour, which I expected because Jamie did not have full knowledge of wedding planning. The lack of follow up from Derek really spoke to me and ultimately why were never booked with River Road. I felt like they didn’t need my business. All of the other venues I visited I received a follow up email and the response was always eager to answer any questions and willing to help. Reviewed on 01-04-2021
Franci O'Neill(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 16-08-2016 Hidden gem!!! I am in love with River Road Farm. We got married here in September 2017. Our entire bridal party (and their significant others) stayed right on the property with us. The barn is gorgeous and we had our ceremony right on the pond. Linda Dilworth is fantastic- call her if you want a tour!! Reviewed on 02-01-2018
Morgan MacCuaig(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 30-09-2017 River Road Farm was the most perfect and magical place to have our wedding. I grew up in VT and always wanted a VT barn wedding. After a long and frustrating wedding venue shopping experience, we stumbled across River Road Farm per suggestion from our photographer. I had initially scrolled past it on Knot and written it off as too expensive and unavailable for the next year per our experience with every other Manchester location we had reached out to. We looked at their website again, crossed our fingers and emailed Linda (the coordinator) on a Saturday night. The next morning I had an email in my inbox from Linda saying they had our date free! Fate (and a true testament to Linda's excellent responsiveness and attentiveness)! Once we stepped foot onto the property and into the barn we knew there was no turning back and that River Road Farm was where we would have our VT fall barn wedding! The grounds are immaculately cared for by the team at River Road Farm and the barn, lodging, and office space are the coolest and most special I have seen. The venue is a beautifully restored, revamped and reimagined Morgan Horse barn with a terra cotta roof that reminds you of a Spanish hacienda. This VT barn is unlike any you will ever see! Our guests still comment how amazing our venue was, even my dad who does not gush over such things says it was the perfect place for us to get married. Linda and her team were wonderful to work with and we were in email and phone contact constantly. We had a limited budget and she helped us figure out ways to have our dream wedding and not blow our budget. She recommended the most perfect florist for our bouquets and table settings. While I love flowers, this is one of the things that I loved most about River Road, it didn't need a lot of frills and fuss, the grounds and barn spoke for itself and helped us save money. We had the opportunity to bring our caterers in for a tasting so they could tour the venue, use the kitchen, and assess any additional needs they might have come wedding day. Another way we saved money was hiring our own bartenders and supplying the alcohol ourselves, it was a lot of work, but was worth it financially - AND River Road has 2 gorgeous wooden/copper topped bars that you can rent! We had our bridal/groomsmen parties (11) stay with us in the lodging for the weekend and it was perfect and so fun, I am so glad we did this. We also hosted our rehearsal dinner at the venue after our wedding rehearsal. Twenty-one of us all sat around the gorgeous copper topped dining table, it was the perfect way to celebrate with our friends and family. Our actual wedding day was cold and rainy, but upon finding me in my pj's anxiously fussing with the tables the morning of our wedding, Don (grounds manager), assured me the rain would pass and he would use the leaf blower to dry the grass. The rain stopped and he was out the with the leaf blower and we had our perfect outdoor ceremony! We had 123 guests total at our wedding. Soup to nuts, River Road Farm and their staff are kind, helpful, and professional people to work with. Linda even recommended a hairstylist, and they helped us load and unload all our cars. Unlike many places, River Road is not a wedding in a box type place that commits you to using their vendors. While this requires a lot more planning and hard work, it allowed us to have a VT barn wedding that was 100% us. We could not have picked a more perfect place! Reviewed on 12-12-2017
